👤The donut mixes are expensive, but they taste better than store bought mixes. I tried the small muffin mix bag with a small amount of milk and it was perfect. I put the muffin mix in a quart zip lock bag, put the milk in, and then cut a hole in the bottom of the bag to make a pastry bag. Viola! What? There are little donuts in about 3 minutes. Without a bowl to clean up! It will make about 14 mini donuts. If you like, you can add a powdered sugar glaze.

👤This donut maker is not a product with a name like Express. The instructions state that each batches needs a flip and a total bake time of more than five minutes. The recipes make 28 donuts, divide them 7 times, and have a 20 minute bake time. I found that the heating was not even and this resulted in the donut being cooked. A mini donut pan that fits in a toaster oven is better. You expect a specialty product to produce superior product. This is not the case.

👤Nope, not at all. My 9 year old is obsessed with donuts. We are having so much fun with the batter and glazes that I could probably sneak broccoli in there and they would be a hit. It's one of the best gifts she could have asked for, because now she gets donuts all the time, and we have low donut standards in this house. 👤I don't know why this got good reviews. I needed something affordable but also something that worked. I am so sad! The bags are too flexible and the piping tips are chinsy. The first one burst in a few spots before my buttercream even made it out of the tip, and the second one was on its way to doing the same. I took a picture of the first one and the buttercream bursting through the side of the bag, as well as the second bag I tried, and its lovely stretch marks. The bag was made of a thicker material and didn't burst. I couldn't use it because it stretched out. My buttercream is in the fridge until tomorrow, when my new piping bags arrive. This is a good buy if you just want a starter kit. Make sure you invest in better bags.

The people in the party had enjoyed looking at it, and most of all, my husband and daughter. There are very replaceable items. It was worth the purchase.

I have a lot of ideas, but I don't know where to start. The case that comes with it is great for storing all of the pieces. The whole set is very small and can fit into a kitchen drawer. This is a great beginner's kit.

👤Four stars for the price. I thought I'd try piping, since I'm an avid home baker. I wanted a cheap beginner set to play with, and this fits the bill. Not great, but enough. I want to upgrade to Wilton tips eventually, but these will suffice for now. These aren't fat tips used for cupcake decorating in Tasty and Tastemade videos. They are small. I attached a photo of my cupcakes with the biggest star tip in the set, and these were my testers. You can see they work, but you can't get that big swirl you see on the videos. I was able to use the coupler as a large plain circle tip. I would expect you to get the cupcake set. The bags are small to me. I am going to invest in some large bags, too, because they work and feel sturdy.

👤I ordered a cheap mat before this purchase. I bought this set because I loved making sushi. It was worth it for the bazooka alone. It is fun to use. It worked the first time. One mat was very high quality, the other was the same mat I bought. I have never used an anavoca tool, but it worked great. The peeler works. I am not sure what the other blades are for. The duck chopsticks holders were painted. The kit includes a paddle and spreader. I mostly used my fingers. To achieve success, watch some videos online as to how to roll sushi by hand and how to use a bazooka. You can find recipes that you like. If you don't use sushi rice, you will fail. Don't put the bazooka under it. The bazooka needs half a cup of cooked rice on each side. To get the right size grooves to put the vegs, crab, tuna, in, use the channel tool. I have online recipes. I cooked my sushi rice in my instant pot. The little suitcase that comes in the box is used for the kit. It was in perfect condition when it arrived. We all have the rolls in our homes, so the only thing you might want to get is a sharp knife to cut them.

The Bazooka maker makes it easy to learn the ratio of ingredients and rice. It may take a few times to get it right. It is the same with the plain mats. I've noticed that one of the most important thins is to make sure you use sushi rice and not use too much or too little rice.

I found that it had 2 different ways to make sushi. It comes with a bazooka that you can use to add seafood or veggies in the middle of the sushi, or you can use the bamboo rollers to roll it. 👤These are substandard products according to others. After using 350 for making English muffins, both of mine have become useless. The last batches stuck badly, and the silicone appears to have been transferred to the high-end baking pans. Attached are photos. These mats were only used for a short time before they deteriorated and ruined a baking project.

👤The baking mats are great. The quality is excellent and the price is good. I use them for everything in the oven. You name it, it's from oven pizzas. I love that they help protect my baking sheets by helping food slide off the non stick surface. It is also very convenient to just wipe them clean or put them in the top shelf of the dishwasher. You can cut off 1/3 of the paper towel roll to use as a holder, and just roll up the mats and slip inside the ring for easy storage of the mats in a drawer. I highly recommend them. We use these mats almost daily and I have had them for almost a year. They look brand new. I have not had any issues with mats becoming worn or staining. I use them to cook most items at up to 450 degrees but have not had any issues with them so far. I drape them over my cups in the top rack of the dishwasher and then when dry roll them up and slip a napkin ring or rings cut from and empty paper towel roll into a drawer so they fit easily into a drawer. These things are fantastic and have paid for themselves many times over in the superior non stick surface, ease of clean up and the cost of parchment paper and or aluminum foil I used prior to discovering them.

👤I spoke with an Amazon customer service representative and was told that they would escalate the issue to have it addressed and possibly amend the product review. I am surprised that they didn't offer a refund on the product, but I think the most important thing is to see if they address the fire and safety issue at its root. There is an update on 11/11/18. One reviewer stated that these are not good for use above 400 degrees F. The mat was smoking when I opened the oven after putting it in the oven. This was the mat itself, no oils or anything applied to it. I changed my review to one star and will be requesting a refund from Amazon. This is a danger. I've been trying to reduce my carbon footprint so I was looking for an eco-friendly alternative to aluminum foil to line my baking sheets. The mats were the ticket. They fit perfectly on my baking trays. These are even better than aluminum foil because I don't have to use oil to make them non-stick! I can cook even better. I will recommend this to my friends.

👤I bought this set because my daughter loved playing with her barbie pans and utensils. She would mix things and microwave them to make decorations. She can make tiny food that we can actually eat with this set. That's true, but it's not as great as I had expected. I thought "small" would mean "quick and easy". The first recipe required us to bake a small plate of food for 20 minutes. We lost half of it because it was a mess when we tried to cut it. The same thing happened when I tried the same recipe again. The tiny measuring spoons are very tedious to use when you need a lot of wee-spoons. When the recipe turns out to be delicious, there's only one small bite as a reward for all your hard work. I don't feel like it's worth the time or the energy that goes into it, even though I appreciate the cuteness of the set.

👤This is a cute set. It is very small. It seems to come with most of the things you need, but it can be confusing because recipes don't correspond to the items. The cake recipe calls for 1 and 1/2 small spoons, but the smaller spoons are larger. It may be hard for kids to understand guestimation. Some of these items take as long to prepare or cook as their regular sized counterparts, so you're not necessarily saving yourself time with these tiny snacks. Some of the recipes seem very intensive for that size. This seems like a fun project that could quickly fall to the wayside but is definitely eye catching.

I was expecting this little kit to keep him calm until he needed help. The instructions from the robot were enough to give me some sweet, mercy solitude for the entire shower and beyond. He put the whole thing together on his own. If you take one wheel off, it will go in a circle. He attached a marker to the gripping arm to draw designs while going round and round. The robot was dismantled and put back together. He opened it two days ago. He is learning some engineering and cause/effect basics while he is at it. I went back to Amazon to see if there were any more robot kits. I would scoop them up as soon as I saw them.

If you're a seasoned baker or pastry chef who's serious about their craft, even if you don't do it professionally, look for something a little better made. The amount of things included for this price is considerable and the little case is a good place to put things away when not in use. I use a larger storage box for baking supplies that holds more and I'll probably put it in. It's difficult to get all the stuff back inside in a way that it fits with the lid closing. If it's taken care of, it should do well for occasional use around the house. It is not a professional kit. Especially at this price point. It's great for what it is, but keep your expectations realistic.

The kit was easy to use and I love the little storage container with all the dividers to keep the pieces nice and neat. This kit was perfect for a novice like me. The pieces were easy to use. Cleanup was easy. The silicone bags are easy to use and reuse. They have a bit of frosting. I had a lot of fun using this kit. It is worth the price.

It comes with the plastic tips and two piping bags, which are useful for extension, and is normally used by beginners. The bags are made with a nice thick of plastic and they are very durable. I gave it a higher rating because they are easy to clean and they are not disposable. I did not do that because it comes with some scissors. They come in a nice plastic box which is good because you need to put your tips up somewhere where you won't lose them. I used regular frosting with the first bag. I decided to use the second bag for soap making. Sometimes I let soap frosting get to a higher temperature of over 120 degrees. The piping bag held up well and all the tips worked out without any problems.
