Best Baking Gift Set for Adults

👤These are substandard products according to others. After using 350 for making English muffins, both of mine have become useless. The last batches stuck badly, and the silicone appears to have been transferred to the high-end baking pans. Attached are photos. These mats were only used for a short time before they deteriorated and ruined a baking project.

👤Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. First time used. They smoked me out of the kitchen and ruined a bunch of cookies. Even at 350. Don't buy because there is a quality control problem.

👤The baking mats are great. The quality is excellent and the price is good. I use them for everything in the oven. You name it, it's from oven pizzas. I love that they help protect my baking sheets by helping food slide off the non stick surface. It is also very convenient to just wipe them clean or put them in the top shelf of the dishwasher. You can cut off 1/3 of the paper towel roll to use as a holder, and just roll up the mats and slip inside the ring for easy storage of the mats in a drawer. I highly recommend them. We use these mats almost daily and I have had them for almost a year. They look brand new. I have not had any issues with mats becoming worn or staining. I use them to cook most items at up to 450 degrees but have not had any issues with them so far. I drape them over my cups in the top rack of the dishwasher and then when dry roll them up and slip a napkin ring or rings cut from and empty paper towel roll into a drawer so they fit easily into a drawer. These things are fantastic and have paid for themselves many times over in the superior non stick surface, ease of clean up and the cost of parchment paper and or aluminum foil I used prior to discovering them.

👤I spoke with an Amazon customer service representative and was told that they would escalate the issue to have it addressed and possibly amend the product review. I am surprised that they didn't offer a refund on the product, but I think the most important thing is to see if they address the fire and safety issue at its root. There is an update on 11/11/18. One reviewer stated that these are not good for use above 400 degrees F. The mat was smoking when I opened the oven after putting it in the oven. This was the mat itself, no oils or anything applied to it. I changed my review to one star and will be requesting a refund from Amazon. This is a danger. I've been trying to reduce my carbon footprint so I was looking for an eco-friendly alternative to aluminum foil to line my baking sheets. The mats were the ticket. They fit perfectly on my baking trays. These are even better than aluminum foil because I don't have to use oil to make them non-stick! I can cook even better. I will recommend this to my friends.

👤This product is great. There are so many things in it. I haven't used each part yet, but so far it feels strong and sturdy. They are colorful. I cook with my grandsons. They like the bright colors. The spatulas fit in small hands. They are easy to clean. The boys will like the egg separater. We have never had one before.

👤It was in a very small box inside my larger order from Amazon. I didn't get to see the recipient open this, but I've heard she's really excited to use this set. I'm happy to help encourage this budding baker because her grandma might not be so happy about the mess that will be in her kitchen. I'll probably buy this for my son, because he wants to help now at an older age.

👤The company took a long time to address the issues I had. An amazing product and great supplies. There were some items that were missing. The bench scraper is small and it didn't fit in my hands, so it wasn't impressive. The offset spatula is the only spatula that has a straight edge. If the bottom pan isn't placed correctly, the cake batter ends up on the bottom of the oven, which is why I prefer regular cake pans to spring form. The wire cake cutter doesn't work at all. It is not all horrible. The Russian piping tips are appreciated by me. The bags are strong. The turntable works well. It is a good start to have for baking items. I should have gone for the package with more items.

👤I am happy with this purchase. I needed the supplies for my daughter's birthday cake without breaking the bank. Most of the sets that I saw did not have any Russian pipe tips. The set has 3 ball tips. The plastic used in the turntable and some of the pieces is perfect for beginners or a few times a year. The tools are at a good price.

The amount of items you get for the price is amazing. I'm not near a pro, so this is all I need. My box came in very bent, but the Amazon box was fine. My pan was bent and damaged when I looked in the box. I bought it new and some of the things were dirty. I'm not impressed.

👤The quality of icing bags is not good. I went back to using my Wilton bags after buying a second one for my mom because the icing bags were so thin that it took so much pressure to pipe.

👤It is not what I expected. The material is similar to the potato sack fabric you see in dishtowels, but on the thinner side. The description reads "green" and the picture shows a sea-foam green color, however, what I received was a green color. The screen print on the child was not as good as I would have expected. I don't have time to exchange it because I bought it as a gift. I think they will enjoy it for its purpose. I wouldn't buy it again. I would expect it to be slightly heavier. I understand that this is light weight. I think there are a lot of materials that could have been used that fall that are better suited for an apron.

👤These are very cute. If you want to buy an apron for mom and son, they are not too girly. The adult apron is great for an average size woman. My seven year old son is well suited for the child's size and it will be good for a few years. He likes to make things out of his kid's cookbook.

👤I bought this set because my daughter loved playing with her barbie pans and utensils. She would mix things and microwave them to make decorations. She can make tiny food that we can actually eat with this set. That's true, but it's not as great as I had expected. I thought "small" would mean "quick and easy". The first recipe required us to bake a small plate of food for 20 minutes. We lost half of it because it was a mess when we tried to cut it. The same thing happened when I tried the same recipe again. The tiny measuring spoons are very tedious to use when you need a lot of wee-spoons. When the recipe turns out to be delicious, there's only one small bite as a reward for all your hard work. I don't feel like it's worth the time or the energy that goes into it, even though I appreciate the cuteness of the set.

👤This is a cute set. It is very small. It seems to come with most of the things you need, but it can be confusing because recipes don't correspond to the items. The cake recipe calls for 1 and 1/2 small spoons, but the smaller spoons are larger. It may be hard for kids to understand guestimation. Some of these items take as long to prepare or cook as their regular sized counterparts, so you're not necessarily saving yourself time with these tiny snacks. Some of the recipes seem very intensive for that size. This seems like a fun project that could quickly fall to the wayside but is definitely eye catching.

👤I gave this to my son for Christmas. He is not interested in many things, with the exception of LEGOs. The little robot kit is small. He asked if he could open it while I was in the shower. I was expecting this little kit to keep him calm until he needed help. The instructions from the robot were enough to give me some sweet, mercy solitude for the entire shower and beyond. He put the whole thing together on his own. If you take one wheel off, it will go in a circle. He attached a marker to the gripping arm to draw designs while going round and round. The robot was dismantled and put back together. He opened it two days ago. He is learning some engineering and cause/effect basics while he is at it. I went back to Amazon to see if there were any more robot kits. I would scoop them up as soon as I saw them.

👤I ordered them to use for a photo shoot. They are cute and do the job for a photo prop, but they are thin. I will probably use them for my kids after that. It is worth knowing if you are looking for a true apron.

The other items are wrapped nicely. The product was tampered with. Don't buy. I want my money back. There was no cheese. Don't buy this.

I tried a lot of things, including triple antibiotic ointment, tea tree oil, and tamanu oil. Nothing worked. I ran across this set while browsing Amazon. I applied it the first night and it made my thumbs feel better. Within a few days the pain was gone and they were healed completely in a week. I don't know what's in this stuff, but I think it's great for cracked fingers.

👤I ordered a set of hand repair sets. The bag opened when one came without the tag. The set did not have the cream. The hand lotion lid was not secure. I lifted the lid to see the marks on the lotion and it was dried up. It was disgusting and disturbing. Where is the quality assurance of both companies?

The skin around my nails was peeling and bleeding, and they were covered in dry patches. I didn't know what I wanted, but this set came with a few different products to try before committing to a full size of any one product. I love the set. The lip balm was a favorite of mine, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The salve is a blessing. The hand cream is great to keep in my purse. The almond & milk hand creme smells amazing. The butter is made from cuticle. I use the hand creams and salve every day when I clean and trim my nails. I don't like the coconut smell, but I use the foot cream after every shower and it rejuvenated my dry feet.

I smelled a strong odor when I opened the box. There was no plastic wrap, tape, or seal on the tin which was used for the item. I looked to see if there was any leaking inside the tin. The safety seals were missing from 2 items. This is a safety concern because these items go on your lips. I am sending this item back because it was obvious that the lip balms had been tampered with.

There is a Lemon Butter Cuticle creme. This is a full size jar. There is a hand repair creme by the name of Burt's Bees. There are 1 pair of gloves. The reason I ordered this kit was because I didn't receive an instruction booklet or Banana Hand crme as I had expected. I am a huge fan of the hand creme from Burt's Bees. I was hoping for something to trade off with the richness and smell of the hand creme. The use of many soaps feels like I am being eaten alive because I am very sensitive to the majority of soaps available. My hands are so dry, red and irritated that the skin in between my fingers becomes very raw, and along with the backs of my hands and knuckles are so dry that I have multiples of mini micro cracks. The use of regular lotion was painful. I tried a mixture of petroleum jelly and lotion, but it didn't work, so I switched to a version of lotion from Bath and Body Works that worked for a while, but now I'm not sure if it's enough. I have seen a big improvement since I found the Almond Milk Beeswax Hand creme. I tried some of the Lemon Butter Cuticle creme on one finger after I received my order for the hand repair kit. I put on the gloves and took a nap after applying the hand repair creme to the back of the hand that was most in need of repair. Oh, My... A. The small amount of lemon butter I put on the 1 finger made a noticeable difference to the taste of the creme. Huge... (B). Not a fan of the scent of the hand repair creme. It reminds me of something on the tip of my tongue. I don't like it and can't place it. But... It's not greasy and soaks in fast. (C) I am a fan of the Almond Milk Beeswax Hand creme, which is thick and creamy, but can be greasy if you apply it to dry hands, as it has an almond scent with a hint of cherry blossom. It lasts on my hands through repeated hand washings. I was already in love. (D) I am not sure if it was the combination of the two products, but the change in just a few hours is amazing. I will be getting more. I will see if I can add photos later.

👤We bought this for my daughter's best friend who loves to help her parents cook and bake, and plays in her play kitchen, on her birthday. She's tiny, so stirring with the big spoons and using the heavy rolling pins isn't easy. The baking set is adorable. It is a nice quality for the price, and the storage case makes her feel proud to have her own tools, and it is perfect for her little hands. A big win!
