👤Blue Q should charge a few extra dollars to make the oven mitt heat resistant. It's quilted, but a 400 muffin pan will still get through to your fingers. If you do a lot of baking, you should get a mitt that is treated to protect your fingers. If you have a catty friend who cooks occasionally, then a Blue Q mitt would be perfect.

The colors are vibrant without being neon. It had a chef's hat and apron. Measuring cups and spoons, chopping board, knives, and kid friendly knives. A spatula, ladle, timer, whisk, cookie cutter. I'm still teaching him about kitchen safety and how to clean up, even though I haven't tried them yet.

The sieve is useless without a handle, the small bowl is too small to use for baking, and the measuring cups are too small. The blue bowl is too small and the green bowl is too big for baking, in this set you need a larger bowl for dry ingredients and a larger bowl for wet ingredients. The small kitchen friendly bowls warp after a single dishwasher cycle making it impossible for them to fit together after one use. Adding a magnet to the handles will keep the set together, I recommend removing the sieve and adding a medium-size bowl. If you want to get a better value, skip this set and buy the pieces individually.

I was looking for a thinner pin because the larger ones don't fit in my drawers. I think it's easier to work with this one than the larger ones. The seller contacted me to fix the problem and then sent me the same one again. The descriptions are still confusing, the pictures match the product. If you order the pointed one, you'll get the hanging one because it has pictures of the hanging. The correct model was received. The pictures are correct and the labels are just switched. The customer service received a star.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received the new dispensers the next day. The product and outstanding Customer Service were the recipients of a Koks.

There are several flaws in the overall design of this contraption, but it needs a more liquid type of cake batter to come out. It is a problem to clean. If you go to use it again, you will find that the cake batter has solidified in the bottom of the spigot, even if you think you cleaned it the first time. I have to use a nail file to clean out what I didn't see after my first cleaning. The spigot at the bottom isn't designed for every last drop to come out. I had to push leftover batter towards the spigot to get a fair amount. The contraption needs to be a little bit bigger at the bottom. However! The item does an excellent job of keeping the cupcake pan clean. I have a complaint about the seller. There was a note inside that said if I registered it online, I would have a lifetime guarantee replacement. Great idea, right? I sign up for their site and they offer coupons for other items. Well, great again, right? I get an email from them. The email went on to say that it is wonderful for a mother to bake for her children when they come home from school. It was more detailed and in depth than that, but it is a summary. I am not a mother and this could be offensive to other people who are unable to have a child, and I am not the only one. I don't like to be told what to think. Sell your bake-ware, do not assume, change your email to buyers please.

After using it to make pancakes, I realized I couldn't go back to my old method of pouring the batter onto the griddle, which was just using a 1/2 measuring cup. It's not hard to clean a baby bottle, just make sure the spout gets a good cleaning to avoid any leftover gunk, and I would recommend cleaning it right after use. It is now so easy to get batter out of a frying pan or cupcake liners, whether it be onto a griddle or into them. When I told my mom that I wanted to buy a batter dispenser, she immediately said it would be another kitchen appliance that takes up space and never gets used. I'll never use your archaic methods of making pancakes and cupcakes with drops of batter accidentally going everywhere and inconsistent quantities; I'll always use my batter dispensers. The company is one of the reasons why this product is so great. I received an email from KP Kitchen asking if I was enjoying their product and if I could write a review, after I ordered this product back in October. I didn't use it yet so I ignored the email and didn't get around to reviewing it. On May 3rd, I asked my boyfriend to clean the dispensers around the spout since there was a small amount of leftover from the last time I used it, and I guess I missed it. I heard a loud noise as I poured my second cup of Bisquick into a bowl and saw that my boyfriend had broken the plastic handle of the dispensers while trying to disassemble it. Did that ruin my day? I didn't want to make pancakes after that. I ordered another one on my computer because I knew there was no way to fix it. I responded to the email they sent me back in October because I saw on the product description on Amazon that they offer a lifetime warranty. I asked if they would be willing to replace it. After four hours, Patrick at KP Kitchen said they would be happy to replace it. They said I should have my new dispensers by May 7th. I got it on the morning of May 6th, three days after it was broken. I am floored by this company. I would rate it higher if I could. If you're not sure if you should buy this batter dispenser, or if you should, you should; it will make you want to bake more if you do, and the product is backed by the company. 👤I'm pretty sure this doesn't make it un-useable, but the video shows it in a long tube. The mat was larger than the box it was in. The mat has a permanent crease down the middle, as well as some rippling, because it was folded in fourths. I rolled it up after removing it from the box and hoping the creases would come out. It was rolled for a couple of weeks after purchase and I have never used it. The photos show that it is still creased and rippled. The package says it should not be stored in a flat fashion. Why did it fold up in fourths?

👤I don't like having to deal with the mess of flour when making dough. I was excited when I read that even the stickiest dough would be easy to remove. I wanted that to be true but it wasn't. The first time I used the mat, I had to remove the pastry crust because it stuck so badly. The only way to get the cookie dough to come off was to put a lot of flour on the mat. The mat doesn't slip and it washes up great, that's the only positive thing I can say. I'm going back to using a pastry cloth if I have to use flour to roll out dough.

👤The plastic pie mat broke recently. This was purchased as a replacement. It's easier to use and it doesn't stick to it. I've already made pizza crusts, bread, and 2 apple pies using this mat. I like the size of the guides. It's not like my old mat. I'm still figuring out the most efficient way to clean it, and I think wiping it off with some soapy water and then rinsing it with a sponge or cloth is the easiest way to do it. The other way is to put it in the sink and roll it with a towel. It has a band to hold it closed if you lose it, and it rolls up for storage. I put some flour on it when I roll a stickier dough, but have no problems sticking it. I love it!

👤Heavy weight with markings in inches. I keep mine rolled with a liner and a band. I can prevent slippage by wiping my table with a damp cloth before I roll the mat. I only use this for rolling dough, not as a baking sheet liner. It is a nice large surface for working dough. The surface can be cleaned with a pastry scrapper. It is dishwasher safe, but I don't know how it would work in a dishwasher. I put mine in a sink of hot soapy water, drape it over a strainer, and then wipe it off with a towel.

👤When it was a one star review, I bought this. There are 12 now. My instincts were good. The sourdough starter kit is great for beginners. The banneton has a few flaws, but it's a banneton. If the basket, my loaves use the bottom third. The scrapers are very sturdy. Save the silicone pad for cookies. After a few uses, the linen liner has small tears in it. No big deal. It's linen, wash by hand, line dry. It's hard to get used to. I'm still learning how to use it. The blades may not be sharp enough. Extra blades were included in the kit. The leatherette blade protection is poor. Carefully open the bread box. You won't know which end has a sharp point. The kit was great. Before buying the kit, I started bread, now I have the tools. My process is getting better.
