Best Baking Containers Storage Set Glass

👤I am the queen of organization. Everything in my home is in a containment unit. I like baskets, jars, etc. I needed some new jars to store my spices and herbs. The glass and the lids are both excellent. They had a sheet of blanks that you could use to write on yourself. I would definitely recommend them. They would make a great gift.

👤I was excited when I found these, they were the perfect way to store my tea leaves. I put them in the dishwasher because the paperwork said not to, but I am lazy and don't like to hand wash stuff. The seal is very strong. I ordered another set because I love them so much.

👤I just took these out of the box and am giving my initial review. I haven't used them yet so I have nothing to say. There is a lack of consistency with the product. There was a human error on my end. When I ordered the set, I thought it was the same product in different set sizes, but it was actually just slightly different because of the bamboo and wood lid. It's not a big deal because I wanted all wood. I would not have made this mistake if the company had all set options for both styles of lids. I wanted a variety of sizes, I shouldn't have to sacrifice style just so I can have variety, especially if the product is clearly available. The jars with bamboo lids have a larger circumference than the ones with the same sized jars. If I just ordered more wood lids, they would be too small. One of the jars with a wood lid was a little taller than the others, but still smaller than the bamboo lidded jars. I plan on reporting the jar with a warped bottom to the seller. It doesn't sit straight. It's still 4-stars, I'm being nitpicky, which is why it's not a huge deal. I'm not a bamboo kinda gal, but the product still looks nice. I'm sad about that. They immediately replaced my wobbly jar. Thank you! The inconstancy still makes it difficult to keep at 4 stars. *

👤I wanted to be a bit more eco-friendly in my purchases and so I bought these to store my loose leaf teas. These are not double lid/sealed as most recommended tea canisters are, but they get the job done. My tea leaves are still fresh and I have been using them for a few months. I didn't feel like I would break the glass when handling it. I washed them and wiped them down with a damp cloth before I let them sit to make sure there was no residual water. The glass is clear and the lids fit perfectly. I will definitely be checking out the additional Urban Green products that came with the package.

👤The jars were shown with fruit and spaghetti noodles added to them. The glass is thin but not rough. I love the bamboo lid. I will probably purchase more jars if the jars are fresh. I use mason jars as storage containers, but they have a nicer look. The mason jars are upscale. :D

👤These are nice containers, I needed a sturdy one for flour, sugar, and cereals. I like how clear they are. These are the perfect size to fit my cupboard. I love that they are free of the harmful chemical. It is not cheap and is a very solid plastic. The labels can be changed. The packaging is very efficient.

👤Like the ease of organization with these containers, but they are not clear like glass. There is a slight frost tint to the containers. Didn't like it. I used my cricut Machine to make labels for each container.

👤I use a lot of different flours to bake and I was looking for some food storage containers to organize all the floors and keep them labeled easily. These are the right size to keep my flours looking good. I can easily write the names of my flours on the blackboard with the included chalk marker.

👤There are two sets of product dimensions. I was hoping for the larger size in order to get the most storage for my 9H cabinet. The dimensions of a container with a lid at the largest point are 6 feet by 6 feet. Quality seems to be ok. I need the most storage I can get for my 8.75"H cabinet. Returning.

👤These were going to be bigger than they were. I started labeling them after trying them out. The stickers are easy to apply, but the white pen smudged and it took me a few times to get it right. The label is small. You have to write small. If you are looking for a smaller container, these would work.

The glass canisters are exactly what I wanted. The chalk area can be changed for whatever you need it to be. The plastic seal helps keep the air out.

👤Be careful and check your jars. The glass is very thin. My daughter cut her hand when she reached for a cookie. We did not hit this. She heard a crack when she took the top, but she didn't know what it was. She cut her hand and not her mouth or throat because she didn't know glass was broken. Don't ever buy.

👤These glass containers hold a lot. I don't put the labels on them yet because I use them mostly. They had a cute black label and chalk sticks. They are a little bit larger than I had thought. They all closed their mouths. The biggest one I have noticed is that the lid will wiggle out if I use the blender or something on the same counter, but it is an easy fix.

👤Our dog treats work great for our foster dogs. The treats are very easy to dry out. The containers are sealed so well that they keep the treats fresh. Keeping soft and fresh treats is important for some of our fosters. We've dropped it a few times and it hasn't cracked yet. Very sturdy. Also mention that they are cute. I think I'm going to order a new set of kitchen items.

👤I can see how some people would have thought they were larger, but they are the perfect size for what I needed. The large jar holds 52 small cookies, the medium jar holds about a bag of Hershey Kisses and the small jar holds a bag of peanut M&Ms. The seals on the lids were bent out when I got them. After bending them back into place, I spent some time in the closed jars to see if they were bending back correctly.

👤I thought the seals on the lids would be rubber, just like any other container. They are a thin plastic seal, not sure how it will hold up over time. I might return these jars. The jars themselves have stickers on them.

He didn't have to do what he did and the product damage was not his fault, so I needed to update my review. I wish more people like you cared about how people felt. It's a waste of money. The jar does not fit on the lid. If I had it my way, I would have chosen any.

👤We have two sets. The material is so thin that it can crack easily over time, which makes it less effective as a container. The seller's return policy points to the Amazon Return Policy, which in turn points to the seller's return policy. Ah, the runaround. Made by Perella's, it was fulfilled by Amazon. Buy something made by someone else and sell it to someone else.

👤I was impressed when I took the cannisters out of the box. They are modern and clean. It's not practical. The rubber gasket around the top is not good for cooking or baking. I knew these were going to make the kitchen less fun to be in. You get what you pay for. It's my fault. I should have paid more attention to the description. These are going back.

👤This was advertised for storage of flour and sugar. One would think that one or both of the larger containers would hold a five pound bag of sugar or flour. It's not true. This is the best way to store a bag. If you really want to store a full bag of sugar or flour, look elsewhere. Online shopping is bad here.

👤These canisters are wonderful. I ordered a second set the day after I received them, because they are so amazing. I had a set of Oggi canisters that I purchased last year but couldn't find the same ones, so I tried them out. The quality is the same. The sizes are large enough to hold a variety of foods. I keep tea bags fresh, flour, baking mix, brown/confectioners/regular sugar, jelly beans, flax meal, almond meal, and so far everything has held up really well. They are built to last. They are made from acrylic. I'm going to spend more. I'm sure I'll find use for the rest of the set, even though I still need one for my rice and chocolates. I bought a set of easy peel chalkboard stickers to label these and placed them on rustic looking shelves, so they're a statement piece as well.

👤The canister set is very nice. I have a problem with ants and need to put in a lot of containers. The canisters are great, but if you talk to the maker, they would be more helpful. I have a box of breakfast cereals which I would like to put in the largest container, which is 65 ounces. I would need at least two canisters to hold all the cereals. A 65 ounce bit of gold would be lost in any of the canisters. Please give the dimensions in cups. The canisters should be air tight and the contents should be the best for them. Soft items are crisp and there are no bugs. Being able to see the contents is nice.

👤I love these containers. They aren't tall enough to fit spaghetti noodles, so they were broken and/or not good enough. I knew I was taking a risk. I was relieved to see they had arrived in tact, packed snug into styrofoam and large enough to fit spaghetti with the lid closed. I would order again.

A customer service representative from light rail contacted me after I posted a one star review and asked if they could send a new jar set. The jars are beautiful to store pantry foods in. I want to buy more.

I filled the jar with powdered sugar because it took so much force for him to open it. Multiple attempts would be made to press the lid down before it stayed put. 👤I decided to put everything in glass containers after I got pantry moths from a bag of nuts. I compared different brands and found these. I decided to try them. I am glad I did. This product is well made, has thick glass, and is very well packaged. You can see how tight it is by looking at the lid. I tested it with liquid and it did not leak. I bought 2 more sets and plan to buy more.

👤I love them. They are very strong and safe. I am not disappointed that those things were important to me. I took a picture of them empty with a salad dressing bottle. 👤I own several glass jars that are hard to break. These jars are made of very thin glass and are easy to break. One glass jar has broken while being washed. I don't know how these jars would hold up at canning temperatures. I would return if I could, but one is broken.

👤The jars were easy to clean with large openings. There is a The wire closing tab is a CON. It will slam into the glass when it snaps shut. It hurts like the dickens when you catch your finger protecting the glass. It could cause the glass to shatter if I let it slam shut repeatedly. This has not happened yet, but it does worry me. Our plastic set has a metal tab that is half an inch away from the container. It is very easy to close and open. This glass set should have the same. The Macgyver option is being investigated to remedy this.

👤These were necessary for organizing our pantry. The jars were well packaged and secured. The quality of the jars is good and they seal well. The glass is thick and easy to break. I ordered the tall and short sets to take advantage of our space. I would like the larger size to fit spaghetti. I broke mine in half before putting it in the jar. The larger size doesn't fit the entire package of flour or sugar. I ordered more to accommodate the overflow. This is the only reason I have a 4 star rating. I have already ordered more to expand the pantry because I like the quality of this set. Make sure you wash them out before using them.

👤If you remove the grommet, they are dishwasher save. I have a five year old who swept them off the counter to play with his hot wheels, and they bounced on the hardwood floor, without a break, not even cracked. To say the least, I was impressed. Will be ordering more soon.

These containers are easy to break. I broke two when I got them out of the box. Two of the containers broke when I put them down. You can't stack them because they will stick together. 👤I have been using these containers for almost a year. They are the perfect size for packing lunches. I haven't had an issue with the divider yet. I use a container or cup to separate small things or remove them before I cook the whole container. It's safe, but I still wash the lids. I've had Pyrex lids degrade due to the dishwasher, so I'm playing it safe with these. I have never had a problem with the rubber gasket around the lip of the lid. It's a nice hollow rubber ring that the rim of the glass pushes into and it snaps on, so it seals really well. There are no leaks yet. The gasket is easy to clean. They're pricey on the front end, but they're worth it. I cut it in half because it was too narrow to fit a whole sandwich.

I have 5 tall ones. I have an egg/veggie casserole and 2 links of sausage for breakfast and a full plate of food for lunch. It's a tighter fit but def works without leaks. I have other people with pasta salad and shredded chicken. There is room to spare. My salmon lunch did great in the oven even though it was full, and they do great in the microwave. They snap closed easily and open easily. I like them. I know they will hold up for a long time and make my life easier.

👤This is a 5* value by any measure. Absolutely, a solid product in initial quality. I'm not sure who wrote the product descriptions because the box dimensions are 9.2 x 8.2 x 5.7 inches. There is no mention of the actual size of each container in the ad. The pictures in the lifestyle section are nondescript. The bottom of the containers is 4x6 and the top of the lid is about 6x8 for those who are curious and trying to match a container with a storage area. I thought I was buying a container that would fit in my cooler. I did not.

👤I am replacing my storage containers with these. I can't say enough good things about this product. These containers can be used for dishwasher to freezer storage. I started with a sample set to see if they would stain or bubble up in the microwave as I cook a lot of red sauce pasta and barbecue. They have passed every test with flying colors. You can go from dishwasher to microwave and freezer. These have not been stained, bubbled or washed with a dishwasher. It doesn't make a difference because they clean up great. I now send all my containers with my family. My family thought I was joking when I said I needed a deposit to get one of these containers out of my house. I wish I would have bought these sooner. The best storage container I have ever used. I love them!

👤I have had these for a little over a year and they still look new. They are the best. It's worth it, but cost more. The rubber seal is very tough. They are washed in the dishwasher. They are good in the microwave. And freezer too. There is leak proof and hold in odors. When I opened the fridge, it smelled bad. I cleaned it in the dishwasher. The odor doesn't enter the plastic. I would spend more to get these, instead of the cheaper ones I used to get. Not having to throw away ruined food saver saved money.

👤If you want to microwave, just flip the tabs up to open the vent and nuke it for a couple of minutes, it will be hot with no splatters or melted plastic. I had doubts about using the smallest size but found it to be more useful than I thought. They stack well in the fridge or cabinet. It's plastic so only use the top shelf if you want to use the dishwasher safe. It's plastic and if it's dropped or squeezed it will leak around the edges. It's spill proof and will hold liquid without leaking, so it's not a big deal for me. As long as it's not squeezed. It is stain proof, but it will stain. It picks up odors just like plastic ware. Baking soda can be used for stain and odor removal and can be soaked in a solution of vinegar and water overnight. The product is more versatile than ordinary plastic containers, and I like it.

👤The biggest flaw so far is that the rubber seal comes out of the lid every time you take it off. The product is good for the price.

👤In a household of two adults, no children, seven of the glass edges splintered in one month, despite storing them carefully. It was necessary to be very careful that splinters didn't get mixed with the food being stored. The quality or thickness of glass may be the reason for splintering. The container had to be cut open with a knife to release it from the seal. See the picture. Unfortunately, they're all going in the trash because they're too dangerous to give away.
