The baking dish has a blue plastic lid. Nonporous glass won't warp, stain, or absorb odors. Glass is dishwasher safe. The lid is dishwasher safe. Large handles for improved handling are found in glass bakeware. Pyrex Glass has a 2 year warranty.
👤The item is described as a baking dish. It is stamped 8x8. It is 6x6, as you can see from my photo. This is silly. Who bakes from the top of the dish? Nobody.
👤I was excited that the glass dish I needed was portable and the lid made it so. The lid didn't stay on so it was a waste. I put it through the dishwasher and it fit, but it didn't fit out of the box. Good pan, hold heat well, cleans up quickly, and is pretty deep!
👤I will have to give this one a poor rating because it is not the size it says it is. The pan is only about 6.5 inches wide, but the top is 8 inches, and other reviewers have mentioned that it's slanted. For people who bake, Pyrex dishes are not usable for accurate cooking or baking because they will mess up a recipe and it's not usable for any accurate cooking. I will definitely not use it since it was so cheap.
👤This is the perfect size to hold a small steak salmon. Sometimes you don't want to cook in a big pan. The food cooks well in this pan. I used this pan to cook food in the oven. It's small enough to not take up a lot of space in the cabinet. The top can't be used in the oven. I gave it a four rating because of that.
👤The glass pan is very sturdy. The top keeps food warm on the table. Blue tint. Highly recommended.
👤It is typical Pyrex quality, but it is not an exact replacement for an older square Pyrex. The old Pyrex does not fit it, so it has to be stored separately.
👤I had to have one of the great dish handles and lid because I saw one at a friend's home.
👤The lid on Pyrex was broken when it arrived. Will keep the dish because I like it, but I'm not happy with the lid.
It's perfect for casseroles, stew, lasagna, brownies, cookies and all your favorite sweet dishes. Are you looking for new baking dishes? If you're not looking for something fancy, these will do well. This set includes one quart. A baking dish and a quart. The baking dish has red plastic lid. Quality. The quality of items made in the USA are not as good as items made in other countries. There is a safe amount of the chemical BPA free. The plastic cover is dishwasher safe. Pyrex containers with lids will help keep your food fresh for a longer period of time. It's ideal for taking food on the go. These are designed to last a long time. They guarantee that you will enjoy these replacement lids for years to come, if you choose from a large selection of size and colors. There is nothing like American Quality, American Design, and American Work in the world. Support local workers. Give the cook a gift that will last a lifetime.
👤The old and new models are in our possession. The other models top has a more positive lock on it, but these seem to be a bit higher quality. They do their job. Many people complain about being exposed to temperature differences. Treat these with caution and let them cool off uniformly. Follow the instructions that come with them.
👤I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I've used Pyrex before.
👤The size assortment and leafs allow for transportation for pot luck. There were no issues with leaks and the clean up was easy. Covers are great for left overs.
👤The sizes are versatile and LIDS. Great.
👤If you need one moderate and one big one, you should get good sizes.
👤Baking in it and traveling with it is what I love about it. It is easy to carry.
👤The kids are difficult to store.
Pyrex is a baking dish. Pyrex bakeware is durable, transparent and provides good heat conduction. There is no substitute for Pyrex bakeware. The baking dish is 15-inch x 10-inch. The dish is 15 inches long by 10 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Glass won't make food smell bad. It's safe for the oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher.
👤I bought one of these because of the reputation of pyrex. I was worried after I received the item because I found out most people don't know how to use glass baking dishes or follow instructions. I've never had anything explode in the oven or where I've been with glass bakeware. The instruction tells you not to thermally shock the glass, which is not a good idea for anyone over 10. People don't drink coffee out of glasses because of that. They need a handle that a mug offers. The pyrex could be used to make a sauce. The new pyrex isn't a big deal. If you remove your dish from the oven, it should go onto a dry cloth or cooling rack on your stove. Not onto a room temperature counter that will shock it or onto a pool of water on your counter that is room temp. I don't want to eat at your house if you don't add liquid to this dish before roasting meats, you should do that with all roasting meats. We owned our dish and it was dropped from the stove top on the second day we owned it. It did not break or crack. I've been using it for a while now and have no problems. It's not a sheet pan that you can abuse. Like Cast Iron cookware, glassware is similar. You have to know how to use it and take care of it.
👤I love the Pyrex brand and have several pieces of food storage ware, but this was my first piece of cookware. While I have a few casserole pans that are small enough to fit full sized noodles, they aren't large enough to fit full sized noodles. I had to add an extra step to cut the noodles in half. I was looking for a good quality large baking dish when it went down in price to 7 dollars. This was a steal, but it's worth the money even if it's only 20 dollars. I was looking for a Pyrex baking dish. It's a large size with 15 inches long, 10 inches wide and 2 inches deep. I was able to make a 6 layer lasagna and have enough depth for another layer or two. If you are feeding a crowd, this is the perfect baking dish to make casseroles, chicken parm, and other baked dishes. The risk of shattering glass bakeware is due to thermal shock, which occurs when the glass expands due to temperature change. Something is taught in high school. I'm not trying to be rude but it's easy to forget things you learned in high school chemistry. Pyrex glass is not impervious to thermal shock. There are two rules to follow. 1) If you want to place the bakeware on the counter, make sure the counter is not too cold and that the dish has reached room temperature. I remember my mother following those rules even after Pyrex changed their glass formula. I'm not saying you can't put it in the fridge or on the counter after it's out of the oven, but why would you want to put it in the oven? If it is properly handled and cared for, this Pyrex baking dish will be used to make large baked meals for years to come.
The package weight was 4.6 lbs. It is designed for countertop ovens. The dishes are perfect for a single serving meal. High-quality glass for heating. The dish does not absorb food odors or flavors. The dish is dishwasher, freezer, microwave, and oven safe. The 6-piece set includes two square dishes. The components include: 18oz square, 24oz square, and 28oz square.
👤We purchased this set to use in our oven. Under "WARNINGS", the included "Safety and Usage Instructions" state that you should not use a toasting device. There is a The original pyrex formula was changed when the company was sold. Any use is forbidden if you read the instructions. There are many warnings and taboos. What is the point? I'm not sure what we're going to do with our mini pyrex, it's pretty much unsafe to use for all the reasons you would want to use it, according to the instructions.
👤Pyrex makes it easier for me to leave them behind. The dishes that I got are not durable and are broken after light contact with my kitchen floor. The larger one slid out and shattered because they don't stack well. I knocked Pyrex off my kitchen counter without incident. Less expensive products will be where I turn to. They are too delicate in a busy kitchen.
👤They are perfect for the Instantpot, but they do not do well or come with lids. I don't know if they come with them.
👤I was surprised that the larger dishes don't fix in the InstaPot Vortex Plus. The larger of the two would not fit in my Vortex and I had everything ready. I had to change my dish to a medium size and it worked. You can't use two dishes. The ad needs to state that only the small and medium dishes will fit.
👤There is not much to review. It's Pyrex glass so it can be used in the oven and microwave, which is a good size for an individual serving. I wish they would make the mini size with glass tops again. It used to be possible to order Pyrex or Anchor mini- or personal sized casserole dishes with glass tops. No more! Everything has a plastic top. The glass tops are great for the microwave. You can use one dish for a top and the other for a bottom by using these. It is better than anything else, but not quite like it used to be. The glass tops still come with the full sized casserole dishes.
👤It's perfect for the Air fryer.
👤It's perfect for my oven. These are perfect for making 1/2 my casserole recipes and reminding me to keep portions correct because I have difficulty cooking for two in a large family. This set is used almost daily.
👤Third time is charm. The little dishes are very good. It took 3 orders to get satisfaction. I got 4 out of 6 dishes. The 2nd order was smashed because they weren't in the original box. I tried to get the dishes to work in my microwave. I'll be using them there. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the 3 tries to get the correct order.
👤I love casserole dishes. They needed better packaging. One of the dishes had to be thrown out. One of the larger casserole dishes has a small crack. The ones that survived the shipping process are still my favorites. Please make sure to pack the items you send.
A freezer, oven, and microwave safe. Nonporous glass won't warp, stain, or absorb odors. Glass is dishwasher safe. The lid is dishwasher safe. Large handles for improved handling are found in glass bakeware. Pyrex Glass has a 2 year warranty.
👤I haven't used it in the oven yet. I have used it for desserts that don't require baking. The bottom sides and corners need to be more straight, it was a little awkward to scoop them out with a metal type spatula. The cover was disappointing. I made sure the dessert was below the upper edge of the pan when I finished because it should have been made to rise up off the pan. If the cover was more ridged it might have helped. I did not stack anything on top of this, so if you plan on stacking anything on this, don't. I measured the bottom corners from corner to corner, and it was closer to 8x12 The top has a corner to corner inside. Don't buy this if you need a true 9" x 13" It seems to be a quality product, but it needs to be adjusted a bit. I had a hard time trying to like this.
👤I've tried everything but removing the sticker from the glass on the baking dish. Amazon states that I cannot return the item. I will not purchase from the seller or recommend them to anyone.
👤I find this dish to be better than other materials for some dishes. The snap on lid makes it a real kitchen workhorse because of its ability to be microwaved, easily refrigerated, frozen, and transported. They are also able to nest. The height of the two stacked dishes is about 1.5 dishes. I've used it for cakes, bread pudding, salads, sweet potato pie, and casseroles. I like being able to see the leftovers from the side of the house. I've worked for years to perfect roast potatoes. I'd always used a thick roasting pan. I used this dish as a spare when I needed to cook for a large party. I didn't have high hopes but it was a great discovery. The potatoes were crispier in the pyrex dish than in the metal one. It will be my go to dish now. It would be even better if cast iron was even better. The only downside to roasting is that you can't put it on the stove. The dish does a good job of cleaning up, but it can benefit from a bit of scrubbing. I sometimes use a light wire wool, but I don't have a problem. They are harder to keep clean than a high end non stick. I think pyrex wins because of the fact that it's possible to use metal utensils on this dish. The biggest flaw is the lid. It comes down too much into the dish, meaning you can't put the lid on when the dish is full. This line of dishes would be perfect if the lid was more like a Tupperware lid.
👤I had to buy another pyrex baking dish because I love it so much. This dish is in use all the time so when I grab it again it will either be in the dishwasher or held for leftovers. I needed more than one. This one is different from others in that it has a blue lid and the rest is exactly what you would expect from this brand. It cooks well and the lid is easy to remove. You can't go wrong.
The green baking pan is never out of style. You can use the baking pan to make casserole and roast chicken for yourself. It's an ideal gift for people who like baking. Food odors, flavors or stains won't be absorbed by non-porous surfaces. Glass dishes are dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, microwave and pre-heated oven safe. The plastic lids are dishwasher safe, freezer safe, and microwave safe. The USA makes lid and vessels. There are two things included: Pyrex 2qt Square 222 Glass Dishes. Pyrex 222-PC blue lid.
👤The plastic cover for the glass baking dish is paper thin and complete junk, and I'm shocked that it wasn't made in China. The cover of this Pyrex product is poorly crafted, so don't buy it, even if you're not sure what happened here. Don't even think about putting this cover in a dishwasher, I'm also concerned about running hot water over this crappy lid/cover.
Pyrex Glass has a 2 year warranty. There is a 3-Quart glass baking dish. Nonporous glass won't warp, stain, or absorb odors. Glass is dishwasher safe. Large handles for improved handling are found in glass bakeware. Pyrex Glass has a 2 year warranty.
👤For those who didn't know. Pyrex changed its formula to save money. The original recipe for Pyrex bakeware is capitol P. This is the one that can take a sudden change in temperature. The newer formula of Pyrex is called the small p. It shocked a lot of those garage chemists who make illegal stuff that they need that change in temp to make their product. The cups exploded in their faces. If you want the good stuff, look for the name Pyrex. Not a pyrex. They hid it in plain sight.
👤This item is not for sale. When you bake with it, it shatters into a million pieces. I pulled it out of the oven and it exploded in my face. This is a knock off Pyrex that can't handle the heat of an oven. You could be seriously injured if you buy this item. The explosion was so powerful that there were glass fragments all over my kitchen. It's the worst purchase ever. It's horrible.
👤Long but not very deep. Can't make a decent casserole. Food falls over the sides. It doesn't hold much food. A quart holds more. Nobody makes a lasagna with only two layers. I should have checked it out sooner, but I waited to open the box to send it back. Also have strong hands.
👤A piece of garbage. It was the first time it had ever been used in the oven and it exploded into 1.2 million pieces of glass on the stove top, where children and dogs walk. Is this a baking dish that can't hold its s**t together at the lowest temperature possible? I think the manufacturer employs as many lawyers as they do engineers. I wonder how the makers of this piece of s**t sleep at night.
👤Every week I cook a casserole. These are strong. I received them at my bridal shower after buying them in store. They are a good size and last a long time. Use a brillo pad if you get stuff that won't come off with regular washing. I was afraid it would scratch the glass, but it didn't. It looks brand new now, because it took off all the baked on oil.
👤I checked out Amazon to see if I could get free shipping after my roommate broke my Pyrex, but it was not because it was poor quality, but because of the cardinal glass rule: if the baking dish is hot, it needs to be transferred to cloth or a cooling tray. Knowing this tip will hopefully save you from injuries and messy clean-up. I thought it was common sense. I will have this item for a while as my roommate no longer lives with me. It's a good thing.
👤I only used it once in the oven. I opened the oven to check my food. I didn't even touch the tray, it shattered in the oven.
👤Pyrex has been in my kitchen for a long time. When my son brought a casserole with grab handles, I was thrilled that Pyrex made this addition to their wonderful baking dishes. They perform well and are easier to remove from the oven.
It's safe to cook in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven. Pyrex glass won't stain or absorb odors. It's safe for the oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher. You can watch your food as it cooks with clear glass. As long as there are no sudden changes in temperature, it's incredibly durable. It is tough enough for frequent use. Every package has a pair of Pyrex glass baking trays.
👤We found a spare Pyrex baking dish on Amazon, since we have had the same size dish for over 30 years. The glass is much cleaner than our old one, but it does not lay flat on a countertop like the old one, and there is a definite wobble. The wobble doesn't add to our confidence that this dish is the same quality as our old one.
👤Don't buy! Glass will break in your hands while washing. This is a thin glass that isn't tempered to shatter for the safety of the user, so it's not Pyrex. I have had this product for a year and a half and I found out yesterday that it had shattered in my hands while I washed it. We had to go to the emergency room because of my injuries. I had a deep cut on my wrist and fingers. If you have them, throw them away.
👤The glass on the dish is slightly tinted aqua. Older Pyrex dishes were clear. The sides of the dish are not straight up and down. The inside of the dish is raised with a small depression all around the outer edge. A change in level is more pronounced than my older pyrex. For others who are ordering sight unseen, this is an example.
👤This bake dish is disappointing. The Pyrex bakeware I have owned seems to be consistent with other Pyrex bakeware, but the dimensions are different. The bake dish has a base and a top. This one is 7x11 at the top but has a smaller dimensions at the base. If you want to replace an older Pyrex dish, it is not a problem, but a disappointment.
👤I broke the one I wanted to replace. I was happy to find this. I don't like the holes on the sides of the new ones. My mother had a larger size. It has to be at least 50 years old and new.
👤Don't do it! I had an original Pyrex pan that lasted for years before it broke. The pan did not last a month before it shattered. The pan with all cap is made using the traditional glass that can hold up to sudden temperature changes. What a waste... who gave these?
👤After breaking my first casserole dish, I immediately ordered another as I liked the first one so much. I have a small sink and a 9 x 13 dish doesn't fit it. The size is easier to clean. This is the perfect size for a roll of crescent dough to create a crust for my casseroles.
👤It is really small. It is my fault that I did not look at the measurements. Before buying, look at the measurements.
👤Cuisine ma lasagne, format pile poil. Depuis longtemps, Je recherchais. Je trs satisFAite. Si un couvercle s'ajoutait.
👤The pyrex baking dish is smaller than the one I wanted, so double check the sizes when ordering. We kept it because of the trouble with the shipping back.
👤The pyrex dish is large enough to hold my sweet potatoes in the oven. It's easy to clean, and I'm happy to have found it.
Easy clean up. The smooth glaze is easy to clean with soap and water. Save with a set of 2 The perfect size for baking desert dishes. Pyrex glass won't stain or absorb odors. You can watch your food as it cooks with clear glass. It's safe for oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher.
👤The Pyrex glass dishes were sold in a 2-pack and exploded when they were inside the oven and on the counter. My partner and I are both experienced cooks, and were not using the cookware for anything other than cooking. Pyrex used to be a very trustworthy name in glass cookware.
👤One of them was shattered when it arrived. I didn't open it because it was wrapped together. It is shattered like sand. I had someone come over. I hid the box in the pantry. I think it is too late to come back, I forgot about it. It is the fall of ordering from the internet.
👤I used pans for the first time. The inside rim is so sharp that it got two sections of my finger that were damaged when I tried to wash it. The first time I used it was after my return window for Amazon closed. I had to replace my pyrex pan that had shattered after being removed from the oven and set on a cool top.
👤The Pyrex pans were ordered on July 9, 2020. The glass cooking dishes were used in the same way as before and shattered when heated in the oven. Did these pans only have a three-month useful life?
👤This is the most used dish in the house. I bake almost everything in the oven, from meat to casseroles, to brownies, cakes, and side dishes. I don't have to worry about fitting two side by side in my oven. When I realized what I had done, I went back to get the retreat that I left. Guess I'm not the only one who likes them. I was glad to find them online because the local stores seem to only sell the easy grab dishes which I don't like because only one at a time fits in my oven. I don't know how old my other one is, it's been used many times, but I think it's impervious. I can't live without this pan.
👤In the summer, we often host family and friends to our lake cabin. This dish is perfect for casseroles and egg recipes. It's great in the freezer and safe in the oven, but also attractive enough to present on the table. I usually use SoftScrub to clean stubborn messes, but have also used the help of the bartender's friend.
👤A good quality baking dish. I wanted to replace my last one. I baked it and put it in the sink to soak. I knocked over the jar of shrimp cocktail sauce that was in the cupboard above the sink after it was soaked. It was like a fire cracker when the cocktail sauce fell into the dish. The baking dish was large but the cocktail sauce was good. The 2 pack I bought was to replace the one. A little caution. The blue lid on the dish locked into place. These dishes don't fit the blue lid. The dishes don't have holes in them.
👤These are not the Pyrex you bought a long time ago. I was surprised at how light they were. I am hoping they will hold up like the originals. Time will tell.
10 year guarantee against manufacturer defects. The set includes a 3-Quart Oblong Baking dish with a blue plastic lid and two 8-inch square baking dishes. Nonporous glass won't warp, stain, or absorb odors. Glass is dishwasher safe. The lid is dishwasher safe. Large handles for improved handling are found in glass bakeware. Pyrex Glass has a 2 year warranty.
👤After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to get these. I'm happy I did. I use 2 of them at least once a week. They are a staple for me. I go from the fridge to the oven frequently and have had no issues. I wish they had lids for all the sizes.
👤Pyrex wins my money and my loyalty every time. They have not left me down. The Pyrex Easy Grab 5 piece is a must have in my kitchen. I'm not the best cook and I'm not the worst. I like to make casseroles, breads and meatloaf, but with dark metal pans, I burned my food. Pyrex doesn't warp or leave metal behind when the pan gets older. Pyrex lasts longer than most marriages and makes you happier than a cheat, according to one of my good friends. Oh! It's hard to break one of these. I'm clumsy and have dropped all of them. Don't leave it sitting on a burner that's on and hot, you'll crack the pan. My chicken stuffing paid the price after I learned that lesson. You'll never regret it if you get this. I have become a better cook since I got these. You can't make a casserole.
👤I used all of them for thankgiving, and they all performed perfectly. I'm hoping that won't happen to me in a few years, I can see how it would ruin someone's night. I'm taking precautions because I've seen Consumer Report's story on how this new glass is less forgiving, so I'm just taking precautions. I put them on the pot holders to make sure the glass doesn't get shocked.
👤The first time we tried to use one of these, we put it in an oven that was at least 350 degrees. It shattered inside the oven after 25 mintes. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not. I will update once Amazon responds. The entire set is being replaced by Amazon. Will use the new set to update with a quality. We have been using these for a while now and have no issues. It must have been a mistake.
👤I should have read the add closer but only one lid. It's unbelievable? Who would want a lid for one of the pans? You can advertise it for a few dollars less if you don't put the lids on it. That is like selling a bike with only one tire.
👤Great pans for cooking. It is very easy to clean and keep clean. I bought a different set with lids and now rarely use them. They are great for things that are expected to have left overs.
👤The first time I used this 9x13, it exploded all over me when I put it on the stove after removing it from the oven. I didn't know how to get a refund after I pitched the box.
👤This is the best set for bakers. The handles make it easier to hold on to. The sizes are perfect for different portions to serve and they all have the same location for storage. This set is a perfect gift for any occasion.
We will take full responsibility for any damage or quality problems if the customer receives a ceramic baking dish. They will reply to you within 24 hours and try to solve your question. The size is 9 inch x 13 inch. The handles are larger for safe handling. Pyrex glass won't stain or absorb odors. Pyrex glass won't stain or absorb odors.
👤The sound of an explosion after 30 minutes in the oven, and large glass pieces all over the oven. This is Pyrex. What would SALVAGEDATA would have expected? What is my recourse? I will be on the phone in the morning. Cleaning class and juices from the oven is what I will be doing tonight. Another review said the same thing. What does that mean?
👤This is the pyrex dish for people who like deep dish lasagna. The lid fits tightly and is great for carrying the dish. pryex glass can be used for casseroles or cakes. I love it! It will be heavy if you fill it with lasagna.
👤My cockatiels love the cage-top table-top bird bath because it's deeper than the usual glass baking pan. I let my bird bath on top of the open cages in my room. I don't think this is large enough for in-cage use.
👤It's great that you don't have to worry about food spilling over the edges of these casserole dishes. There's a cover for the casserole for easy travel.
👤So sad! After just 2 uses, this pan exploded in my oven. We heard a big pop while cooking a casserole at 375. There was dinner!
👤Where has this been all my life? I received it in perfect condition, and I absolutely love it!
👤This was bought for a recipe that was too short for my regular pan. It was needed for Millionaires Spaghetti. It's not waist friendly. It is a good size for a dish like lasagna. It can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. If I make something the day before, I let it sit out for an hour before putting it in the oven. The cover is very secure. No issues with this!
👤The size is adequate, but the lid is not. Doesn't seal. You slide it into position, but it doesn't make it airtight. It seems cheap to me. I want a top that matches the quality of the bottom.
👤The dish is deep enough to fit all casseroles and dishes.
