1. Pure Pineapple Extract 8 Ounce

Pure Pineapple Extract 8 Ounce

Water, alcohol, and pineapple flavors are included. Coconut Flavor Fountain is water-soluble, kosher, sugar-free, and calories-free. The flavor of fresh pineapple is given by Olive Nation pure pineapple extract.

Brand: Olivenation

👤I ordered Olive Nation's Pure Pineapple Extract. "Pineapple extract" was sent to me. Pure extracts are made with real ingredients. A product that is just an "Extract" is made with chemicals. If I could have gotten the "Pure" pineapple extract, I would have liked it, but it's made with alcohol, water, and "natural ingredients" and it really stinks. I wouldn't eat this product. I requested a refund. If I can't find a viable pineapple extract on the market, I will use real ingredients and learn how to make my own extract from videos on the internet.

👤I'm pretty sure they changed the recipe. I gave it a number of bottles over the course of a few months. This was my favorite. I no longer use it. The extract tastes artificial and sweet. I like this product. If I run out before my next shipment, I get grumpy. I became addicted to Trader Joe's sparkling pineapple water about 18 months ago. I was going through a lot of 1L plastic bottles. My husband bought me a soda stream to help cut back on my pineapple sparkling water habit, but I had a hard time finding a flavor that I wanted to add to the water. This extract was for me. It is definitely a different flavor than the Trader Joe's version, but it is still one that I love equally as much, and I can make it whenever I want. My daily water intake has tripled because of this extract.

👤This extract is definitely less. I was nervous after smelling it, but a good shake and a few drops later I had the water I was hoping to recreate. Give the bottle a shake and it will make a difference. I can see why some reviewers noted a strong alcohol or petroleum smell, and if it means you've used too much. I was disappointed at first. After reading more about the extracts, I gave it a second go and gave it half of my original amount. I don't have to pay through the roof because I have the water I want.

👤I used this extract in a recipe for a carrot cake. I would have used actual pineapple juice if I wasn't concerned about the amount of calories in it. I was happy with the product since I am concerned about the carbs.

👤I use them for natural soda. The pineapple was excellent. A couple of droppers and you're set for a liter. The pineapple is stronger than cherry or raspberries. Someone mentioned that it has a "chemical" flavor, while someone else said it didn't have any. This was not my experience, though I would say that due to it being heavily concentrated, and strong pineapple smell, I can understand how someone could mistake that for a chemical flavor.

👤I want the extract that I ordered. I paid a hardy price for Pineapple extract that I ordered. Amazon won't exchange it. I need pineapple extract for baking. I can make a pineapple upside down cake with nut extract. Somethig is not good.

2. McCormick Culinary Imitation Rum Extract

McCormick Culinary Imitation Rum Extract

A light orange coloring makes the flavor of the rum extract pleasantly sweet. It is possible to use small amounts of rum in recipes. 2 ounces of dark rum and 1 ounce of rum extract equals 5 ounces of light rum. It's specially designed for chefs and offers excellent performance and flavor in a convenient, ready-to-use format. The flip top can easily be removed to add larger amounts to any bulk recipe, and their 16 ounce size is perfect for individual drops at a time. The rum extract adds a light rum flavor to chicken salad, fruit salad and sauces.

Brand: Mccormick Culinary

👤I didn't know what to expect when I bought the ingredients. It may be good, but not for me. Alcohol (29%), corn syrup, propylene glycol, water, Natural and artificial flavors, carmel color, and FD&C Yellow 5 are some of the ingredients. If it's mostly alcohol water and propylene glycol. You would only use a small amount, but not for me. I will give it to the thrift store.

👤I ordered this to be used as a flavor for eggnog. That is not what it is for. Don't make the same mistake. It's only for baking. The flavor is released through the baking process. The smell of the imitation extract is so bad that you'd know it's just for baking and not for tasting. I gave it to a baker who makes rum cakes. I would assume it was fine for the intended purpose.

👤I like to bake and use rom in different recipes. The extract is expensive and I couldn't find it all the time. I thought I would give this one a try. The taste of the extract is the same as the real one. When I add in my recipes, everything tastes better. In order to get the taste I wanted, I had to use at least half a bottle. You are not very happy when you pay $7-$8. I use the same amount of this rum and it tastes the same. What not to like? If you like a stronger flavor, you can add a little more. In 3 words, I love it. I am a loyal customer. I hope that is not going to be discontinued.

👤I make my family a coconut-based 'eggnog' every Christmas. Regular rum is required for the recipe. I wanted to make a non-alcoholic version for my children. I bought this and it worked perfectly. The coquito tasted the same as the alcoholic version and the grandchildren were happy. I used the proportions of 4 TBS to 1/2 C dark rum and 4 tsp to 1/2 cup light rum. I added water to the recipe to make up for the missing rum.

👤I use this to make cheap eggs. If you add some full fat milk and sprinkle a little nut meg on it, it will taste very similar to regular eggnog. This is a remarkably tasty alternative to fresh eggs and sugar. I use it in other things where the rum flavor is unique.

👤This brand of rum extract is what I use. This is the only brand that comes close to this taste. I use it in my pies instead of using the extract. They think I used real rum. It's great for frostings. I can't find this brand in any stores.

👤A delicious extract. I make rum cake and rum butter cream with it. You can smell it even when my cupcakes are not in the package. People think I use alcohol that is real. Have bought this many times.

👤I was not happy with the product. I wanted a non- alcoholic drink that tasted like alcohol, but without real alcohol, and this was very rummy. Had to stop drinking. Unable to return since destroyed and would have to give back my money.

3. Watkins Gourmet Organic Vanilla Powder

Watkins Gourmet Organic Vanilla Powder

USDA certified organic. The non-GMO project has been verified. Gourmet spices and herbs are of the highest quality. A bottle made of recycled material.

Brand: Watkins

👤I love this product. It was delicious! I have bought it twice now, which is bad. * Only one of the three packs arrives. That is not a good price for a single bottle. ! It is listed wrong. AMAZON! I need my money back. It is difficult to get customer service with Amazon since Covid has hit. Amazon is a lifesaver for me through this time. I need to return something. The service has gone down a lot. This product is not listed correctly. You will only be receiving one bottle. It is too expensive for one.

👤This is a good product, but disappointing when it comes to the lemon part. I was looking for a lemon pepper with no salt and Watkins was the only company that could do it. I wanted to get a lemon flavor for my grilled chicken and fish. There was no lemon and lots of pepper. Amazon doesn't allow food returns, so you have to pay $25 for ground pepper.

👤I used Watkins potato salad seasoning in my potato salad. I missed it when Watkins stopped making it. We like it.

👤For several years I have told everyone that Watkins' Black Pepper is in a league of it's own. When I saw the organic version, I was so excited that they had found a way to make the best pepper even better. The 3 pack was a good deal. I thought differently. The original Watkins ground black pepper is far inferior to this pepper. The black pepper cans are better than this product. The taste is ok, but the texture is fluffy and bland. You know what I mean. When you buy a cheap salt and pepper combo because you need a new salt and pepper, you end up randomly using the pepper half and realize how cheap it is. How it could blow away if you opened the microwave door too quickly. It is fluffy. The pepper is gross. If I am buying pepper, I either want a coarse chunk from a peppercorn grinder or I want it to flow like sand from a shaker and cling to anything moist that it touches. I just emptied the container from the pencil sharpener over my food. That is what this pepper does. I have three jars of it.

👤A fair life core makes a great latte.

👤This is a good option from the liquid extract. It is more convenient and the flavor is great. I drink coffee or chocolate on my pastries.

👤The flavor is almost non-existant, but I like a good price. It took half a bottle to make a bunch of noodles, but curry was used by the color, not the smell or taste. There is a wonderful, warm Aroma missing in the small bottle version of Gourmet, but there is immediate flavor with 2 ounces. Watkins went on the cheap with the "organic" label. Can we get the GOURMET back at the original price of $7?

👤Watkin's has not on the cinnamon. It is possible to taste the flavor in the baked goods. I only buy Watkins black pepper. They will only have cinnamon. The house has a lot of smells.

4. Bakto Flavors Natural Collection Fruit

Bakto Flavors Natural Collection Fruit

The family-owned company is dedicated to bringing together scientific expertise with high-quality flavors. 6 of over 50 natural flavors and extracts. Kosher, and free of any harmful substances. Pruduced in the USA with no sugar, corn syrup or color added. Six 1 FL OZ bottles of delicious fruit flavors. There are five flavors of banana, five flavors of cherry, five flavors of mango, and five flavors of strawberry.

Brand: Bakto Flavors

👤The flavors are too weak. The flavors are not good. I feel like I'm eating toothpaste, or taking a pill, when the desserts are made with this cherry flavor. It is bitter. Most people don't have negative experiences because of my tongue and scent senses. It was quite bad. My husband agreed that none of them were good and that cherry was bitter. It says something about the natural collection. But maybe these flavors are bitter?

👤I don't think I will be able to use these flavors for anything. They smell better than they taste. The flavors are not very strong. Not happy with the taste of the product. Boo. I was excited to try these.

👤My wife makes a lot of candy, but she doesn't use it because it can be too harsh. Adding some to the pot and swirling it around is what they do best. Since we have no alternatives locally, the price is pretty much irrelevant. I don't know what kind of stores they have. I have never seen mango or banana. The beverage has a nice taste.

👤Some of the bottles broke when I received the package. They were great when I told them I was getting a refund and new bottles. I will be ordering from them again. Great flavors without a bad taste.

👤I wanted to make ice pops. I've been using the banana and strawberry for work and it's working just fine. The bottles don't come with the glass droppers, so you need a way to distribute the flavoring. The droppers replace the screw on the caps. The Glass Droppers-Black-12-Pack is available on Amazon.

👤I use the flavors in my drinks. I have used cherry and mango before. The plastic dropper inserts are too small and they fall out of the bottles.

👤The flavor of these is weak compared to the grocery store brand, so I needed to use 1tsp of this.

👤These are weak in flavor and need a bottle to be tasted. They need to be more focused to be worth the money.

5. McCormick Culinary Orange Extract Fructose

McCormick Culinary Orange Extract Fructose

The extract of the orange balances out the tartness of the fruit. The oil of orange rinds gives the flavor of a bright orange. The flip-top cap allows you to either give individual drops or larger amounts of orange extract for bulk recipes. This 16-ounce bottle of orange extract can be used to create extraordinary menu items such as sorbet and sparkling water. It has an authentic orange taste and aroma while being kosher and non-GMO.

Brand: Mccormick Culinary

👤This review is for a drink. The product is not as good as the normal bottles of orange extract. I usually get a nice orange yogurt with 2 ounces of the 1 oz variety in 64 ounces of plain yogurt. The yogurt had a slight orange flavor and I put in 8 ounces. This product was able to water down my yogurt and make it runny because of all the added water and alcohol. I wouldn't buy this again. I will keep the normal small bottles. They have a very strong flavor.

👤There is an update. After writing this review, I got a hankering to peel a blood orange. I put the peel in a jar with the extract and waited a couple weeks. Much improved! The orange was left out of my batches. It's going to sit for a couple more weeks before straining. I have been inspired to make my own extracts. Is strong liquor like Everclear, but also vodka possible? Do you have a food that deserves flavor removal? Yes. It takes a few weeks. You shouldn't have to flavor brand name extracts, now! The reviews are for different flavors. I would give a different rating for other flavors, but Pure Orange is the only one I would do that for. There are alcohol, water, and oil of orange listed. I bet many brands of orange extract have the same ingredients. I bet this isn't bad as far as orange extracts go. If you don't know the way orange extract tastes, it might taste like alcohol with a lot of water, and you'll end up with a carton of orange juice. Just so you know. We use a lot of almond extract and lemon extract in our keto versions of our favorite old treats. I think this is one extract bottle that will be almost as full in a year as it is right now.

👤I had never bought orange extract before, but I kept finding recipes that called for it. I've decided that it's not for me after using it a number of times. The true flavor of oranges is not adequately recreated by the flavor. I'm not critical of this brand. I think all brands have a responsibility to share failing. I prefer to use a combination of orange rind and orange juice from a fresh orange, and frozen concentrated orange juice in an amount slightly greater than the amount of orange extract called for by a recipe. FCOJ is 4 times more concentrated than regular orange juice, so it delivers true orange flavor without adding too much liquid to a batter.

👤I wanted to make a low-fat version of the classic "low-cholesterol" Cointreau and needed orange to make it taste better. This does the trick at a lower cost than the little bottles of "Orange Extract" found in grocery stores. The rest of the recipe consists of fresh-squeezed lime juice. Oh, and some booze too.

👤The plastic lid on the top was broken when I got it. The box was sealed and there was no leak or broken piece. I believe the lid was broken before it was put in the box.

6. McCormick Pure Lemon Extract

McCormick Pure Lemon Extract

Lemon flavor can be added to baked goods. Try it in a lemon poppy seed cake. USAGE tip: The extract makes delicious pink lemonade marshmallows.

Brand: Mccormick

👤I need to keep a lot of lemon extract because I can't get enough lemon desserts. I have tried a few other brands, but I prefer the McCormick brand. I use extract instead of grating lemons in my recipes because it's so much easier. Highly recommended.

👤I baked a lemon cake with lemon extract and it gave the whole cake a weird bleach flavor. The lemon extract in the cake batter and the frosting ruined the whole cake, because the recipe called for it. I baked the cake without the lemon extract and it tasted great.

👤The lemon extract is just plain bad, and I usually like McCormick extracts. The banana, coconut, butter, and peppermint are all good. Lemon is bad. I thought I used too much, but when I made it again, it was still bad.

👤I am not a fan of alcohol based flavors but this lemon extract does not seem to overwhelm the taste of lemon. I only have to use 1/2 of the lemon flavor for it to taste lemony, and I use it to make a quick microwave 6oz lemon cheesecake. It's awesome for mixing into a vanilla shake.

👤This is what I needed for my homemade cookies. The taste of my cookies is very nice. I will purchase more when needed. It won't expire if I use it right away. This brand is in my pantry.

👤It's great for cakes and pastries.

👤This is a very good deal. An ounce and a half is $5 in the grocery store. You already know it's quality because it has the great name of McCormick. A small amount goes a long way. It's used in cakes, frosting, and sugar cookies. If you bake a lot like I do, buying your extracts in bulk is the way to go. It costs a little more upfront, but it lasts a long time. I have bought this extract before and will continue to do so. Baking is fun!

👤Iike products. I live in the Baltimore area and went to school with Sherry. I know their wonderful products and trust their quality. They will never let you down. It's a bit pricey, but worth it.

👤I don't know what my expectations were but this product is not as lemony as I thought it would be. I have to use at least a small amount per bottle. The price is great for 8 ounces so I should still work out as cost effective even though I have to use more. I would definitely buy again.

7. Watkins Natural Extract Almond Packaging

Watkins Natural Extract Almond Packaging

Pure extract is a great choice for flavoring drinks and baking. 100% Pure is made from natural oils. Artificial colors or flavors are not allowed. Corn Syrup is Kosher.

Brand: Watkins

👤Watkins Pure Almond Extract is a product. This product is quite possibly the worst thing I have ever used in terms of baking ingredients. I don't think you should buy this. The smell is similar to the real thing. Practically does not have any flavor. I used double the amount for a recipe that requires 5 ounces of almond extract. The original recipe called for 3 units of syrup, 2 units of icing and 1 unit of cake. I doubled that when I tasted the icing. I put 6 in the syrup, 4 in the icing, and 2 in the cake. That's 12 ounces. 12! I thought the flavor would come out after I bake the cake and give the frosting some time to mellow out. Everyone's reaction was that there was almost no almond flavor at all in the cake that was icing it. Absolutely terrible. It is unfortunate that the cake I baked for my birthday had no flavor. I end my rant by telling you not to spend time and money on this product and to get the same product that I used on the cake last time, and it was fantastic. I get this for trying to spend less on a product. Don't recommend. Avoid at all costs.

👤I couldn't use it because it had no safety seal on it. I'm suspicious that something was done to it because it didn't smell like Watkins extract.

👤The product is just an empty bottle with the lid removed and the foil seal pulled back. There was nothing else in the box. There was no almond smell on the box. It's like the sender intended to send a used bottle. I would post a picture if I could.

👤The Watkins Pure Almond Extract is reviewed. Watkins products are more expensive in the local area than I am used to, so I bought them on Amazon. The almond is great in butter cookies, my main use for it. It has an inner seal. The small bottles are easy to use and have a nice screw on cap. It is very fragrant, it isn't bitter, and it doesn't taste off.

👤My family and I have been away from sugar for several years. We all love chocolate. I use Monkfruit instead of sugar and Cocoa to make candy and have purchased many Silicone and Poly molds on Amazon. One of the chocolate candies I make is with almonds and I use oil to flavor it, it gives an excellent flavor to the chocolate. Never use a LIQUID extract in chocolate. Chocolate will ruin itself if any liquid is used for baking. Always use oil. Amazon sells many types of food grade oil Additives. If you are making chocolate, I recommend this oil.

👤This is added to my frosting and chocolate chip cookies. People can't quite put their finger on what makes it better, but this stuff adds that little bit. Watkins has excellent quality and flavor, along with a very reasonable price.

👤Watkins almond extract is the best. This is the lowest price I have ever seen. It is a huge bottle that will last a long time. The extract adds a great flavor to my baked goods. I had no issues with the delivery.

8. Watkins Original Gourmet Vanilla Packaging

Watkins Original Gourmet Vanilla Packaging

All naturally derived ingredients were used in this recipe. It is ideal for baking. There are no artificial colors or flavors. There is a note that contains Sulfites. Corn Syrup is Kosher.

Brand: Watkins

👤Water is the first ingredient. The second substance is sugar. There are three things that are third is propylene glycol. I should have checked more carefully.

👤I was convinced after seeing the reviews and price. One could not help but be attracted to the cheap price of vanilla extract when it is available. Ah ha! Don't click immediately if you're looking for pure vanilla extract. We had a chance to look a little more closely at this product after we received it, as it is not a pure vanilla extract, but aBakingVanilla extract. It does perform well, but it does give non-baked items a slightly minty flavor, which is different to the rounded and warm flavor of baked goods. During this crisis, a replacement for vanilla was not terrible.

👤It was a complete waste of money, but it also cost me money for my other ingredients and time. I made 1 batches of cookies with this, and it added no flavor at all. When you search for it, it is listed under pure vanilla extract. I'm not sure if there's any extract at all. It's not right when I search for pure vanilla extract on Amazon. The cost of dumping out this bottle and throwing out my batches leaves me angry at Watkins and Amazon. I have had better results with artificial extracts. The only thing I can say is that it smelled nice after I dumped the entire bottle into my sink.

👤Watkins was a brand name that we used in our household. I bought that brand when I was looking for a reasonable price. I guess you get what you pay for. This is the worst I have ever tried. It has a strong smell. It doesn't taste like it's from a movie.

👤This is not a pure extract. There are artificial flavors, alcohol, and water in this picture. There is Sulfides. I can't use this product because of my family members. I will try to find a use for the bottle, but it will be sitting around for a while.

👤I really like Watkins products, but this one missed the mark. It's awful. I bought it in September of last year because the price was right and it smelled cheap, and I thought the bad reviews were because it was expensive. I've never smelled imitation vanilla before, but this is what I thought it would smell like. I use it in baked goods and it makes the food taste different, even though I cut it in half. I've used it about 15 times, but I can't seem to like it anymore. It's not real tasting. I wouldn't recommend this.

👤It is not pure. That is one of the ingredients. The ingredient is listed as more than the one that's called vanilla. This is not acceptable and does not taste like other vanillas. Several of my family wanted to know why my desserts tasted different during the Thanksgiving dinner.

👤If you receive a different label than the double strength one, don't be alarmed, it's called baking vanilla and it's a new label. I have been using Watkin's products for a long time. This product is used by my Grandmother, Mother and I. I used to sell Watkin's products. I ordered the 11oz version because my personal rep retired and I didn't have a local one. The seller is also Watkins, and the price was fair. I was shocked when I saw a different name and label for this product. I immediately called Watkins to get clarification. The new label is because the rep confirmed that they were changing the name. She said that there is still a mix of old and new labels out there, but that my item is the new label and completely safe and real. I told her that I thought the new label should be in the stock ad on Amazon, or at least advise potential customers of the change with a caveat. I thought I was getting a fake product. I think so. The strength is what I love about this product. This product doesn't bake your baked goods. The taste is very strong. I always use a minimum of 1 capful per recipe, even though they say you can use very little. This is the best I have ever used. No comparison! My adult children use this brand of products. I paid full price for this item. My thoughts are my own and I don't pay for them. My opinions are based on what I have experienced.

9. OliveNation Pure Cherry Extract Oz

OliveNation Pure Cherry Extract Oz

The cherry flavor is increased in the recipes. It pairs well with chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla. It's a perfect addition to pork and chicken.

Brand: Olivenation

👤The limited flavor of the coffee my girlfriend loved is gone. I surprised her with this and added it to her coffee. She can't tell the difference. Bonus points for me! It's also good for making our gummy bears with healthy ingredients.

👤I wanted to add icing to a cake. It smells great. I was not worried about it being like cough syrup. It smells great. It didn't taste like anything when I added it to my recipe. I got a nice cherry flavor when I tried it in some water, after reading a lot of reviews. Even after adding quite a lot more than the recipe called for, the icing was not in it's original form. Maybe it's best for certain applications.

👤The website clearly says " cherry extract, alcohol, water" The bottle says "WATER, Alcohol, Cherry Juice Concentrate, GARCIA, and NATURAL flavors." If you know anything about "Natural Flavors", you know that there is nothing natural about the process they go through to become a natural flavor.

👤YUK! The cherry extract is not good. I was looking for a new brand because my regular brand was out of stock. As soon as I opened the bottle, I knew it was not going to be good, but I decided to try it in my cherry smoothie. The alcohol smell is overpowering the cherry smell. The alcohol is all you can taste in the smoothie. I threw this away. Total waste of money. I bought this at the prevailing price. I chose to write a review. Thanks, Liz.

👤I use it to flavor Soadastream water. I bought this because they no longer make a cherry flavor. I like the flavor of the other brand. A liter of water requires only 1 or 2 drops. This bottle will last a long time for me. The cherry flavor is good with a drop or two of orange extract, they're cheap and last a couple years before they wear out. Coconut works well too.

👤I like this product. It's a great addition to all sorts of drinks and food. I put mine in the milk portion of the lattes, unflavored yogurt, and sparkling water. Sometimes, I'll mix up several flavors, such as adding cherry, orange, and vanilla extracts to the food. I'm going to buy more when I run out. I might buy some for gifts. The bottle it comes in is plastic, and glass bottles are preferred. I can transfer them to a glass dropper bottle to fix the problem.

👤Okay. It tastes good. This isn't a true flavor extract. The concentrate is packaged in a small bottle. If this is all you want, you can get a whole quarter of this for only a few bucks more than this fake for $5 at your local store. This is not a real extract and not named correctly. The people are going to the bank.

👤This is a concentrate, not an extract, as others have pointed out. The seller's photos and description clearly show that this is an extract. The photo of the ingredient label was taken by the seller. The actual label is water, alcohol, cherry juice concentrate, and natural flavors. If I wanted to buy cherry concentrate, I would buy it at any health food store for about six bucks with zero additional ingredients. The fact that this is a concentrate makes it easier for people to say they couldn't taste the flavor. I ordered coconut and cherry. The bottle had a seal on it and was filled to the top. The cherry was 1/3 full but had a flimsy piece of cellophane around it. This doesn't sit well for a food item, considering Amazon's tendency to re-sell returned items. The item was sold on Amazon. I'm returning both. There is an update. The product is not eligible for return.

10. McCormick Culinary Imitation Banana Extract

McCormick Culinary Imitation Banana Extract

The rich and creamy flavor of banana can be infused into all your favorite recipes. The 16-ounce container is convenient for larger amounts of bulk recipes, and the flip-top makes it easy to disbursing one drop at a time. Premium banana extract is a ready-to-use format that is specifically made for chefs. It is made with no added MSG. Add imitation banana extract to desserts.

Brand: Mccormick Culinary

👤For health reasons, I have to eat a low-fat diet. I don't want to load up on carbs because I am very overweight and workout twice a day. I eat a gallon of ice cream on my off days, but I don't go on a low-fat diet. I miss the Sonic Banana. I use this extract to make a more grown up morning smoothie consisting of a scoop of low-fat meal replacement powder like Orgain, Purely inspired, or even Slim Fast Diabetic, as well as a few other ingredients. Adding a little bit of monk fruit or stevia extract will make the blend sweeter. I love it. It is one of my favorite post workout meals because it tastes like a dessert and is very satisfying. I read reviews before buying. The flavor was watered down and you had to use a lot. Others said the flavor was artificial. The flavor is good and I am using a small amount for a smoothie. I don't know how much ice I add because my smoothie size is different. I have made at least five or six smoothie with the banana extract and it still looks full.

👤I tried to order natural banana extract, but it sold out in my cart. I went with imitation. It was a blessing in disguise. I use real bananas in a lot of things and this will enhance the banana flavor in the best way. The smell of banana shot into my nose when I opened the seal. Natural extract is not subtle. I used to get banana runts from candy dispensers at the store. I used it in my banana pancakes, and I think the high heat made the flavor go away. It tasted great when I used it for my toddler's date balls and when I used it for a smoothie. If you heat it, it is best to use it as a flavor enhancer to things that already have banana. It works better than the natural stuff for things that don't need heating.

👤Maybe I can't get the amount to use correct, but I don't like it either, or it has a fake banana flavor. It's not candy banana flavor. More powerful. I'm glad I have it. It's not as good as I had hoped. Again. Maybe I'm not using the correct amount. I was hoping it would be better than it is. It's not a good idea to say taste is subjective. Maybe you will like it more than I did. Even though it wasn't my favorite, it was definitely a solid 4 stars from me.

👤It is so strong. So strong. So strong. It is hard to use. Just show the bottle to your recipe and then put it back in the pantry. That should be enough.

👤It was used to make some banana bread. Very delicious! I couldn't tell if there was a banana in the bread.

👤I don't know why I bought that bottle. 16 ounces. What was I thinking? I will be able to pass this down to my heirs.

11. LAING 74427 Barbed Hose Connections

LAING 74427 Barbed Hose Connections

The Pure Key Lime flavor is good in baking. 120V / 240V - 40W - 50/60HZ is the universal voltage. Run-dry thermal protection. To equal or surpass the pump. The cord is 48 inches. Next-generation replacement for SilentFlo 5000.

Brand: Laing

👤The Watkins SilentFlo 5000 series of circulation pumps are a great replacement for this pump. The first unit arrived with obvious quality problems. There was an O-ring section in the back of the case, where the rear motor cover and motor housing were located. I tried to test the pump with some tubing and water, but it did not work. An open circuit was shown when I tested the hot and neutral leads. Credit was given after the pump was returned. I ordered a replacement pump from another online supplier. I used a 5 gallon bucket of water and some vinyl tubing to test the pump. The pump needs to be primed or it won't work at all, but when it's done right, it works like a champ. The flow rate and output pressure were both very high. I had some concerns about the pump's ability to pull water from the filter, the heater, and the ozone venturi tube, but they were put to rest by this little pump. I was able to make it spray water like a garden hose by putting my thumb over the output tube. The pressure and flow rate were very impressive. The motor has a smaller size and all-plastic housing. It's more resistant to rust and corrosion because of its 100% Noryl housing. This motor is made by the same Hungarian firm that made the original pump in my spa and it's clear that they continue to improve their engineering of these pumps for their main customer. The wet end of the pump doesn't have a shaft or seal, so there won't be leaks from the pump's "volute" over time. A great feature for a pump that's running 24/7. I'm very happy with this pump. One picture shows the o-ring sticking out of the DOA pump I had to return, and another shows the comparative size to the old pump it is replacing.

👤The Caldera Martinique hot tub circ pump stopped working. All roads lead to the circ pump after a lot of research on the web. I ordered this baby. It was installed without a hitch, but didn't work. There must be a bad controller. I didn't know what the thingamabob was, but the wire to the pump connected to it indirectly. Wouldn't you know? It was a link with the board. Popped it out and looked at it. It was wide open and bouncy. I found the ceramic fuse at Amazon and got it on the way. The circ pump started to work after the fuse was installed. I have a spare circ pump and a spare fuses. There's an onboard fuse link that may need to be checked before a new circ pump is ordered. Things that make you want to go. I've been looking for any information about the mystery fuse, but nothing has come up. Someone that is checking the price on this pump because there's been a problem will see this and check for the fuse link. It would have saved me money. The pump works as advertised and is a good price if you need one. The price of the pump was a little high, but I only needed a $2 fuse. Good luck with your hot tub repairs!
