Best Baking Gloves Pink

👤I have been using pot holders for over 50 years. The pot holders on the cast iron dutch oven were not working. The dutch oven's Silicone Grippers didn't work well. I tried them. I bought the pink ones. When handling a heavy cast iron dutch oven, they work well. No worries about the pot getting hot. They are great for all my baking needs as well. I recommend them.

They made a pot holder. My husband and I use these for our preferred pot holders. It's a good way to strain liquids from pots. Since you have all your fingers to grip, you get a better grip. Not the intended purpose. I was too lazy to send these back and they ended up being useful.

Some of it does stretch. It is very tight on the fingers. I don't have fat fingers. I can get in, but I have to make a fist or bend them to get something. It might be perfect if the had a bigger size for bigger hands.

I only gave 4 stars because they are so large. My mother is small, so it would be nice if they came in different sizes. I would buy again.

👤I wanted to have another ov-glove, but we bought one years ago. It was cheaper to buy these than it was to buy a single ov-glove. Buy these! They work well, and you can remove anything from the oven safely. They only work for a short time before you start to feel the heat. If you pick up a pan, you won't want to hold it for long, but the heat sensation will convince you to set it down.

👤I am very pleased with the gloves so far. I bought them to lift the oven out of the oven. I bake bread at 450 degrees. Silicone potholders did not offer enough heat protection. I had plenty of time to remove the dutch oven from the stove top, even though I felt a small amount of heat through my fingers. I use a dutch oven inverted with the lid serving as the base and the base acting as a domed cover. It gets removed halfway through, which was a significant challenge before. The gloves made a huge difference in dexterity. If they came in other colors, I would have liked it. We will have to see how well they wear. I found them snug with the fingers. The fit of the gloves was acceptable and I was able to adjust the fingers on my fingers. I have large hands.

I bought these gloves because they seemed to be the best for the price and I think I made a good investment. You must keep the gloves dry. This is the case with any pot holders. If they get wet, the water can get into the interior and when heated it will turn to steam and burn you. Make sure they are completely dry after washing them.

👤If you think you're buying these because of increased dexterity, you're wrong. They don't fit well, the fingers are large, and it's hard to pick up small items. I took my hand out and the lining came out. I put it back in, but I couldn't get it right again. The lining is bunched up in the tips of the fingers, and nothing I've tried has fixed it. The already bad dexterity is worse now. They work. If you need something to hold hot stuff, get it. Don't get your hopes up if you're expecting better dexterity. A little better, but not much.

👤I've never been able to use oven mittens because they're so large that my small hands can't get a good grip on the item I'm removing from the oven. I thought I was stuck with pot holders and burned on my knuckles. When I saw them for the first time, I was horrified. I could get both hands and at least one foot in each of them. I put one on and realized that the fingers and thumbs are just the right size, because the gloves are long enough to cover most of my forearms. I can get a good grip on a casserole dish without burning my hands or wrists. It's easy to get on them, just rinse them off with running water and put them back in the drawer. I can't imagine why people wouldn't love these gloves as much as I do.

I seasoned the cast iron frying pans, a cast iron wok, and a cast iron griddle. I was able to move the oven rack with the gloves because the oven was so hot. I got them to use with my Vortex Pro but they work so well that they are the only thing I use now. They are thick enough to protect but not so thick that they restrict dexterity. The inside of the gloves are small and the only draw back is large hands. The gloves are perfect for me, even though I was reluctant to buy them, they are everything that is advertised about them.

The pink fabric melted off the second time I removed a hot pan from my oven and both of them smelled like chemicals. I threw them in the trash because they scare me. The money is wasted.

👤The husband exclaimed, "Oh my gosh!" When using the grips. Not a good sign. The heat is felt through the ridges. After use, the trivets were sticky and black on the countertop. I think they were melting. They seem easy to clean, but since they are in the trash that doesn't make up for the lack of function, this company is contacting me to remove my review. Please stop. I said what I said in the original review. I hope you would improve your product rather than harassing people who give honest feedback.

👤Absolutely love this set! The gray is a great medium tone, and I love the different things that come with it. I use the pot holders all the time and have washed them in the dishwasher. My hands don't burn when I'm in the kitchen or taking hot stuff out of the oven. I like the fact that the oven mitts come up my arms, I tend to burn myself but haven't found these yet. I shared this with my sister in law.

The extra-long mitts are great for when you have to reach deep into the oven and also when you're grilling. The tape pads are great for protecting tables. The little finger mitts are easy to use. The set in pink was stained by a tomato-based sauce and I made a mistake ordering it in pink. It's something I hadn't thought about, but hopefully it will clean out. I usually buy darker colors where this isn't a problem. I highly recommend this set.

👤Good product. I'm 6'3 and 200 lbs. They are longer than average and allow you to reach in the oven without burning your arm. I use the little finger grips a lot. They are put under to help with gripping. It requires more washing but it improves gripping. They are bulky and take up the entire drawer. The trivet is good to use. No melting or other issues. The trivet protects the surface well and requires a little extra attention when cleaning.

The old-fashioned quilted fabric style of oven mitts had gotten really dirty and burned through in spots so I decided to give this Silicon version a try. The big mitts are great for getting things out of the oven. The Silicon is very soft. You don't feel like things are going to slip, and they're easy to wash off. I like the small pincher style holders for smaller items like hot bowls, which are not as big as the big oven mitts, and for moving stuff around on the stove, which is not as big as the big oven mitts. I use the trivets a lot. I like that they're non-slip, and they're lightweight, so they're easy to move around in. I get nervous when the big hot pot is going to slide or tip off, but not with my small hard trivets. I cook a lot. I didn't know how much it would change my life to have a good set of mitts.

I will be happy to speak with you if you want to know more about these gloves, they work. I heat my oven to 600 degrees to cook steak. The stones are active in heat for 3 hours. 👤I was hoping that these gloves would work. I needed to move the meat around on the grill by hand to get a good sear on it. I had no trouble working in the high temperatures, even though I could feel a little heat. The cleaning was easy because of the way they worked. I think the heat comes through more if these get wet.

👤I bought the gloves to have a backup. They are a good purchase. The measurement of a glove length of almost 14 inches was unsatisfactory to me. The gloves I received are about 11 inches long. I don't think more than 2 inches (5 cm) would be missing from the cuffs if I didn't take an accurate photo. I wear a size 6.5 glove when I am a medical professional. I chose the smaller glove size because of this. I didn't expect a shorter wrist/arm protection area, and shortening the glove from 13.75 to 11 inches is not in line with the normal measurements. I have to be extra careful when lifting heavy items out of the oven because my forearms get scorched.

👤These are better than any cloth oven mitt I've ever owned. I've never bought anything from Walmart and they were straight garbage. The main appeal of these is that they don't conduct heat well, so you don't burn yourself, and they have insane grip, so you don't drop burning stuff on yourself. It does both of those very well. I've never tested it, but I don't feel any heat on my body. I have never dropped anything while holding these. When my soup is too hot in the microwave, I put these on to carry the bowl. The grip is insane. They're almost like cups with how well they grab onto something. The problem arises when you have to put it down. I have to move my arm in a way so as not to flip the tray when I set an oven tray down. You have to drag the tray with you to slide your hand out. I have to set it on the stove so I can use the space on the burners to move my hand out from under it. I have small hands and these are one size. If you're wondering if you have small hands, you don't. Those of us with small hands know it. I can't fit my fingers all the way to the end and my thumb can't reach all the way. The extra flab doesn't make maneuvering any easier. These mitts are made to fit a man like Paul Bunyan, who is a bit larger than me, so they're a bit too good. I recommend them to people who have the right fit, because I can't dock more than 1 star for this.

👤15 minutes after opening the package, I'm typing this. There are occasional black streaks on the material. I think the individual threads are covered in a dry substance. The review doesn't say anything about their use as an oven mitt. I don't think it's right to send them out in this condition, it's ruined for the reason I bought it, which is more than enough to give it a 1-star rating. This was supposed to be a gift, but I'm not giving it to them like that. I'm going to try and get a refund.

I am not happy with the smaller pieces. When my wok gets really hot, the small pot grabbers are too thin. 👤I bought a pair of thick, comfortable, no burns, and fit perfectly over my fingers from TJMaxx. The bulk of fabric pads are eliminated so you have a secure grip on heavy pans and casseroles. I ordered pairs for a friend and niece. The ones sold here are very safe. I read a buyer's review where she put one inside the other and it was perfect. Is it possible to glue them this way, but wonder what happens when you clean them with soap and water. Don't know why the company didn't just make one sturdy, safe pair instead of packaging 2 thin pairs. I will double them with an attached note. Unless you don't mind doubling them, I wouldn't recommend. They are not sure how secure they will be.

👤I wanted to use these for my air fryer. The "pans" are often dripping with hot juices or oil, making it difficult to remove them, because they are not covered in cloth. Silicone oven mats seem to be the best solution for the price. I didn't read the reviews. These are small and cute. I put them in the dishwasher immediately after they arrived because they were ready to use the next day. They are very thin and allow a lot of heat to transfer through. The threshold mentioned in the description for these is much lower than my air fryer oven which gets up to 400 degrees. I was surprised that I could feel the heat through them. I think they provide enough protection to keep me from getting burned, but your brain isn't used to feeling heat while holding a hot pan. The first time I used them, I almost dropped the pan. Since I have them, I will probably use them myself and deal with it. I wouldn't use these on a pan that is thick or holds heat more than the thin, coated aluminum pans in my air fryer. I don't recommend using these on items coming out of an oven set over 400.

👤I was looking forward to having something which took up less space in the drawer but the problem is that they get hot. It isn't enough for the mitts to survive the heat. They conduct heat as well. If I want to hold onto the cookie sheet, I have about 10 seconds to drop the pan. If I had a hot pot of pasta to pour boiling water out of, I wouldn't be able to hold on long enough to empty it. They're not very flexible and they don't open up a lot. It's difficult to grab some pans. I'm a little disappointed.
