Best Baking Cooling Racks Half Sheet

👤I'm trying to buy American and I want products that are free of harmful chemicals. I don't want to buy Chinese products. How many shills can be bought in 2020? My experience is a professional chef. The chicken was placed on the wire rack and brushed with lite BBQ sauce. 2. There were permanent stains on the pan from BBQ sauce that dripped onto it. The pan was cleaned with soapy cloth. The end of the sponge scrubber is soft after a lot of use. The Americoat coating was scratched off by this. I said very little elbow-grease during cleaning. The reviews should have been listened to. The product is not safe for use and should not be sold on Amazon. Remove this product from Amazon.

👤I think it will help prevent warping by being heavy/solid for the size. It seems to clean up well. I just unwrapped it from the packaging and the coating is rubbing off at 4 of the 6 contact points between the sheet and the rack, the other 2 have rough patches started. The rack had been wrapped in additional cardboard. There are 6 starting points for additional and expedited chipping, and it makes me uneasy.

👤The pan is already garbage and it is unsafe to use it for a long time. If you want a pan for home use that is safe to use for 6 to 11 months, this is the pan for you. The customer was unhappy with the purchase.

👤A piece of kitchen ware. You get two. The shine on these is as good as a mirror, and the quality of them is great. Teflon/Aluminum/Steel sheets are worth more work than they are worth. They say they were dishwasher safe and found that due to small holes in the rolled edges they would trap water and when removed from my dishwasher it dripped dirty rusty water. The set of STAINLESS STEEL is no longer available. The things I bake get heated and cooked on the wire rack. It was difficult to find this size in many stores. The right size is worth the price. I don't like the non stick sheets as they are hard to clean.

👤The trays have magnets on them. They are of the lowest possible quality, but that doesn't mean they are not STAINLESS STEEL. You can't use the metal on the cooktop because it's not magnetic. The package was open when the trays arrived. I was surprised that everything was in the box. It is a bitter disappointment that they are magnetic.

👤These cookie sheets were what I wanted. I was concerned about the reviews that said adverse events in the oven. This was not my experience at all. The pans were straight. Everything went well. I didn't like the look of the mats. I will wait to try them out. The racks were a bonus. They were used for cooling. These cookie sheets are very nice. They are easy to clean.

👤I have two aluminum half-sheet pans that are 25 years old and still in excellent shape, I was happy to find these 1/4 sheet pans. I had cheap grocery store pans. I was impressed when I took the pans out of the package. They were heavy for their size. The sides are slightly taller than my other favorite sheet pans. I liked the explanation of the rolled edges and thick metal. The 9x13 grocery store pans have done that many times. I bought the pans because they were heavy duty. I've baked with these pans once. When I cleaned them, I noticed that there was a lot of stuff in the rolled-edge seam area. This is happening because the seam is open close to the side. My other sheet pans have a hair's width space between the rolled metal and the side, which is too small to collect anything. I think the manufacturing process needs to be improved in order to reduce the space between the sides and rolled edge in order to avoid collecting grunge.

👤I needed to replace my old and used ones. I bought the last two from the restaurant supply company. I was hesitant to go that route because of the Pandemic. I found this on Amazon and it is a commerical quality item. The price was the same, but the quality was different. The first one was used while making a pie. After the pan heated for a couple of mintues, it spranp up on the corner and stayed warped until the baking was over. The sheet pan was covered with foil and there were pools of burned custard filling. Not happy with the purchase.

The baking surface is considerably smaller than expected due to the deeply sloped sides of the pans. You lose 2 inches in length and width. I am not sure if I should keep the pans because they are too small for the baking sheets I bought to use with them.

👤Is aluminum supposed to rust? The rolled edge of the baking pan makes it impossible to dry well, like many other baking pans. These are not aluminum because they rust. The only way to dry the ruined dish mat is in the oven.

The pan was put into the oven at 400 degrees with room around each piece and sprayed with olive oil spray. Wow! It was a nice crunch on both sides. Everyone wanted to take left overs for lunch. This pan was large enough for them all at the same time.

I assume they clipped the wire at the edges of the rack because they had a dull tool that sticks up, but somewhere they should have caught it and fixed the problem. I only gave this product one star because I couldn't give it more than one.

The life span of mild steel is shorter than that of stainless steel. The other reviews say they rust. The steel doesn't rust.

The real world size of these racks? 7-7/8" x 10" I used one of the rack on a small cookie sheet inside my oven to crisp a piece of reheated fried chicken, which allowed the excess grease to drain away onto the cookie sheet, rather than into my husband's tummy. He liked the extra crispiness and I liked the oil reduction. Extra fat is harmlessly drained away. It would be great for roasting small quantities of meat, though mine will be used for cooling jobs. 👤I bought this in the container. I don't recommend this product for this use. I left it in the water for a test and it rusted on the first night. They didn't slide around my baking sheet. They were not quite level. Learn from my experience. They aren't perfect, but they were cheap.

This made the bar with the feet a little bit tilted, but it did not interfere with the intended purpose. This is 8 x 10 and will fit into a 9 x 13 quarter sheet pan with space all around. The "feet" are 1/3 of an inch tall and allow for great circulation and food. I use it for baked coconut shrimp and chicken strips. Turn the food over to get the best results. The bread, buns, and other items that can't go in a toasting device can be done nicely with this rack on top of the other rack. The bars in the oven are too wide. The little squares on the rack are about the same size. The quality of these racks is very good and they are heavier than the pictures show.

👤This pan warped more than any I have had before. It is fine for roasting but not for delicate baking. It starts out flat, but once in the oven there is a loud pop. You can see the results in the photo that was communicated with the manufacturer. They responded very quickly. Sorry to hear the tray didn't work for you. We are finding in a few cases that it warps, but in the majority of cases it doesn't. It seems to be a problem in ovens that don't have an even heating, which makes one side of the pan heat quicker than the other. We are fighting against the natural properties of the steel. If the pan is evenly heated, it won't warp, but if one side is hotter than the other, it will warp. We used a thicker grade of steel to try and hold the pan rigid, which works well, and put the rod inside the rim. I am happy to arrange for a refund if you can provide me with your order id. If the pan is usable for you, then keep it, if not, then give it to a friend or relative, as chances are it won't warp in a different oven.

👤It is easy to clean but bent in the oven at 450 degrees. When heated, it will pop back into place. It has been staining very easily. I changed to 3 starts because it pops back to place and still heats evenly when popped in the oven.

👤The description says they designed and made a non warping baking sheet, but it does warp a lot. We use these for things like baking french fries, tator tots, chicken thighs, and when they get hot, they warp badly. One corner will be close to an inch higher than the others. It's not acceptable in a baking sheet. I have some old aluminum and steel sheets that don't warp, and I also have some plain steel sheets that don't warp. I wanted to use the dishwasher. I've used them about a dozen times with the same results. They warp when I use them. The temp I use for fries and tots is 450, but they warp at 375 for chicken. They need to be flat at the temperature they are used to, but that's useless when the temperature cools. The design was bad. Don't buy these if you want sheets that stay flat. They may work fine as a cookie baking sheet at 350 or lower, but I have not tested to see if they start warping. They are useless as a baking sheet at higher temperatures. I'll add more pics later. The pictures of the warping have been added. I don't recommend them because they are not warp resistant. Try another brand and save your money.

That is a medium grade steel. I had trouble with it. There is a If you don't want it to buckle, don't preheat the oven. You have to have food on the whole pan surface if you want the heat to spread evenly.
