Best Baking Containers Storage Set Ceramic

👤The containers do not hold 52 ounces. I bought them because they were the largest I could find on Amazon. To make sure we got large containers, we measured how many of them we could hold. These containers are not close to the large ones we have. Medium size. We bought these so that we can stop going to the grocery store. We are in a high risk group. I have compromised lungs. The measurements are correct. The ounces are not measured by the inches.

👤I said "okay, well it'll still be big" since there are so many other positive reviews and the top review complains that these are not 52 ounces. I saw a picture of someone putting a chicken in a container and I think it's big. These are small. The chickens must have been enough for one person or two children. If you're looking for something to store your big family dinner that will last a few nights, this is not it.

👤The bowls seem sturdy and the lids fit securely. I swapped out all of my Pyrex bowls for these bowls, so they fit in my fridge and can be stored in my cabinet much easier. I used a measuring cup of water to assure myself that they held the same amount as they were when they were round Pyrex. I use a paper towel between the glass containers.

I am sending them back because they are not as big as I thought. The dimensions on the description are for the outside dimensions, not the inside, so they are a lot smaller than I need. The description says that they are deep in their eyes, but I don't think so. The size is not the main problem. These are not as deep as a cookie tray. They should be called deep trays. I hope this will help you not make the same mistake.

👤These canisters are wonderful. I ordered a second set the day after I received them, because they are so amazing. I had a set of Oggi canisters that I purchased last year but couldn't find the same ones, so I tried them out. The quality is the same. The sizes are large enough to hold a variety of foods. I keep tea bags fresh, flour, baking mix, brown/confectioners/regular sugar, jelly beans, flax meal, almond meal, and so far everything has held up really well. They are built to last. They are made from acrylic. I'm going to spend more. I'm sure I'll find use for the rest of the set, even though I still need one for my rice and chocolates. I bought a set of easy peel chalkboard stickers to label these and placed them on rustic looking shelves, so they're a statement piece as well.

👤The canister set is very nice. I have a problem with ants and need to put in a lot of containers. The canisters are great, but if you talk to the maker, they would be more helpful. I have a box of breakfast cereals which I would like to put in the largest container, which is 65 ounces. I would need at least two canisters to hold all the cereals. A 65 ounce bit of gold would be lost in any of the canisters. Please give the dimensions in cups. The canisters should be air tight and the contents should be the best for them. Soft items are crisp and there are no bugs. Being able to see the contents is nice.

👤The containers were stuck together. They are difficult to separate from. The trick was to put the containers in the freezer for a few minutes and then separate them. Cheers!

👤I received them yesterday. After trying to get them apart. I washed and dried them. I use them to store flour. I needed more storage for my bread flour and whole wheat flour. The perfect size is these. I wanted something with more storage capacity because they are too large for my baking cabinet. The bread flour has a 5# bag in it and the whole wheat is almost all a 10# bag. I like the little stickers on the container. I won't be using them for liquids if they are leak proof. I can't ever have enough of the additional measuring cups. The lids are very tight and seem to be good for flour.

👤A bag of sugar was not found the other day. They only had a 25lb bag and it was a great price. Something to hold it in. These are great! They have great lids with four snap clasps which hold them firmly in place. Recommended!

I was ready to give up and return them after spending over two hours trying different methods, including ice water and a hair dryer, air duster and air compressor. I was going to write a negative review about this, but I noticed a different method in someone's review. I emptied a quarter of my freezer to make room for the containers. I looked after 10 minutes. Nothing. I checked after 20 minutes. There is still nothing. I kept them under running hot water for at least 5 minutes after getting them in the sink. I was able to separate them. Even though I will use the containers and they will most likely serve me well, I wasted over two hours of my time fixing a problem that shouldn't exist and spent $13 on something else. Chief's Path did nothing to address the issue that customers were complaining about. They only had to use a sheet of paper to separate the containers. This shows disrespect for other people. Next time, I'll shop somewhere else.

👤I have canisters to keep my sugar from getting hard. I used one for light brown and one for dark brown. They are perfect. I ordered another set of flour and sugar. I've been trying to organize my kitchen during the Pandemic and these have worked out perfectly. I love them!

👤These extra tall containers replaced the Oxo containers. The Oxo's lids break after multiple uses. The containers have a secure top. The measuring cups that came with the labels were an added bonus. The value is great.

👤I would give this a zero rating. They had more good reviews than bad. I should have listened to the reviewers that were bad. I was excited to use these after cleaning my pantry. These are all small containers. There is a photo of Pasta in ContatIner. I don't know how to get the lid on without breaking the pasta. I'm out $45 because they can't be returned. They smell and are hard to close. I think that's the reason they have a no return policy. My husband told me to make sure that I return it before I buy it. You can get some from the dollar store for less.

There is a place on the home page of the company to send messages. They welcome your comments and their contact info is right there, no digging through pages or searching for it. Many companies could learn from their customer service. I highly recommend their products.

👤I used different sizes of boxes for my cereals. The first photo is a regular box of cereals. This filled up half of a container. The Rice Krispies and Corn Flakes are large. The containers did not fit all the cereals from a box of Rice Krispies, there was only one cup left over. The box of Special K was larger than the one of the family size. This fit right. I own one of those large boxes of frosted flakes that come with two large bags of cereals. The container has one of those bags in it. The final verdict was that these will fit regular and large sized cereals, but not family sized. If you're going to eat one bowl of cereals after you open it, it could fit in a family box.

They come in a variety of sizes to hold different items. Chef's Paths customer service is what sets these apart from other containers. Most companies only care about a sale and this type of customer service is rare nowadays. 👤It's true... containers make your counter look nicer or less cluttered. The best thing about them is that they make it easier to keep the stuff you paid good money for. One could put a clip on the bag and roll it up, but no one had time to do that. Simple and easy is what we want. We want to get what we want out of the container and eat it. We don't want to use both hands because it's too much work for most children and lazy people and we don't want to do anything that's going to use both hands. These containers solve the issue better than any I've found before. You can open and close this container with one finger. I swear! I can open it, scoop out what I need, and then seal it with one finger. I don't know of another container that is as simple as these. Is it a little pricey? One might say that, but will these actually do what they should and stop things from going bad better than other containers? I say yes. If you can save money over the long run, that's a good thing. I've had containers with 4 clips on them and others that didn't work out because the lid wouldn't open properly. After a couple weeks using these wonderful containers, the lids have always been put back on correctly. It's amazing! Would I recommend these? I would. I have had several times. These are a great purchase. I filled these with water and held them upside down, and there was no drop. They are water tight.

👤They are a great size for sitting on the counter top and I loved the bamboo base that came with the jars to sit on. It looks great with the Jars sitting on my counter top, but I didn't realize that was going to come with. It's a good thing. I only gave 4 stars because the bamboo lids should be hand washed to prolong their life, but they are not really needed to be cleaned all that much.

👤I bought these dishes a few months ago and have used them a few times. I store my stuff in a drawer with other glass containers that don't have a problem, because I wash in the dishwasher. Every single dish in this collection has chips and cracks on the sides and bottom, and one has a serious crack in the bottom. Very dangerous! I think they are made with substandard components. Don't buy! We are past our return date or I would return them as defects, but just started noticing all the chips and cracks about two weeks ago.

👤The rubber seal on the top of the tupperware pieces has fallen off and I have had to replace it. I don't think this has been mentioned in the reviews. The manufacturer says the gaskets are replaceable. I think this is not a defect, but I will re attach these rubber bands whenever I want to use them. Will let you know how this works out after updating this review. I thought this was as big as an issue. I use these containers a lot.

👤The first one I opened, the seal fell out and the side clip fell off. It's not air proof so don't use them to store anything in your freezer. I have similar ones and they are freezer burn safe, they do not have a rubber seal, and the clips on the side do not fall like these do, but I think they have the potential of being good. I have cancer and can't use plastic containers, so I need a glass container. I know my plastic ones are better than the rubber ones and are less expensive.

I won't buy anything except the glass containers with the real hinges and the toothpaste cap hinges that will likely snap off after a while, leaving you with a perfectly intact, useless glass bottom. The color of the hinge tabs is like a light charcoal grey, so it's not for anyone who isn't sure. Not black. The only beef I have with these is that they aren't that clean looking, crystal clear type lid. It is almost like a semi-opaque look to it, in comparison to the crystal clear clean look of their glass bases. I have some other containers that have crystal clear lids, so I'm not sure if I will keep or return them. The crystal clear lids make my food look more appetizing.

👤Half of the bowls are what is expected, correct bowls, Pyrex brand, and lids fit. The large bowl has a different shape and design, but it is Pyrex brand and has a lid that fits. The lipped edge of the remaining bowls makes them not fit in the container. The bowls are not stamped with Pyrex. I don't have a lid (light green size). Is it fake products? Not happy.

👤The old Pyrex was amazing. The new pyrex is terrible. It doesn't do well with temperature changes and is now made of Soda Lime glass. It gives you a million tiny cuts when it shatters. If possible, 0 stars.

I put my Pyrex in a single cabinet with the lid on the side. My previous Pyrex and this set are not compatible. The new set's lid won't fit on all of my bowls and that's something. They were married 5 years ago and don't think they have changed much, but they are suspect if these are authentic or not.

👤I have been a Pyrex consumer for a long time. I use glass for storage. Whenever possible, I buy products made in the US. Pyrex is made in the USA and I feel safe with it. I have over 40 glass storage containers, 4 mixing bowls, and multiple Pyrex baking dishes that have been stamped with the words "made in the USA" on the bottom. I noticed that the stamped on the bottom was "Made in Egypt". I discovered that they are manufacturing some of their products in Egypt and Turkey after looking at their website. The website says it is made in the USA. I think they get away with it since the lids are still made here. One of the few companies who actually manufacture here are outsourcing, so we need to bring manufacturing back to our country. I really like Pyrex products. I am returning the bowls and will be looking for products made in the USA.

👤The lids are not microwave-safe. The small lid "drooped" into the bowl and took a set after a few uses. It's a 1/3-inch high dome and no longer fits on the bowl.

👤These canisters were cute and affordable and I liked the sizes they came in. I was excited to see all my stuff on my kitchen counter. Imagine my disappointment when I receive one of the canisters. We didn't slam it down or anything like that because it was only half filled with gummy bears. We saw the cracks all along the bottom, as shown in the pictures. I found that the sugar from the gummy bears had acted like acid when I tried to clean the canister, and there were dark marks on the sides and bottom. The marks were different from the original material. These marks were left by gummy bears that took off the coating of the canister. I was very disappointed with this product. I was hoping for better, but it seems that it's just cheap material that doesn't last. I will update this review if I hear back from the company that I may have just received a faulty set. I would like to say I had a good experience.

👤I think I got this set in the used section. A lot of quick returns. The weight, price, and appearance of these are nice. I didn't like the idea of glass canisters filled with flour and such since I am above eye level. Too heavy. I would probably have something broken by the end of the year. The final touch to my pantry renovation.

I give the item five stars if the product works as intended, doesn't have any defects or flaws, and is priced fairly. I use these for a variety of things. They sit out on the counter most of the time. They are in excellent working condition. I don't know if the seal is tight, but we have not had any problems with ants getting into the sugar. This isn't going to prevent brown sugar from getting hard, but it will delay the process more than keeping it in an open bag. It would be nice if the scoops were labeled as to how big they are, but that's my only complaint so far.

👤The smaller ones cracked down the side from top to bottom. They were not used in any way. I don't think anyone should buy any of these. Chocolate will stain the thin, After a few weeks of using them, they turn opaque and no amount of washing will clear them to their original clarity.

👤The 5 pack set was purchased by me. The canisters look great. I was going to store my coffee grounds in this item. We use different brands and strengths at our house. The smallest size is 22oz. I assumed the bag of coffee grounds would have enough room. Quite the opposite. I was able to add the bag to the container, but I was not able to open it and add it to the cup. It comes with 2 of them. This size fit a bag of coffee grounds. My coffee grounds are held in the 51 oz and the 65 oz. The listing of the oz on here are exactly what I anticipated, but it works for me in the end with a little bit of an adjustment. I am happy. I would buy 3 of the 26oz and one of the 51oz if I had seen a review before.

👤I needed a new mixing bowl so I ordered these bowls. The bowls are smooth. Great for serving food. You can put a lid on them when they're finished. The seal is pretty good. I don't want to risk a mess so I haven't gone all out on testing. Bad news. The bowls are not really mixing. The biggest bowl isn't big enough to mix things. I made a mess when I tried to bake pizza, brownies, and cookies because the biggest bowl was too small. I'm just a single person and I cook for one. The lid will come off when you put them in the freezer. They still work well as serving bowls. I was disappointed that I wasn't big enough for decent mixing.

👤I found these mixing bowls on Amazon. These are amazing. I can mix and store items and they come with lids. I love them. I am a little health conscious and I prefer steel over plastic because they don't work in microwaves. The bowls seem to be the answer to both. Since receiving them, I have been using them for a lot of different things, like mixing flour for tortillas, storing cupcakes, and even heating up stuff.

👤The bowls are very convenient. These are used for my side dishes when I serve dinner to my family. We just have to put it in the fridge and slip it on the lid. When I am ready to warm it up, I just need to pop it in the microwave, there is an opening on the top that you can open to let the steam out, which prevents the lid from popping off the bowl. The lid opening has a dial on it, but I'm not sure why. The smallest bowl is great for my toddler. When he doesn't finish his food, I can put it on the lid and keep it for him to eat later. I think this is great for busy mothers.
