I will keep it and try it. Over time, it may be hard to get the residue off.

👤This bakeware is large and looks great. Trying to remove the sticker from the glass. The lid is impossible. I made a mistake using the rough side of my sponge while using dish soap and hot water. There are scratches on it. Why do they put a sticker on PLEXIGLASS that won't work? Why not put a piece of cardboard in the dish with a message? I think I'm not the only one who's complained about this.

👤I bought this pan to use in an oven. It works well in both the BOV8xx and the BOV900 ovens. It is a really nice pan. The first thing that one should be aware of is the actual pan dimensions. This is not at a pan of that size. The pan dimensions are 11" x 7.5" at the bottom and12" x 8.75" at the top. The ones that matter the most are the inside dimensions. The pan has a depth of 2.25". The lip of the pan is a bit thicker than the wall, but it's not too high. If you're looking for a pan that's true to the size you're looking for, this isn't the one for you. If you're looking for a pan that can be used in a Breville BOV8xx series oven, this is a good choice. It has a white glaze, but it's not clear if it's the same as a fine porcelain, and it's not clear if it's the same as a vitrified material. It does function as a stoneware pan, and that's what matters in this case. The importer seems to think that the pan needs some stickers. The glue on the back is easy to clean with soap and water. The one on the inside of the pan is not the same as the one on the outside. You will need a scraper and some denatured alcohol to dispose of that sticker. This pan seems to work well in the larger Breville ovens and is a good pan for the price.

I got the smaller one because I didn't have enough space on my countertop for the larger one. I have many recipes that call for a 13x9 inch casserole. The one on the outside is 9&3/8 inches wide. The casserole is deep and has a gentle slope. It fits in my Breville, with a small room on the sides and a lot of room front to back. This dish has a sticker on it from HIC Kitchen that says "Oven-To-Table Fine Porcelain" and "Oven, Broiler, Microwave, Freezer & Dishwasher Safe". If there are any issues when I use it, I will report them here.

We have 4 noodle layers and 3 full layers of meatless lasagna in here without any overflow, which can happen in our reg 9x13 pan. It isn't. 2. The color is described as white, but it is actually ivory. My dishes don't look good against the off-white because they are an actual white. I was going to return it, but I decided to keep it. It's a nice pan.

Some of the larger items have cracked in the bottom, some are from the glass being shaped, others are within the structure known as a fissure or Runner. Hold them up to the light and look at the bottom closely.

I did some research and found out that the Pyrex today is not the one your grandma used. They started using soda-lime glass after 1998. I have never tried to take Pyrex from the freezer to the oven. I don't want to think about what could've happened. I chose this pan because it's made with high quality glass. I've put this pan to the test to see if it's any good. I took it from the freezer to the oven, from the microwave to the oven, and from the oven to a wet countertop. It passed all of the tests with flying colors. The glass dish is sturdy and well made. The glass is thicker than my other dishes. The food stays warm when out of the oven. The handles go down the entire pan, instead of just a 3 or 4 inch one. It's easier to get in and out of the fridge. It cleans up well in the dishwasher. I'll definitely be ordering more since I'm replacing my Pyrex dishes.

👤I think there are false advertising claims in this description. I wish I had looked at other people's pictures. Please do so now if you haven't done so before. One person has a picture of the back of the insert. It's safe to take it from the freezer to the oven, but the product tells you to avoid extreme temperature changes. It's likely that it's not borosilicate glass, which would be able to handle a shift from the freezer to the oven. They advise you to place something underneath the dish when you take it out of the oven, so that it doesn't come into contact with a cold countertop that would cause it to shatter. I bought this because of my safety concerns and I'm disappointed that it's not borosilicate glass. I'm not returning it because I need it to cook dinner tonight, but I won't be using it after that, and I don't want to forget that this isn't a safe dish.

👤The old pyrex 9 x 13 pan was scratched. I was used to the borosilicate glass and decided to keep it. The pan is a bit deeper than the pyrex I had. The width is the same. I am careful not to put it on a cold surface when I take it out of the oven and it cools before being washed.
