Best Baking for Beginners Set

👤I wanted to bake a cake for my mom's birthday despite my broken hand. I ordered this because of the large amount of decorating tips. The cake isn't perfect but it came out well, being down my good hand. I like the fact that all my friends had one of the two pieces. The thread is together. I am very happy with the purchase and all of the accessories.

I decided to decorate my own things while I was in training. I stumbled upon this set while searching for a lot of product and ordered it immediately. I received it the next day and was pleasantly surprised. You can tell some of the things are cheap, but for less than $20, it was a steal. If you're just getting into cake decorating, I definitely recommend it. If you're going to start your own cake making business, I wouldn't recommend it as they're flimsy and will show some wear and tear after a few uses. I'm very pleased with the product.

👤Did I stutter? It's pink! It comes in blue, but it was out of stock. Baking is a hobby for me, but it's cheap. I wanted to make things look purty. It has a lot of stuff. It's more than adequate for a beginner like me. It has an instructional booklet with suggested recipes. Most of it is written by a person who is proficient in English. I haven't used it yet. I thought I could go wrong for the price. It's pink!

👤The quality of the items is what you would expect from a little-higher-than-basic set of baking/decorating accessories and items, and this was a great set to buy for the sheer number of items included. Shipping and delivery were very fast. There are no instructions for the assembly of the couplers or the use of the piping tips. This set was a gift for my daughter who is almost 10 years old, and it was frustrating that we had to use technology to find any instructions, even though we found some decent demos and general guides.

👤I am very happy with this product. The customer service team was very nice and kept checking in with me to make sure I got the package. My parents held the package for me because I was not home to pick it up until now. The box was a little damaged but the contents inside were okay, apart from the cake pan liners that did not come in the box or the icing tips that were damaged. Everything was perfect except for that. I would order again from this company.

It is in a box that is small and perfect. I received an email from the company asking if everything was in the box. I thought it was great.

👤This is a complete kit. Most of the other kits have what you need. This kit has everything. It's easy to decorate a cake with this quality. The non slip feet on the turntable and the spring pans that aren't in the other kits are nice. The presentation is done well. Its in a nice box and separated into its own bags. A great gift. They are loving it, and I bought them for my gf and daughter. I get to eat the cake. They got to me in hours, not days, after I contacted customer service about the eBook. The book is over 100 pages. Excellent customer service too!

👤Wow! I was surprised when I bought this kit last minute for my first attempt at a tier wedding cake. The items inside the packaging were in good shape despite being a little beat up. The kit allowed me to create a masterpiece despite the fact that the cake leveler did not work as I needed it to, but it did allow me to create a masterpiece. It's a good investment for a beginner.

👤I don't know how they fit all the stuff into this box, but once you open it, there's no way to put them back in the box for storage. Before you open, have a plan. The products are mediocre in quality, like you bought them from the dollar store. It is still an ok value for all the things you get, especially if you will use every single item in there. If you don't want to use all the items in there, then it's better to just buy them individually and get better color coordinated tools. This would be a great gift for your niece who is 13 to 17 years old. There are a lot of things that are better quality and cheaper at Ross/Marshall's or Fred Meyer. I just started to notice the cake tools at the stores after I bought this box.

👤There are many pieces to this set. If you know how to use them, that's great. I bought this for my 10 year old. I thought this might be a decent substitution as the kids sets were sold out. There is no instruction. There are pieces in there that you will not know how to use.

👤The piping bag is easy to clean. It seems pretty tough. The spatula is made of wood and silicone, which makes it easy to break, and the handle is made of wood. If you don't know how to use the pans, you will end up with a missing pan and cakes that aren't a perfect circle, and batter will leak out of the bottom of the pan. If you can get them back to the right shape, they work well. The 1cup measuring cup was cracked when I received it, but it still holds the co tents in there. I would like the whole thing to be the same material as the cup. The cups and measuring spoons are the same. The cupcake holders are easy to wash and can be used to bake with, they are also Silicone, so you can use them to bake with. The cookie cutter is small enough to make cookies the size of cookies. I think it would be better if the whole thing was Silicone, the whisk has already come apart, the handle is wooden, and the rest is Silicone. The dough mat is too small for the projects I do, but I like it because it's easy to wash, and it has the measurements on all four sides. The things for putting the frosting on are nice, the fit is good, and they work well, and are sturdy. I have used the Silicone spatulas in frying pans and sauce pans on top the stove and they haven't melted. I left them in the pan for a while. I gave stuffiness a rating of 4 only because of the items that have a wooden or metal handle, I think the handles could be improved by making them the same as the rest.

👤My 10 year old daughter loves to cook. This is the perfect first set for her since it is affordable and has a lot of everything you need for baking. This was the best Christmas present. When she got it, she was very excited.

They said it would arrive on a certain day and then be pushed back from Friday to Monday, which was past her birthday. The plastic parts of the product are similar to the metal tips of the frosting. You should take a close look at the product before buying it. You should order at least 3 weeks out. A month of safe side. Have experience decorating cakes. You won't know what half the stuff was used. I looked it up on Utube but the videos are usually shot in a hurry and don't show step by step instructions. If you have a lot of time to watch videos and research how to use these instruments, then that's great. If you don't want to take a cake decorating class, you can buy a kit that includes aAILED INSTRUCTION BOOKLET, or order a cake decorating video/booklet to help you.

I am upset that the measuring spoons are in liters and I have to convert them to liters, which is an even number, so I am just going to use the proper measuring spoons, which are liters and inches. The price was wonderful and the kit had so much that was included. The sellers were very efficient in responding to my messages and this is a great starter set.

👤I liked the option that came with other things, I wanted a handheld cake mixer. My favorite items were the additional ones. It comes with 7 mixing bowls and I have many different sizes. There is a I had a Betty Crocker, but it is made out of plastic, so I could not measure hot liquids. There are 2 types of mixing parts and 10 different speed speeds.

👤The bowls have held up well. The mixer is missing a few settings, but it works fine. I would recommend it for the right price. The product is pretty good upon inspection. I have no comments on longevity because it just arrived. There is a The measuring cups, bowls, and spoons are very sturdy and I expect them to live. The mixer seems to not work on the first few settings. I'm pretty pleased with what we got.

👤I have to update my review. I tried using the bowls for a fourth time after washing them and they still left a black oily mess on my hands. I don't know what is happening but I don't want to buy it. When I found this set, I was looking for a mixer. I thought this was a good deal because I could use the bowls. The bowls are sturdy. Even though I washed the bowls before use, I found an oily black substance under the lip of all the bowls and it was MzE I had to wash them again. I'm not sure if it was normal for bowls to be oiled. Have no idea. The mixer is terrible. It's small and hard to mix anything. It is loud. I used it to mix cake batter and it slowed down considerably even on the highest speed. The mixer emitted a terrible smokey smell after two uses. I'm not sure if I should use it again or just chalk it up to a loss. If you are looking for nice bowls and measuring cups, this is an ok set. If you only need the mixer, I would pick a different one.

👤The book comes electronically after purchase, and has many helpful tips and recipes. These are nice quality and I needed to replace my spring pan. I made a cake in the Instant Pot. You get a lot of things for a low price. I am happy with my purchase and I recommend it.

👤I had to get a replacement because the pans were damaged. Make sure to check your pans and make sure they close tight. Pros: a good set for beginners for the price. As a beginner, it's really fun to use and practice with the things shown. You get what you pay for. It's difficult to clean the edges, you need to soak the pan in a bowl of hot water to get the gunk out of the edges. Will it happen? I didn't know pans can rust, they had a clear coat on top. Non-stick. You will need to pull the pan apart to loosen the springs. It's a good thing.

The spatulas and scrapers are small and not good for making a larger cake because they are half the size you would expect. I would not call it a bargain, but it was a decent price for what you get.

The main reason I buy this product is that I am new to cake decorating and any instruction helps. If you are going to sell your product, you need to do better. I refuse to use the cupcake liners because they were thrown into the box with no packaging at all.

👤There is an update to the previous review. When I wrote my review, I only counted the pieces. Some of the tips didn't have numbers on them. The photographs in the brochure that came with the kit are not large enough to show what the tips do. The numbers of the tips in the brochure do not match the numbers used in the E-Book. There are no instructions on how to write. I bought this set to do cookie and cake decorating with my children. I received the E-Book in an email, and all the pieces were in the box.
