Best Baking Containers Storage Set with Scoop

👤We have two sets. The material is so thin that it can crack easily over time, which makes it less effective as a container. The seller's return policy points to the Amazon Return Policy, which in turn points to the seller's return policy. Ah, the runaround. Made by Perella's, it was fulfilled by Amazon. Buy something made by someone else and sell it to someone else.

👤I couldn't depict all the ants that I found in my sugar, but I hope you trust me when I say it's not worth it. This happened after two days of use, and I am back to my regular bags.

👤I was impressed when I took the cannisters out of the box. They are modern and clean. It's not practical. The rubber gasket around the top is not good for cooking or baking. I knew these were going to make the kitchen less fun to be in. You get what you pay for. It's my fault. I should have paid more attention to the description. These are going back.

👤This was advertised for storage of flour and sugar. One would think that one or both of the larger containers would hold a five pound bag of sugar or flour. It's not true. This is the best way to store a bag. If you really want to store a full bag of sugar or flour, look elsewhere. Online shopping is bad here.

👤These canisters are wonderful. I ordered a second set the day after I received them, because they are so amazing. I had a set of Oggi canisters that I purchased last year but couldn't find the same ones, so I tried them out. The quality is the same. The sizes are large enough to hold a variety of foods. I keep tea bags fresh, flour, baking mix, brown/confectioners/regular sugar, jelly beans, flax meal, almond meal, and so far everything has held up really well. They are built to last. They are made from acrylic. I'm going to spend more. I'm sure I'll find use for the rest of the set, even though I still need one for my rice and chocolates. I bought a set of easy peel chalkboard stickers to label these and placed them on rustic looking shelves, so they're a statement piece as well.

👤The canister set is very nice. I have a problem with ants and need to put in a lot of containers. The canisters are great, but if you talk to the maker, they would be more helpful. I have a box of breakfast cereals which I would like to put in the largest container, which is 65 ounces. I would need at least two canisters to hold all the cereals. A 65 ounce bit of gold would be lost in any of the canisters. Please give the dimensions in cups. The canisters should be air tight and the contents should be the best for them. Soft items are crisp and there are no bugs. Being able to see the contents is nice.

👤I love these containers. They aren't tall enough to fit spaghetti noodles, so they were broken and/or not good enough. I knew I was taking a risk. I was relieved to see they had arrived in tact, packed snug into styrofoam and large enough to fit spaghetti with the lid closed. I would order again.

A customer service representative from light rail contacted me after I posted a one star review and asked if they could send a new jar set. The jars are beautiful to store pantry foods in. I want to buy more.

👤The jars and lids are quite nice. I was disappointed that the tall one did not fit dry spaghetti noodles, since it was the main reason I bought it. Someone said that they fit in the question and answer section. You can't put the lid on the jar because it's too tall. I had to return them. It's a shame.

👤I bought these a little over five months ago and am still happy with them. I was a bit hesitant when ordering because there weren't a lot of reviews. They arrived undamaged and seemed to have been packaged with care. I made sure to be careful while washing the glass because it is not thick. The bamboo lids are light in weight and feel solid. I hear the pressure when I push the lid down. The larger jar is perfect for angel-hair pasta and the smaller jar is perfect for nuts. I left them on the counter because they look so great. I will be buying again the next time I need more.

They are professional, reply promptly and resolve the issue to your satisfaction. Joy, their customer service representative, was very professional and easy to deal with. She kept in touch with me until my needs were met. It's rare to find such good service today, so this company is a keeper for me. The glass jars are modern in design and look great wherever displayed.

👤Customer service is fast and friendly. The first set I received had a few lids that didn't fit right. My boyfriend had to open the lid to get me. I filled the jar with powdered sugar because it took so much force for him to open it. Multiple attempts would be made to press the lid down before it stayed put. I contacted the company about the issues I was having and sent a new set. Each one works well. They look great on my counter. Would definitely recommend!

👤If you are David Blaine, you should only buy this Pyrex set. I tried to microwave something at room temperature for 60 seconds, but the container shattered into a million pieces over the microwave. The containers are labeled as oven and microwave safe. I have microwaved other Pyrex containers and they have not had any issues, but this one blew up catistrophicaly on the very first use. I enjoy the set and look of the product, but I cannot stress enough that it was inadvertently explored in my microwave!

👤I would like to thank Amazon customer support for their assistance in the matter, they were completely satisfied with their solution. Highly disappointed in the product. I have been using glass pyrex for over 15 years. There were no complaints until 4/6/18. Less than 3 months after receiving this set, one of the glass bowls exploded in my microwave. The food was reheated. This Pyrex set was very disappointing.

👤The bowls are chipping after a few months of use. The manufacturer didn't seem to care about this issue after I contacted them. There was no concern about the potential for glass to be in food. That is completely unacceptable. Before buying a glass bowl, make sure to check out the other glass bowl manufacturers.

👤The glass shattered as soup poured out of the microwave onto the stove. It seemed to have moved around the soup line. It seems that other reviewers have had the same problem. I bought it because of the Pyrex name, hoping that they would last a long time. I wouldn't recommend them. It's better to buy a set that won't break.

👤I love these so much. I trashed all of them and bought glass because plastic Tupperware is a nightmare to clean. The food moves quickly. If you're complaining that your dishes have exploded in the microwave, I'd bet you're making the mistake of nuking leftovers straight from the fridge. When a glass dish goes from cold to hot too quickly, it will shatter or explode. My recommendation is either 1. Before you put the dish in the microwave, make sure it is sitting on the counter for a few minutes. The food should be in a dish that is not cold from the fridge. I will never microwave my new glassware or put it in the dishwasher, as this is a lovely set and I want to preserve it as long as possible. It takes a few seconds to clean them.

👤I was misled over the sizes. The taller containers were made to appear taller by the pictures. The ounces on 5 out of 7 containers are less tan than what is stated on the box. I feel cheated.

👤The containers are tiny even though the display makes the illusion they are useful size for holding food. The size on the advertisement leads one to believe they are large. There are no 12.2 inch containers. The dimensions of the box hold the containers. A q-tip, silverware, a paper plate, and a box of cereals are all pretty useless for storage. They were cheap and a misrepresentation. The plastic brand lock and lock has a capacity of 20 fluid ounces.

👤I have a baking cabinet that I love to use. I don't put my baking supplies in my pantry, so the size of the containers I need matter. These are the perfect size for the small packages that take up a lot of space in the cupboard, I always have a lot of those from the raisins, poppy seeds, specialty sugars, leftover nuts, cranberries, etc. I bought larger containers for flours and sugars, but they didn't fit in my cupboard because they were side by side. I needed the smaller ones for my small baking items because they took up too much room. I wish I had a picture of my baking cabinet, it looks a lot more put together than it did before. I didn't take into account the fact that the top of the lid is wider than the bottom of the container when looking for storage containers. I was not able to put the larger and medium containers two deep, and that made me want to put them in these containers, which now allow me to stack depth wise with my other containers. The medium containers wouldn't fit with the larger ones for my pantry items. Win! I ordered another set of containers because I still have items that need to be in containers to keep their freshness longer. I put these in the dishwasher the day I received them, and they did great. I didn't use them in the fridge, freezer, or microwave. I can't comment on that. I bought them for dry goods and am very happy.

👤The set of 7 containers is a good value for those who want to store small quantities of specialty baking items. The seven containers have all seven of the lids on them. This was important to me, and it's part of what I find most useful about this set. All of the same size, the lids are about the size of an old-fashioned index card. The clips make the dimensions seem bigger, and these will take up more cabinet space due to the sturdy, but bulky, clips. These clips make it easy to open them even for people with arthritis in their hands or fingers. Some of the plastic containers' lids are difficult to open. The tallest canister is a good size for specialty flour, like those by Bob's Red Mill, or a bag of coconut flakes or powdered sugar. This is a 1 pound bag, not the full size multi-pound bag that many Americans buy white/wheat flour or sugar in. The half height canister held my baking soda. It is very similar to the Arm & Hammer box. Cocoa powder could fit in this size. The boxes are small. I often have small quantities of specialty flours in my fridge and open pantry. The pile of tea bags is longer than the smallest one, which is about the height of four or five stacked tea bags. I had a bag of chocolate chips. One of the smallest containers was where that went. I'm including a photo that shows that one next to a standard coffee mug; it's about half as tall as the mug.

👤I read an article about a popular infant sippy cup that had been found to contain lead paint before receiving these jars. I decided to check the paint on the jars for lead. The paint on the jars tested positive for lead. The test swab and paint turned red when they were tested, indicating the presence of lead. I am shocked that the paint on the jars is lead-free, since they told me that when I contacted them. This is a lie. The lead paint is on the outside of the jars, so it doesn't come into direct contact with the food inside, but my baby and most babies want to put anything and everything in her mouth, so it's very likely she would chew on the lead paint. I am angry that Wee Sprout would use lead paint on their jars, but then lie to consumers about it. I will be contacting the manufacturer to return the jars.

👤Wee Sprout went above and beyond to provide great customer service after my review. I was unhappy with the original product, but they reached out to me and gave me a new one. They provided a new set of jars and sent new products with a handwritten note. It is refreshing to use a product from a company that cares. I think it is important for parents to hear of any dangerous incidents regarding products for their kids so I will keep the original 1-star review posted. I bought the glass jars without hesitation after reading the reviews. They are supposed to be microwaveable but I heard a crack sound in the microwave. The jar was intact. I began stirring the purée, but the bottom part of the jar fell off, causing food to splatter everywhere. Everywhere. There were glass shards on the floor. This was not fun to clean up. I only had these jars for a couple of months. I hope the rest hold up better.

👤This is great! We were impressed when we opened the box. We can use the glass jars for other things. The colors are bright and easy to ignore when in the refridgerator. No losing it and having it ruin. We tend to do that a lot. I don't think dropping it will cause it to break because it's very thick and durable. They give a marker for writing on jars. Either the lid or the glass worked. They were tested out of the box. I smudged a letter to see how it came off. It didn't come off completely. It can be a good thing if I accidentally rub it in the fridge. I rubbed it off again after 15 minutes and it didn't smudge. I ran it under the water. But there was still something left. I had to scrub a bit. I was able to tell where I had written, but I don't think anyone else would. It's easy to open and close. It was easy to clean up. We will either gift them out or continue to use them once we are done with baby food. These would be perfect for making sauces and dips at home. I would recommend them.

👤A little smaller than expected, but cute and functional. The salt shaker was used to reference the actual size. The small canister held the full bag of sugar but the medium one held the powered bag.

👤These are perfect for me. The size is nice and not large. I keep snacks handy on the counter so I don't have to open a package. It's handy to have chalkboard labels. I had goldfish crackers for several weeks and they were still fresh. These glass canisters are great. They hold a lot but don't take up much space on my counter. The glass canisters are exactly what I wanted. The chalk area can be changed for whatever you need it to be. The plastic seal helps keep the air out.

👤Be careful and check your jars. The glass is very thin. My daughter cut her hand when she reached for a cookie. We did not hit this. She heard a crack when she took the top, but she didn't know what it was. She cut her hand and not her mouth or throat because she didn't know glass was broken. Don't ever buy.

👤These glass containers hold a lot. I don't put the labels on them yet because I use them mostly. They had a cute black label and chalk sticks. They are a little bit larger than I had thought. They all closed their mouths. The biggest one I have noticed is that the lid will wiggle out if I use the blender or something on the same counter, but it is an easy fix.

I think I'm going to order a new set of kitchen items.

👤I can see how some people would have thought they were larger, but they are the perfect size for what I needed. The large jar holds 52 small cookies, the medium jar holds about a bag of Hershey Kisses and the small jar holds a bag of peanut M&Ms. The seals on the lids were bent out when I got them. After bending them back into place, I spent some time in the closed jars to see if they were bending back correctly.

👤I changed my review from 1 star to 2 because I decided to use them anyways, despite the flaws I listed below. I left them on my bathroom counter for a few days and they grew on me, so I glue the broken piece as best I could, and make them work. The original review was so disappointing. The lid broke out of the box, the canisters aren't the same roundness as the ones on the lid, and the gasket are warped so the lids don't close right, so there are gaps when you put the lid on. They are tiny. Since we just built a new bathroom with no drawers, I needed to keep feminine products on my bathroom counter. To see the small size of the roll of toilet paper, look at the picture next to them.

👤Huge disappointment! The canister and lid were broken. Styrofoam bits were everywhere in the packaging. I tried to get the replacement through 10 Strawberry Street, but never heard back from anyone, never got a hold of anyone, and never received a replacement. The color was exactly what I wanted and the canisters look nice on my counter. The sizes are too small to be a good match for flour. These are better for tea, small treats, and utensil holders.

They are broken. I wanted to see how I could get a replacement for the broken items. I did not need a new set. I have broken canisters. And that is all. 👤The lid is hard to open if your seal is not in as shown in the photo. I looked at my brown sugar container and the seal was the same as shown. It's a pointless size since powdered sugar comes in 2lb bags, however this does say it holds 1lb of powdered sugar. I use the container to store cocoa powder.

👤I use it for baby formula. The lid is closed tightly. It holds 400g, which is less than 1lb of powder, and you can add more, but you won't be able to use leveler. The snap on a lid is loud and heavy. If you don't hold it, the powder tips over.

👤I love the containers. Two complete sets and several individual ones have been purchased by me. They are clear plastic and easy to clean, so you can see what is inside. The tops are easy to stack. The tops are attached to the container so they don't get lost. They keep the food tight. White is pretty boring, and more size options would be nice as well. The Oxo push button top containers are hard to clean. The containers work better.

👤I have containers in different sizes. I know how to open them, but not this powdered sugar one. The lid is tight. I tried to pry it with a table knife, but it didn't work. I didn't want to ruin the lid. There is a container of powdered sugar that needs to be returned. There was a box with 7 or 8 other things in it. A box. I don't have a small box. What will you do about this? I am waiting for your reply. There were no papers in the box.

👤Excellent product. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond to pick up an extra storage container and the rubber rim on the ones I got from Progressive is more sturdy than the ones I picked up at Bed Bath. When you first get these, remove the paperwork, and pour some water in it. Close it and shake it around. Return water if it comes out. If water comes out of the container, bugs will find their way in. I only had it happen with the "Sugar Keeper" on Amazon. I had to return all of the Sugar Keepers because the seal wasn't working after water leaked out. Water poured out of the sides of the rubber seal when I purchased all of the same products at Bed Bath. The rubber is not as thick as the ones on Amazon.

👤I own 56 of these containers, so I won't leave a review on every purchase/size, but I hope this all-over review helps anyone looking at these for their purchases. Most people notice the first thing. The price. I'm not going to lie, these are crazy expensive. There's no doubt about it. If you build a full pantry of storage containers like I did, it's a good idea. Unless you are breaking them by tossing them on the ground or not taking precautions like you would with all glass items when moving, you will never have to replace them like you would plastic containers. If you don't have money burning a hole in your pocket or saved up for this, you can always buy them over time because the seller has quantity limits that don't allow you to buy crazy quantities too. Quality: Excellent. The glass is thick and the seal on the lid works well. I haven't had any issues with tearing or wearing down. I don't recommend putting the lids in the washer, but the bases can go in for the more difficult cleaning. It's nice that the brand is etched into the bottom of the containers, but it's something to consider if you don't like that sort of thing. Preparation is underway. I appreciated the fact that all of them came in boxes with forms in them to keep them in place so they wouldn't break in transit. There is also no candy. You know the sticker battles that can happen when you buy organizational containers. These don't come with sticker labels, that saves a lot of time. I searched for a long time to find containers that I would be happy with. The style of these containers was the reason I bought them. They are easy to clean, food safe and durable. There are clear bases, clear lids and clear seals. They will match the space every time, no matter where I live, how I display them or what I use them for. They look like they are more than just kitchen containers. - If you've made it this far, and you think these may be for you, I want to note a couple things from my buying experience. 1. Shipping was fast and efficient. The seller and I have no problems with each other. I have one left to deliver. The packaging is sturdy. I recycled all of my box because the pamphlet is not in English if you care about that. I tried to use the coupon code on the note, but it didn't work. It's not a big deal for me. 5. There are quantity limits for individual transactions. You may have to make multiple purchases depending on what size you're looking for. SIZING! 6. If you're anything like me, the size may make you confused. Don't trust the descriptions that go by fluid oz. The "ideal for" lists in the images are pretty accurate, but you really want to pay attention when buying these and if you're concerned, size up! These containers fit small amounts of tea. They are used for superfood powders. Less than 4oz of powder. The seal on all sizes goes down from the top of the base so it takes up a lot of space. I don't own the ones listed at 8oz, but I can't imagine what you'd store in them. 5oz of dry powder can fit in these, but I use them for super food powders. I use 23.6oz/700ml for grains, seeds,lentils,loose pasta. I wouldn't put anything that was heavy in these. The 10/15/23.6 oz containers have the same diameter and height. This is where the containers get shorter in height and wider in diameter. I use both of these for pastas and nuts that are not as large as giant packages. I can fit a bag of powder in the 27oz or a bag of nibs in the 37 with room. I don't try to store big bags of general flour in these containers as the mouths are narrow and may not fit a fill measuring cup for scooping, but I do store baking stuff like sugars/specialty flours in these just fine. The two largest sizes are the same size as the 27/37, but they are the tallest available containers. I've seen some reviews that are upset because of the tall pasta in the 55, you can't fit a box of spaghetti in the 55. I had 16oz of goji berries in the 55 with a little room. You're going to want to pay close attention to the size of what you're storing because bulky items don't store like powders that take up all of the space. The 65 is great for trail mixes and pastas. 👤The warranty is stated as "no questions asked" on the product page. They wouldn't give me a refund until they figured out why there was rusting and they made sure to emphasize that my review would be edited to a higher score. I was told that storing brown sugar may have caused the rusting. There are no warnings on the product page or in the packaging. I think the absence is to create the expectation that their STAINLESS STEEL is of high enough quality to resist rusting, even if it is used with completely ordinary food products. The customer service experience left a bad taste in my mouth. If they had offered a refund immediately with an apology and a notice that there are certain foods to avoid, I would have been more than happy to give them a good review and share my newfound knowledge. I regret buying one and two of these sets. I'll never do that again. The original review was not a good one. The price was so good that I bought 2 sets, but the brown sugar in a couple of canisters rusted after a couple of months. The company said they have a no questions asked 1 year warranty. If they honor their word, I'll update my score to another star because they are cheap, and if you don't plan on using them for food storage, it's still a good value. I scrubbed the rust as best I could. I didn't bother with the external rust.

👤The containers were rusty after only one wash. I washed the containers and dried them on a drying mat. I was excited to use my new containers when I got back to work in the kitchen. I was shocked to see that the locking mechanisms on the containers were rusty. They were dried by hand and air. The rest of the container has the same quality as it does. Do not waste your money. Don't buy these containers.

👤The canisters look the same as they were pictured. The cannisters are small, but that's the downside. I didn't know how small they would be. I was unable to fit a full bag of sugar or flour into the cannisters. They don't take up a lot of countertop space because they are smaller. I just have the extra flour and sugar in my pantry and can easily access them.

It's so easy to just lift the lid and spoon out my coffee, it's much easier than digging a spoon into the coffee bag. I've seen no sign of leaking or damp inside. You should buy them and display them on your counter.
