Best Baking Containers Storage

👤The containers were stuck together. They are difficult to separate from. The trick was to put the containers in the freezer for a few minutes and then separate them. Cheers!

👤I received them yesterday. After trying to get them apart. I washed and dried them. I use them to store flour. I needed more storage for my bread flour and whole wheat flour. The perfect size is these. I wanted something with more storage capacity because they are too large for my baking cabinet. The bread flour has a 5# bag in it and the whole wheat is almost all a 10# bag. I like the little stickers on the container. I won't be using them for liquids if they are leak proof. I can't ever have enough of the additional measuring cups. The lids are very tight and seem to be good for flour.

👤A bag of sugar was not found the other day. They only had a 25lb bag and it was a great price. Something to hold it in. These are great! They have great lids with four snap clasps which hold them firmly in place. Recommended!

👤I already had four large containers, so I got two more large to match. The other 4 containers were difficult to separate, but these 2 were almost impossible. I was ready to give up and return them after spending over two hours trying different methods, including ice water and a hair dryer, air duster and air compressor. I was going to write a negative review about this, but I noticed a different method in someone's review. I emptied a quarter of my freezer to make room for the containers. I looked after 10 minutes. Nothing. I checked after 20 minutes. There is still nothing. I kept them under running hot water for at least 5 minutes after getting them in the sink. I was able to separate them. Even though I will use the containers and they will most likely serve me well, I wasted over two hours of my time fixing a problem that shouldn't exist and spent $13 on something else. Chief's Path did nothing to address the issue that customers were complaining about. They only had to use a sheet of paper to separate the containers. This shows disrespect for other people. Next time, I'll shop somewhere else.

👤I have canisters to keep my sugar from getting hard. I used one for light brown and one for dark brown. They are perfect. I ordered another set of flour and sugar. I've been trying to organize my kitchen during the Pandemic and these have worked out perfectly. I love them!

👤These extra tall containers replaced the Oxo containers. The Oxo's lids break after multiple uses. The containers have a secure top. The measuring cups that came with the labels were an added bonus. The value is great.

👤I found these to be very difficult to organize and keep protected in my pantry, so I bought them. These hold the bags. I was concerned about the clips on the lid, but they are strong. There is a black seal in the lid. I will order more. The measuring cups that came with the set are adorable.

👤I bake a lot. Each weekend there are several different things. I bought a set of containers to organize my ingredients. The containers are nice, but not designed for regular use. The container for flour is designed for one bag of flour. It's inconvenient to re stock every couple of weeks.

👤I got a 16 cup size a year ago to store flour and it holds a 5 pound bag. I like the way the lid is used. Make sure to wipe the flour off the rim of the container and lid to ensure a good seal. I haven't seen any pests around the seal, so it appears to be doing its job. There is a bug that lives in flour and the first clue is holes in the top of the container. A friend of mine had bugs that came home from the store in a flour bag and it made me cringe, so I got this container. I found a bag of rice in my pantry and now I have Asian moths. It was like the moths were in my pantry overnight. I saw the tiny webs and holes in the bag of rice I got from the grocery store, and I noticed small holes in my cotton clothes, I believe the damage was caused by the moths. If you have the money, get the set and build on it as you please, or at least get these containers for your flour and rice and build from there, like I am doing. Check your bags of flour and rice and get them into heavy plastic containers with a quality seal as soon as possible. If there are bugs in the food, you can report them to your grocery store and they will be contained. I keep anything that could be contaminated in the freezer.

The Brilliance "food storage" and "pantry" items have some differences, for example the shape of the container is not tapered enough to allow for stacking, and the Brilliance "food storage" and "pantry" items are not stackable. I'm giving this just a few stars because it misses this capability. The pantry items will stack within the food storage items. Food storage containers come in three sizes. I bought this container because it's better suited for storing larger food items like pasta and meatballs. I love the Brilliance line because of its clean design, no food stains, no residual smells, and tight seal.

👤These are very strong. I buy flour and sugar in 25 lbs bags. I don't use as much brown sugar and powdered sugar as I used to. I'm still looking for a container that can hold 10 pounds of flour and sugar. I decided that the shape of the containers would work better in my pantry because I have been using round containers for the past 5 years. The 16 cup size holds a 5 pound bag of flour or sugar.

👤I found pantry moths a couple months ago. I was horrified to read how to get rid of them. They like grains and were told to keep them in air tight containers. I read a lot of reviews before making a decision. Chef's Path seems to be a small company with dedication to making great products and providing excellent customer service. The reviews of the products were good. I washed all the pieces by hand. I needed pantry moths gone and wasn't willing to risk it. I am sure the dishwasher would work. I put water in the container, put the lid on, and turned the container over to see if it leaked. There was no drop out of the container. I was very happy. My pantry is clean and organized, and my baking goods are safely stored. There are no sugar bags or flours. I would love to get more for pasta and crackers. I have 2 sets of the containers that I love. Highly recommend both products.

👤I couldn't let this one go by. I initially ordered the set of 2 extra large bins. I ordered 2 more identical sets because I was so impressed by the quality of these bins. There are so many things to say about them, but I will limit it to the top four. #1 They are easy to open and close and air and water tight. I tested them. There are two things. The measuring cups that come with each set are better than anything I've gotten from Kitchen Aid or Tupperware. They are great for keeping in the bins. #3 They are so cheap that I was able to reorganize my pantry. They are a steal compared to the garbage on the market. There are four They are made in America by a family owned company. The company cares about their customers more than they do their quality products. I had an issue with a bin from a different set. I received a new bin, an additional larger bin, and a set of spoons as a thank you. I could go on and on. If you purchase anything from Chef's Path, you'll never be sorry.

I was a bit worried that the big ones wouldn't fit as much flour and sugar as my old ones, but they fit more than I thought, and a whole package of flour or sugar would fit in these. I like how they stack and organize everything. The chalk pen on the labels is an extra nice touch. I would recommend these and buy them again.

👤These aren't worth much, they are like snap fit containers, and there aren't many cons. They leave a lot of space for little things like seasoning envelopes, but you will get a very cluttered look, if you are physically impaired, as it makes taking the thing off the shelf very easy. I like that you can put the label where you want, they are neat, clean, feel good in your hand, and look nice. I put mine on the side for my kids because I know what everything is and I don't have to see them looking disorganized. Even with physical impairment or lack of hand strength, the tops seal well and are easy to open. If you want to drop $70 on some tall snap wear, the $50 price point is where you should be.

👤Full disclosure... I bought different types of containers for my food. The brand is the best on the market. I like that the containers are clear. It's easy to see what's inside and how much you have left. The labels are random. I liked that. The labels had stickers on them that were easy to remove. The chalk marker has a nice tip that makes it easy to read. The closing mechanism on the containers is something I like. The brand I bought was difficult to put on. I have full confidence that when I reach for my rice and tip the container that the lid is snug and those nightmare accidental spills will not happen. Someone with arthritis or shaky hands could use the closure. This product is the best quality food storage container on the market and I highly recommend it. You will have a loyal customer with me.

The cupboard door hangs open about 1 millimeter because the tall ones didn't fit standing up. They are awkward on their side because of their shape. Sometimes you make adjustments for organization's sake, and I have never liked the 4 snap lids. There are some findings. There were two bags of brown sugar in the container. I put a bag of chocolate chips in a second smallest container. A tall bag of sugar is almost 3lb. A standard box of corn starch is barely large enough for a small child. I moved as much as I could from my baking cupboard to my snack cupboard and then to the miscellaneous cupboard. I used 2 small containers without lids to organize some of my Silicone stretch lids and ziplock bags, but I had 5 containers of different sizes left over. These were terrible to dry. Even after leaving out and then hand drying with a towel and paper towel, water gets in/around/under the silicone ring in the lid. That is a major flaw and will cause mold. The shape can be changed by cabinet height and depth. The markers and stickers work. The marker takes forever to dry and my smudged look was due to the fact that I didn't let it sit for more than 5 minutes before peeling it up. Can only help the organization. Air tight and secure. Everything you need but no extra labels, that's what it comes with. They are not 100% recycled materials, they have an insane amount of plastic waste for packaging, and the shape is odd. Every single container is wrapped in plastic, the marker and measuring cups are wrapped in non-recyclable plastic, and every single sheet of labels is wrapped in plastic. This is counter-productive. 👤These are nice containers, I needed a sturdy one for flour, sugar, and cereals. I like how clear they are. These are the perfect size to fit my cupboard. I love that they are free of the harmful chemical. It is not cheap and is a very solid plastic. The labels can be changed. The packaging is very efficient.

The dimensions of a container with a lid at the largest point are 6 feet by 6 feet. Quality seems to be ok. I need the most storage I can get for my 8.75"H cabinet. Returning.

👤These were going to be bigger than they were. I started labeling them after trying them out. The stickers are easy to apply, but the white pen smudged and it took me a few times to get it right. The label is small. You have to write small. If you are looking for a smaller container, these would work.

The sides of the lid can pop out if you set it too hard. They were difficult to pull apart. It was frustrating. I don't like the sizes. It doesn't seem like they are as big as they claim. One says it's the largest size. I know liters and grams are not the same. 1000 g is 1 liter. I think 2800 g is enough for 2 boxes of cereals. No, no. A box of cereals is roughly 400g. I think these sizes are not correct because it still seems so far off. Which is not true. I am stuck. I don't know how to return them now that I have food in them. Buy another set, wait it out, and then transfer? Do you want them to be sent back used? Can I do that? Don't spend the extra money on these, just buy some of the bigger sizes. I tried to get a set of different sizes but I think a bunch of bigger ones would have been better. I was disappointed in this purchase.

👤As described, they are not clear. They are not very clear. They claim that the Amazon system won't let you return them because it hasflammable liquids or gases. They don't have liquid or gas. Will have to call Amazon, but don't buy.

👤The descriptions and images show different sizes, but that is not what I received. I received 24 of them. The containers were very opaque. I wouldn't have been able to see what was in each one. Returned item.

👤These containers are good for storing things. I wish they were bigger but they are still okay. Not clear plastic. It's still okay... My sister in law saw them. She liked them. She asked me to buy a set for her. When I opened the box, it seemed like all the containers were the same size, but you have to take them all out one by one to find they are all in there. I saw other reviews that said they got the same size, which is not true. They just need to open all of the drawers.

👤I like my containers. You can see through them. They are strong. It is easy to close the lids. They are perfect. I almost didn't order because some reviewers said the lids had issues. I don't have any issues at all. I can't tell you if they are leaking because I don't use liquid with them. It comes with labels and can be changed if necessary. When you line the containers up, the container lid creates a lot of dead space between them. I already used the original containers for all my shelf products, so I was tempted to return them. Before you fill them up, make sure they fit in your intended storage space.

👤There are 5 canisters in the picture, 2 large, 2 medium, and 1 small. The box was large, medium and small. Customer support did an online chat. I was told a replacement order with the correct sizes of canisters was on the way. I could send the first order back. The new order was the same as the first one. Not what the picture shows. The canisters seem to be working. You might have a problem if you need 2 of the large size. Hopefully by the time you read this, they will either correct the photo or put the sizes shown in your order.

👤I like these. I was able to organize my pantry. These are my favorite air tight containers. The twist on top is very simple. They do get some water in the lid, but it's nothing to give less stars over. They are worth it.

👤The 10-piece square airtight food storage containers are made in China. Two of the different size containers are in this set. All of the containers have a 5” square top and are stackable. The 4 quart size weighs 1.6oz and is 11.875” tall, while the 2.5 quart size weighs 14.6oz and is 9.25′′ tall. It is easy to clean and install the gasket on the lid. The handle has an arrow on it. It is easy to turn the handle to make sure there is a tight seal. One of my pet peeves is a container that has a hard to use lid. I like the lids on this set. Amazon's 10-piece square airtight food storage containers are easy to use and clean.

👤Do not purchase them for food storage. The canisters are not airtight. I purchased this set along with several individual pieces for my different organic flours, sugars, baking soda, baking powder, chocolate chips and other baking ingredients in July of 2017, I am an avid baker and cook and purchased this set along with several individual pieces for my different organic flours, sugars I have never heard of pantry moths before, but I was horrified to discover that a bag of rice I bought from WalMart was contaminated with them, which has had a devastating effect on my pantry. I was horrified to find that the moths and their cocoons were inside of every canister I threw away. It's not like one seal failed; every one of them was upheld. The containers were thrown away with the contents. I don't think it's smart to waste money on containers and food by relying on their claims. I will test their claims this time, because I'm looking for airtight storage containers. This lesson was very expensive and I won't repeat it.

👤After washing the brown sugar prokeeper and letting the clay disc soak in water as directions stated, I tried to install it back into the lid where it goes for storage and one of the little prongs that holds it in. A representative of the company was supposed to call me back. The receptionist told me that the storage wasn't necessary because I could put the clay disc in the brown sugar. That may be fine, but why is it on there and I don't expect it to break before I get to put the brown sugar in it! They were not willing to compensate me in anyway, which I felt was unfair, and my only other option was return, which of course is a hassle for me, it didn't seem like Progressive International cared in the least! Their customer service is not good.

👤These are not bad. They are overpriced for what they are, and the photos are not accurate about the sizes. The largest one for flour is only wide enough to fit a 1C measuring cup inside. See the photo for the scale. They do what they say they will, but they are too expensive. I would really like to have more in my pantry, but it isn't worth the extra money.

👤I've been looking for kitchen canisters for a while and this is the first set that I've found that is sleek and modern. The canister was designed to hold what it was intended to hold. I have not had any issues with this container, it holds the average supermarket bag of flour and has a leveling bar. The brown sugar container has a terra cotta disc that is supposed to help keep the sugar soft, but it was hard to use the first time I used it, but the container is still great. The way the lid is made it hard to close the spout lid and make the top dirty. The container has a leveling bar and a spoon for dusting cakes. I haven't found a use for the 2 small containers yet, but they both have the same strength as the larger ones and they have a leveler insert.

👤The blade grinder that I purchased is starting to go out. I decided to take a chance on the refurbished model because of the reviews and price. As time allows, I will be updating. This is not a conical burr grinder. It is a burr grinder. The burr grinder is not more expensive. The price and performance of the two are vastly different. Don't deal with it. The grinder does not have a classification. Fines will be made. It is life. Don't deal with it. I know industrial size reduction from the chemical engineer here. It's a function of time between the plates that I expect a reasonable grind with about 5-10% fines. What a difference in grind! Wow. It is much more consistent in the grind. I could taste the difference. Smoother, less bitter. The appliance is large. It is not going into a cabinet to hide. I had to find counter space. I ground a pot of coffee with the grind adjustment set to medium-fine. The grinder is loud. Time to wake up! It isn't loud. The grounds were in a bin. I removed the bin, tapped it a few times to get the grounds to settle, and poured it into a filter. There was a small amount of fines left on the plastic due to static cling. I did not analyze it. It was much less expensive than a blade grinder. I put the cover back in the unit. The bin safety switch contacts and there is a click. I looked at the grinding plates. It was cleaned easily. It will be a once-per-week chore. It's a great grinder for the money so far. It's better than any blade grinder I've used. The May 15 update is still great. A pot worth daily was grinded. The cups are worth a lot of money daily. Awesome grinder! July 8, 2017: keeps on going. Each day there are 10 cups. It grinds very well.

👤The motor of the grinder stopped running after only 6 months of normal use. I have never had a break after purchase of a refurbished product. There is an update. After talking to Cuisinart, I found out that there is no warranty for refurbished models, so I removed the Hopper and cleaned the burrs. I removed the bottom and realized there was a switch by the catch container. It works now. The 2 year warranty with manual does not apply to refurbs, and you should remove the burrs every so often. The lid to the grounds container keeps the static mess contained better than the lower line capresso or baratza burr grinder, which costs over $100.

👤The seller was great. It's all you need with fast shipping and safe packaging. I was asked to get a grinder similar to the one we used before, which made awesome coffee, and I always got it. The first two pages of my search are occupied by over-reviewed grinders. I'm not fond of brands that give away free product, and I was unable to find a burr grinder that was under $200. I was surprised to find this one, and it was far cheaper than I thought. Is it a newer model? Nope, the same as before. Talk about time-tested. It was still a little uncomfortable to purchase a remanufactured grinder. I couldn't find a mark on it. I couldn't be more pleased with it. We were back to having a perfect grinder two days after ours broke, due to being knocked off the counter. I can't tell you how impressed I am with the person who remanufactured it. I swear it's brand new. If you're looking for a coffee grinder, please buy it. I'm very grateful to the seller. I wasn't paid off, no free stuff, so go ahead and check my profile. I'm blown away by this deal. I would compare it to the old T 100 pickup that doesn't know how to die, but it cleans up better. A small appliance that works well for ten years is not something I have seen before. I would like to shake the hand of the person behind the design. There is no powder explosion from the ground coffee's container. It sticks to the walls of the container, but a gentle tap of the hand lays it back down. I'll buy a t shirt if these guys sell them.

👤This is the place to store cereals, coffee beans, pasta, etc. The seal switch seems to work. There is a good selection of sizes. I don't know if I'd put the rubber lid edges in the dishwasher, I worry about maintaining their performance with time. It's a bit expensive for what it is and plastic quality isn't as good as I would like, but it's acceptable.
