👤Wow! I was surprised when I bought this kit last minute for my first attempt at a tier wedding cake. The items inside the packaging were in good shape despite being a little beat up. The kit allowed me to create a masterpiece despite the fact that the cake leveler did not work as I needed it to, but it did allow me to create a masterpiece. It's a good investment for a beginner.

👤I don't know how they fit all the stuff into this box, but once you open it, there's no way to put them back in the box for storage. Before you open, have a plan. The products are mediocre in quality, like you bought them from the dollar store. It is still an ok value for all the things you get, especially if you will use every single item in there. If you don't want to use all the items in there, then it's better to just buy them individually and get better color coordinated tools. This would be a great gift for your niece who is 13 to 17 years old. There are a lot of things that are better quality and cheaper at Ross/Marshall's or Fred Meyer. This scale is easy to use and accurate, it's convenient when a recipe calls for an ingredient in grams and you don't have the tools to measure. In our video, you can see it quickly turn on. The unit can be changed while the item is on the scale. Within seconds, it turns off. We've used this scale many times over the last few years and we still use the same batteries. The scale has small grips on it. It's a great price and scale.

👤The scale is terrible. You pay for what you get and I only paid $8. The weight reading is moving. I used a scale that was side by side and weighed 4 grams. The other scale gave exactly 4 while this one went back and forth from 3 to 5. I wish I had spent more money. I work in law enforcement and need more precise weights.

👤The scale is easy to use, pretty accurate, and sleek, but I had an issue with the actual read out. If you place a bowl or plate on top of the flat top, it will block the screen. You have to look under the curve of the bowl or place a thinner box on top of the bowl to see if you can push back the bowl. The scale would have been 5 stars, but the fact that you can't see the display without going through a mission is pretty annoying. It was the larger version that was sent free of charge after I gave it 3 stars, which negates the issue I mentioned above. The newer version of the one I was sent has the read out to the side which seems more practical. I had to raise my initial 3 stars to 4 for customer service.

👤I had a hard time figuring out how to rate this product. It is designed to weigh small amounts of food. It is well designed. That is all it does to deliver on its intended function. The zero function is coupled to the measuring function. When you put a dish on the scale then zero the display, the resulting value will include the weight of your finger pushing the button. The product doesn't measure the weight of food as advertised. The designer is not an engineer. I would recommend a different product. I will return this and find a better product. I will update this review with my findings when I do. I gave it two stars because. It looks nice.

👤Not sensitive to low weights. The scale is useless for measuring out items that are in the low single digits of grams. You can only work around it by putting something heavy on the scale, then putting the measuring paper on top of that, and then pouring the ingredient. The scale I bought from Amazon did not have this problem. The scale is not perfect, on the order of 10-20%. If you put a cup on the scale and measure a significant amount of ingredients, it can be tested easily. Remove the cup and put a different cup on the scale and pour in what should be 20 grams from the first cup. It will be different. The scale is trash. The last scale I bought was accurate to less than 1%.

👤I already had a lemon zester, so I was reluctant to buy another one. I thought you are 73 years old, so treat yourself. It is a better tool. You need less pressure to make a bigger quantity. Buy it.

👤I was impressed by the tool this grater has. I didn't think it would be this good. I've been using a box grater for grating cheese before I got the Deiss PRO grater. The box grater was awkward to work with. The Deiss grater is very easy to clean. The curved surface makes it easy to concentrate the material. I received an unexpected bonus with the Deiss grater. I've always had a problem with buying too much ginger because I only needed one meal. When I needed to use the ginger again, I had to grate a chunk of it, which was very messy. I just grating the ginger from the freezer. The frozen ginger is cut through by the Deiss PRO. That was amazing! I've been using this kitchen tool for a long time and it's one of the best.

👤Oh my gosh. I didn't think I would have such intense feelings for a lemon. This thing is amazing. Don't look at the other zesters, just get this one. It has a sheath to cover it. This thing works very well. It showed that lemon is the boss. I am not kidding. I used a small holed cheese grater for the lemon yesterday and then used this one today and it was like a cup, even though the regular cheese grader had 2 table spoons in it. The handle has a nice grip and is easy to use. Not heavy or light. I didn't think I would be so passionate about a kitchen tool.

👤The ginger grater is the best ever. Beware. This thing is very sharp. It is so sharp that it makes a butter-like consistency. When using it for grating fruit, you have to hover the fruit over the grate. If you make normal contact, you're down to the pith. To keep a light hand, you really have to concentrate. If you're used to a "normal" grater, it's a bit nerve-wracking. This thing is amazing. Be very careful. You will end up in the emergency room if you are used by children who are helping in the kitchen.

👤I purchased a similar product from a different brand and it had the same feature set, specification list, and warranty as the one I bought, but I was told the warranty could be increased to two years if I registered the purchase. The main product photo on Amazon clearly shows the life time warranty. The product's description stated a one year warranty. The product listing was misleading. The product's main photo still shows "lifetime warranty" despite the fact that the listing has been edited to show a three year warranty. Everyone that has purchased this item to date will be denied when they try to have their KULUNER thermometer serviced in the future, even though they may finally stop deceiving new customers by eliminating the term "lifetime warranty" from the main photo.

👤I am a chef. This is a very good instrument. The temperature and probe meet my requirements. It's waterproof. After falling into the soup, it can still be used. There is no damage. The reading on the large screen has no problem because it has the function of light and backlight.

I kept using it despite the fact that it did not do any harm at the time. It stayed on the inside for a long time after it was washed every time. The display is messed up and it's hard to read the temperature read out. I messaged the seller and got my replacement unit in 3 days.

When I wanted to know how cold my freezer was, I could push the large button to hold the temperature. 👤This is the second time we have purchased this exact rack. Both lasted less than a month. I challenge the 75lb weight limit. The pan holders are bent. The first unit fell apart. We have never placed 75 lbs on a row. I believe this to be a manufacturing flaw, as you can see in the third photo. I believe weight shimmy's the bolts loose despite setting this up properly and tightening the screw as tight as practical. Over and over. This review would change if they sent locttite, locking washers, etc. The reason the rails bend is because the trays sit on the tips of the rails. If they engineer the bolts to stay tight when rolled around. A food cart is a lot of weight. I have wasted money. I purchased it a second time because they had a fire sale on a damaged unit that I could not pass on.

👤The first box arrived. The directions tell you to check the quantity. There are 8 bolts included to attach the support bars. There are only 6 screws. The second box has 6 screws again and 6 screws twice for 8 holes...what type of games are we playing? Help it make sense.

👤The rack is light and sturdy. It took my husband 15 minutes to put it together. I have an issue with getting pans to fit it and that is the only reason for the 4 star review. I use the Nordic ware sheet pan because it fits in my iven and bakes my cookies evenly. They are too small for the rack. The commercial ones are too large for my oven. The cheap ones from Walmart didn't fit. The Nordic Ware 1/2 sheet is 10 dollars a piece and is the only pans I have found. Two will fit on one slot. I would be looking for 200 dollars in pans to fill this up. It's disappointing that I can't do anything with the Walmart ones because they won't fit in my rack.

👤We left the wheels off, cut the bottom two levels off, drilled new holes, re-attached the support bars, and stuck some end caps on the bottoms from the hardware store. We use it to transport trays to the farmers market and it fits perfectly in my car. We bought a clear vinyl cover. We carry this rack from the back of the car to the table in our tent. It looks professional, we can organize by tray, and the load capacity is huge. It's easy to keep clean. It works on a counter too. It fits our long and half trays. Great product.

👤I bake a lot of bread, cakes and cookies in my small kitchen. The rack holds 20. Baking sheets are half-size. I can have sheets of cookie dough, rolls or bread prepared and waiting to go in the oven on one side, and cookies cooling on the other. I ordered a full size baking sheet to use in the top rack to put my canisters of bread flour, pastry flour, semolina and sugar. I keep the rack next to the John Boos maple work table. It is easy to assemble, very sturdy, and a great price. I use it every day and I am very happy I bought it. Don't hesitate to purchase if you do a lot of baking. I need a double oven now.

👤I'm pretty sure this doesn't make it un-useable, but the video shows it in a long tube. The mat was larger than the box it was in. The mat has a permanent crease down the middle, as well as some rippling, because it was folded in fourths. I rolled it up after removing it from the box and hoping the creases would come out. It was rolled for a couple of weeks after purchase and I have never used it. The photos show that it is still creased and rippled. The package says it should not be stored in a flat fashion. Why did it fold up in fourths?

👤I don't like having to deal with the mess of flour when making dough. I was excited when I read that even the stickiest dough would be easy to remove. I wanted that to be true but it wasn't. The first time I used the mat, I had to remove the pastry crust because it stuck so badly. The only way to get the cookie dough to come off was to put a lot of flour on the mat. The mat doesn't slip and it washes up great, that's the only positive thing I can say. I'm going back to using a pastry cloth if I have to use flour to roll out dough.

👤The plastic pie mat broke recently. This was purchased as a replacement. It's easier to use and it doesn't stick to it. I've already made pizza crusts, bread, and 2 apple pies using this mat. I like the size of the guides. It's not like my old mat. I'm still figuring out the most efficient way to clean it, and I think wiping it off with some soapy water and then rinsing it with a sponge or cloth is the easiest way to do it. The other way is to put it in the sink and roll it with a towel. It has a band to hold it closed if you lose it, and it rolls up for storage. I put some flour on it when I roll a stickier dough, but have no problems sticking it. I love it!

👤Heavy weight with markings in inches. I keep mine rolled with a liner and a band. I can prevent slippage by wiping my table with a damp cloth before I roll the mat. I only use this for rolling dough, not as a baking sheet liner. It is a nice large surface for working dough. The surface can be cleaned with a pastry scrapper. It is dishwasher safe, but I don't know how it would work in a dishwasher. I put mine in a sink of hot soapy water, drape it over a strainer, and then wipe it off with a towel.

👤I am atypical in reviewing this kitchen utensil, but I have a special appreciation for special tools that do their intended function well and have high standards for tools. I recognized this product as exceptional from the beginning. The cute little dusting wand provides a shower of flour or powdered sugar that is more uniformly distributed than I would have thought possible. I like to make my own bread and this device makes it very easy to make a mess of the dough or counter top. It's fun to use fool proof. Just buy it. You will not be sorry.

👤Good quality. The price was raised from $9.99 to $15.99. I don't think it's worth much. The good news is that you can close the ball with a twist of the arm. This is a two handed operation. For the price, you could get several small hand held bowl style sifters at $5 a piece and leave each one in your different dry goods containers. The Vollrath brand cookie sheets were highly rated by ATK and the price probably got jacked up after it was mentioned on the kitchen show.

👤I felt silly buying a dusting wand, but I love it. It has many uses in my baking. I use it to dust confectioner's sugar on some baked goods for their finish and it doesn't waste a lot. There is very little waste because I dust with confectioner's to prevent sticking. I used it to dust with cocoa powder. I have a container with a pour spout and holes in it that I can use to sprinkle corn starch or sugar on fondant. I used it to dust Swerve on a stencil over a chocolate cake. It's small enough that you don't have to put too much in a sieve or strainer, having it go all over the place, and then wasting materials. When you empty it out, it washes up nicely.

👤I use this item to make brownies. I wanted to finish them off with some powdered sugar. Dry powdered sugar can change shape. This item fixes something. To fill it, you have to turn the ball at the bottom of the handle. When you dump in some powdered sugar, you have a metal ball full of powered sugar. If you shake it over brownies, you'll get the effect you were looking for. It's nice to be able to do a stencil over a cake that is not going to ice. In this case, you would cut out a heart, place it on your cake, and then shake the powdered sugar over it. You can remove the template and have a heart in the middle of your cake. Cool! Some people call powdered sugar "icing sugar" or "confectioners sugar". Same thing.

👤It's small and cute. The end of the white handle is easy to twist. I opened the ball, took some powdered sugar, and twisted it shut to make french toast. I was able to dust about 12 pieces of french toast with only one ball full of sugar. I dumped the leftover sugar into its container after twisting it open. I didn't wash it right away because it's only ever going to have powdered sugar. It's easy to use. It doesn't take up more space in a drawer than a fork.

👤The quality of the cart is what I expected. I sliced my knuckle open about two seconds into putting it together. That is not acceptable. The edges of the slides were left with a raw edge from manufacturing. That is lazy and negligent. It could hurt a child. I'm changing my rating to a 1 star. The plastic drawers on one side of the cart are too small for the track. I wish I'd noticed that I could return the dumb thing for a refund. I'm not happy with this thing.

👤I was hesitant to purchase this unit because of the reviews about the difficulties in assembling, broken drawers and inability to open-close drawers. It's sharp enough to shave plastic from drawers. I just put this thing together and haven't loaded anything yet. That's it: 1. The assembly took 35 minutes to finish. 2. The Allen wrench was enough to assemble the main frame. 3. Without a screwdriver, straight head screws can be tightened. The screwdriver was not supplied with the kit. I didn't need one to secure drawer knobs. 4. Make sure to wash the inside of the two outer frame pieces during the main frame assembly. They are shown in the diagram. The sides are too close together and it will be hard to push in and out. I think some people didn't install the washers correctly. As you install the screws, do not tighten them. Before you install the framing screws, make sure the washers are installed, and then tighten the screws until all the screws are SNUG. If you tighten too much, the frame tubing will collapse and ruin it. 5. Once everything is tight, turn the frame over and put the caster inserts in the legs. These are plastic pieces that can hold the caster. Make sure they are all the way in by pressing in as hard as you can. It was out a little ways. I used a hammer and gave 3 of the more stubborn inserts a quick pop, so they sat easily. 6. I put the caster into the inserts. Make sure that the front or side of the lock are where you want to access it. You will have a booger of a time getting them out. Yes - That is why I am telling you this now. It was 7. The drawers should be in the slides. It was easy for mine to slide in without force. I recreated what I read about stuck drawers, hard to operate, cocked in the tracks, and cutting the plastic by putting the spacers/Washers in initially. The problem was solved after I performed a self-induced slap forehead procedure and backed the frame screws out one by one. There are 8. Put the top on after you tighten everything up again. It has curved sides front and rear. I put the front of the top in position, then pulled the rear of the top and it popped into position for me. The unit is strong. The load specification for the cart is 50 pounds. I will keep things as evenly distributed as possible to equalize loading. I will put a thread lock on the screws if I have any issues with them coming loose. The drawers slide in and out and are in their tracks. It is made of very thin wall metal with chrome coating. I can see how someone handling the edges of the rails for the drawers could cut themselves if they weren't careful. Be careful. After a week or so, I will provide an update on the unit's stability, frame flex, etc., and I will load it up with my wood ship modeling tools. I am okay with the unit. Not impressed by anything, but not disappointed either. I was relieved that my unit came with all the parts, I didn't have to cut my fingers off, and the drawers didn't have to be adjusted. It is in line with my expectations. I will update after a while.
