Best Baking Emulsions Lemon

👤I received butter and nut extract instead of cake batter extract. I know it is the same thing. I thought I paid for something. The box was old and there was a sticker on it that said Best Buy date of 6-16-21 but the bottle inside said Aug 18-19. Advertising is false and disappointing. I have 6 months to use the extract that I paid for.

👤I used this flavor with normal cookies before I went to Keto. I found out that the flavoring is no longer carried locally. I was happy to find that I could order it from Amazon. People ask me how I make my cookies. I'll never tell them, but here you go, Amazon! I use this to add that extra special flavor to my baked goods. That is always a hit!

👤The flavor is not very strong. The worst part was that the company felt the need to add food dye to the product. I don't need coloring to have flavor. I am very disappointed that I can't use this for my family as they have allergies to red and yellow dye. I am not happy. I think there is a better product out there as this flavor was okay. You could tell it was not natural because of the amount of flavor needed.

This item is not eligible for returns. Well dang! I think that the seller Lready knew they were advertising a lie. Don't buy people.

👤I don't know why so many people are complaining in the reviews. The extract is not a flavor, it is a name. It tastes the same and is a great extract for cakes. I double checked the expired date on my bottles when they arrived and it's good until 2025.

👤The smell of the product doesn't keep it's flavor after it's made. I could not taste the cake batter after my cookies dried. It is made with food coloring. It takes more food coloring than normal to change the color of the icing. It's a strange color. I will use it again but not for royal icing.

👤Terrible second purchase. The first purchase was pure extract. Well done! The second bottle was awful. The smell and taste of alcohol and floral aroma is completely wrong. There is no coconut flavor. It's striking how different the two are. What happened? Can't use it. A big bottle was bought. It was Mad. Now looking elsewhere.

👤I've only been able to find artificial flavoring in the stores, but this is the first time I've bought real coconut extract. I love coconut, but can't stand the taste of coconut flavoring. This stuff is wonderful. I've finally found something that tastes like coconut. My first use of this product was in a cake, I added it to a cake mix and made a coconut cake. I'm excited to try it in my other baked goods.

👤Incredible. Really. All extracts are not the same. This is the best extract I have ever tried. It tastes great. When I put a drop or 2 on my tongue, it has a strange, unpleasant taste. This extract is amazing. It's seriously. It tastes like it was squeezed from a coconut. I didn't know an extract could taste so natural. It does a great job when used in the making of food. I was surprised by how great this was. The price is the best anywhere. Thank you to the people who made this extract. I am going to throw out the flavors I have that were made by different companies. 👤What happened? The 8oz bottle that I bought a few months ago was wonderful. I had to return the first bottle because it was leaking and didn't have a preventative seal cap on it, the second bottle was pure alchohol and didn't taste like coconut at all. Will return this bottle as well. Consistency is important in a food production business like mine.

👤I bought this to flavor my coffee and am very happy with the result. Adding a few drops to each cup really enhances the flavor of the extract. Adding coconut to the coffee grounds makes it fragrant and addicting, and many people asked where I got it from, "my coffee brings all the boys to the yard." 4oz of coconut extract is a very reasonable price. There is a small plastic bulge inside the cap that can be used to make a single drop of extract at a time, just close the cap securely, tilt the bottle, remove the cap and there should be a small drop of extract on there. I will definitely try other flavors in the future because I am very satisfied with this product.

👤Two years ago, I bought this extract and enjoyed it a lot. I ordered another bottle a few weeks ago and the price was good. The extract tastes only of plastic in the new bottle. One can't tell what the intended flavor is. I don't remember if the first bottle was glass or plastic, because it took a long time between bottles. The second bottle has an expired date on it.

👤This review is for a drink. The product is not as good as the normal bottles of orange extract. I usually get a nice orange yogurt with 2 ounces of the 1 oz variety in 64 ounces of plain yogurt. The yogurt had a slight orange flavor and I put in 8 ounces. This product was able to water down my yogurt and make it runny because of all the added water and alcohol. I wouldn't buy this again. I will keep the normal small bottles. They have a very strong flavor.

👤There is an update. After writing this review, I got a hankering to peel a blood orange. I put the peel in a jar with the extract and waited a couple weeks. Much improved! The orange was left out of my batches. It's going to sit for a couple more weeks before straining. I have been inspired to make my own extracts. Is strong liquor like Everclear, but also vodka possible? Do you have a food that deserves flavor removal? Yes. It takes a few weeks. You shouldn't have to flavor brand name extracts, now! The reviews are for different flavors. I would give a different rating for other flavors, but Pure Orange is the only one I would do that for. There are alcohol, water, and oil of orange listed. I bet many brands of orange extract have the same ingredients. I bet this isn't bad as far as orange extracts go. If you don't know the way orange extract tastes, it might taste like alcohol with a lot of water, and you'll end up with a carton of orange juice. Just so you know. We use a lot of almond extract and lemon extract in our keto versions of our favorite old treats. I think this is one extract bottle that will be almost as full in a year as it is right now.

👤I had never bought orange extract before, but I kept finding recipes that called for it. I've decided that it's not for me after using it a number of times. The true flavor of oranges is not adequately recreated by the flavor. I'm not critical of this brand. I think all brands have a responsibility to share failing. I prefer to use a combination of orange rind and orange juice from a fresh orange, and frozen concentrated orange juice in an amount slightly greater than the amount of orange extract called for by a recipe. FCOJ is 4 times more concentrated than regular orange juice, so it delivers true orange flavor without adding too much liquid to a batter.

👤I wanted to make a low-fat version of the classic "low-cholesterol" Cointreau and needed orange to make it taste better. This does the trick at a lower cost than the little bottles of "Orange Extract" found in grocery stores. The rest of the recipe consists of fresh-squeezed lime juice. Oh, and some booze too.

👤I bought this to make my own syrup. This flavor is so potent that the syrup itself turned out to be a failure. It made the whole batches too bitter. It will not work out well if you pour it. The maple syrup was added to 3 cups. Start small and work your way up. This flavor is not being masked. 👤It's common sense to not use too much. I made a pound cake and decided to use 2 grams instead of one. I had a slight taste when eating them fresh. I left them in the freezer for 2 days and tasted them again, but there was no aftertaste. I used 3 cups sugar, 1 cup butter, softened 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, 2 cups lemon flavor, and 6 large eggs.

👤This has a very fresh lemon scent, which is unlike a lot of the other flavors. I've used it in a variety of things. It's not overpowering, but just about right. I used a small amount of frosting and it was perfect. 3-4 drops in the pasta water, 4-5 drops in Hollandaise sauce, and 3-4 drops in a cocktail. I will purchase again. I'm finding ways to use lemon that I never did before. Very pleased with the product.

The flavour is more potent than extracts because they are water based. The lemon emulsion I used for 12 muffins was amazing. I would usually add 1 to 2 ounces of lemon juice to get the lemon flavour. I want to try all of them, so I would like to have more of them on prime.

A little goes a long way. I've made several different types of chocolates. If you want that alcohol flavor without the calories and effects of alcohol, this product is for you. I have not tried cooking or baking with these. I think they should be fine for baked goods and sauces as I have used other flavors from the same brand in baked goods and they turned out really good.

👤The bottles are thrown into the shipping box with no secondary seal under the cap. Some bottles in my shipment had caps that were not securely tightened, which resulted in spilled product in the bottom of the shipping carton. The coconut dumped 1/3 of its volume into the bottom of the box, along with smaller amounts of other flavors. The plastic seal around the cap and bottle neck is not strong enough to keep the cap from leaking.

👤I started having horrible stomach issues and everything was great until then. The stomach issues it can cause are after learning about the ingredients of propel. I stopped drinking it. My stomach issues went away. I recommend you read the ingredients carefully before buying. I pay attention to what I put in my body. I didn't dig deep enough. I mean it's just water with flavors? Wrong. Do your research.

I was hoping that the water would be good, but it wasn't. I don't know. The great-tasting "ICE" brand of sparkling waters had more vitamins and minerals than the "cherry" water. I didn't care about the water being carbonated, but it would have been nice if it had been. A lack of carbonation was fine with me. GOOD CHERRY TASTE is essential for me and was sorely lacking here.

It's horrible to consume as a beverage flavor Additive, even if it's better when cooked or pre-treated. It tastes like a cleaning product and is bitter, but not like lime extract. It took about 5 ounces of syrup to overcome the bitterness of the "lime" flavor, and even with that, it was just terrible. The kind of taste that makes you vomit. If you want to taste the extract straight from the bottle, you should keep a pair of scissors handy. It's so funny to drop some in a friend's drink while they are unaware.

👤The only thing in the box was the package. The bottomless had a leak in the box. If the smell is any indication of the quality of flavor, it would be A-Mazing! I am definitely not using it because it leaked and had no sign of being sealed. I don't know if it's safe to use it.

👤I bought this after buying many other flavors of OliveNation. I like them all for my cooking needs. I put the Key Lime on the shelf after I received it. It was only 1/3 full with the seal on it. I had to open it. I'm not asking for anything. The bottle was not full, but there were no signs of leaking. It is wonderful. Making dessert with lime jello.

👤I saw some reviews that said this was good for soda stream water. It isn't. If you want to flavor water, don't use this oil. It doesn't mix well with water and the flavor is weak. The rubber top of my water bottle popped off when I tried to squeeze it into it. I'm giving this 5 stars because I think it's great at what it's supposed to be used for.

👤After reading a few reviews, I bought it. It is obvious that it is artificial. I can't tell if it has an extract mixed in. The smell is almost soapy and the flavor is similar to artificial concentrated essence, which I grew up with in Australia. Would not buy again. I also bought maple from the same brand. At least it tastes like maple. It's lime hair wash.

👤I asked for a refund because there was no protevtion covering on the bottle and anyone could see what was in it. I poured it down the drain. Do not know what rhis is supposed to be. There is no food safety in this item, so they have to be laws against this.

👤I think it brings extra flavor to my key lime pie because it smells like it. If you make cakes, pies or dessert with key lime, you will be very satisfied. It's an excellent price. I would definitely buy this product.
