Best Baking Extracts Variety Pack

👤I don't want to call it an extract. It's more of a chocolate syrup because it's so smilng with a sweetener. It's like a really sweet chocolate martini, and I can eat it straight if I want to. I used this to make hard candy that was similar to Necco wafers, but I had to use a lot more to get the flavor to come through, and even then it was weak. The extra liquid from the amount of flavoring I had to use made the candy soft and powdery, which was a change from what I was expecting. If you like extract that's weak enough to drink straight, then this is for you. If you're using it in a recipe, I would suggest finding something more concentrated.

👤There is a main point. The extract is weak and off-tasting. There are details. Frontier brand is weak and tastes like chocolate, while Cook's brand is strong and tastes like chocolate. The extract from Cook's tastes like hot cocoa and the extract from Frontier's tastes like artificial chocolate. I go back to Cook's flavors.

👤My daughter likes to bake and uses chocolate extract in a few recipes. We chose this brand when she needed to replenish. She's used other brands but the quality is better than anticipated. This one is very affordable and will stick with it.

The slip of paper will provide padding. I am canceling Prime as soon as my youngest is old enough to drink. I have adjusted my orders to try and minimize items being grouped like this and damaged in-transit. I wasn't good enough this month.

👤I bought this box of cheese gold fish because I forgot what it tasted like. If you like snacks that are salty and dried... Go for it. It's good for my friend to give her students that didn't bring snacks because I end up giving this whole box to her.

👤This was the first time I ordered a combo. The package had mini bags of tortilla chips, salsa, and cheese dip. The dips were thrown in top of the chips by the mail. The dips would have been put into a smaller box with bubble or air pockets around it before being put into the larger box with the chips. The top of two of the dips have small punctures in them which makes them useless, because the chips are in tiny pieces. Disappointed!

👤It was poorly packaged. There are 8 salsa and cheese tubs and 8 bags of tortilla chips in the box. The chips were not able to stand a chance. The bags were made of half crumbs.

When I opened the box, there were five bags in it. I run a business and can't afford to lose money due to poor package handling. The chips are great, and you get a lot of chips in each bag. When you get all the bags, it's a great value. I was very disappointed with this purchase.

These do not smell, taste or resemble cotton candy. It's a sweet scent, but it's not close to cotton candy. Those pink and blue clouds of cotton candy that you get from a fair, circus, amusement park, etc., should immediately come to mind. Not even close! There is a In my view, it was a big disappointment. All of the bottles were tightly sealed and had expired dates. My conclusion is that the scent and flavoring is too far away from Cotton Candy for me to buy it again, or recommend it to anyone. I usually like Lorann's oils, but this one was a failure.

👤I didn't like these. Most of the flavors of Lorann oils have the same smell, so I use them to scent my lipglosses. The one I smelled was very sweetly scented and didn't smell like cotton candy at all. I did not add any kind of sweetener to them, so you may want to use something else for the smell.

👤The powder is not as concentrated as you think. The concentrated flavor of the water is excellent. It was weak in flavor, and I used it to make a passion fruit cheesecake. The mix and powder in the pie pan were good, but not as good as passion fruit. You can mix it with some citrus flavor to bring out the flavor of 1:5 ratio. It would take half the jar to make a dessert.

👤This isn't a review of the OliveNation extract's flavor, but rather of its ability to create awe-inspiring flame on certain tiki drinks. Many people will try to "torch" their cocktails with overproof liquor. We all were once. They all create a low, blue flame because they burn too hot. It's hard to see and it burns the alcohol out of your drink, so you're in danger of drinking a warm refreshment. If a show is what you want, and you're setting your drink on fire, then a little lemon extract is the way to go. This lemon extract is not what it is. The photo included with the review shows a different extract than the one on the right. It was exciting versus yawn. I'm giving the extract three stars because I'm using it "off-label" as it were, and I'm sure the fine folks at OliveNation have no plans to reformulate their extract based on its ability to provide an amusing distraction. I'll try baking a lemon cake and see how it goes. I'm here to tell you to move along, as I know other people are looking for the best deal on bar-quantity lemon extract. There is nothing to see here. It was literally.

👤I added the lemon extract to lemonade. It doesn't taste like lemonade even though I use lemons and sugar. It doesn't taste like it used to. The drink tastes like lemonade when I use reconstituted lemon juice, but I can't get fresh lemons because of the price.

👤We do a lot of home food prep from scratch, so we use lots of vanilla. This works if you use the extract. It has a similar flavor to the little dark glass bottles in the store, but because of the volume, it is cheaper per ounce in this size bottle, and from Amazon, it is a but fresher than our local shop, so step in the right direction for us. It comes in a clear plastic bottle, which needs to be emptied into a glass, and the plastic bottle is already turning brown, so you will get why if you don't taste the vanilla towards the end. We had to buy glass bottles. I wash and reuse them, but how much plastic has already seeped into my vanilla by the time I get it? The plastic bottles have stains on them. As another reviewer pointed out, it uses water as a ingredient and uses alcohol to extract the flavor and oils from the beans. I don't know if the water is common in other brands or if it's something to do with the legal restrictions on alcohol, but it does affect the flavor over the little alcohol only bottles I have purchased from cooking shops. Sometimes I use double the amount or triple the amount to get enough flavor in my prep, this means adjusting other liquids to compensate, like half the ice water in the pie crust, and use cold vanilla! I saw a reviewer who suggested making your own, and that may be where I will head, but for now, this is an easy way to get the amount of vanilla we need for our day to day baking and cooking, we have a subscription. I don't have to remember. I have been happy with all of the vanilla I have received, it has worked in my recipes, with minor adjustments, and given that the price of vanilla took a huge jump a couple of years ago when they had that storm that wiped out most of the crop, it hasn't gone I am happy because it is more economical and fresh than the little bottles at the grocery. The plastic bottle is the reason for the star's loss. I realize that it saves them money as there are fewer bottles lost to breakage, and shipping costs are less as the plastic is lighter, but I ended up throwing away 1/3 of the first bottle we bought this way. I wonder how much plastic we are consuming with all the plastic containers, and when they will announce that food stored in plastic containers causes some cancer or another.

👤This was the first buy for flavorings. The multiple flavors are small and give you a chance to sample them without paying for a larger bottle. Cotton Candy and Cherry are the only candy I have tried so far. Both flavors were delicious. The cotton candy is special. I can't wait to try them all. I have gotten many positive comments on my sugar cookie icing that I added flavorings. You don't have to use a lot of the flavoring.

👤There's nothing more refreshing than a cold, icy snow cone. I like to make my own snow cone syrups. I know what's in it. Water, sugar, and flaver extracts are found in water. Nothing I can't say. These oils are very good. It takes very little to flavor the syrup from these oils. I made Bubble Gum flavor over the weekend. So good!

👤The produce arrived well packaged and on time. I have been a baker for many years and have my own dessert business. I was excited about the cost and the reviews when I found this. It's great for my overhead to have a great price. Don't waste your time. It's bad on it's own and in baked goods. I only use the best products in my baking. When you take a taste of real pure vanilla, it is sweet and mellow, and you think it is good. I know what furniture polish tastes like due to a dare as a youth, and this stuff tasted like furniture polish. I hoped that if I baked with it, it would turn into something wonderful, like what the other reviewers had said. Nope. Reviewers said a little goes a long way. I only use a quarter of what I normally put in my recipe, my house smells of furniture polish, and I made two baked goods that tasted like furniture polish. It'suck! Water is not the main ingredient in real vanilla.

👤Since it is the end of December, I reached the end of my supply. I will buy this product again. Some people are not happy with the smell of the product. I think it smells similar to the extract from the book. Icings and cookies have never tasted better. I am very pleased with this product, if there is a negative, but if all I have to complain about is a little dribble, then I say it surpasses my expectations. Thank you for the delicious ingredient.

👤I'm glad it's available on Amazon because I'm addicted to it, and I discovered it when my mom brought a few bottles back from Mexico. Since discovering this stuff, I have not used any other vanilla. It has a very rich, true vanilla flavor and is much less expensive and of higher quality than the extracts you get in US grocery stores. It makes everything better, and I use it in everything. It's amazing at a great price.

👤I would have given it a zero star, but that wasn't an option. I was excited to find pure vanilla extract at a great price and both dark and clear. What a deal, right? Save your money. This is the most disgusting tasting and smelling of vanilla I have ever come across. I've purchased pure vanilla in Mexico and it's not even close. It has a very strong fake smell and taste that is nothing like the real thing. Your end product has a taste. Again, save your money and time by not buying this product.

👤I only had this juicer for 3 days before it stopped working. I only used it for juice in the morning and then cleaned it. I am sending it back because it won't turn on now, and I hope it will turn on again next time. I have to pack it up and send it back now because it is disrupting my meal planning and schedule. The filter/strainer part was difficult to clean because it was impossible to get clean after 3 days. I tried running it through a second time, but it ended up making the juice part bigger. I think you get what you pay for, and this is a less expensive option.

The Breville Compact Juice fountain was on back order for 1-2 months, but I found it for around the same price as the refurbished item, so I decided to buy it. I was hesitant to purchase but I was reassured by the excellent reviews and Amazon has always stood behind its product. The additional 4-year warranty was cheap but peace of mind. It arrived in a new box, looking brand new and wrapped in all the manufacturing packaging - not a mark or flaw to be seen, so my guess is these might simply be returns that once shipped cannot be marked as new even if never used. I will post a video next time. I had a bunch of fruit and veggies that I needed to use in a recipe, so I mixed apples, parsley, pineapple, lemons, and cucumber. It took just minutes to make a full jug of juice. It squeezed through the produce. It did work better with apples and even the cucumber, though it did struggle with the pineapple, though it did better than I expected. I just took all the fruit, threw it in my machine, added a few berries and a banana, and I have a smoothie ready for work tomorrow which is thicker as a lot of the watery content became tonight's juice! I plan to use the juice to make popsicles for the kids in the summer as a way to sneak some greens into their diet. One of the easiest parts of all was the part that I had been anticipating, and that was clean up. The parts are dishwasher safe, and it was easy to rinse them off. It is easier than my old model and the juice was caught cleanly in the jug with no spills during juicing! I was happy to go with this, it was refurbished and all. There is an update. One of my favorite juice shots is lemon, apple cider vinegar and ginger. I had been making it with ginger, but after watching my local juice place use fresh ginger juice, we tried juicing ginger. I am getting the real deal because I don't have to peel it and it's in a mason jar.

I thought it would be better if it was a sandwich like a PB&J. I found these with good reviews. I ordered a variety pack because it was fun to the others and I was only looking for strawberry. I am very happy that my recipe turned out. You don't need to use a lot of them. The lemon in cream cheese cookies was wonderful. I'm excited to try the other flavors as well.

👤I wish they wouldn't use artificial coloring. I use these for E juice and they burn out my coil quicker with a colored flavor. If you wanted, you could always add food color to them. Leave them alone! These are great tasting flavors. I drink one dram per 30 mL of ejuice.

👤These are great to mix with unflavored liquid stevia to create custom blends. You can use leftover lemonade as a liquid base for a smoothie, popsicle, dessert or sweet treat. Whole frozen fruit such as strawberries, cranberries, mango chuncks, etc are added instead of ice. If stored in the refrigerator, the limeade and fruit can be used to make a smoothie or healthy popcicles later in the day. Trader Joe's sells the most cost-effective liquid Stevia in my market. Adding these oils to the liquid allows me to create custom flavor blends that my kids will eat and is half the cost of the flavors sold at our local health food stores. There is a dirty little secret about the liquid stevia blends sold at the "health food" store. If you don't believe me, you should know the difference between "All natural", "Natural" and "Artificial". It's a known marketing and industry standard to put a "natural" label on a product knowing that it's mostly artificial, blended with one or two natural side notes to legally mitigate liability and dispute any claims that challenge the misleading "natural" label. Sad. Our unfortunate reality at this time... You have to educate yourself and then decide what's best for you.

👤I needed the oil to flavor some blue glass candy. I was hesitant reading the previous review since some were good and some were bad. I ordered it to try it out. I was surprised at how small they were and wondered if it was enough for what I had to do. I smelled strong when I opened them. I colored the syrup, mixed it well, and poured it on the mat. I cracked it and tried it, and it was not medicine, but it had the same flavor as a berry. I made some candy with the oil and it came out great. I decided to add a few drops of the lemon to the buttercream because I was in a baking mood. I can't wait to try these out and I'm happy I ordered them.
