👤The starter kit is great. I am new to baking and I bake cakes and cupcakes. Everything I needed was in this kit. I thought the materials would be cheap, but they aren't. They are perfect. The amount of frosting tips you get is amazing. There are many. I baked my first cake from scratch with this kit. The kit is still great if you are not new to baking. It is in a box that is small and perfect. I received an email from the company asking if everything was in the box. I thought it was great.
👤This is a complete kit. Most of the other kits have what you need. This kit has everything. It's easy to decorate a cake with this quality. The non slip feet on the turntable and the spring pans that aren't in the other kits are nice. The presentation is done well. Its in a nice box and separated into its own bags. A great gift. They are loving it, and I bought them for my gf and daughter. I get to eat the cake. They got to me in hours, not days, after I contacted customer service about the eBook. The book is over 100 pages. Excellent customer service too!
👤Wow! I was surprised when I bought this kit last minute for my first attempt at a tier wedding cake. The items inside the packaging were in good shape despite being a little beat up. The kit allowed me to create a masterpiece despite the fact that the cake leveler did not work as I needed it to, but it did allow me to create a masterpiece. It's a good investment for a beginner.
👤I don't know how they fit all the stuff into this box, but once you open it, there's no way to put them back in the box for storage. Before you open, have a plan. The products are mediocre in quality, like you bought them from the dollar store. It is still an ok value for all the things you get, especially if you will use every single item in there. If you don't want to use all the items in there, then it's better to just buy them individually and get better color coordinated tools. This would be a great gift for your niece who is 13 to 17 years old. There are a lot of things that are better quality and cheaper at Ross/Marshall's or Fred Meyer. I just started to notice the cake tools at the stores after I bought this box.
👤There are many pieces to this set. If you know how to use them, that's great. I bought this for my 10 year old. I thought this might be a decent substitution as the kids sets were sold out. There is no instruction. There are pieces in there that you will not know how to use.
👤The kit is for beginners. As you learn the art of decorating, it has everything you need. The value is good for beginners. I looked at prices at Michaels and the hobby lobby. The price of this kit with everything in it can be beat, even though both stores have terrific goodies. Have fun with it.
For use with a cake pan. The bag is designed for both food service and home use. The cloth is lined with polyethylene and won't slip in your hand. It's great for piping food. It is easy to clean and economical.
👤The bags are hard to use. They are made of canvas with plastic coating. The bag is too stiff because of the thick plastic coating. It's not easy to twist and hold the end closed. It worked well for thick choux pastry, but I had to take a break. I don't recommend icing. Or something similar. It seems like it doesn't last very long. The ends are unfinished. The raw canvas edges of my bag are showing some separation from the plastic coating, I only washed it twice. I used the bags for a long time. I threw away one that was almost 20 years old. Those are better... And cost the same. I'm sorry to have bought these bags. As I write this review, I'm putting in an order of bags.
👤The bag seems to last a long time. I chose this one because it was recommended by America's Test Kitchen, who has opinions that are too much for me. I bought the package deal that was listed as "Frequently bought together" on the day of purchase and still as I write this. There is a The tips are listed, but the Do Not Fit the tips come with a 3 piece package. I won't be able to use the quick change convenience of the couplers because I'll need more tips. I think the correct accessory for these tips is the "Ateco Large Plastic Coupler 404", I can't blame ATK or Amazon, but perhaps this revuew will keep someone else from buying a component they don't need.
👤I bought it to go with the "recommended" The pre-cut tip opening is only for small tips. You will have to cut off a small amount of water in order to use the tips and/or the coupler. You'll probably need to cut 3-6 in. for the ginormous quick icer tip. You will only be able to use half of the tips with this bag. Only half of the tips are worked on by the coupler. It's too large for other people. The hole in the bag is too large for them. You can't use the larger tips if you cut the bag to accommodate the smaller tips. Pick your tips or buy more than one. The bag is fine.
👤I originally reviewed the Ateco Pastry bag after I purchased the first bag. I use the Ateco name as I bake professionally and it's what I use at work. This pastry bag is put to the test in December when I don't bake at home all year. It is flexible enough for me to handle easily, but not too stiff, and it is sturdy enough to last. I use this to make buttercream frosting for cupcakes and to make meringue mushrooms for cupcakes. If you're familiar with baking, you'll know that there are two very different formulas that don't work well together, meaning that with a bowl, a bag, and a meringue, you have to be completely grease-free. A buttercream is very smooth. This bag has a coating on it that allows me to wash it by hand and get a clean when I need it. Even after 4 years, this bag doesn't need to be replaced, I just wanted to treat myself to a brand new one. I would purchase again, as I just have!
I'm sure finished works look better than using your finger when using this Specialty Stainless Steel tweezers. The Ateco disposable decorating bags are easy to use. The disposable bags ensure sterility and save time. The bag is made of nonslip plastic and is safe for use with hot or cold foods. Clear plastic makes it easy to anticipate refill requests. Professional quality and quality design has been done by Ateco.
👤They don't look fancy, but who cares? I don't! They are just as strong and sticky as before, which helps the piping tip adhere better. You get 100 bags in a box and it's great quality. The disposable piping bags come in 50. I will always buy these bags.
👤These bags get the job done, even though they aren't the best. I noticed that the bags were sticky, so I asked why. I have to wipe the bags off with a damp cloth because they are all sticky out of the box. I don't want this on my food because I don't want it on your hands. The bags seem to get in the way of piping detail. The bags can interfere with piping and flooding. You have to cut the tip with scissors and be careful not to open the bag. The seem will often smudge my icing or get in the way of my line of sight when I don't cut it off. There is a lot of plastic on the tip, but it isn't a big deal. There is a small amount of wasted plastic at the bottom of each bag that you need to cut off. You're thinking, "Okay, sure, what's the big deal?" It can be difficult to get a small hole in the bag for piping when you have to remove all the plastic. I usually have to do a trial and error before I get the right hole. I have plastic on my workbench. This is a small problem to complain about, but it gets annoying because not all bags are the same. You won't know how much plastic is in the tip. The bags do their job well. I wish they weren't sticky and that they didn't have a huge seem that interfered with icing.
👤I ordered two types of bags, one by Craftit and the other by Ateco. I ordered both because they are different sizes. I can't stand how sticky and dirty the bags are. The craftit edibles are similar to the Wilton bags. The Ateco is going back to me. I bake every day.
👤The bags are sticky on the outside, but I like the convenience of the roll. This attracts hair and fuzz, not what you want near your icing. It makes filling the bag a little more difficult. I tried to find a good deal because I go through a lot of icing bags, but I might opt for something a buck or two next time.
👤Didn't like them. I wasn't horrible to work with, but I was surprised by the stickiness of them. The way the seam by the stick out was more of a pain than it was a pleasure. Wouldn't be a problem if nozzles were used. I had a lot of colors. The thickness of the bags made it difficult to tie them.
👤I realized how easy it was to use the Ateco products after using them a lot. For my frequent baking sessions, I need multiple baking tools like this one. Although I own a couple of other piping bags, these ones have no complaints so far and are convenient to use. The quality of the bags is good and they don't pop or break.
Professional quality baking and decorating tools have been produced by the family since 1905. A quality set of pastry tips for decorating and icing cakes. There are 2 plain tubes, 1 star, 1 french star, 1 closed star, and 1 basket weave tube in the set. For the longest life, only hand wash. It's great for the professional or home baker. Professional quality baking and decorating tools have been produced by the family since 1905.
👤This brand and tip size is recommended by me. They're 2 in. In height. These were chosen for making cupcakes, and for frosting cakes. The size of the tips makes it easier to decorate your baked goodies. The Ateco brand 787 - 6 piece decorating tube set includes 804, 833,
👤The perfect size for weaving the basket. It's perfect for macarons. I like it so far. Really strong metal. A 12oz can of waterloo is a good size. You can get a better picture of the size.
👤The tips are great, but the couplers do not fit. These tips won't work with standard couplers. These are great. The star one is good for filling cannoli. It works well with the big bag.
👤Excellent pipping tubes. I am using the same name for the macrons. They come out in the right size. I think it would be better if the product description said that no need to use anything, just insert any tube in the bag and start to pipe. I wasted money to get the couplers.
👤The extra large tips are what the photo is about, and I bought the couplers that were recommended with this item. They don't fit the same tips that are suggested to go with them because they're the regular size. What a waste of time and money.
👤These tips make it easy to decorate cupcakes. I didn't like spreading frosting with a knife. The results never looked as nice as I wanted. I used smaller decorating tips for cakes, but they didn't look good on cupcakes. The larger tips are perfect. I'm able to make a lot of cupcakes in a short period of time. I was a bit worried about using these without a coupler, but so far I haven't had any problems with the frosting leaking out of the bag. My favorite way to decorate cupcakes is to position the tip to the top of the cupcake, squeeze the frosting until it covers 75% of the top, and then pull the tip up to let the pressure off. This makes people think my cupcakes were professionally decorated. I've used them for other things. I made bunny shaped macarons for Easter and I'm hoping to make other piped shapes in the future.
👤It was the perfect size for what I wanted. These are large for piping out cookies or cupcakes. These are not the ones you want to decorate or do fine detail. These tips are heavy and affordable.
👤Aunque tiene un set de Ateco, una compra, pero fue mucho mejor.
👤These tips are great. Especially the large closed star tip. It's great that they have a variety of tips. Would buy again. The set contains 2 plain tubes, 1 star, 1 french star, and 1 basket weave tube.
👤These and a 24” Wunderbg were bought for pastries. The size of these units makes them very sturdy, and I am in awe of them. The smallest tip is less than half a cm from the end of the bag, and the largest tip is 3.5 cm from the end of the bag. The bag has a half-circumference of 2.2 cm out of the box and a height of 49.5%. You should be prepared to trim your bag.
Professional quality and quality design has been done by Ateco. Ateco has a dual duty decorating comb and icing smoother. You can use to make designs on the cakes. Prepare icing for decorating. Professional quality and quality design can be found at Ateco.
👤I was looking for an extra tall cake smoother because I currently have a cake that is 5 feet tall and many of the cakes that I am decorating are taller than that. I thought I had found the cake smoother that I was looking for when I saw the product description. The packaging is 5 inches by 5 inches. The one that I have is 5. I could have read more of the comments, but why wouldn't the product description match the product?
👤This smoothener gets the job done. This tool helped me achieve that perfectly smooth look, I am a cake decorating newbie. It's not easy but with the right tools and practice, it can be done. If it was taller and wider, I would have given it five stars. If your cakes are small, it works well. If I am doing taller layers, I can forget about using the shorter sides of the icing smoother to give my cakes a combed look. Sometimes my cakes are 4 layers and other times they are two layers. I bought an 8-inch knife from the home depot. I would still use this one for my two layer cakes. I love how neat my cake turned out. I uploaded some photos.
👤The shapes shown are cut from sheet metal. A nice gauge and finish. It seems pretty sturdy. I have no issues with the quality. They are fine if you know how to use it. I don't like the way the flat one has teeth that poke your hand and can be uncomfortable to use. It was not for me to be able to have multiple tools in one. I went with a brand that I liked better and was thicker metal because I use the flat side most of the time. If this one had a grip on it, then poking my hand wouldn't be an issue, but it doesn't and it is. Not bad, but not for me. Comes from a good brand. You can definitely work with it, I just went with another brand name and spent a little more. I will keep these because it is nice to have so many designs in just two cake tools.
👤This tool is made of metal. The flat side is for smoothing the frosting of a cake, for example, to smooth buttercream in order to lay fondant over it. The other three sides will make the frosting look different. The instructions say to apply a thick layer of icing to the cake, then before the crust forms, shake off excess water, and draw it across the iced surface. It was very simple and direct. If you hold it at an angle, you can remove less icing from the cake. Imagine holding the tool completely against the surface of the cake, with the patterned edge against the icing, then folding the hand that holds the tool in toward the cake. I'm not sure what the benefit is of making the tool rectangular instead of square, but the two long sides will easily cover a standard two-layer cake side. The small sides need to be drawn against the icing at the top and bottom of the cake. I am happy to see that this is metal and will hold up over time, even though I thought it was plastic. It can be bent with a lot of force, but won't bend during regular use.
The family has been making baking and decorating tools for over 100 years. A set of cake heating cores. cakes bake and rise evenly when heat is applied to batter For use with a cake pan.
👤I wanted to make sure the center of the cake was cooked before I baked it, so I bought the heat cores. I only used one core in each of the pans, not realizing that I was supposed to use 3 in each pan. I used one in each pan because I only had four and three. The cakes were baked well. The centers were cooked, the top was flat, and the edges weren't over done. Even though I didn't use the correct number, it worked perfectly. The heating cores look a little flimsy, and I don't like the idea of them being sturdier. It is difficult to de-pan the cakes because they are sticking out. It would be better if the base was separated so that the go could flip it out onto a flat surface. Make sure you spray the base of the heating core with non-stick spray before you pour the batter over it. If you are using a piece of paper with a base under it, you can poke the nail part through it. The paper will keep the core from getting stuck.
👤These are great for smaller cakes as you only need one per cake, however, once you start going larger you will need multiple. Since I've started using these, there have been a few instances where my cakes have turned out a little undercooked in the center, but not since I've started using these. I use them for my smaller cakes religiously, they go in each and every 3-6" cake that I bake. They're very hot so don't remove until the cake has cooled. I recently used these in a loaf pan for a very dense banana bread and it was cooked evenly throughout. I am a fan and use them frequently. Make sure they don't stick by spraying or coat them.
👤I had no idea that they made heating cores. I had to choose between the two. The funnel looking core was the reason I chose these. I was so happy that my cake was cooked on time and I only had to flip it to remove the cores because the last one looked like it would leave! Excited about my purchase. Great investment. I have a cake coming up.
👤It's a great tool for us "chefs" who have trouble getting their cakes and breads to cook in the middle. Place these guys in your pan before you start battering. They help the transfer of heat to the general location. I have used them 3 times so far and they have done a better job with my recipes. It is recommended.
👤My daughter and I baked all of the separate layers for her wedding cake. We are very much beginners at cake baking and decorating, but thanks to various videos and posts on the internet, we now know that these exist. We felt like these helped spread the heat evenly for a more uniform bake, as well as being a reasonable price. Great product!
Professional quality baking and decorating tools have been produced by the family since 1905. A 12-inch diameter aluminum top. A non-slip pad is included. Only made in the US.
👤I have worked in several large company/chains as a professional cake designer, and I can tell you that this particular cake stand/turntable is the "Cadillac" of them all. The very best companies use only this cake stand. Over time, the cheaper ones grow crooked, asymmetrical, and unstable. This is the most important part of cake decorating. I was thrilled to get my own. This is a rare time in life where you only have to buy it once, and you can pass it on to the next generation.
👤The lock nut that prevents the turn table from turning on its own is missing. You can fix this by rolling up a piece of plastic wrap and wrapping it around the part of the table that connects it to the base. You can decorate with both hands. No way.
👤It was not possible to return. Don't buy anything you can't return. I wish I had read that review that would have spared me this problem. I wanted to try and get another company that was less heavy. I can not return. It's a terrible thing. I will put Amazon in doghouse for not making bigger the return policy deviation.
👤The way the two pieces fit makes the top never sit level. It is hard to move because of the two pieces. It slips all over the counter. There is no way to get a grip on this. It's not expensive to replace the grip pad that wears out after a couple uses, but it's a lot of work and I keep forgetting. It would be great if there was a 3 inch diameter gripper on top. I use a metal scraper when I clean my cakes. When I sweep around the base, I see a grey frosting at the bottom that is being discarded. I thought it was weird. Maybe it is the metal that is causing the problem. I am buying a different turntable today because I am tired of dealing with this one. It is not for me.
👤I knew this was a good brand and ordered it. It arrived with no oil or grease. It made a sound. The second one was the same as the first one. I bought mineral oil, which helped with the sound, but is still warped and bruised. Maybe the oil dried up because they were so old? They don't accept returns, so I have two that are warped. It's bad for cake decorating.
👤My wife is taking up baking as a hobby and I bought this for her. She had a good set of tools for making cakes, but they were missing. This turntable makes decorating cakes a lot easier, it spins pretty well. The base on this unit is heavy and designed to last. The turntable lists the base easily. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a standard classics cake decorating turntable, both pieces are easy to clean.
👤The cake stand is all around good quality, but it doesn't function well. The cast iron base is stable and easy to decorate. The reason I'm giving it two stars is that it was rusty after being washed twice. Do not immerse in water is the only care instructions. The turntable needed to be washed under running water after I wiped down the base. The peg that sits on the base was damaged when this hand washed under running water. I decided to return it and go for a plastic model instead, but I was surprised it wasn't eligible for return. I contacted Amazon and they made good on it. I'm not happy with the product. I've tried using it since the rusting and the action of turning it creates a fine rust power that goes into the base and makes a mess. I would like them to use a non-rusting metal.
Professional quality and quality design can be found at Ateco. The round revolving cake decorating stand is more professional. A smooth and steady rotation of the aluminum base and turntable results in better decorating results. The turntable is 12-inches in diameter and stands 4-inches high, with a non-slip Silicone cap to prevent sliding on counter tops. Don't submerge in water, wipe with damp cloth. Professional quality baking and decorating tools have been produced by the family since 1905.
👤This boi is sturdy and keeps spinning. Pays for itself because it lasts forever. The turntables with the iron base are the best. They are worth the money. Several of the work places I have used were over 3 decades old. Still working! I went for the iron base because I needed it at home. It is heavy to keep it from shifting. I like using the liner that comes with for smaller cakes that wobble too much with stiff icing, or you can place it under the turntable for extra protection against shifting. The bad boys are expensive when compared with other types of turntables, but don't bother with the laminated/ball bearing/plastic turn tables. The spin is hampered by the amount of dirt they collect. The laminated/alternative turn tables are low in height for tall work spaces, which is the only good thing about them. The sturdiness is rock solid and will last a lifetime. It is easy to lubricate if it needs help. It is taller than other turntables for easier piping work on cakes. I own over a dozen different products from this brand.
👤I needed a turntable to make my cake decorating job a lot easier, so I went for this one, it spins so smooth and makes no sound thanks to the ball bearings system, I'm totally in love.
👤I moved from a small turntable to this one. It is very effective for decorating cakes. The only issue I have with it is that mine doesn't stay still when I place my cake on top of it. I have to hold the bottom of my cake so I have to take a picture. I put tape under it to stop it from rotating, but it sucks when I spend more than 50 dollars for it.
👤The thing needs brakes. I've tried many brands, but it is so smooth that I don't think I've ever experienced it before. The price is fantastic and the quality is second to none. The previous model of this model was available in Australia for $219AUD plus shipping, which is ridiculous, but I was not able to find this model in Australia. This product is very good.
👤I would like bakeries to provide these to coincide with the standard round cake stands for all the sheet cakes produced within a given day. I purchased this for at- home use. It distributes weight more evenly for sheet cakes, rather than having to sub a sheet pan on top of a non-slip grip lined round cake stand. The largest cake I've ever used is a full-size sheet cake. It may be a bit loose, that's my only concern. It sometimes just keeps rotating when the stand is slowly turned around to maneuver around a cake. Sometimes I have to stop it from spinning. Is this a problem for other people? It could have come with a non-slip grip mat like my other Ateco cake stands do. It is easy to clean and sanitize. That's always a kicker for me with any kitchen tools or equipment. Even in the event of an earthquake, the rubber grip on the bottom works well.
It is made of steel. Use to cut or divide dough, and also to remove excess flour and dough from the work surface. The blade is 4 x 3-inches. Professional quality and quality design can be found at Ateco.
👤I was really disappointed in Aetco. I buy Ateco pastry bags, tips, connectors, offset spatulas, and they are all excellent quality and reasonably priced. Chefmates gave me a free benchsraper when I bought their recipe product 15 years ago. It works well and is strong. It's the one on the right in the attached picture. The ruler markings at the edge are worn off so I decided to get a new one and keep this handy. The Ateco scraper is shiny and nice. When I used it to scraper my workbench, I couldn't believe the metal was bendable with your hands. The dumb thing is when you apply pressure to pick up sticky stuff. It's really hard. How in the name of heaven am I supposed to take something off the scraper? YUCK! The old Chefmate scraper is very heavy and difficult to bend. You can bend it, but you have to use both hands. It feels like you wouldn't be able to bend it permanently without using pliers. You can bend the Ateco scraper. I didn't bend it, but you can bend it permanently. Ateco has very sharp corners. I didn't notice that the Chefmate corners were rounded until I used the Ateco. It's ok as a second spare unit. My guess is that this was added to the cheap-*ss product by a third vendor.
👤I never looked back after I got this tool. It changed the way I worked with dough and improved my baking experience so much that I will never go back. I only gave it a 4 out of 5 because on the 4th or 5th time I used it, I cut my finger on the metal edge that is curved into the handle. I don't know how it happened, but as I grabbed it, my finger slid in and the metal cut it. I was not expecting that edge to be sharp, it is definitely a safety issue.
👤I already owned the Ateco Bench Scraper and never used it. I was looking for a scraper that would help me smooth the icing on the cakes. The OXO was too heavy for that purpose. I like Ateco products. They are for the professional and homemaker. I decided to try it after I came across the Ateco Bench Scraper. The price was reasonable. I'm very pleased with the product I ordered. The OXO has a handle that is half the width. The handle is made of textured material. This makes it slip-resistant when wet. The handle of OXO feels very hard. The Ateco is more shiny than thestainless steel blades. The OXO blade is dull. The Ateco blade is a little larger than the OXO's, which is 6 x 3. Both brands seem to have sharp blades. The bottom of the blade has markings like a ruler. The Ateco does not have this feature. I like the Ateco. The handle is less bulky to use. I want something that will act more like an extension of my hand, and the Ateco would be better for that. Both are dishwasher safe. I usually cut the butter in the wrapper. This is not an easy task for me. The butter was pushed apart by the OXO until it cut through the paper. The Ateco sliced through the butter. I have been using the Ateco every chance I get since I received the OXO.
ATECO is a professional quality and quality design company. It is designed to hold chocolates, cake balls, fruits, candies, nuts and more. The set has 3 different tool options. The long handles make it easy to keep hands clean. Hand wash recommended. The family has been making baking and decorating tools for over 100 years.
👤They look nice. It's nice that they are made of steel. There is a small object and threeprongs. I was disappointed to not have basic instructions on how to use the various instruments since I only used a toothpick to dip my truffles. You can use the dipping tool set to hold fruit, candy or nuts securely. The petit four are covered with fondant icing. It was made of steel. It is a dipping tool set. I purchased it because of that. I don't understand what you mean by "hold petit four while covering with fondant icing." What does that mean? I know that the word H0LD is a French word for small, tiny, slight, little, dainty, wee. I have never used fondant icing. What do I use for 2 and 3 prong tools? I am aware of the uses for various items. When do I use two, 3, or circular ones? I'm not sure what the 2 and 3 prong ones are for, but I'm pretty sure the little round one is for nuts. For the little pieces and big pieces, how much is it for one 2 and 3 prongs? It would be very helpful to have some direction.
👤These dipping tools are in my chocolate shop. I have bought multiple sets so that I can use them for different things without having to clean in between. I have washed and used to dip thousands of chocolates and the quality is great. The tools are designed to be used in a professional manner. Buying more sets today will help train a new intern.
👤I've been making different kinds of truffles for the last few years and have tried a lot of different things, but they didn't work out. I bought this year. It was easier to dip and it was quicker. It's amazing how small things can make things more pleasant. I love this tool.
👤Works well! I like to make chocolate-coated cookie dough balls. I used to dip them with sticks, but they would fall off. I just toss one in the chocolate, roll it around, scoop it out, and tap a few times to get rid of excess. I found a spoon that fits under the melted chocolate to move it back and forth from the tray without drips. It's small. The hemispheres I made were very awkward to work with. I decided to make smaller balls to make them fit better in the spiral. I just want to give an idea of its size.
👤If you've ever worked in a bakeshop, you should know about the company Ateco. They make a lot of products for people like me. I use Aetco's products, like their waxed bags, pastry tips, and plastic connections, and they're excellent. Their dipping tool is a great value and easy to use, and they're east clean. It comes with a wide variety of tool end tips to choose from. They have got you covered. I only use a few different ones in the set as I am only using them to dip ganaches into chocolate. Sometimes, I have weird piped ganache centers that require me to choose a different end dip tool, and they worked great. I don't have a picture of me using the tools in action since I am busy with ganaches and chocolate. Time sensitive and temperature critical. I am not taking pictures. The chocolate should be cooled with an ice bath. One of 3 sheets of hand made, hand dipped Belgian style dark chocolate truffles.
The bag is made of grease-proof material and can be folded open for thorough cleaning. There are 52 small tubes, one standard coupler and two 905. There are flower nails. The box is 7 inches x 8 inches. 75 inch The plastic is made in the USA. Professional quality and quality design by Ateco.
👤This only has 26 large tips and 9 small tips. It fits the Russian regular and Ball tips. It can hold my other large tips, but it doesn't have the capacity described. There are 35 locations for 37 tips. There are open areas in both corners. I don't consider them locations for large tips because there is no way to keep them in place. The center area appears to be for a large vehicle. One of the Russian Ball tips is taller than the others. I am able to close the case despite the top hitting the cover. Large tips are not made for the protrusion that you place over them. The size of the protrusion is the same for both large and small tips. The large tips are not held in the correct position for cover closing. When cover is closed, the tips should not fall over. I was able to close the case by stacking 3 of the flat top tips together. I expected to see all the tips together, but I am not able to. There is a The opening in the cover is too small for the large tips and the small tip locations are too close together, so you can't use them for the large tips. It's not ideal to put another tip case on top of the case because it's not flat. I would have liked to have counted the number of large tip spaces. The description is not accurate. The base of the center location was not shown in my photo. The tip is 1/2 inch lower than the other flat top large tips. I think it's for a large person. I hope this helps someone make a better decision. ATECO should have provided a better description of the case. It's disappointing to see misleading descriptions. I am going to look for a case that can hold a lot of tips.
👤I am very pleased with the quality of the 52 tip case and the extra space for flower nails and couplers. It holds standard, small tips and keeps them in place when closed. I like the way they sit on their pegs, so you can see the top of each tip. Hard plastic is what the closure is made of. I plan to be very careful opening the case. It closes securely so far. I am not worried about it opening on its own. This is a very nice case and I am pleased with the price.
👤I bought two containers to hold my larger tips and Russian icing. They fit well. They had cracked and broken corners on the lids. It is not a product problem because my other Ateco containers are the same material and undamaged. The pieces from the corners weren't in the box from Amazon so the damage happened before being shipped to me. I will be ordering more containers for my other tips.
👤I had an old storage box that was cracked and I bought this to replace it. The middle of this one is broken, whereas the plastic mold lid is good. I don't think there is a hole, but it looks terrible. It looks cracked. I might have lived with my cracked storage box.
