You know what's bad? Well, erhm, 2 things. Numero Uno- When you're on facebook ( I know, I know) and all the ads on the side are for cupcakes and cakes..I'm not cake or cupcake obsessed. I dont have a problem. Don't look at me like that... Numero Dos--Do you ever have those days where you tell yourself you're gonna do certain things--even make lists perhaps--then you wake up the next morning (not feeling like P.Diddy) and realize you fell asleep on the couch? Well folks, this is my life lately--I'm not even joking. I woke up this morning at 2 a.m., then on and off starting at 4:45 a.m. Who am I? Am I even human? I think I have a fever. A person with a fever without a checked checklist. Speaking of lists--I made a list of things I want to bake/make for this new venture and BOATMEAL came to mind. Oatmeal + Baked = Boatmeal and no, dearies, I didn't make it up. It's Real. Just like my cake ads on facebook and the spontaneous Georgia Weather today. Enough with the Ramblings-...

Hello All. I don't know if you know this...but.. I love coffee. Let me put this into perspective for you- if coffee were a person, I would run up, give him a huge smacker on the cheek, and propose. Well, maybe not that extreme but you get the point. I made cake cookies on Sunday for Easter...I probably would've made them anyways regardless if it was Easter, but while everyone was taking their Sunday nap--I took on the kitchen, but it was kindof a bust because I had to be quiet. BOOO... I love making messes with cooking. It happens you know? Just let it be. Before I show you the fab cake cookies, I found this smashing picture.. Be classy folks. If there's one thing I learned from life in my 20 something years- be classy.. ________________________________________________ Okay. Now for the sugar. I thought about making homemade red velvet cookies from scratch..but then I decided against it because I lacked some ingredients. BUT did you know that they have VINEGAR in them? and the red is just food coloring.. I know I just burst your cookie bubble--...

Today, I embraced sweet tea with a love that was like no other. Work was very busy, people everywhere wanting their chicken-- and let me just tell you-- coupons don't halt the human hunger.I love giving away coupons though-- who wouldn't want to give away free stuff? That's right..No one. So all that to say..Work was much busier than last Thursday. This brings me to the love of my life, baking. (and Jesus, puppies, friends, and cuddles of course)--I skipped working out because I wanted to bake cupcakes for my work folk. My lovely friend bought me 6 cake mixes for my birthday and time was low, so I decided to use them and a little bit of love and an arriba later... WHAM. I took molding chocolate, melted it and put them in chocolate molds (these can be found anywhere like Walmart in all shapes and sizes (like Americans). Here's what they look like: Pretty, I know.
