Best Baking Bags Oven Large

👤These are not large enough to fit on a baking sheet. They are only 13 years old. They were too short to deal with it when I pulled one out, so I pulled out my other roll. I will probably use one and a half sheets to cover the pan or use in bread pans, but I would not buy them again.

👤I use it to cook french fries in the oven, chicken in the oven, and even chicken in the oven on a piece of paper. The paper burns. It doesn't lay flat on the pan. The pan stays clean and it is cheaper than using aluminum foil.

👤I wrap leftover cheese so it doesn't mold quickly. The kind that was folded twice had a convenient fold to tear them in half for smaller leftovers. I'll probably get that next time.

👤Does it really need a review? I got a bargain when I bought this. The double pack for the price was a better deal than a single roll, because of the square footage. The prices are constantly changing so your mileage may be different. The pop ups are convenient as you don't have to worry about the roll. I prefer using foil in some instances. I use it to line a cookie sheet because it doesn't affect the temperature and it makes it easy to clean up. I like using it to line my counter tops when I prepare messy food. I can just throw out my mess if I take it to the trash or compost.

👤These are good for baking in the oven. I put them on my cookie sheet and then make food. I throw away the paper after removing the food. No fuss! It has never been easier to clean up. Make sure you read the dimensions. I thought the sheets covered a whole cookie sheet, but they only cover a quarter of it, so you have to use 2 whole sheets or 1 whole and then cut another one in half.

👤I like to cook in the oven or heat up/re-heat in the toaster oven, but the sheets of parchment are much easier to work with. I don't like when you can't cut an even piece when you pull out the roll kind. You don't have to worry about that with these sheets. The sheets seem to be a little thicker than the rolled ones, which makes them easier to clean. They seem to be just the right size for my pan and some of my roasting pans, so I just pull out a sheet, lay it on my pan and pop it in the oven. I plan to keep buying them.

It's easy to clean spills as you just wait for them to cool down and throw them away. I have issues with my wrists and hands when trying to tear the paper from the rolls, so it is harder to use rolled paper. The paper is too short or long, or there isn't enough for what I need. The roll sheets of the paper are too big to fit in the oven. I will buy these again.

👤I don't usually write reviews unless they are good, but this one might raise the bar for that. This is the best thing I've ever gotten for my kitchen. The babies are easy to clean in the sink. Is apple pie filling spilling over? The jam filling spilled on the baked goods. teriyaki sauce? It is washed away in hot water. I've never had to do anything like that, but I did have to run a cloth over a few bits of pie filling. I use them for everything. I bake on these, it's so easy to wash my pans. I use them to keep the work stations clean. These and the giant one I got a few weeks ago have made it easier to clean up. These bad boys feel sturdy and will last a long time. They look nice, which is a nice touch. It was worth every penny.

The mats are thick enough to hold up, but flexible enough to roll up and store. The circles made my cookies more uniform. 👤I used a one pound cake recipe to make 2 half pound cakes. It's a great gift for smaller loaves. They baked up fine but got stuck. I did not prepare the pan in any way. I am not sure if the grease will affect the paper. It should be lined with paper. I would recommend this product. Ps. 👤We're all on partial lockdown and needed a little pickmeup, so I ordered these to make zucchini bread for my friends. They are perfect! Nice looking and sturdy. My friends don't have to worry about returning a pan because they look great. A loaf of bread is not a loaf of bread.

👤These are very easy to use. These make baking very easy, I bake bread for my neighbors and friends. I spray them first with butter and bake them at the suggested temp. If you use Betty Crocker or Pillsbury you can fill 2 of these pans with 1 box of banana bread and 1 box of blue berry muffin mix. I baked mine all at 375 degrees for 45 minutes and they came out perfect. It's nice to bake in a bag or box and have your gift ready to go. It's not possible to wash the bread pans constantly. I highly recommend them. I would love to see a holiday pattern offered.

👤I made several kinds of quick bread to give away for Christmas and these came in handy. The recipe went a long way because I was able to divide it. The recipients were very happy with their gifts. I wish they came in different prints but other than they are sturdy, no need to grease the pan or flour it, just like a cupcake liner, you can dump you dough in them and they will bake, not sticking! These were delivered well.

👤I have tried other paper products, but this one is better. I have found paper loaf vessels on Amazon, but it is not as sturdy or large as this one. I baked banana bread for someone and it was perfect. Sorry, but don't have a photo at the moment. The dimensions are great. It is close to your standard metal loaf pan. Please have them in stock because I will be ordering more.

👤I was considering buying two more, but I think this was the bigger one. I am happy I chose this one. My 9x13's fit well. I used this for the first time on Easter Sunday. There are two sections for the ham and mashed potatoes. When I arrived at my daughter's house, my food was hot and my casserole dishes fit perfectly. It was in the carrier for about 90 minutes, so that might not be the best test of time. It was a good start. I probably won't need to keep anything cold or hot for long. This product was recommended by me.

👤I have never heard of people using pot holders to handle a dish when removing it from a carrier. The dishes were placed in the carrier from the oven. They were so hot that I was worried about melting the insulated interior of the carrier. I wondered if anyone would want to eat in the heat when I took the carrier to the outdoor event. The dishes were warm when I pulled them out. It was just warm. I used to wrap my hot casseroles in a thick towel and put them in an insulated shopping bag, but I was excited to have an actual carrier. My wrapped towel in an insulated bag method kept it warmer than this carrier. It was easier to carry my hot Pyrex inside the carrier than it was to carry it outside, but it was not the heat retaining wonder I'd read about. I don't regret the purchase as I'm sure I will use it to transport food that I may then rewarm at my arrival, and it wasn't expensive, but it sadly lacks the heat retaining properties for which it was purchased. If you're transporting food a short distance or taking something cold to heat it at your destination, I think it works well.

👤I bought this as a present for our friend who was celebrating her birthday. It is well made and lasts a long time. I think it will last for a long time. I like that it has two separate areas for your dishes. There is a bonus pocket where you could put condiments. I like the color. Other brands had strange colors or color combinations. I also bought a couple of Pyrex dishes with lids. I thought it would work best for stacking items in the carrier. I bought a hot/cold pack to go inside. The hot/cold pack kicks it up a notch when the carrier keeps things cold. I would recommend this carrier to anyone. My friend is very happy with it. Anyone who sees it stops and asks her where she got it. Great purchase!

👤The quality is good, but the description is incorrect. If you use the Pyrex lids for the casserole dishes, they don't fit in the carrier. If you can't use the lid because the carrier won't hold the dish, what is the point of having a carrier? Don't buy this product if you like to use a corresponding lid.

👤I am very happy with my purchase. I thought I would try SmarTake because the package had 200 sheets, which was more than most of the other choices. The packaging is one of the best features. The box is strong. Don't just get into it. The first photo shows where to cut to open the package, but the second photo shows where to cut. The stack of papers is wrapped in white paper. Pull out the wrapped white inner package and tear around just the top few inches of the white paper to expose the sheets shown in the photos. You can pull them out one by one. I keep my rolling pin in the drawer. I have baked biscuits before. The sheets are an exact fit for my half sheet pan and can be folded and torn in half to fit a quarter sheet pan. I don't think I'd reuse the sheets I baked. The biscuits were very flaky. I should be able to reuse sheets once for cookies baked at 350F.

👤I decided to pay a premium for this pre-cut paper because I was looking forward to a good parchment paper after reading all the reviews. The paper was in the oven. I used a frozen pastry from Trader joes. The pastry bottom was burnt when my smoke alarms went off. I will return this if this happens again. Attempted to bake some crackers at 350 degrees. Within 10 minutes, it was burnt again.

👤I waited 50 years to buy sheets of paper. It is easy to pull out one sheet at a time from a shipping box that is easily converted into a flat container. It fits on a half sheet pan with no trimming and no excess paper. I have used it for everything from baking to freezing. I carefully compared the available products and chose this one. The paper was priced less than the role paper I had been using. I wouldn't reuse a sheet for this product.

👤I found the paper to have superior grease blocking qualities, and it was not hot for more than 30 minutes. It is not easy to fold for cutting.

👤I ordered the liners after purchasing a slow cooker. I am glad I did. I used one to cook a whole chicken and fill it with water to make stock after we finished eating it. For 15 hours, the liner held up the stock and water to the cooker. I had to gather the liner together at the top and throw it away after I dipped the stock and bones. The cooker was clean. I cooked the chicken for 8 hours. The liner held up for 23 hours of cooking. I will use them every time I use my slow cooker.

👤I suppose an argument can be made that you'll save the water that would normally be spent on cleaning the crock pot bowl, since these aren't the most eco-friendly product. I was looking for a simplified clean-up after using the slow cooker. I was worried that I might find melted plastic in my food, but after a lot of uses, it's not the same thing. This has never been an issue. There has been an issue with leaking. Sometimes they don't leak at all. Sometimes they leak a little. They leaked a lot. I definitely have had them leak, but I'm not sure if they get ripped in or what. I think I'm between 50 and 50 on that. If they leak it's usually a little messy, but a rinse and wipe is all that's needed. Even if they don't appear to have leaked, I still do that.

👤I love my slow cooker liners. I will never cook without one in my slow cooker again. I've been using these for over two years and they still don't make sense. I don't have to worry about the things sticking to the slow cooker or the fact that I have to clean it off. I just put one of these bags inside and voila! It doesn't affect cook time or the way you clean up, just pull bag out and toss. Sometimes after a long cook time with liquids still present, some leaking will happen from bag into slow cooker. Cleanup is still very easy and it is minimal.

👤Whoever invented these needs a prize. I don't like to clean the crockpot. I stopped using my crockpot because I hated cleaning it so much. These little miracles were found by me. Why didn't I know about them sooner? After we eat, I throw the bag away and my crockpot needs a quick wipe down. Yes, absolutely. A small price for not having to clean the crockpot.

👤I just did a review of my mini crock pot and it's great, so I don't recommend using these bags with it, just wash it out. Save the three extra dollars and buy yourself a sponge to clean out your Crock-Pot because these bags do nothing to help.

👤When I fly commercial airlines, I bought this to be used. I have never had to use it for that purpose. One evening I used one to cook a roast in and was surprised with a decent dinner. There is a I will explain if anyone ever reads this. If a fire were to break out in an aircraft, the fire would travel through the passenger compartment, and if you put your head over it, you would be protected from the intense heat. I have nothing to back this up except common sense.

We are definitely doing this again and I have the bags for when we do it again. The bags have a 5-star rating. I took a star off because I didn't get them in time.

I will be buying larger ones since I do a lot of bulk cooking, but I am happy with these sizes for personal cooking. I'll update after I use to how easy they are to clean after being cooked on.

I've only had them for a few weeks and so far they've been great, not sure about long-term durability, but they feel very sturdy. I clean them in the dishwasher. I was using cooling racks that got ruined so when I saw these with the STAINLESS racks that fit, I was happy! I love them and they are easy to clean up. I like to cook bacon every day. They block cell phone calls and texts. We wish Mylar bags would do what these foil bags do, and shield your electrical devices from the evil things that can happen. A clever person would put their device in a plastic baggie and put it in a Kingsford pouch. The foil bag should be folded closed with a few folds. The foil bags are a tad less stout than you might think. You could use a freezer grade plastic baggie or a Mylar bag at the end of your packing to hold your Kingsford foil bag. You can store this package in a metal garbage can. You might have a foil bag with you for the evening bbq. I will try to update this review with some glowing and trenchant observations after someone says the big one. 30Sep21: The protection didn't work after I retested it. Stay alert for an update.

👤It worked well for my fish. They are only used one time. I use my backyard grill almost every weekend. I need bags every week because I do a lot of fish. I can't afford it. Will have to come up with a new solution. My fish came out well. I could fit 3 fishes in one bag. I put them in a bag and thought I could save it, but it still didn't work.

👤Try it. Put your salmon in the bag. 2 ounces of lemon juice, 2 ounces of soy sauce, and 2 ounces of olive oil are added. The bag needs to be tightly sealed. The bag needs to be put on a hot grill. The bag will inflate. Remove from heat as soon as possible. There is magic in the salmon. Enjoy.

👤These bags are perfect for grill bags, they stay intact through the whole grilling process, and we used to try and fit sheets of aluminum foil together, but it always came apart or tear when we turned on the grill.

The last batches stuck badly, and the silicone appears to have been transferred to the high-end baking pans. Attached are photos. 👤The baking mats are great. The quality is excellent and the price is good. I use them for everything in the oven. You name it, it's from oven pizzas. I love that they help protect my baking sheets by helping food slide off the non stick surface. It is also very convenient to just wipe them clean or put them in the top shelf of the dishwasher. You can cut off 1/3 of the paper towel roll to use as a holder, and just roll up the mats and slip inside the ring for easy storage of the mats in a drawer. I highly recommend them. We use these mats almost daily and I have had them for almost a year. They look brand new. I have not had any issues with mats becoming worn or staining. I use them to cook most items at up to 450 degrees but have not had any issues with them so far. I drape them over my cups in the top rack of the dishwasher and then when dry roll them up and slip a napkin ring or rings cut from and empty paper towel roll into a drawer so they fit easily into a drawer. These things are fantastic and have paid for themselves many times over in the superior non stick surface, ease of clean up and the cost of parchment paper and or aluminum foil I used prior to discovering them.

👤I spoke with an Amazon customer service representative and was told that they would escalate the issue to have it addressed and possibly amend the product review. I am surprised that they didn't offer a refund on the product, but I think the most important thing is to see if they address the fire and safety issue at its root. There is an update on 11/11/18. One reviewer stated that these are not good for use above 400 degrees F. The mat was smoking when I opened the oven after putting it in the oven. This was the mat itself, no oils or anything applied to it. I changed my review to one star and will be requesting a refund from Amazon. This is a danger. I've been trying to reduce my carbon footprint so I was looking for an eco-friendly alternative to aluminum foil to line my baking sheets. The mats were the ticket. They fit perfectly on my baking trays. These are even better than aluminum foil because I don't have to use oil to make them non-stick! I can cook even better. I will recommend this to my friends.
