👤I used to not leave reviews, but I thought it might be helpful to someone to decide if the negative reviews outweigh the positives. I am happy that I got these. The smallest one came with something on the back, but it was easy to wash off. They were a good price and there were different sizes to choose from. I got them in April and they hold up well. Sometimes I clean sponges with strainers but sometimes I put them in the dishwasher and they don't show any harm. It was definitely worth the purchase.

👤The price is good but the strainers are not as deep as I thought. They look strong.

👤I bought to wash grains that would otherwise fall through my regular strainer. It can be used for things like a sauce that needs to be strained after cooking, or something that needs confectioners sugar sifted on top. Reviewers were not happy with the large one being not very deep. If you're looking for the largest one to be very deep and bowl-shaped, this is not the set for you. The wide and shallow design makes it easier to store and less likely to be damaged in storage. I only needed one and would have paid $7 for it, so getting three was a good find. I have no rust problems or loose wires so far, so I would recommend these.

👤Extra fine mesh. Excellent for quinoa.

👤I can use this set of sifters to drain hamburger grease.

👤Go for it if you found it. I checked out the dollar tree. The combination of quality and pricing was the best.

👤I needed to strain beans and drink them. I was worried that it wouldn't be thin enough to strain something small, but it did! There are a variety of different uses for the 3 sizes. They are easy to clean, and I haven't had any rust yet, so they seem well made.

👤These are a good value for the price I paid. I use them for straining milk when I make butter, and for straining juice when I make juice from a vegetable.

2. HULISEN Stainless Operated One Handed Operation

HULISEN Stainless Operated One Handed Operation

One C battery is required. The Bakers Dusting wand is great for dusting cocoa powder or powdered sugar on desserts and for dusting flour on the counter for baking. One half of the wand is solid and the other half is perforated for even distribution. You are able to have good control over where the flour goes because you can scoop it. Easy one-handed operation, never comes apart during use. Dust and pick up for baking. The dishwasher safe is made of 18/8 STAINLESS STEEL. Professional and family bakers use flour duster. It's small enough to fit in the drawer without taking up a lot of space. There is a powder sugar shaker.

Brand: Hulisen

👤The OXO wand is smaller than this one. It's hard to clean since there's no way to keep it open. The OXO wand is more stable and less cumbersome, but it doesn't distribute flour as evenly. It's less likely to open due to carelessness or accident. I wanted two different wands to distinguish between rice and wheat flour during bread shaping.

👤When I opened it, I thought it was the reflection from the light, but when I removed the duster from the bag, there were chunks of paint removed and the device was not made of steel.

👤I haven't used it for anything yet. I used it for cinnamon and it was amazing. I love it. I took a small amount of cinnamon and it was enough for two pans of apple crisp. So nice.

👤You can sift sugar or flour by grabbing a spoon or fork. Because, this spring-activiated device "lives" in the canister and allows me to sift sugar onto desserts, cups of hot beverage, and in some cases, just used flour and curtains as I poured pan drippings. It's an inexpensive tool. I need to get another so I can keep the flour canister and the sugar canister. Hmm. A third for the cocoa canister.

👤I've been using a small sifter for 27 years. I found this while looking for stocking stuffers and thought it was cute. Christmas morning. It was the first gift I used and it was powdered sugar. It has been in rotation ever since. It holds a small amount that goes a long way in reducing waste. It works well and keeps my family from making a mess.

👤Not only for flour and sugar. It's also great to remove liquid from a few ounces of food.

👤This was bought from Amazon after seeing it on a Facebook ad. It was perfect for our use. People love thinly sliced apples with cinnamon sugar. They can scoop it, turn it to the hole side, and leave it there. The just perfect amount is what the plunger works for. We had two devices in the pack so we were ready whenever they were. The rinse is clean and has an energetic splash in the water. I don't know if I would want to use the dishwasher.

👤It would be nice to have such a thing. This is wonderful. I'm pretty sure it has paid for itself, or at least will be based on the flour I'm saving when dusting my cake pans. Really love this. It's easy to clean too.

👤It was bought on a whim but now I love it for rolling out cakes. It makes less mess.

3. HULISEN Stainless Scraper Ergonomic Professional

It's easy to clean and make healthy pastries with anti-rust properties. The idea of ergonomics is combined with the non-slip rubber grip handle to make it perfect for small to medium-sized hands. You can do more baking if you don't have to worry about hand and wrist fatigue. The measurement "inches/ cm" is marked on the surface of the biscuit cutter, pastry scraper and flour sifter. The set size is 1-3/4, 2, 2-1/4, 2-3/4, 3-1/4 inch, and height is 4 cm. The pastry cutter set is a must-have for bakers. It's perfect for making beautiful cookies, precise circles of fondant, donuts, round sandwich, flaky biscuits, mini cakes, and so on.

Brand: Hulisen

👤You would think the product wouldn't need a review. It does. The pastry knife is not terrible. The biscuit cutter is decent. The feature is nice. The ring that holds them together is useless. If you need it, get a small carbiner clip. The flour sifter is useless. The flour just pours out. There is no sifting involved. If you want a sifter that doesn't leave all the flour on the mat when you put it down, look for another product.

👤This flower sifter is wonderful. I don't write reviews if a product is bad. I like this product a lot. This is the first flour sifter I have used. It's difficult for me to hold things because of arthritis. The flour sifter is small enough that it is not heavy when flour or powdered sugar is added. I add one cup at a time. The sifter is not to blame for my hand being hurt by holding the sister for too long. The handle is easy to turn with my other hand. The small lightweight is easy to use and clean. Does the job work at this time?

👤I mostly ordered because my old sifter had rusted, but it's nice to have different size biscuit cutters. It won't rust and so far, so good, says this one. The dough cutter is very high quality.

👤The tools are sturdy. I like using the sifter. I rinse the flour off with the help of the sifter with the crank and then bake it in the oven. I was very pleased with the purchase.

👤I have ordered this product twice, once for me and once for a chef friend. They are made from high quality steel. The quality of my biscuits was greatly improved by the use of the biscuit cutter and the pastry blender.

👤I gave this to my whole family. They can't wait to continue their Sunday tradition of making biscuits together. Merry Christmas, thank you for the great products.

👤Did the job, but it seems very thin. Don't think it will last.

👤I haven't used the sifter yet, but I think it will perform well, it's great value for the money.

👤It is heavy duty. It is a set used by professional bakers. The quality is high. Very happy. Can't beat the price.

👤Adems de buen precio y calidad, los accesorios son increbles. til para muchas tareas a la hora.

👤Genial! The Résistant de belle qualité is made up of several countries. Un super ajout. Merci.

👤I like using the set and would purchase it again without hesitation, it is of a high quality not like junk you see in the dollar store.

👤There are items that are well made. I am happy with their quality, but I haven't used them yet.

4. Norpro Stainless Rotary Sifter Agitator

Norpro Stainless Rotary Sifter Agitator

There is a limited-lifetime warranty. Refer to the user manual for questions about warranty policies. Quality construction. The capacity is 3C. The hand crank sifter is old fashioned. A simple design that works well. This is the type of sifter your grandma used. There is a 2 wire agitator. No wasted flour! There are volume markings on the sifter. It is easy to use. The result is a light, even, fine powder. It's essential for cakes with a light, delicate texture. It's also perfect for giving food a light dusting of powdered sugar.

Brand: Norpro

👤The one I bought in the late '70s was smaller. It works well. It's easy to use. I didn't like the idea of squeezing the handle and shaking it to sift, it was too much for my hands. I have to turn the handle to sift. I love that about this one. I had this for about a year and a half and would buy it again.

👤It works well. Don't reuse it until it is completely dry. For those who have said that it "sprays" flour everywhere, they are either spinning it as fast as possible or they have over filled it. I use it several times a week. I love baking and this sifter is perfect for it.

👤I bought a sifter a decade ago. I wanted to replace it because it finally showed its age. The sifter is just as good for half the price. Pros and Cons: Good quality, smooth cranking motion, light but sturdy, and tape used for label leaves on outside, but not highly accurate. After each use, I store mine inside a grocery bag to keep it free of dust. This purchase was a good value and I was happy with it.

👤The mesh is about 1/66" by my measurement. This is not a sifter for me because I need something more fine.

👤This type of sifter uses a squeeze-mechanism in the handle, which is far and away superior to the other types of sifters. There is one This one is clean. All of the material can be washed out when you are done sifting because it has only one screen at the bottom. The squeeze-style sifters are prone to having materials stuck in between but never sifting all the way through, because they use multiple permanently pressed-in screens. There are two This one is easier on the fingers and hands. My wife has hand issues that make it impossible to squeeze the other sifter. I found that style to be very fatiguing when sifting a small amount of flour. The sifter with a crank style mechanism is very easy to use for long periods of time without causing fatigue to the hands and fingers. I wish I could have found a better made sifter, with a heavier duty construction and sifting mechanism, but as I was unable to find such a tool, this was the best I could find, and so far it seems to satisfy the need.

👤The sifter is a simple crank and is probably in your Grandmother's kitchen. They work well. This one makes a finely sieved dry ingredient, without pushing through clumps that form in some ingredients. The price is good for the product. It is as easy to clean as can be.

👤I have been looking for this style of sifter for a while. The kind that has a rotating bar that spins by cranking the handle around is something I like. I have used it many times since purchasing it.

👤The most important point to consider is whether or not you would prefer a one-handed sifter, instead of this one, which required both. I regret not buying a one-handed one after using it a few times. My mistake was definitely. This sifter doesn't seem to sift powdered sugar entirely, leaving clumps of it jumping over the sifting mechanism near the end, which isn't convenient given that this device already requires both hands.

5. KitchenAid KSMSFTA Sifter Scale Attachment

KitchenAid KSMSFTA Sifter Scale Attachment

This kitchen scale is backed by a 1-year so you can make your purchase with confidence. Attach the Sifter plus Scale Attachment to the power hub of the KitchenAid Stand Mixer. Then experience hands-free sifting as the sifter gradually mixes the ingredients into the bowl. The scale is battery operated. It saves time when sifting hands-free, as it gives more consistency and fluffy baked goods. A critical part of successful baking is measuring ingredients by weight. The scale plate can be used separately on your countertop. A generous capacity hopper can hold up to 4 cups of dry ingredients at a time. The included storage case makes it easy to keep all parts in one place. The parts are dishwasher safe. The model includes a Digital Scale, Ingredient Hopper, Sifter Housing, and Scale accessory plate.

Brand: Kitchenaid

👤I don't like sifting dry ingredients when I bake. It takes a lot of time and is messy. I have tried many types of sifters and didn't like any of them. I thought that KitchenAid heard my cries and answered my call for help when I saw the announcement about the stand mixer attachment. I was concerned about some of the other reviews after it took a while to arrive. They were mixed and some were discouraging. I made an excuse to bake something when the puppy arrived. One reviewer said that shouldn't be attempted with this attachment. I was very pleased with the finished results, but I am not sure what that person did compared to what I did. There are a lot of parts when you disassemble it. I like to take my kitchen equipment apart so I can get a deep clean. It is easy to get it back together the first time. Every chance I get, I use the attachment. I don't mind having the cup capacity larger for my bigger bakes, but that is a minor issue for me. It is recommended for serious bakers.

👤I hate sifting and do a lot of baking. I use a lot of sugar for my buttercream and thought this would be a great addition to my kitchen aid mixer. I was not happy with this device. It's slow. It's loud. The strainer portion of this is larger than a silver dollar and so you have better be prepared to wait when you are trying to sift 2 cups of something. And wait. And wait. If you get a clump, the screen is so small that you have to disassemble it in order to remove the clump, because it stops the weak little flow of powder. I would like to return it for a refund. Maybe I can give it back to someone I don't like.

👤I really like this product, it's a clever combination of things, and it's a good price. You get a little 4 cup hopper, which you load with your ingredients, and you can weigh and sift them right into the mixer bowl. Unfortunately it has some problems. I'm returning it. The scale is very nice, and you can use it as a stand alone counter top scale. The mixer has 4 cups in it, but it's not much. If the mixer is running, the sifter will run if you've got your dry ingredients in the bin ready to go, so if you're creaming butter and you've got your dry ingredients in the bin ready to go, the sifter will be running. The dry ingredients don't feed down into the sifter using any technology other than gravity, which means it gets stuck 95 percent of the time, and you have to bang on the side of it to get the ingredients to drop. The scale to weight option is convenient, but there's no way to mix them in the hopper since it's so small. You'll need to measure them into another bowl, mix them, and then load the Hopper for sifting, which negates the value of the whole deal. I really wanted to like this thing, but it's more for a beginner baker who can add ingredients one at a time and use a 3 or 4.5 quart mixer.

6. Makerstep Stainless Strainers Preparation Lightweight

Makerstep Stainless Strainers Preparation Lightweight

With the Dough Scraper, you can get every last bit of batter dough from each bowl without leaving a trace. 3 mesh strainers set of sizes: 3 3/8", 5 1/2 and 7 7/8" These wire sift sieves are the ultimate in Home and Kitchen essentials. The fine wire will not rust. It was easy to clean. When straining pasta or hot vegetables, the dishwasher can handle boiling liquids. The handles are black so you can easily strain hot liquids without burning your hand or fingers. The handles are comfortable even for long periods of use. There is a loop for hanging built-in to the strainer. Hang them to make it easier to get to your kitchen cabinets and drawers. The sieves are always right where you need them. It's ideal for straining dry items. Also use as a sifter for baking, it will remove impurities for safer use.

Brand: Makerstep

👤The package was well packaged. The shape of the Mesh Steel kept it's shape as 3 different sizes were zip tied together. The grip was non-slip and it felt sturdy. I am a clumsy person and this would be useful. I burned myself when I would remove water from pasta because the plastic handle kept slipping. I was happy to see that the mesh has a hook on top so it can hang on the wall. This purchase was very convenient and satisfied with it.

👤The strainer broke off the largest one because of the little metal piece on the opposite side of the handle. It fell off at the welds. Not strong at all! I wouldn't invest in this brand again.

👤I bought 8 months ago and used 20 times. The hot pasta flew everywhere when the handle detached from the strainer on both sides, while straining over the sink. Very dissatisfied.

👤After only a few uses, one of the handles connecting to the strainer has separated. I'm not sure if the others will last very long. I have only been using them to rinse off fruit and keep the weight in them light. It's probably worth investing a bit more for a more reliable brand.

👤Sturdy mesh and edges, sturdy handles, and good grip are what these are. I use them to drain pasta, fresh butter, and separate the two. It cleans up nicely and they still look mint despite their heavy use. The sizes are all useful. They don't use excessive force.

👤The handle of the largest strainer was loose. I had to live with the whole set because I didn't have time to get a replacement or purchase something else, and it doesn't seem very sturdy.

👤There was a non-stainless strainer in my cupboard. The replacements hang in my pantry by their loops and are far superior: fine enough mesh for quinoa, sturdy handles and STAINLESS STEEL. My only concern is that the single loop makes them rest on a pot or bowl a little less secure than the twin prongs. There are pros and cons.

👤I should have known since it was shown in the picture, but I would have preferred to have 2 support ears opposite the handle for better stability. I'm more than satisfied with that.

7. Sifter Stainless Rotary Corrosion Resistant

Sifter Stainless Rotary Corrosion Resistant

It's small enough to fit in the drawer without taking up a lot of space. There is a powder sugar shaker. It'sTILE: The ChefGiant Hand Crank Flour Sifter will break up clumps and aerate flour, sugar, and other baking ingredients to give your baked goods a light and fluffy texture. Add ingredients, turn the crank, and you will get a fine powder. It's essential for cakes with a delicate texture. It's also perfect for dusting food with powdered sugar. STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION: DURABLE. The baking flour sifter is made of high quality STAINLESS steel. Unlike plastic and wood, STAINLESS STEEL does not absorb odors. The beater is chrome plated. TheROTARY HAND CRANK DESIGN: Squeeze handles are very hard to work with and can wear you out quickly. The flour sifters hand crank design is easy to use and can stand up to repeated use. Fine mister: The 16 fine mesh screen has a smaller weave and holes for sifting ingredients. It will make it easier to incorporate the flour and result in a lighter product. Every time, it will remove any unwanted lump to make a professional-tasting product. This flour sifter is capable of holding up to 8 cups of flour and will save you time during busy times in your bakery or home kitchen. The 8” diameter x 7” high size allows for high volume use while still being space-saving.

Brand: Chefgiant

👤I was looking forward to its size, and it is pretty. The wire mesh was grazed in one tiny spot. It took a long time to sift the flour. I was sifting through about 5 cups of flour. After the second sifting, I went back to my old sifter, where the blades grazed the wire mesh. The old sifter was very fast. I returned it. Even though this may have been one bad one, a sifter that doesn't sift well is useless.

👤I like the sifter and it appears to be well built, but I don't understand how they can advertise a model with an 8” diameter. I was hoping that this was an 8” opening instead of 6” because it is 7” tall. The box says 8. It seems like they are including the handle.

👤The bars that are supposed to be against the mesh are not touching it. I had to sift it. When I was a kid, my mom had a hand crank sift. It worked well and made sifting much easier. This is not the case with this product. Really disappointed.

👤A sifter is supposed to be sturdy and well built. I sent the 3-cup back after I got it because it was so flimsy and teensy. OK. Some people may say they don't need 8 cups, but when do you fill a sifter to the brim? There is plenty of room to lower a measuring cup. The sifter blade, wire, whatever you call it, gently touches the screen, which is a good point. It's made of steel. I'm not going to put it in the dishwasher. You have it. Good product. A lot of stars! There is a It's Disclosure: I bought this sifter with my own money. I didn't get a discount or anything for my review. "Free product" reviews are not real.

👤I am very pleased with the size, strength and performance of this sifter, and I sift large quantities at a time. I was able to work through my first batches in about 1 minute. I agree with one reviewer that the handle design could be adjusted to be a bit more comfortable. Don't let that change affect the strength of the handle or the ability to control the sifter. I'm sure this will serve me well.

👤This is a heavy construction. Better materials than your grandmother. The problem is that the screen is not fixed and that it moves away from the agitators. It's not the end of the world, but it's annoying. Some reviews say it is slow, this is because they need to adjust the screen against the agitators. It is so well built that it is annoying.

👤I was very excited to find this sifter. The sifter was so full that the sides would leak. I liked that this one has a plastic handle. It does not work. The inside piece is too far away from the bottom to be used for sifting the dry ingredients. It works well for a short time, but then it needs to be manually stirred. I gave up after 5 minutes and went to my old sifter. I tried it again, and it didn't work. The handle that you hold the sifter with is too large for my hands, so it is difficult to grip. I thought a bigger sifter would be quicker and easier, but it doesn't do the job.

8. Norpro 140 Battery Operated Sifter

Norpro 140 Battery Operated Sifter

Quality after-sale service. They have faith in their strainer. They use them ourselves. If you have a problem with them, don't hesitate to contact them, their friendly customer service will be able to help you within 24 hours. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance. 5 cups and 40 ounces. The screen is made of steel mesh. It's a perfect sifter for people who have trouble turning a crank. Food safe material. One C battery is required.

Brand: Norpro

👤I received this so I can't talk about it over time. I am very happy with this sifter. I have golfer's elbow, which is very painful and comes from over use of my wrist. It hurts to squeeze the handle of a manual sifter. See the video for how fast it works. It takes attention to clean, you don't just rinse it, you have to get into the nooks and crannies. This is a great tool for people with hand or wrist problems.

👤This invention is the best since toilet paper. I didn't know I needed this until I flipped the switch and plugged that sucker in. There was no mess, perfectly sifted flour at my finger tips. I will not skip that step of baking the dry ingredients together. This is my go to wedding gift for all of my friends. If you're thinking about it, how hard is it to just use my regular old mesh shift that my great great granny gave me, well throw it in the goodwill box and prime it for you? I will change your life.

👤The product works. I can see the problems that some reviewers were having with it. I missed the fact that this product vibrates, instead of having a blade that spins to stir the flour. My fault. I didn't see a blade when I opened it, so I thought it was faulty. When I turned it on... It moved! Imagine my surprise! There are a couple of things to note here. If you don't have fine-grain flour, do one cup at a time. It will go much faster. It slows down when you put all 3 cups in at once. The weight of the 3 cups prevent it from sifting very quickly. The battery got very hot when I was done, I noticed that the handle was hot, and when I opened it, the battery was hot. I took it out. I put it down to cool because it was hot. I will keep an eye on that. It is loud, but I don't have it going for long. 4. It feels strong. This one takes the cake. The manual doesn't say how to clean it. There was flour in the crevices and corners when I finished. The wiring was exposed when I turned it upside down. I used a toothbrush and a cloth to clean it. Hope this helps.

👤The quality of the replacement for my original battery operated sifter is poor, like other reviewers, I purchased it. I could sift 4 C flour in my old one. 1 C was a hassle with this new one. The wires are exposed under the sifter. There is flour and spices in the crevices by the wires after I made my spices and flour. The entire bowl should be clean. Not a flimsy screen. Purchase as a 1time use item or look for a better one elsewhere.

👤The sifter has worked perfectly since I bought it. I took the sifter apart for cleaning and lost the sifting screen, so I am replacing it now. The only issue I have had with the sifter is that I can't read directions. For the last six years, I've only been using a single AA battery. The instructions on the Amazon page say to use a C battery. The battery didn't fit very well. If you're so inclined, I will say that from my experience, a AA works well if it doesn't slip out of place. The spring is very tight and does a good job of holding the AA battery in place. I will try a C battery with my replacement sifter to see how it works. The AA battery is difficult to put in place when you change it or it slips out of place. The sifter has pros and cons. It is very easy to use. I can fill the reservoir with flour and sift the whole thing in a few minutes. 2. I have never owned a hand sifter that did a better job with less mess. 3. It's the right width for me to sift my flour from the bags that come directly into a plastic storage container. There was no pouring from the mat or paper. I jam the bottom of the sifter into the container and it works. 4. It seems to be very well built but feels flimsy to me. There were neutral comments on the sifter. Cleaning this is no harder than any other sifter I have owned and in some cases it is a bit easier. It is still a nuisance for all sifters. This sifter has pros and cons. I would like it to be a little bit taller. Not wider but taller to hold more flour. 2. It feels flimsy to me. It feels like it might be. When I bought it, I expected it to break within a year or two. I had to replace it after I lost a part.

9. Bellemain Stainless Steel Flour Sifter

Bellemain Stainless Steel Flour Sifter

The glass lids are durable for a good look. Strong and Light Weight Storage holds a full 3 cups. Baking at home is now easier. Most sifters made for home use hold less flour or powdered sugar than this one. The metal stamped with the measurement can be easily read from inside the sifter as well as outside. There is a classic reliable hand chip and single crumb. Professionals prefer crank-style sifters over hand squeeze sifter models because they can stand up to repeated use without tiring out their hand. It's easy to sift and clean up, there's no mesh for ingredients to get stuck. The double lopper is not leaving anything behind. When using squeeze handle models, flour and sugar can get left behind, which can cause the mesh screens to get stuck. It works great with coarse and fine flours. It's easy to use squeeze handles for bakers with Arthritis because they are hard to work with and can wear you out quickly. The hand crank of the Sifter is lightweight and works smoothly. RUST RESISTANT STAINLESS STEEL LASTS A GENERATION OR MORE, because it's stronger than plastic, and it's lightweight, so you don't need to worry about cracks, chips, dents and scratches. This is the sifter that will be used for 20 years.

Brand: Bellemain

👤One of my favorite memories is hanging out in a warm kitchen with my grandmother, who was busy making a big family meal. I had to help her stir, fetch ingredients, lick spoons, and sift the flour for her bread. I put the soft flour into the bowl after I was enthralled by the skritch of the wire. Years later. I wanted to recreate that warm kitchen experience for my own children, so I took most of my grandmother's cookware. The big stand mixer, the rolling pin, and the trays were all gone. The old sifter gave its all to the cause. The mesh was pushed out of shape and the sides were scratched. I looked at the listings. When I saw the 3 Cup Flour Sifter, I couldn't help but think of my grandmother. Since it arrived, I have baked all kinds of treats. It sifts ingredients with the same nostalgia. It sits next to the mixer and ready to go when inspiration strikes. My kids argue over who should help. My grandmother had an old sifter. It sits on top of the pantry with the antique mortar and pestle and wire-side Ball jars looking down.

👤After a long time away from baking, I decided to get back into it. It's a good thing. I needed to buy back items that had been lost or damaged in order to upgrade equipment. A flour sifter was in the top of the list. I've been around long enough to know that "new" doesn't always mean "improved". There are some things that don't need much to change. My mother and grandmother used a flour sifter. I didn't think the new style was any better than the old one. I wanted to keep rust at bay, so I wanted to get a piece of STAINLESS STEEL. I decided this was the unit for me after reading many reviews. I knew I had made the right choice after it arrived. This unit has gotten me through a few baking sessions with different flours and it is fantastic. It was easy to clean. It's hard to imagine it being better. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality sifter. Fantastic product.

👤I didn't use my sifter until early October after I purchased it in August. I was excited to try, but I was disappointed with the mess the sifter made. It can sift well, but the problem is when you are sifting and rotating/cranking the handle it gets stuck and pops and your flour or confectioners sugar pops out and sprays your surface causing a mess. I should have tested it out to make sure it worked, but it is late to return.

👤The product was terrible, but it had good reviews. I took it out of the box and turned the handle to see what was wrong. The medal that turned and pushed on the mesh to sift the flour was hard to spin over. I thought it needed to get broke. I spun the handle and it got stuck and was rigid as I spun it. I put some flour in the sifter. I would spin the handle every time the metal piece went over the flour and it would spray the flour out of the sifter. I tried to push down the handle to see if that would change the piece of the medal that pushes the flour out of the hole. It was never possible to get it back in or to work correctly. There is a total piece of junk.

10. Bellemain Stainless Strainers Graduated Comfortable

Bellemain Stainless Strainers Graduated Comfortable

It's easy to use; hand wash in warm soapy water; dry thoroughly. There are three rainers. Small 3.4 inch, Medium 5.5 inch, and Large 7.5 inch are the sizes of pasta. Scaffolding will last. It is dishwasher safe because of the strength of the steel and its ability to stand up to heavy foods. Smallest foods have 40 holes per inch of tight weave to allow fine particles to pass through. A hanging hook and heat-proof rubber grip make it easier to store. Product confidence is a thing. If you don't like the product, you can contact them and they will replace it or give you a refund.

Brand: Bellemain

👤Two of the three sieves are excellent, as MeatLoaf said, "2 out of 3 ain't bad". ... I don't think that should be the target for manufacturers in their product quality control in 2019. I can't give more than 2 stars for the product. The ring of steel has sheared away in about 3 places, the problem is the bonding of the sieve latticework to it. The ring looks shiny, but it also covers up the sharp edges of the steel strands that form the lattice work grid through which the liquid so effectively strains itself. It was the fearsome matriarch of our little household that uncovered this unfortunate portion of the parts, rather than my more mellow self. It was the worst thing that she discovered this through, as it proved far more painful and bloody than my initial recognition. The language of our toddler twins has been extended in an exciting and exotic direction. I thought I should offer this for general reference since I received an email asking for a review. If you enjoy the lottery of life, then I can't recommend enough of these 3 sieve-strainers, should you actually be looking for a maximum of 2 superbly functional sieve-strainers. If you feel like a 3rd sieve-strainer would function the same as a 2nd sieve-strainer, then perhaps you should focus on something else. Each to their own...

👤strainers need to be strong to cook with. Over the years, I have had many strainers fail. The product is securely riveted, as you can see in the photos. I think they will last a long time. The smallest one in the set doesn't have rivets, so it's not going to hold much weight.

👤There are two screens. Food is hard to get out.

👤The largest strainer in my set had a manufacturing defect. The seller sent me another set of strainers after I contacted them with a photo of the defect. There were no defects in the replacements. I now have five strainers. The strainers in this set are perfect for our kitchen needs. All of them have a mesh that is strong enough to remove tea leaves from coffee. The handles of the two largest strainers are riveted to the strainer frames. The biggest complaint from Amazon reviewers of other strainer brands is that their handles break off. The riveted handles on the two largest strainers appear to be very secure, so I am expecting a long life from them. I washed them in the dishwasher. They were dishwasher safe and easy to clean. Compared with other strainers that I've browsed in stores and on Amazon, these seem to be good, useful, durable additions to our kitchen at a fair price, sold by a vendor that provided me with good customer service.

👤They're light and well made. A set of three is very cheap. The large strainer was larger than expected. I bought these to separate juice from the rest.

👤We only had this set for two weeks, but we've been using it every day. If you want to know if you've got a quality item with a quality design and build, you have to use it for at least six months. We like the feel of them in our hands and only once did we have a tipping incident with the largest, as the handle does not off-set the weight and heft of. If the handle is made to balance the basket exactly, it will affect the amount of material used. We have thrown our old, used-up ones in the garbage because we are happy enough. Those lasted a long time. "It was made to last" is what is said about the old stuff. We're both hoping that this new set will as well.

11. MaMix Stainless Baking Sifter Agitator

MaMix Stainless Baking Sifter Agitator

Product confidence is a thing. If you don't like the product, you can contact them and they will replace it or give you a refund. Steel flour sifter for icing sugar, baking powder, cocoa or dusting surfaces for rolling pastry has a strong effect. To read the stamped inside and outside of the sifter, you have to use a piece of paper. The steel is lightweight but strong. The MaMix hand crank sifter is easy to use, it can sift flour in less than a minute. A simple design that functions beautifully is what the classic crank design is about. 3 cup size is ideal for most jobs. It's easy to use and handle. Compared to hand squeeze sifter models,crank-style sifters using more smoothly and capturing, because your hand have to give strong strength to squeeze handles. When using squeeze handle models, the flour and sugar can get left behind, which can cause the mesh screens to get stuck. Hand wash in warm with a brush or cloth and dry thoroughly. If you don't like their flour sifters, they will replace them or give you a full refund.

Brand: Mamix

👤Do not buy it if you are a serious baker. I wouldn't give it away after trying to use it. I threw it away. There is a hole in the side of the crank where the wire goes when turning it. I should have noticed it before I bought it, because the flour will go right out that hole, making a mess everywhere, and you don't know how much. It does not crank smoothly. It is an oval shape so you have to crank harder. Was this designed by a child? This product is probably the worst for baking I have ever purchased.

👤I'm returning mine. It is very pretty with a beautiful color, but I found areas on the top and bottom where it wasn't painted all the way. I don't want something in my cookies.

👤I was hesitant to buy a hand crank sifter because I had never used one before, but now I know I will never use it again. This sifter is a good looking one, it worked well, and the crank mechanism is very easy to use. Lesson learned, I wiped this one down with a clean cloth, not even damp, because I ruined so many sifters cleaning them with water. The size is good for my needs because I believe it holds an ample amount of flour. I believe that this is not a problem for me, since baking is a messy hobby and I don't think this will be a problem. If it came in an assortment of colors, I would probably purchase more of the sifter.

👤The sifter will get the job done. It is not worth the price and I saw the same one in the dollar store after I bought it. It's a little noisy, but if you have larger pieces of what you're sifting, it can be difficult to turn the handle and crush it so it will sift through. If the handle locks up, shaking is the best way to sift. If you can't afford a better sifter, I would suggest you go to the dollar store and get a better one.

👤The handle and crank are very close to each other. I can do it since I am right handed, but a left handed person wouldn't. Extra fork time is required to get everything out and sifted from the curved wire. It holds 3 cups of flour, but you can't use 3 cups since the curved wire knocks it all out. It's not worth it as it was only $6.99. My hand hurts because of labor intensive work. Here it comes...

👤The sifters should not spit out powdered sugar over the top of the sifter, and the rotating "arms" should only use some of the surface of the net. sifters should not have a handle mechanism that feels like it will break on rotation. This sifter is an attempt to bring an old fashioned sense of "Grandma's kitchen" to the look of the baking counter, but that's all it does. It's useless in the kitchen. I wish I could have been in a brick and mortar store to handle the item before I bought it.
