Best Baking Dish Set with Lids

👤It's easy to clean, and that's my favorite thing about stoneware. The size and lid are my favorite things about this particular dish. I bought this after trying to make lasagna in my pyrex for the second time. If you cover your top layer with foil for the first half of the bake, it will get messy and you will risk overflow. It took me a long time to realize that a deeper dish in the kitchen would be good for me. The size is perfect for casseroles like lasagna. The lid doesn't seal. It works well for most baked dishes, but if you're making something where you don't want to lose a lot of water, you might want to use foil as well. I have no problem giving this baking dish 5 stars and a strong recommendation.

👤I use Pyrex style 9x13 or larger glass pans when making my family a meal. Once the cheese starts melting, these pans usually overflow, whether you use generous amounts of ingredients or typical recipe amounts. The days of having to put an additional cookie sheet or aluminum foil beneath to catch those messy drippings are over. The pan is deep enough to handle three layers without the need for extra noodles on the end. You can use 12 whole noodles without any issues, or overlap noodles slightly, either way the lasagna shapes up nicely. The arched lid prevents cheese from sticking to the top while cooking. The lid helps keep food warm. A beautiful dish that only required light hand washing was made for a quick clean up. Would definitely recommend.

👤The piece looks nice and it bakes and cleans well. I expected better marksmanship for the price. My lid is not straight. The inside lip is formed. If the lid is on it, it won't look good. It should have been made with better care. The top of the lid has a bubble on it. I wouldn't mind if it was on the sides, but the top of the lid is what is seen most when taking a dish to friends home.

👤I can't say enough good things about this casserole dish. It's a beautiful addition to my collection and has proven to be very durable as well as versatile. I've been using this casserole dish for a few weeks now to cook an array of dishes for a big crowd and can confidently say that this is my new favorite piece of bakeware. The stone helps cook my food evenly, and the lid keeps it nice and warm, which is great because sometimes I need to finish cooking other side dishes. It's easy to clean and the red color of the dish makes it stand out. This product is very good.

👤I wanted to make 4-layer lasagna. I liked the red finish and it cleaned up well. It's not tall enough to make 4-layer lasagna. The full length of a lasagna noodle does not fit because the corners are rounded and the sides are not straight. I had to cut the noodles. Since the dish was not tall enough for the layers, the filling was to the top. I couldn't use the cover.

👤I like the product. I gifted a perfect set to someone I gave the other set to. I could hear something rattling before opening the box. The large casserole dish was broken. The end was broken off. It came with a lot of other things I ordered from Amazon. The big box that came with the dish had no dents, so I believe it was broken before it was shipped. I contacted Amazon but have not heard back. No one ever got back to me about this, so I give 3 starts. I will not order anything like this again from Amazon. I will drive an hour to the store.

👤Ok. I sat for a day and a half soaking the casserole dishes, aluminum and glass because I was tired of trying to get cheese from them. I bought a set of ceramic cookware. I was looking for casserole dishes. These are great, I found them. The biggest dish is just a little smaller than my regular pans, but I think it's going to work out great because it's only 3 people in the house. The cheese doesn't stick anymore. It's easy to clean up without having to soak the cheese in the pan. I can do one for myself, the little one, and it will be enough for 2 dinners. They were packaged well and had styrofoam in between the pans and on the bottom. My kids will get old casserole pans.

👤I am happy with my Koov bakeware dishes. The items look the same as in the photos on Amazon. I use them daily and cook and bake all the time. When I picked up the box after the first shipment arrived, I could hear the ceramic pieces rattling. I was angry. Next, I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement so I can not complain. I am trying new recipes and my cooking skills are much better for a man. Koov is the best. There were no complaints. Good luck to everyone.

👤We were looking for dishes that were a bit larger than the ones we'd buy in a box store. We cook and bake a lot, but there are only two of us, and we wanted dishes that were a bit smaller since we aren't feeding 4 people like we used to. The higher oven temp allowance of 500 degrees F is what we needed since we cook a lot. Others only go to 400. It was very easy to clean. If you need slightly smaller dishes than the norm, good quality, and good with higher temperatures, these might be for you.

👤The set is beautiful. The dark blue is mine. It is navy ombré to black. It has a nice finish. The food cooks thoroughly and I haven't had any problems with stitching. I don't think I'd need any other bake ware, the three sizes are perfect for a nice dinner. These do not have any lids. It would be great if they did not end up with a beautiful set.

We didn't take it out of the box. I looked over the second set and found a blemish inside the 13x9 that had raw edges. I was afraid to cook with it. 👤These seem nice. They are easy to clean, but they are not as easy to clean as they say they are. These things are a nightmare to clean. The chicken breast was baked on. It was baked on chicken after being soaked overnight.

👤There are two different sizes of casserole dishes. Both of them have a blue print. Both will look great on your table. The casserole size is larger. I was surprised by the small dish, but realized it was a self or one serving. If you want to serve it in a small dish, you can put a regular serving in the large dish. They are hand wash and I will do either machine wash or hand wash. Your choice. These casserole dishes are the kind of dishes I like to use when I bring food to an event. The food is attractive and brings more attention to it. Expect a lot of praise. The upcoming holidays make this a good time to buy. It is also casserole weather, a little nip in the air in the East. 👤The set is beautiful to display. It goes with any theme. The glass seems thick and durable, but only time will tell. I am curious to see how they hold up in the dishwasher. The smaller dish is the perfect size for cornbread or a baked dip, and I can't think of a lot of other things it would be good for. I recommend. There were no chips or flaws. I will come back and let you know if it fades or gets damaged in the dishwasher.

👤It exploded in the oven. This isn't real Pyrex, it's dangerous junk. I reached in with a spatula to remove the fish from the dish that exploded when I tried to broil it. Real Pyrex is made from borosilicate which is very heat resistant and cheap lime glass. The Pyrex brand was sold by Corning in 1998 and the current owners use it as a brand name, but they don't make it out of actual pyrex glass. You can find references to exploding pyrex on the internet, including from Consumer Reports. I wish I'd done the search before I bought this, it's left me with an oven full of shattered glass. If you are looking for Pyrex, you should look for borosilicate baking dishes.

👤Poor reviewers had to clean shattered glass out of our ovens. This product is not oven safe. There is a product made from borosilicate glass. Pyrex used to be made of that. Please don't buy this product.

👤I have used Pyrex for years and purchased this pan last year. We don't use this a lot, but it had worked fine until today. I removed the pan and the loaf of meat from the oven when it was done because it was 350 degrees. One side of the Pyrex spilled all over the place. We only used the pan about 6 times and it is only 9 months old.

👤I didn't know that pyrex glassware is made of soda lime and not borosilicate like they used to be. I was looking for a brand that wouldn't shatter with temperature changes. The seller should note in their description that this glassware is not tempered. I wouldn't have made this purchase if I'd known the glass was soda lime. It was very misleading and disappointing.

👤These dishes are not for sale. The mine exploded! Look at it. They are exploding! Pyrex is facing a class-action lawsuit. The dishes can not handle high temperatures. When being removed from the oven, change and explode. It was dangerous and I experienced it. Thankfully, my children were not in the kitchen when it happened, and I was only hit in the hand.

👤I bought this set from Amazon and have used it a lot. I was baking 2 last night. The chicken breasts are non-frozen and have the oven set at 350 degrees. I heard a crash about 30 minutes later. The dish exploded in my oven. Glass was everywhere, not just big pieces. The pan broke apart when I removed the chicken breasts. It was a mess. Photos are attached. I spent hours trying to clean up the mess after the chicken couldn't be eaten. I have old Pyrex pieces that were made from a more heat-resistant glass, and I have never had an explosion issue with them. I will never buy Pyrex with small letters.

👤They don't make this stuff like they used to. These things exploded when they were removed from the oven. We followed the instructions. There was no contact with metal or cold. They exploded in a very dangerous way, sending glass and food all over the kitchen. Pyrex has been used for 40 years without a problem. The new versions seem to be dangerous.

👤I don't like it when sellers give incorrect information. This was described as 9 x13, not so. It is 12 x 8. I bought it because I thought it would be bigger than the one I already have. I was happy to find a casserole dish. The package was the same size as my Le Creuset one. The inches make a difference when making a large amount of food. The casserole is well packaged and not broken. I would give it 4 if it wasn't for the size discrepancy. I will give it to a friend or use it. Not worth the hassle of returning.

👤It is a beautiful casserole dish, but it has one big issue. I think the center support is built in the bottom. It is too long. It sticks out farther than the sides. The dish can't be sitting in the bottom. It is all over the place. It will have to be placed on a thick mat to be usable. Disappointed!

The size is perfect for a full casserole meal for a group or will work for smaller amounts for two. I don't have to mix dishes half way through cooking because it heats evenly. It's well made. If that is an issue for you, it is a little heavy. My wife likes the way it looks in the center of the dinner table. Also cleans up quickly. It fits well.

👤The product was packaged in an Amazon box. The box that I opened was in good shape, but the box marked "KOOV" was heavily damaged. I was surprised that Amazon would ship a box in a shape, since an employee of the company had noticed that the box was badly damaged when it was packaged. The lid of the box was cracked when I opened it. I will return it. I was looking for a big casserole dish with a lid, but it was a bit smaller than I wanted, but I found a good one at a cheaper price at Crate and Barrel.

👤This is the best way to cook a brisket. It's large enough for a thick cut 5 lbs. brisket, lots of sliced onions, and 2 cups of wine, and with the help of a piece of paper between the lid and the vessel to perfect the seal, it made a heavenly week of meals for us. I'm looking forward to using it in my dishes. It is easy to clean and perfect to look at. If I could, I would give it a million stars.

👤This is a nice set. There are different sizes to make any kind of dish or dessert. The lids snap on tightly and are harder plastic. The set was in perfect condition when it arrived. They are not the same size and shape as traditional baking dishes, and are shallow. I am happy to have the set in my kitchen for big family meals.

Very pleased with the purchase. They were well packaged and there was no wiggle room to worry about damage. These pans are amazing! It is easy to wash and dishwasher safe. The largest is what I go to. Nothing sticks to them. It's hard to sit in water to wash.

👤I have to return the set because the casseroles have air bubbles in them that will cause them to crack when used in the oven at high temperatures, I know this from experience. I would have loved to have been able to keep this set as it looks amazing, but I know they will not last long due to the air bubbles.

👤All of the dishes had air bubbles in them and small divots from where I am assuming air bubbles formed by the surface of the dish. Glass dishes can explode with air bubbles. The seller gave me a full refund, however I would have preferred to have the dishes. They could have recycled them instead of having quality control at the factory. There is no excuse to send out a 4 piece product that has defects. I would rather have paid more for better quality and waited longer to receive it, even though we are still going through a Pandemic which is causing labor issues.

👤I bought this dish a month ago. I used it for the first time. I loaded it with my delicious enchilladas, put it in the oven, closed the oven, and heard an explosion. I opened the oven to see this. Our meal was ruined, the inside of our oven was destroyed, and glass came tumbling out all over the floor, because the entire baking dish shattered. I have 2 dogs and 2 kids. I didn't need shards of glass everywhere. I couldn't believe my brand new dish had shattered. After an hour of arguing with Amazon, they finally reimbursed me, after they passed me from one representative to another. It was very frustrating. Don't buy this dish!

👤I bought this for transporting hot sweet potatoes, but was disappointed. The sauce leaked all over the carrier and then through it, even though the lid looked like it was on. There isn't a strap to hold the dish tightly in the container, and the pouch to hold the hot/cold pack is ripped. I usually love Pyrex products but don't waste your money on them like I did.

👤It's perfect for our holiday needs. I usually don't need to take hot food back and forth. When cooking for a crowd, I tend to make big batches. If necessary, this puppy will allow me to cook multiple items in cookware that is microwaveable. The glass baking dishes that come with the bag are not really necessary additions to my kitchen, but I like that I don't have to worry about my French White pieces breaking or disappearing. The bag is made of high quality material, and the zippers seem to last. Chicken casseroles and mac & cheese stay hot all the way through my commute until people are ready to eat. The only thing I would change is that the inside was resistant to water. I didn't use the top on the big dish once when I made too much, and I had a few leaks from using tin foil, but a quick wipe down would be the only requirement to clean up after a spill. The little heating pads keep your food warm if it doesn't do what it's supposed to. Make sure to place hot underneath the food and cold on top of it.

👤I bought and returned the 4-piece at Target and the 9-piece at Amazon. Pyrex has portables glass bakeware and food storage sets. The Easy Grab Oblong Dish had the same crack in all three sets I've gotten. There was no protection to the glassware set in the product packing. They told me to return it after trying to call Pyrex's hotline number. I've liked my Pyrex products for a long time. These sets are not meant for me.

👤There was a gel pack that was stuck to the cardboard inside the box and had dried out on the dish and the carrier. I had to clean everything and get the dried gel off. I would have sent it back but I needed the carrier because the handle on my old one broke so I had to use it immediately. I wish there was a way to get a replacement gel pack instead of having to return the entire set.
