👤My daughter does a lot of clay work. I thought we would try another brand. The clay we received was so dry that it was hard to open. You couldn't get the crumbled parts to stick together. The product we received does not get a one star review in my opinion, so I wish I could leave a zero star review. The tools it comes with are good, but the clay we received made it difficult to spread or score the clay. The colors are great and I wanted to like this product. I learned from my mistake and will stick to Sculpey. We are not first time users of clay. A family of crafter use the clay on a daily basis for different pieces.
👤If you have experience, it's a good clay. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner because it's very sticky. Smaller items that have a lot of details are the right clay to work with. It wasn't enough to stop the clay from sticking to everything. It works well for mixing with other brands that need to be softened or color mixed. I won't be buying this again. When you get a black clay that turns out to be dark blue or purple, it messes up the whole project, because there is no color label or names to tell you what color you are using. The storage box on the website says that the company doesn't have the product, so you can't look for more information.
👤There is a lot of colors. There are some doubles. I would have thought it would have broken in line segments. Blocks are small but not small, there are a lot of choices. You get a great case with some nifty tools. It's worth the price compared to other options. I might have looked somewhere else without the case. The updated 1/21 is here. I am sorry, but I think that the color of this clay is cheap and will make your hands feel worse if you wash them. It was very disappointing. The case and tools are the only worthwhile parts of the set.
👤Santa brought this to my son. We both had fun. There is a nice assortment of colors. The bakes are well done according to the instructions. The organizers is aweome too. A set like this in a store would cost triple. I will be buying another set soon. Birthday gifts for children can be made by Wild. Or adult in my case!
👤It's too sticky and soft for anything other than play. Blending is almost impossible without crushing your project, and if you need to chop tiny pieces just stick to each other and your blade. It's good for kids to play with but not for artists. Stick with Sculpey.
👤We bought this to make figurines for our fish tank. It was perfect for our theme colors and a great price. It was a nice case to keep everything in. At first it was tacky but once needed it was perfect. It was easy to mold. There were no stains on our hands or table. I baked a few minutes more than the instructions said. I love it.

👤I love and hate this clay. It shapes around things. I like how you can score the pieces and make them stick to each other as if they were solid pieces. It dries much faster than other brands. You get a lot for the price. It is difficult even with a lot of kneading. Unless used as a thick solid piece, it shrinks and cracks. I used wood putty to fill in cracks before painting the things I made. It's kind of grey. I kept that in mind when trying to pick a color. It was almost impossible to mix paint with clay to color it. It depends on what it is being used for and how flexible the user can be.
👤It was a lot softer than I thought. It is the perfect texture. Rub water on your figure after dipping your finger in water.
👤This is my second tub of this clay. It says it's for kids. Maybe I should return it, I haven't been in a long time. HA! No way. I am always looking for the perfect mix of dishes and cups to use in my painting and making my own paint. It had to be clay because ceramics was not doable. I'm a cheap blank. I bought this clay. It was the first time. I bought the second one because it works well for me. It softened in your hands with a little kneading. It pats out nicely when it rolls out. It's easy to work with. It dries fast but should cure like the directions say. I use a spray sealant and follow it with a few coats of Mod Podge because the things I make will get wet after it dries. I can make all of the things I want. It's very happy indeed.
👤The clay was very wet. I brought it to school to use with my students and after giving a full speech on clay and how to work with air dry clay, I opened the bags and they were all dry! I was trying to cut the clay when it started cracking. I would like a full refund.
👤I bought this clay for a project. The clay wouldn't dry, so we made small projects. We waited three weeks and they still weren't dry. They were ruined because they wouldn't dry. I was told that I couldn't get a refund because I didn't report the problem in time. It seems ridiculous to me. We didn't buy it the day before we needed it, but we made art projects after 10 days. We waited to see if we could dry them. It was a waste of time and money and it was disappointing to the kids as well.
👤This is a review of the packaging. Not the product. I've used this product before and it was the same as expected. I will not be able to use this product. The container is covered in perfume because of my sensitivity to chemicals and fragrances. I was going to throw the box out as soon as I got it because I thought it was the delivery car's air freshener. I was wrong. The container is covered in a smell that made me sick. I hope I can get a product that isn't contaminated when I return it. It's going in the trash if I can't return it.
If the product can't be used, please contact them so that they can arrange a free replacement or refund. The restaurant and bright colors are VIBRANT. 👤I will not buy this again. It is soft to work with but the color was overwhelming. I messed up the lighter colors I worked with when I rolled out the black. It doesn't melt in the oven. It cracks when it airs dry. I will throw it away because I am not impressed.
👤My daughter and my grandsons. I liked using the many colors of the clay in this set. The clay was baked up according to the directions. We were all happy with the finished products.
👤This was a waste. The grandchildren didn't like it, it seemed far from the Sculp brand in quality. The colors were nice, but the clay seemed to be more dough than clay. You should read the size. These are very small. I wouldn't buy it again.
👤I have experience with the material. I know this clay will be great to use. I know how to keep his 7 year old hands busy by kneading it. He will like this. Thank you.
👤It's hard to hurt our hands. The project came out well.
👤I need to take a class to learn how to use it properly.
👤The product is soft for beginners. Some of the individual colors were leaking oil.
There are 12 FIMO half-blocks in the box that are assorted colors for creating all projects. The Tomorotec 32 colors clay set is soft type. It is possible for beginners and professional artists to use this medium. Well-suited for jewelry, fashion accessories, scrapbooking, home décor uses and so much more! The set comes with 32 colors. Wrap or cover the clay to keep it out of the sun and heat. No need to store it in containers because it has no water to evaporate. The clay should be softened prior to use. For 15 minutes per 14 inch (6.4mm) of thickness, bake on glass or metal at a temperature between 265 F (129 C) and 275 F (135 C). Don't microwave. It is not recommended that clay products be used to hold food or beverages. It is safe for children. The manufacturing process is non-toxic.
👤I was expecting them to be small but not as small as they are. I bought them to make my own clay chunks for slime, and they are lasting a while. The main issue with these is that they are packaged in a way that makes them look like they are mixing or getting on each other. The Clay chunks are separated with little pieces of cellophane type things and they are cut very oddly like they are from a toy.
👤Other reviewers have said that you get small chunks of many colors. The colors are great, but it is difficult to peel the plastic wrap off. I had to knead the clay for my students because it wasn't very soft.
👤I wouldn't recommend this for beginners. It's a sheet of colors. It's not enough to do much with and because of how it's packaged there is a chance that it will be like mine and bleed together. Sad...
👤The quality of the clay I bought amazed me. They were easy to mold, had lots of options, and were wrapped and placed in a travel bag. Overall, it was a good value.
👤I received my clay in the mail. I was discouraged to find that the blocks were small. I was expecting more of the product. I feel that a small amount is useless towards the crafts I had in mind. The pictures advertised make it clear how small this package is.
👤The issue is not the product but the clay itself. The cost is $2 more than another set. The packaging is a problem because it's sucks and the pieces were out of their little plastic divots and the majority of them had broken and the colors were stuck to each other. I had to make the best of the situation by trying to separate the colors. If I was more picture savvy, I would have posted a picture. They come individually wrapped and in a recloseable zip-lock type plastic bag, so no hassle and for $2 less. Which one I am ordering right now?
👤The kit doesn't include the tools shown in the booklet, and the clay block is smaller than my child's thumb. The clay isn't presentable and I recommend against giving it.
👤The product has a great value. The range is great. Some of them have glitter mixed in. I was surprised by how small the blocks are. The strawberry earrings used all of that shade. I used sculpey gloss glaze on top of the clay and it came out really cute. The individual wrappers are in weird sheets and it is not ideal, but since it is in such small amounts you just have to keep them in a box away from dust. It is a perfect product for the price. I will be moving to a place that dries stronger.
👤The clay was very hard. You had to knee it a lot to make it softer. I think it is a good price.

👤It is hard when it comes but if you work with it, it warms up quickly. You can go high on the oven if you want to bake a little longer. The mine goes down to 170. They are small. The dimensions in the picture are correct, and this clay will get sticky but is easy to use. The little pieces are easy to break. I had to glue the leaves back together. He is sealed with mod podge. I gave it 5 stars because it is a good product at a good price.
👤Would buy again, fun little packs, and lost of color options. I enjoyed making small things out of this clay. The color on our hands was not sticky.
👤My son's best friend is in first grade. I tried to think of something my son would like, and chose the cause of the variety of colors. It is full of clay and has three layers that click together. It reminds me of the christmas ornament bins we have, which is a cool way to divide up all the used and unused colors and tools, but click them together for safe keeping so they don't dry out. When my son runs out of clay, I will get another one.
👤The clay is great. You get 50 bright colors. They are individual packed. That way what you don't use stays fresh. I have had a lot of fun with my kids. It's easy to use and they have fun with it. We used the favorite cookie cutter. This is nicely packed in a container. We can keep what we don't use in it. The price was worth it. I will always remember doing this with my kids. I'm very happy with this. I recommend this to everyone. You can give it as a gift.
👤The clay is wrapped in plastic wrap, so I felt a bit wasteful, but they kept it moist. My kids and I have been having fun with this kit. There is a nice selection of colors. Will buy again when we run out.
👤I tried to make a Christmas gift out of this clay, but it wasn't enough. The handle holds the box together when it arrives broken. Even the larger segments of clay came in different colors. Not as large as you would think, but as depicted in the kit. The only good thing about the kit is that it came with tools.
👤The kit is very easy to use, excellent for any age child or adult, and has lots of colors, I got the 72 color. The clear container the whole kit comes in is very flimsy plastic and I can't use it because it cracked and broke across the top edge, so it's the only complaint I have. This is a great clay kit. I'll be creating with it. The 72 color clay kit and some of the images I attached show the kit, as well as some of the size comparisons of the molds and clay pack. I received an image of the cracked container.
It's easy to use Sargent Art baking clays for clay sculpting projects. Once hardened, your sculpture can be sanded, drilled, and painted. It's perfect for home projects, school projects, building models, creating jewelry, flower arrangements, crafts, science projects, and many more. Eco-friendly clay is safe and non-toxic. Kids and adults will love this gift. The clay is versatile. When baked, the clay is soft and pliable, even left out in the air. It can be painted once hardened. Clay will be firm at first but will start to change shape as you knead it. Divide the clay into smaller pieces if kneading large portions is too difficult.
👤This is not a firm clay. I can't see how anyone would think that this clay was too firm because it is so sticky and malleable. I bought this clay because of the reviews, and I was disappointed.
👤It needed a stiff roll to warm it up. It is great clay. These are for a toy. I am working on an accessory so the eyes are not in yet. I am happy with the process.
👤I used clay for the first time and it went well. It was relatively easy to work with the clay once it was warmed up and softened up. The biggest problem I ran into was getting the clay to blend with other parts. I was happy with the results and the clay.
👤Does not paint well with other brands. Next time, will try a white. It is hard at first and you have to work on it. It is very good texture. The instructions say it takes twice as long to bake.
👤Good for baking. It is easy to mold, just heat it up and you are good to go. You have to bake it for it to stay hard while it sits out. I liked that you can bake multiple times as you add details.
👤It's a great value for the money and requires a lot of conditioning. I would buy again.
👤The clay is soft and sticky, but it is a good starting point. I put it in the freezer to stiffen it up but it lasts 20 minutes. I had to sandwich it between two pieces of paper to get some of the oil out of it. It worked but it became too sticky to work with again. My figures were pretty weird. They look okay after baking and painting.

👤The kids were having fun with the clay. It has 50 different colors of clay. It has sculpting tools and a plastic storage box. Earring hooks, keychains, and so much more fun. They loved that they could make their own creations and bake them. The clay was easy to work with and it brought out the creativity in the kids. They were not arguing over the clay. There is a lot of arts and crafts time.
👤The amount of quality product is impressive. Bright colors, soft moldable clay, plastic shaping-tools galore. A good value. The plastic storage box is a good way to keep things organized.
👤What we were looking for. My daughter has made a lot of things. She can do the entire process on her own.
👤My son loves this stuff.
👤Kids tried to mold with no luck with the set of tools.
👤This is a great set to start. My daughter has a passion for making rings. The clay is easy to work with and there are many colors to choose from. The set has tools for working with clay. There is a mold with cute shapes and accessories for earrings, keychains, ornaments, and hair pieces. My daughter has been using her imagination for her own creations and there is a small user manual with some suggestions. She bakes her clay items in a low oven for 20 minutes. She has done a good job of mixing the clay pieces together and they are sturdy. The colors are the same after baking. The trays that the set is in fit well. They have a handle for the top. My daughter likes to take this kit with her to her friend's house to make beautiful designs. Younger children may need adult assistance if they want to do it all by themselves.
👤The clay is soft and suitable for low to medium detail work. The clay doesn't have an odor when baking. There were bits of dirt in several colors. The tools are disposable and not something an adult would choose to use. The case is decent.
👤The set is nice, however it is pricey. The set is small and the clay blocks are small. This is probably my least favorite brand of clay we have tried. The clay was hard to mold. My child was struggling with this. There is a good variety of colors and it comes with tools and accessories. The carrying handle makes the case nice.

The non-toxic clay is safe for artists of all ages since it complies with the safety standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials.
👤I usually use Premo clays. When I ordered a large box of Polyform Sculpey in the white, it was less expensive than Premo clay, and I absolutely loved it. I am glad I tried the black. It is easy to condition and work with. It is much easier to condition than the Premo clays. It is a little harder to get out of some of the smaller molds because it can get super soft, but I love this clay. It's easy to use and it would be a nice soft clay for children to play with. The colors of this black clay are absolutely gorgeous, a completely different look than the white clay. Very happy with the clay. I will definitely buy it again.
👤It's easy to use. We made maleficent staffs when the product was long lasting. We baked the clay in the oven for 7 minutes and they turned out perfect.
👤I don't understand why the price of the clay has gone up. It's 10 dollars more than craft stores on Amazon. Why?
👤It was a great project to complete quickly. It was a little stiff and needed to be rolled and folded a number of times before it could be used.
👤It was exactly what I wanted and was cheaper than in the store. I will definitely recommend sculpey clay from this seller.
👤It's nice to work with, it's moldable and doesn't stain my hands.
👤This is a dark gray and not black and it is nice and soft. I won't be buying this again because I am using color shift mica powders on the pieces I'm making. Next time will be more expensive. Really disappointed!
👤It's good for practice. I tried to make a sculpture with thin parts, but they would break all the time even after baking a few times.

Staedtler's clay opens up a world of crafting and deco art to anyone, whether you're just starting out or already an experienced artist. Kids on up to their parents can sculpt clay. Staedtler brings ideas to life wherever he goes.
👤The piece of clay is small. Very little. It's not enough to make 3 ornaments. I wish I would have gone to Michael's and gotten a bigger piece of clay, since I spent $6.00 on this. Don't put your money in a bag.
👤It was small for the price. Quality is ok. It's probably cheaper somewhere else.
👤The packages ordered are not usable. If it's old or not left out, the easiest way to make this clay softer would be by using a mixture. It should not be happening with new.
👤The original image used for this product is four times the amount I actually received, and I fee incredibly ripped off. 7 dollars for a package of clay is ridiculous. Come on, man.
👤When I received my package, it was only 2 ounces, so I was completely underwhelmed. It was my fault that I didn't read the description. I used this clay to make eyeballs for a skeleton model. It is easy to mistake the degrees Celsius for the Fahrenheit in the instructions, so be sure to set your oven to the right temperature. Despite being expensive, it was a great product.
👤I used some of the soft clay I ordered. It was hard, dry and crumbled. It was hard to use, so you don't know how old it is. Hope the other one isn't too hard.
👤I've tried other well known clays, but they are too difficult to manage. This brand is easy to model and hold its shape because I don't have the strongest hand. It makes it easier to understand.
👤The package was very small. I was expecting more than that. I should have bought somewhere else.
👤It was very difficult to use as it was very dry, and it was disappointing. I wanted to colour it, but it wasn't flexible enough. It worked to make mini flatbreads, but couldn't make anything with more detail. It was cooked and hardened.
👤It's a small pack, but it's a great way to try Fimo. The quality is good and I'm enjoying using it. I'm making hanging animal shapes and they're perfect for this. It's great to mix with other colors, such as for a black and white cat. I'm going to be trying to add texture to the surface and my practice efforts are working well. It took much longer than expected. I contacted the seller to let them know that it had not arrived in time.
👤I had enough left over to make a few more things after buying this. It's easier to make things than air dry clay which cracks, but the same issue doesn't happen with fimo! In the future, definitely be buying more in larger quantities.
👤I bought this to try out a new clay. It made it hard for me to try again. It doesn't change at all. I hurt my fingers trying to shape it. I received a different brand as a gift and noticed the difference immediately, even though I thought it was my newness to the material. Maybe it was old stock, maybe it's just the way this brand is. It's not for me.

👤This was a birthday present for my daughter's friend and she absolutely loves it. It is a great gift for an artist child. It comes in a wide variety of colors and is very affordable. Everything you need to start is included in the bundle. The clay kit came with an instruction book that was simple and straight forward, and it helped the kids a lot. They had a good time making different things and felt this was a good buy. The clay was very good. It was easy to mold. It wasn't sticky or messy like some other brands are. It takes around 20 minutes to dry in comparison to what I have experienced with mold clay. It's ideal for our little munchkins who have no business near an oven, because a hairdryer gets the job done as well. The pieces start to fall off once it drys. It's a great way for the kids to have some fun, but I wish they'd stay with it a bit longer. Very happy with it so far.
👤I bought this at a beginner's level. The price seemed decent and it appeared fair. The clay was a little sticky. Nothing like acetone can fix fingerprints. I put a bigger difference between the two. There is a great variety of colors. It bakes softer than other Clay's. It's perfect for people who want to start out with a kit.
👤The clay is okay, but it gets tacky very quickly. Leaving it for a bit to cool down will fix it, but it's a pain when you're trying to shape it. It doesn't have a good structure, so I'm going to need some wire to hold my figurines up. The new colors and shades are nice, but only a few of the colors are as bright as depicted.
👤The box was disorganized when I got it. It was like someone opened the box and closed it, sending it to me. The clay is very brittle. I can't figure out how long I need to bake the coin size pieces because the instructions are not clear.
👤My daughter was having trouble keeping her sculptures from falling apart, so we got this set for her. I have used fimo and sculpy on and off since the 90's and had hoped this would help her enjoy sculpting more. It's so sticky that you can't flatten clay with the enclosed rolling pin, and the tools all have plastic on the seams that make odd marks in the clay, I had to trim and shape the tools so she could use them. The clay is not great but the color selection is fun and the jewelry bits are nice. She is 8 years old. It was difficult to work with the clay as it was hard to clean it. The clay I've used is different from the clay I've seen at night and day. We used tin foil to bulk up anything larger than doll food, because it bakes ok but stays a bit pliable. I won't be buying again. It's a good way to say that it's harder to work with than playdough.
