Best Baking Drying Rack with Pan

👤This pan is great for baking cookies. The texture on the bottom makes it stick to the pan. The obsidian black is a nice color. Nothing seems to stick yet for my baking, so it is easy to rinse clean. It is a nice quality baking sheet. I like the quality of it so much that I may buy more as it looks nice in my baking.

👤I bought two of these pans to use for Christmas cooking. I spent Christmas eve cooking and baking with these pans. There was a lot of build up in the pans. I baked fish on top of the rack. I loved them! But them. When it was time to clean them, I soaked them in warm water and let them sleep. This is what I woke up to today, as I do with all my pans. My pans are ruined. I have had my 40 dollar pans for 40 years. I loved these pans for 6 hours and then I had to clean them. I'm very disappointed. I wish you a Merry Christmas.

👤I will definitely order another one of these pans. Excellent quality, I love how sturdy this pans is. I checked the Amazon description and it said it was dishwasher safe, but I was hesitant to put it in the dishwasher. I should have washed them with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and dish soap, but they came out with dried spots. I tried and the spots came out. The pan's finish looked scratched. See the picture! Hand wash the pan. There is no clean up if the pan is lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper.

👤The pan and rack are small. I like it. The material rusts because of the rolled in edges that retain water. It leaves brown rust water when I pick it up. I think I will have to return it. It's the perfect size and would be great for baking fish.

👤The pan and rack are heavy, so that's a plus, but there are problems. There is a heavy edge, but there is a gap between the side of the pan and the rim, so you can't really dry it well, so rust will build up over time. The top edge of the pan has rough spots that look like a knife was run over it. There is a spot on the rack edge that is stuck and can not be removed. I haven't cooked it yet, but I think it will be a great pan.

👤Within a month my pan is starting to rust in the crevices on the back side and is completely discolored from hot substances making contact with it. The pan is not holding up the way I expected, but the rack is fine. It works well for cooling and drying out food, but the fit and finish fell apart very quickly. I expected it to be a bit more durable, but maybe there's some user error here, I should have seasoned it or it's not for use with high temperature liquids or foods.

👤The pan/rack set is perfect for me. It was used for drying salted steaks in the fridge. The 1/2 size sheet pan takes up a lot of space. This one is large enough to fit on the top shelf. Excellent quality and weight. It's great for baking and other cooking tasks, if you use it on the small size, and I use it to bake a few sweet potatoes at a time. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

👤I'm not normally a reviewer, but here I am. The concept is good, a 3-tier expanding cooling rack that collapses to make it compact for storage while providing 3 distinct surface areas for cooling cookies and the like. The item seems to be loved by others here. I'm not enthusiastic about it. It can be difficult to make the locking tabs under the top and bottom rack line up with the bars, but maybe I didn't spend enough time using it to get used to it. It's a little tedious to clean but I could probably get used to it and just deal with it. I had to return the item for a more serious reason. I washed it once before I used it, then washed it again after I used it, and I am already seeing signs of rust. I'm returning it because I want the thing to last and it's already not looking like a promising expectation. I don't know what metal rack-type products are like today, particularly ones that are inevitably going to get wet at some point, either through washing or according to its function, they all seem to rust in relatively short order. This one is not different from the crowd in that regard. If these companies are going to charge fifteen dollars for a metal rack, they need to step up their game in making durable products.

👤This product was opened today. It is used to organize the countertops when the family comes for a big event. The sandwich buns, loaves of bread, and general counter cluttered needs to be better organized. This solution is perfect. Between the shelves is a small area. The loaves of bread have room to spare. Just what we needed. An excellent purchase!

👤The rack is very well made. I was surprised to find that the top and middle shelves lifted up to make it easier to get to the bottom shelf. I use it to dry herbs from the garden and will use it at holiday time for baking. It is nice that a quality company like Wilton still exists.

👤It was difficult to figure out how it stood up, and some parts bent easier than they should have. Once you figure it out and unbind the bent parts, it works for the purpose it was intended for.

👤There are lots of reviews for stacking cake rack which commented on instability and not being clipped together. The only reviews of this were on Amazon. The shelf is secured on the frame. Well made and sturdy. There were a lot of biscuits and depth between the shelves. I only have a small kitchen so this is a great space saver. It was more expensive, but it was worth it.

👤The copper is pretty and it's sturdy. I use it to hold earrings both horizontally and vertically. This is probably not a typical use, but I recommend it. I have a lot of French hooks and kidney wires in my earrings. I think I will be able to fit 80 or so before it gets too crowded. There was no comment on its use as a cooling rack. Perfect for French hooks. It looks very nice. Doesn't come with mounting hardware. If you have an earring problem, this is the use you should use.

👤I have been very impressed with the baking products from the NordocWear line. The exception has been the big sheet cooling rack. It arrived warped from the manufacturer. The cooking rack is not straight. They fit their big sheet pan perfectly and being convex is not a good thing. I thought I would keep it, but how big a deal could it be? A lot. The cooling rack is the same height as the lip. I was trying to cook the chicken strips in the pan and a few fell off. I will return this one and order another one, hoping that it was a mistake. The new one arrived with a slight curve to it that made it easier to eat. It's much happier with this one.

👤I have accepted that any product from Nordic Ware will be rejected by the company. I requested an additional discount for the Bundt pan, but let this grid slide since I knew the risk. It is something to consider if you are not getting much of a discount.

👤This is a sturdy cooling rack. I was stabbed in the thumb by a tiny thin wire near the edges of the grid wires. I expected a premium product when I bought it. I used my pliers to make it work. It got me, but not one of the children. I wouldn't buy this again.

The packaging says it's Made in China, which is disappointing because I associated the brand to manufacture in the USA. I haven't used it yet, but it feels sturdy and has a coating on it. I'm excited to use it.

👤These pans are really nice. I will be able to use the smaller pans for something if they were bigger. The pan is large. They are a little lighter than my old ones and so far have cleaned up nicely. I like the racks that are included. I think the price is right and would buy again if I needed to. I would buy the large one.

👤I have had these for over a year and love them as much as I did when I got them. There is a I have one complaint, but I didn't think it was worth complying with. The pan with the largest area is about 4x4” It doesn't affect the baking at all, it looks like it's dirty. If I could have it replaced, I would.

👤These are doing a great job so far. It's easy to use and clean the dishwasher. . These are not as thick as my older aluminum pans, but they are still thin and strong. I'm happy I got a set, and I might get a few more too.

👤These pans are gorgeous. I like the mirror finish. I only used them once to cook something. I will update this post as I use more of these. I prefer to hand wash my sheet pans, but I usually just put them on a drying rack. Next time I wash them, I will put a towel on them to dry them off. This doesn't affect the ability to cook, but it is noticeable. The cooling racks are standard, nothing more to say. I am happy with these at the moment.

👤A nice heavy gauge steel. You should pay attention to the size specifications. To see if these will do what you want. I bought the set because I needed a cooling rack for cooking. I'm not sure what you could use the smaller sizes for in the kitchen, the smallest rack seems useless but the smallest pan makes a very good rolling tray.

👤I'm critical when it comes to reviews and how I spend my money. I bought with my own money. When I make a purchase, I rely on others reviews. These have exceptional quality, have not been warped, tarnished or lost their original finish, have held up to a lot of use and abuse, and are not always cleaned after cooking. Happy with these!

👤They are slightly smaller than you think. I read the description. The cookware is still great. I think I will get a larger tray and be set for every occasion. That is the reason for the 4 stars.

👤I love this brand. When it arrived, I loved it. I used it to make a pizza. The pan was in the oven. I was surprised. This isn't important for a pizza. If you were baking, your batter would flow over. I wanted to exchange the pan that I had for two weeks. It was difficult because of Amazon. I didn't have the box in which it arrived. I wasn't going to look for a half sheet box to return the product. I just print out a slip and drop the product off at a facility. I threw out the pan because it was not an option. It was sad that it didn't work out and that a replacement was hard.

👤It was fine for a couple of weeks. Other reviewers have had issues with warping, but I have not. It is impossible to keep clean. The micro-grooves make them fit into channels which can only be cleaned one at a time with the corner of a rag or brush, and they serve as perfect spots for oils and grease to pool and bake on. You end up cleaning the pan one square inch at a time. You're left with a non-stick surface over the raised 50% of the pan and the other 50% of the pan has burnt oil in it, which sticks like hell. I stick a silicone baking mat in it for anyone who has already purchased it. For everyone else, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you can find the cheapest pan, you can buy the mats. They are easy to clean.

👤Wow. I was excited to swap out my tarnished avolon pans for these beautiful ones. There was a "pop" and one of the pans was warped within a few minutes. It was disappointing after all the hype.

👤I'm pretty sure this is a good pan. I thought it was 10x15, but it is not. I was disappointed because I was going to make a Texas sheet cake all day.

👤The product is easy to clean. Other people have stated that the pan warps. The first time I used it to roast veggies, the pan made a loud noise in the oven and stayed warped when I removed it. After it was washed it came back to it's original shape. If it warps, I will send it back, but I will try it again at a lower temperature.

👤I love this rack because I work the graveyard shift. I had it for 2 weeks. I've used it to cook a lot of things, including fried shrimp, french fries, bacon, chicken beast, baked potato's, and roast veggies. It works well. I bought it as a second cooling rack because my cookies kept disintegrating through the slats of my other one, and I didn't think it would make a difference. The air circulates better than my air fryer, so I tried it for cooking, and it worked great. I use a nylon dish brush and sink sprayer to clean it. It's easy to store. It's worth the cost.

👤I'm trying to buy American and I want products that are free of harmful chemicals. I don't want to buy Chinese products. How many shills can be bought in 2020? My experience is a professional chef. The chicken was placed on the wire rack and brushed with lite BBQ sauce. 2. There were permanent stains on the pan from BBQ sauce that dripped onto it. The pan was cleaned with soapy cloth. The end of the sponge scrubber is soft after a lot of use. The Americoat coating was scratched off by this. I said very little elbow-grease during cleaning. The reviews should have been listened to. The product is not safe for use and should not be sold on Amazon. Remove this product from Amazon.

👤I think it will help prevent warping by being heavy/solid for the size. It seems to clean up well. I just unwrapped it from the packaging and the coating is rubbing off at 4 of the 6 contact points between the sheet and the rack, the other 2 have rough patches started. The rack had been wrapped in additional cardboard. There are 6 starting points for additional and expedited chipping, and it makes me uneasy.

👤The pan is already garbage and it is unsafe to use it for a long time. If you want a pan for home use that is safe to use for 6 to 11 months, this is the pan for you. The customer was unhappy with the purchase.

👤The rating was lowered to 2. I originally thought it was the benefit of the doubt and went with a 4. The picture shows the coating coming off with not much use. I will not use this pan without lining it with foil. Not what I expected. I was torn between giving it 3 or 4 stars. I was hoping for a 5 star product. I returned the first one because it had a lot of scratches and needed better packaging. It was heated to 450 degrees and warped, but it was within their stated operating temperature range. The cheap ones warp at 350. The non-stick surface is nice. I will probably buy at least one more from USA pan since they are made in the U.S., but at 2x the price of others, I will also be buying some of the lower priced competitors as I replace some of my older sheets. I used the included rack to cook bacon. I put the rack in the dishwasher despite the description that it is not dishwasher safe because it was hard to clean after. 👤When searching for a non-stick cooling rack, this comes up. I was expecting it to be coated with something non-stick since it says " easy to clean" in the description. It's a nice size, I bought two sets and all four of them were nicely stacked. The grid is tighter for more support, it can be used for many applications, and it holds flat fragile cookies well. It's the same as any other cooling rack I've ever used - you have to scrub it if you want it to be clean. Each rack was packaged in its own plastic and cardboard box. The legs are a little stiff but lock nicely and aren't as swingy as others. They don't fold flat. These will take up a lot of space. I could get them by folding legs down and stacking them against each other and then I could get it down to 2.5 inches tall.

👤I use these to make beef jerky in my oven. The top oven is six inches from the rack to the heat elements. I wanted them to fit. I usually do my jerky outside in my smoker, but have been wanting to make it easier during this cold time. These fit perfectly. They are easy to stack. I put them on a cookie sheet and loaded them with meat. It was easy to clean up after the jerky was dried. One of the racks was bowed down in the middle. I tried to bend it. I could not. I don't think it's a big problem for my use, but maybe for a different use. I am not a fan of them being purple. It is all they have.

Unless you are storing it flat, which most users won't, it's really annoying that you have to hold the legs when stacking to use, or put away, or take out. I bought the ones that have legs that stay closed after I returned.

👤These are great. It's important that they're sturdy. The grid is even more important. The lines run both ways, which prevents cookies and other items from falling through. The sturdiness makes up for the fact that there isn't as much room between the racks when stacked. These are much preferred by a lot of people. They should have come in other colors. Is it purple, really? The color is okay. They are very nice in every way. This is the second set I've purchased. They were used for all my baking.

👤Excellent! Well made product. Measure the inside of your pan to make sure it's not too small. You want that measurement to be at least 1/2 inch larger than the size listed. The Nordic Ware pan is 1/2 inch too wide. I bought them knowing they wouldn't fit but with a plan. I used a pair of channel lock pliers to grip at the corners and the bar and bend each side up to fit inside the pan with the feet touching the bottom and the rack flat as shown in the photo. The wires are thick and the rack is made to be bent but it can be done. My pans now fit perfectly.

👤These are great racks! I would have bought them a long time ago. I use them for baking meat and cooling baked goods. I use them for roasting our turkey. They are large enough to fit in my sink but small enough to take up most of the space in my jelly roll pans. I don't spend 30 minutes scrubbing to get them clean, but small enough to hold a 14 lbs turkey. Would definitely recommend. When cooking with baker's joy or oil, I always spray it with something to make it easy to clean. Not sure how easy it would be to clean them without applying oil first.

👤The previous rack was a mess to clean, even though they were supposedly non-stick. A little cooking spray before use. They sparkle when we run them through the dish washer. No fighting! We bought them because they are a bit smaller than some of the other racks. The fit was perfect on our cookie sheets.

👤I use the Rubbermaid 12qt commercial tank for sous vide and have been looking for a rack that would fit in the bottom of it. The fit is perfect and the price is great.

👤I bought these small cooling racks for the purpose of cooling meat and fish before putting them in the refrigerator. It's best to cool it on a plate. The ends of the wires are attached to the frame and can scratch or poke. If the ends had been smoothed, I would have given them 5 stars.

👤I bought a rack to hold a rib roast in my fridge. The footprint of the rack is perfect and doesn't take up a lot of space. I don't see why it wouldn't perform well in that capacity too, even if I didn't clean it or try baking with it. The rack is too large to fit into my cookware for the oven. The little foot bumps wouldn't touch the pan, but it could be laid on the edges of the stoneware.
