Best Baking Dish Set Oval

👤The set is nice, but I only gave it one star because there is no way to replace the cracked glass cover in its packaging. I would have to return the entire set of 12 and then request a replacement. That's ridiculous! I am not going to send all of the fine pieces back in a big box, just for one piece. The box is very heavy. I have to get along with the set. I can deal with it, but please be aware of the problem.

👤The bowl was broken when I opened it. The box had seen better days. It was put inside a box that was clean and perfect for shipping. It seems that this damage was not caused by shipping. The other pieces look old and dusty. The box has been sitting around for a while.

The lifestyle of kitchens today is not the same as it was in the past. They are perfect for the new air fryers. I will put the bakeware in during preheat to avoid problems. Adding the results of the testing to the sales site would be a good idea, as would adding more information in the directions. These are 10X better than similar bakeware. Buy it!

👤The set was broken but I like it. They look like the sets my mom and grandma had. I would like to have that broken piece replaced. 👤This set is great. These are good for hot or cold dishes, and I like to make dips for parties. The garlic artichoke dip was cooked perfectly. I turned it on for a minute and it was fine, even though they probably aren't rated for the high heat of the broiler. Some people have complained that they didn't stack, so below are pictures of how I stack them to store in the cupboard. Stack the bowls and put the other two lids right side up.

I tried to make apple pie filling with crescent roll dough and then shape it on a piece of paper to use in my air fryer, but it didn't work out. My friends were not going. They didn't come out well. I tried an 8oz Ramekin, but didn't like it. I'm picky. I don't think they should be round. I was pretty sure these dishes would work. Between the descriptions of the size and the reviews, I could never tell what size they actually were. These were the perfect size for mixing the frozen, then thaw, biscuit I use with the apple pie filling and cinnamon sugar. I mix the biscuit, apple pie filling and cinnamon in a dish and then bake it in my air fryer for 10 minutes. I own a Cosori 5.8 quart. The time and temp work well. Not sure what other brands of air fryers should be set at. The size of these dishes is 8 inches from the outside of one handle to the outside of the other. The width is 4.75" At the handles and at the middle are the overall height. The top of the dish is covered with a portion of the bottom. The top and bottom of the dish are both 3.25" wide. The portion of the dish is about 1.5 inches deep. I hope this helps with a decision to purchase or not, but from my point of view they are wonderful!

👤These are small dishes that I love. I ordered four of them. Individual entree dishes, individual side dishes and also dips are perfect. I have seen some negative reviews because of the size, but they are for individuals and not a serving dish for the whole table. I have already made chicken pasta supreme and am looking forward to using them again.

I put the pan in the sink after dinner and it exploded all over my kitchen. There are shards of glass everywhere. I thought it was a mistake. I ordered this one on Amazon, right? I removed the pan from the oven and put it on the stove top, and it exploded. There are glass and food everywhere. It's amazing that no one was hurt in either of the blow ups. I will complain to Amazon and Pyrex about this dangerous product. Do not buy this review.

👤The baking dish is dangerous. It exploded in my oven mitt and all over the floor as I was removing it from the oven. One of the large pieces got stuck in my finger during the clean up. I searched "exploding Pyrex bakeware" and found a website with many similar experiences. Some of them had pieces that exploded on their tables, and even while sitting in their cabinets. They reported baking at different temperatures. Why are there no recalls? Why are they still being sold? I will not be using the 9 x13 one I purchased here either, as I already threw away the other one I bought through Amazon. I hope this review saves someone else from the mess and potential injury, and I will make a complaint to Pyrex as well. I have owned an amber colored one for over 30 years.

👤I didn't get what was pictured. Pyrex is on the bottom but the packaging is just bubble wrap. There is no outside packaging. There are ridges on the sides of the dish. I was trying to match my other Pyrex dishes.

👤The pan is old-school. The new products have an angle of the sides, but it is square. This is the least tapered version of a glass baking dish. The new ones have easy to use handles and the angle of the taper is severe, which means that whatever you are cooking will beicker than you want. The volume of food has to go somewhere and it can only go up. If you take away the capacity at the bottom of the dish, brownies will be thicker and all the edge pieces will be on one side. I prefer the old design and don't like the new one.

The dishes are oven and microwave safe, so they should work well for what I want to do. I'm trying to cut down on the quantities so they will probably work out to be the perfect size for a one-person pizza serving. The bottom of the dishes is not glazed, and that's where the vendor put their merchandise sticker. It took me more than an hour and a half to get the sticker off the dishes. It is obvious when a vendor does not open their product and use it as if they are a customer. If they did, we customers would not have to deal with the hassle of de-labeling. The failure was exemplified by the merchandise sticker on these. I would have given this product a fifth star if it weren't for that hassle.

👤I expect this product to last for a long time. I use these dishes for a lot of different things. You can use these to serve hot side dishes, such as olive and pickle dishes, or for brownie sundaes. These are a small entree size. They are small enough for a pasta side but not large enough for a pasta main. If that is what you are looking for, I would recommend them highly.
