Brand: P&j Trading

👤I am an adult who likes gourmand fragrances and was hoping for some options to add scent to lotion. I'm not happy with how these are responding compared to other companies I've purchased from. I don't think they're a good idea for the body, especially considering how other companies' oils perform, and I think they'll be fine for slime use or maybe even candles. The packaging is professional and giftable. I would recommend a P&J oil set as a nice gift for certain people. It's gorgeous! None of the items broke because they were packed securely. The oil smells good from the bottle. I keep opening them and sniffing them, they smell great. Bubble gum makes me salivate. cents are accurate, I like cola and cupcake. The shipping was free. Shipping is so expensive in the world of soapmaking supplies that it sounds weird. The scent quickly loses its charm when it isDiluted in a lotion base. I smell like plastic and get a lot of chemical undertones, which I have never gotten from other companies. Some of these are not pthalate free. You should avoid this if it matters to you. The oil behavior in this set is vastly different. One drop of lotion with one oil is too much for me, but I can't smell it at all. I want my scent to perform the same way. It shouldn't be hard to determine the percentage of fragrance in a product. I can't imagine making something like soap, that needs to be calculated and measured. Some of the fragrances aren't accurate. I had my boyfriend try to guess what smell each bottle was going for without looking at it, and he only got 2 of them. He got a cupcake with a hint. Overall. I feel like they smell cheap. I'm probably going to return them because they're very expensive. This will work if your kids want smelly stuff. There are more options that I would explore.

👤I have been using these for a couple years but this is my first set. I use their fragrances for my body butters. I swear I am in heaven every time. If you want to modify your box, you have to do it from their website. The scent is potent so you don't need a lot. Great purchase.

👤I've been making bath bombs for a long time and have never had any issues with unaffected bombs. I made white diamond marshmallows bath bombs and some cotton candy scented ones and went to inventory and noticed that the ones I made with scents from this package had dark spots all over where it activated the citric acid. I had to throw out a few items because they were made with oil. Birthday cake, cotton candy, and marshmallows were involved.

👤The product was a little overpriced. The scent of cotton candy was very accurate, Pink lemonade smelled like lemonade mix, but it was still very good, and the smell of Cola could be stronger. I liked this pack, but I wish it was cheaper.

2. Bakto Flavors Natural Collection Floral

Bakto Flavors Natural Collection Floral

6 of over 50 natural flavors and extracts. Natural, Kosher,Gluten Free, and GMO Free. It's delicious in Cookies, Cakes, Teas, Coffee, and much more.

Brand: Bakto Flavors

👤There is barely any smell or flavor. I used it in baking and bought another one that did the job.

👤I have tried every flavor since I received this. The jasmine was the only one that I didn't like. I mostly use them to flavor my black tea in the morning because they work well for frosting and baking. I like being able to choose my tea's flavor. The difficulty of getting small amounts of extract for flavoring tea has been complained about by some. I use a plastic chopstick to stir my tea after I add sugar and it works well because I spread the extract on my tea filter three times. I like the rose and lavender extract in tea. I think this was a good value.

👤These taste a little strange, and are not good for cooking. I'm not completely happy with them. Maybe I need to do more experimentation. It was difficult to get all the ratios right because the butter cream had to be separate from the rose one.

👤It was very easy to use. It's great for icing, whipped topping and meringues.

👤The product has very little sense. The flavors are not like the flowers. I was not happy with this. The fruit smelled like pebbles. It was not nice for what I was going for.

👤I liked that these arrived. The smell is amazing when used for cake frosting.

👤It smells great when you first open it. Each bottle has alcohol in it. My product was sticky because of that. It is good.

👤I didn't like the way the flavors tasted but they smelled ok and were not bad. They are well packaged.

3. LorAnn Cotton Candy Flavor Bottle

LorAnn Cotton Candy Flavor Bottle

It's perfect for making macaroons. The county fair is fun in your kitchen. Adding cotton candy flavor to cookies, cupcakes, cakes, frostings, drinks, and ice cream will make it sweeter. The lighter-than-air flavor takes you back to a time when care-free days were filled with sunshine, laughter, and treats made of spun sugar. A little goes a long way. LorAnn's flavors are four times stronger than typical baking extracts. Poke cake, Pinwheel Cookies, Candy Apples, Rainbow Dust, Milkshake are included in one flavor five ways. A small bottle of Dr Tackam is the perfect size for a small amount of homemade Hard Candy. Most of the flavors are available in larger sizes. A bottle has approximately 6 ounces. 16 ounce and gallon are also available. Hard candy, general candy making, cakes, cookies, frosting, ice cream and a wide variety of other baking and confectionery applications are typical uses. Made in the USA.

Brand: Lorann

👤I wanted to flavor a cake. The cotton candy smell doesn't scream. The flavor was also disappointing. I used both bottles in 1 cake mix and couldn't taste the faintest hint of flavor, even though the label claimed the formula was "super concentrated". This was a flop for me.

👤The 3 stars I gave were for quick shipping and great packaging. After buying two of these on Amazon, a local grocery store started selling them. I bought 2 more Lorann's Cotton Candy oils from the local grocery store because I thought I'd gotten a bad batches. I bought 4 of them, which turned out to be a waste of money, because I wanted a true Cotton Candy scent. There is a All 4 bottles were the same. It's not the fault of my local grocery store. These do not smell, taste or resemble cotton candy. It's a sweet scent, but it's not close to cotton candy. Those pink and blue clouds of cotton candy that you get from a fair, circus, amusement park, etc., should immediately come to mind. Not even close! There is a In my view, it was a big disappointment. All of the bottles were tightly sealed and had expired dates. My conclusion is that the scent and flavoring is too far away from Cotton Candy for me to buy it again, or recommend it to anyone. I usually like Lorann's oils, but this one was a failure.

👤I used this in my cake and frosting and it didn't add anything to the flavor. There was no cotton candy taste. I put a whole bottle into the cake after adding more drops. There is no cotton candy flavor. Some of the other flavors might be better. This is not the fault of the company I bought it from. I ordered from a company that was fine. It was packaged well so the bottles wouldn't break, and it was on time.

👤The cotton candy flavor was disappointing. It didn't have a strong smell or taste. I was looking forward to something different and it was a huge disappointment. The product is a huge disappointment. It has a mild taste of cough syrup but not a candy flavor. Will not be buying this flavor again. This flavor is a huge waste of money.

👤The cotton candy oil tasted amazing on my cake. Although the reviews were mixed, I thought I would just head and order. I used both of the amount you get and the one I got for a cake with cotton candy icing. The recipe I used called for more but with this oil it was enough. I think I could have used less. The price is not very good for what you get but for two bottles. Couldn't find it anywhere else but Amazon.

👤I didn't like these. Most of the flavors of Lorann oils have the same smell, so I use them to scent my lipglosses. The one I smelled was very sweetly scented and didn't smell like cotton candy at all. I did not add any kind of sweetener to them, so you may want to use something else for the smell.

4. Bakery Emulsions Natural Artificial Princess

Bakery Emulsions Natural Artificial Princess

There is a bag of blue diamond almond flour. LorAnn's Princess Cake and Cookie emulsion has a light, nutty taste with a hint of citrus and rich vanilla. The "secret ingredient" in your cookies, cakes, and frostings will be Princess Cake & Cookie Emulsion. It can be used wherever you want to give it a creamy flavor. It's a great flavor for buttecream frosting. Substitute Princess Cake and Cookie for a winning flavor update. Baking extract is 1 spoon. 1 part water to 1 part oil. The bottles are made of recycled plastic. Water is Soluble in Water. Made in the USA.

Brand: Lorann

👤I'm out $20 because this is an artificial flavoring and no way to return it. I attached a photo of the ingredients so future buyers wouldn't make the same mistake I did. If you're looking for natural flavoring or an item with clean ingredients, look elsewhere.

👤We used butter flavoring to make ice cream with butter. We assumed that we would only need a few drops of butter extract, since we had heard from a friend that it was super concentrated. When we opened the bottle, we were worried, but we added a single drop to a half-cup of half-and-half for taste testing. That single drop gave us a wonderful flavor. The ice cream recipe called for cream rather than half-and-half, so the butterflied half-and-half went in some tea instead. We used six drops of butter emulsion to make one quart of ice cream, and it came out perfect.

👤I made a cake for my granddaughter. I used LorAnn's bakery emulsions to make each layer taste different. I used strawberry, orange, lemon, lime, and berry. LorAnn has superior products. The cake was a big hit. We spent a lot of time talking about which flavors were our favorites after we were amazed by the taste. My granddaughter asked if we could have a rainbow cake every year.

👤I ordered this because I was doing the keto diet. I was disappointed. I was overwhelmed with the smell of banana when I opened the bottle. I hoped the flavor would improve with cooking. Nope! The flavor profile is similar to the smell. It is fake, artificial, and unattractive. It was a waste of money. I won't be using this again. How can I make my food taste good? This is the product for you.

👤I love this flavor. I use it in my Buttercream Icing and Cake recipes. The butter flavor is intensified even though my Buttercream recipe is made with Real Butter. The cake recipes get a boost from this flavoring. I use it with cakes. The baked cake has a better flavor if I add a little more. LorAnn's Butter is the best Butter flavor I have tried. I prefer the plain "Butter" Emulsion over the "Butter-Vanilla" variety. The butter is more intense and I add more Vanilla if needed.

👤At Christmas, I used this to make sugar cookies. I ordered after reading the positive reviews. At Christmas, I decided against it. Why mess with a recipe that has been in my family for generations? I realized I was out of the one ingredient that is always in my house when I made cookies the morning I decided to make them. I decided to try it out because I didn't want to face the rain and the traffic to get a bottle of vanilla, but it would change the taste so much that I wouldn't notice a difference. I used the same recipe as I would have used in the past. The cookies were amazing. They were still my original cookies but had a richer taste. Everyone commented on the flavor. Will definitely be ordering again. The Ole' family recipe has been changed.

5. LorAnn Oils Super Strength Cheesecake Flavouring

LorAnn Oils Super Strength Cheesecake Flavouring

Made in the USA. Highly-concentrated gourmet flavor. 1 dram is equivalent to 1 liter of bottle.

Brand: Lorann

👤I ordered 8 different flavors from LorAnn. I had experience with the flavors and they were either amazing or just discussing. I haven't tasted one yet, but that was ok. The scent and flavor of the dessert is to die for. I make lip scrubs for my small business. I add cherry snow cone syrup to my lip scrubs to make a cherry cheesecake lip scrub. That is to die for. I stopped eating it. He! A little goes along way with this one. I only had to use a quarter of a cup of sugar and oils. Hope this helps. Thanks for this one LorAnn! Will be buying a lot of this one.

👤A tiny bottle can go a long way. I tried it in strawberry smoothie and it tasted a bit weird. It didn't add the cheesecake flavor that I had hoped for. This was not for me.

👤I received Wintergreen, but I ordered the cheesecake. So disappointed. I was going to make a dessert for my daughter's birthday. Amazon says that the Wintergreen cannot be returned.

👤I will send this overseas for my sister. The print on one side of the bottle was blackened out. I don't know why it was blackened by the seller.

👤I couldn't say it tasted like cheesecake, but I was unsure how much to use in a type of pudding I made. I didn't use enough. By the time I figure it out, I'm sure. I will run out of it.

👤I was unprepared for how small the bottle was. It is extremely small. You need to use all of it in one recipe, it is not strong with flavor.

👤The taste is not overpowering despite the title of the flavoring. It didn't have as much of the cheesecake flavor as I 888-276-5932 Someone else's palate may be different. The amount of cupcakes I made were standard at 12 count so I didn't want to use too much, but it was hit or miss with the amount used. I would try other flavors to see which one I like the most.

6. Watkins Original Gourmet Vanilla Packaging

Watkins Original Gourmet Vanilla Packaging

All naturally derived ingredients were used in this recipe. It is ideal for baking. There are no artificial colors or flavors. There is a note that contains Sulfites. Corn Syrup is Kosher.

Brand: Watkins

👤Water is the first ingredient. The second substance is sugar. There are three things that are third is propylene glycol. I should have checked more carefully.

👤I was convinced after seeing the reviews and price. One could not help but be attracted to the cheap price of vanilla extract when it is available. Ah ha! Don't click immediately if you're looking for pure vanilla extract. We had a chance to look a little more closely at this product after we received it, as it is not a pure vanilla extract, but aBakingVanilla extract. It does perform well, but it does give non-baked items a slightly minty flavor, which is different to the rounded and warm flavor of baked goods. During this crisis, a replacement for vanilla was not terrible.

👤It was a complete waste of money, but it also cost me money for my other ingredients and time. I made 1 batches of cookies with this, and it added no flavor at all. When you search for it, it is listed under pure vanilla extract. I'm not sure if there's any extract at all. It's not right when I search for pure vanilla extract on Amazon. The cost of dumping out this bottle and throwing out my batches leaves me angry at Watkins and Amazon. I have had better results with artificial extracts. The only thing I can say is that it smelled nice after I dumped the entire bottle into my sink.

👤Watkins was a brand name that we used in our household. I bought that brand when I was looking for a reasonable price. I guess you get what you pay for. This is the worst I have ever tried. It has a strong smell. It doesn't taste like it's from a movie.

👤This is not a pure extract. There are artificial flavors, alcohol, and water in this picture. There is Sulfides. I can't use this product because of my family members. I will try to find a use for the bottle, but it will be sitting around for a while.

👤I really like Watkins products, but this one missed the mark. It's awful. I bought it in September of last year because the price was right and it smelled cheap, and I thought the bad reviews were because it was expensive. I've never smelled imitation vanilla before, but this is what I thought it would smell like. I use it in baked goods and it makes the food taste different, even though I cut it in half. I've used it about 15 times, but I can't seem to like it anymore. It's not real tasting. I wouldn't recommend this.

👤It is not pure. That is one of the ingredients. The ingredient is listed as more than the one that's called vanilla. This is not acceptable and does not taste like other vanillas. Several of my family wanted to know why my desserts tasted different during the Thanksgiving dinner.

👤If you receive a different label than the double strength one, don't be alarmed, it's called baking vanilla and it's a new label. I have been using Watkin's products for a long time. This product is used by my Grandmother, Mother and I. I used to sell Watkin's products. I ordered the 11oz version because my personal rep retired and I didn't have a local one. The seller is also Watkins, and the price was fair. I was shocked when I saw a different name and label for this product. I immediately called Watkins to get clarification. The new label is because the rep confirmed that they were changing the name. She said that there is still a mix of old and new labels out there, but that my item is the new label and completely safe and real. I told her that I thought the new label should be in the stock ad on Amazon, or at least advise potential customers of the change with a caveat. I thought I was getting a fake product. I think so. The strength is what I love about this product. This product doesn't bake your baked goods. The taste is very strong. I always use a minimum of 1 capful per recipe, even though they say you can use very little. This is the best I have ever used. No comparison! My adult children use this brand of products. I paid full price for this item. My thoughts are my own and I don't pay for them. My opinions are based on what I have experienced.

7. King Arthur Flour Espresso Powder

King Arthur Flour Espresso Powder

Add espresso powder to your favorite chocolate recipe and you will see a difference in the taste of your chocolate. This baking ingredient is ground and dried from coffee beans. This espresso powder is easy to mix. The King Arthur Espresso Powder is Kosher. King Arthur Baking Company is a founding B Corporation. They are a baking company. Their name and logo reflect who they are, bakers who are committed to spreading the simple joy of baking.

Brand: King Arthur

👤This product was received with an expired tag. Returned item isn't available for returns. There is a drain and there is money going down it.

👤There is a huge sticker on top of this item that says it will be gone in February.

👤This just arrived and it says it expired 3 months ago.

👤I was able to use the product for my chocolate cake after it was open. I was going to try the powder for the first time, but now I have to order it from the KA website. The top portion of the espresso has been open for a while, so it is not new.

👤I use this in my homemade ice cream to make it coffee-flavored. It's awesome. I just use a small amount. I tried a few recipe versions which used a cup or less of coffee but they didn't work as well as the espresso powder does. I can make mine at home and also dairy-free, since I don't have to worry about the store versions.

👤The first time I ordered it, it was going to be gone in a few months. It became hard to use after a month or two after having it, and it got worse over time. I live in a humid climate, so it could be that it clumped because of that. It became much harder to break up as it became useless. The clumps were sticky and I had to wash the zester after, so I could not use it. I kept this in an airtight bag in my cupboard between uses, and it still came out the same. Attached is an image. The espresso powder did it's job for two months, until it became useless. Unless you plan to use the entire amount within a short period, I would strongly advise against buying this product.

👤It's perfect for cooking. I've used this in cakes, brownies, and even a coffee creamer recipe. I don't recommend using this as a substitute for espresso, as that isn't what it is designed to do. This is a great addition if you want the chocolate flavor to pop in your recipe. The wide mouth makes it easy to get measuring spoons out of the container. I would buy again.

👤I love this! This was bought for a cake recipe. I was worried that it would make the cake taste like coffee. No worries. It makes the chocolate taste better. I will be adding this to everything I bake that has chocolate in it.

👤I was expecting this to come in a glass jar, but it is plastic. I will not be using this product again. The flavour is amazing. I only bought this because the recipe I was using called for it. I was impressed with how much chocolate flavour it brought to my buttercream icing.

👤I think it was overpriced because it made a slightly richer taste when used with cocoa powder in cakes. It went hard in the jar before I used it all. I wouldn't buy it again, but I wanted to try it.

8. McCormick Pure Peppermint Extract

McCormick Pure Peppermint Extract

It has a mint taste with the oil of peppermint. There is no corn syrup, non-GMO and gluten-free. There are no artificial flavors or colors added. Substitution: There were no candy canes. Use 1/6 of a cup. In place of the candy canes. There are sweet tips. Add a few drops to hot cocoa, frosting or brownie batter.

Brand: Mccormick

👤The description in the images for the ingredients made me buy this. The image has a description of alcohol, oil of mint and water. I received a package with alcohol, water, and oil of mint. Over the years, I have bought this many times, as well as many other products from the same company. It seems like watering down their extracts is their new way of saving money. It's better to sacrifice quality and use more water to save money. It is not as strong as their old formula so be careful when buying this product. I would have bought another brand of extract if I wanted a strong one. Not happy at all. It's time to start buying from your competitors and suggest others do the same.

👤I love maple syrup and am low in calories. This gives me the flavor without the sugar. I make cheese waffles. They are made with mozarella cheese, egg and almond flour, and I mix in some cinnamon, and they are so good. There are recipes on-line for low-carb syrups that can be used to make maple syrup. I'm going to try that very soon.

👤I found a video on the internet where they showed you how to double your butter. You mix a pound of butter with a packet of gelatin and 1/2 cup of milk and whip the heli out of it. The end product is pretty nice, but not like real butter. The bell went off in my head when I ran across the butter substitute. I'll add it to the butter I'm making. This product has never been used before. I thought the cost was reasonable and would add it to my cakes. They delivered the shipment tonight and I'll be damned if it was a package of six. Oh no! They sent me the wrong thing, so I double checked and found out I was wrong, and then I checked the 6 pack option. I came here to warn the rest of you that I was going to use this product for more and more things, and now I'm glad I made the mistake. I opened it and tasted it, even though it was written that the flavor was poor. I did that butter flavor. I would be squeezing in the drop after eating my cakes and butter. I'm going to bake some bread after this. Can't wait to try it out. I saw a lady use on TV and ordered a beer. I have pulled my teeth waiting for dentures and am so bad for bacon that I thought of all the recipes I could use to make it taste better. What is the bacon flavor? The baby is going right next to the stove for easy access, I think I paid around $8. I'll be using this a lot. Try it out.

👤Very disappointed. They have changed the formula. No more the smell of raspberries. It tastes like alcohol. Their other products are awesome. It's time to start looking for something else. Over the last several years, I've bought a lot of this stuff. It's a pity.

9. Lorann Oils Marshmallow Flavoring Dram

Lorann Oils Marshmallow Flavoring Dram

Made in the USA. The flavor is all gooey. Their marshmallows flavor makes your cakes, cookies, and candies taste better. Adding it to the frosting makes a fun topping. A little goes a long way. LorAnn's flavors are four times stronger than typical baking extracts. When substituting extracts for super strength flavors, use 14 to 12 teaspoon. Made in the USA.

Brand: Lorann

👤This had a great flavor, really had a marshmallows taste, and when I added it into a frosting with butter, it had a cream cheese flavor to it. It's not too bad since I can't find this flavor at any local store, but I wish it was the same price as the drams. I used this for my daughter's birthday cupcakes. Everyone loved the frosting.

👤It was gone so quickly that I was not able to make it taste like marshmallows.

👤It smells like marshmellow. It has very little flavor. Couldn't taste it at all.

👤I like to use it in almond milk and whipping cream.

👤The flavor is accurate. It's pretty strong. Pricey.

👤I like all the flavors. 5 drops of fudge.

👤It's hard to get it because it's small. It didn't taste like anything.

👤I bought a large bottle because I liked this so much. It was a great way to enhance the flavor of homemade marshmallows.

10. Cotton Candy Fragrance Oil Premium

Cotton Candy Fragrance Oil Premium

The euro dropper is in the bottle cap. 30ml is 1oz. The recommended use of this fragrance oil is for home and car use, as well as in body care, candle and soap making, and existing products. Not for manufacturing lip balm. The product should not be used in a way that makes it more potent. Their Master Perfumer has been in the industry for more than 30 years and has created highly concentrated, phthalate free, enhanced formulas. The product is a fragrance oil and has no therapeutic value. It is only intended for home use.

Brand: P&j Trading

👤I use fabric that is not skin. It doesn't mix well with my skin chemistry. The fabric smells like cotton candy. It smells like a cherry cough drop on the skin. The whole house smells like cotton candy when I drop a few drops in my sheets, denims, lingerie and curtains. It drives my boyfriend crazy.

👤The scent is not like cotton candy and is not pure oil. I decided to put one of my empty glade plugs in. I want to find the best cotton candy oil scent so I will keep trying.

👤This does not smell like cotton candy. It is a generic, candy-like smell but not cotton candy. I don't like it, I bought it for my car. It would be perfect if the scent was better. I would like them to call it the scent of candy. I don't really like it.

👤I am a fan of cotton candy. I first used it in my body oil. It smells like candy to me, not the fake cake batter smell. I was very pleased to use it in my diffuser.

👤I used this oil to scent homemade hand/foot balm, and it is wonderful. It doesn't last long in the product I made, but it doesn't need to. It arrived without any issues and provides a cotton candy scent that I was hoping for.

👤I use this oil to make my body butter. It smells great. Everyone always says cotton candy notes smell like strawberries. The scent is still delicious. I would like the bottles to be bigger. I will order again.

👤Not happy with the purchase. Does not smell like cotton candy. It smells like old perfume and talcum powder. I used it in my diffuser. I would not use skin products. I wasted money on this purchase.

👤The scent is amazing! It is light and doesn't last long in the air, but it is lovely in body butter because it is not strong.

👤Wow! I think this is similar to cotton candy. I got a second opinion and they also rated this 5 stars. Its not a simple scent. It's full of cotton candy. It's a good recommendation! I have bought their root beer oil a few times and it is just as good as the root beer oil. The scent lasts a long time in a wax warmer. Just add some pure paraffin and you're good to go!

👤The smell is great! It's still a sweet smell to me, but I think it smells more like bubble gum than cotton candy. I work in an elementary school and the kids love it. They all tell me how I smell like candy. That's a pretty sweet compliment from a child. I am on my second bottle of it and it will be my last.

👤A real must. Awesome.

👤My clients coughed so bad because of this.

👤Doesn't smell like cotton candy. It is nice.

11. McCormick 900057996 Cake Batter Flavor

McCormick 900057996 Cake Batter Flavor

It is now a cake batter. The idea is fun. For intense cake flavor, whip into the frosting. It's a tip. Put 1 cup of water in it. Birthday cake pancakes are made with 14 cup sprinkles. Freshly baked cake flavor is added to cookies, cupcakes, blondies and more. It was stirred into the frosting. For over 125 years, from McCormick.

Brand: Mccormick

👤I received butter and nut extract instead of cake batter extract. I know it is the same thing. I thought I paid for something. The box was old and there was a sticker on it that said Best Buy date of 6-16-21 but the bottle inside said Aug 18-19. Advertising is false and disappointing. I have 6 months to use the extract that I paid for.

👤I used this flavor with normal cookies before I went to Keto. I found out that the flavoring is no longer carried locally. I was happy to find that I could order it from Amazon. People ask me how I make my cookies. I'll never tell them, but here you go, Amazon! I use this to add that extra special flavor to my baked goods. That is always a hit!

👤The flavor is not very strong. The worst part was that the company felt the need to add food dye to the product. I don't need coloring to have flavor. I am very disappointed that I can't use this for my family as they have allergies to red and yellow dye. I am not happy. I think there is a better product out there as this flavor was okay. You could tell it was not natural because of the amount of flavor needed.

👤The item I ordered was a nut and butter. The cake batter flavor is what I got. I went to 6 stores to find a butter nut, but couldn't find it. I tried to return the item I did not order. This item is not eligible for returns. Well dang! I think that the seller Lready knew they were advertising a lie. Don't buy people.

👤I added this to my ice cream and it turned out great. I liked the taste of it. I'm going to make my own recipe for yellow cake. Really great stuff!

👤I don't know why so many people are complaining in the reviews. The extract is not a flavor, it is a name. It tastes the same and is a great extract for cakes. I double checked the expired date on my bottles when they arrived and it's good until 2025.

👤The smell of the product doesn't keep it's flavor after it's made. I could not taste the cake batter after my cookies dried. It is made with food coloring. It takes more food coloring than normal to change the color of the icing. It's a strange color. I will use it again but not for royal icing.

👤I am so disappointed in this replacement, I have relied on it for decades. It does not even begin to compare to the family recipe ofVanilla butternut. I don't like the flavor of it and will never buy it again. I don't think people will like it. JMO, McCormicks screw up.
