The pot holders are 100 percent waterproof and can be washed with mild soap in the sink, making them a great choice for any kitchen. The non-slip pattern provides grip and dexterity. The 13-in/33 cm length protects arms. Silicone is easy to clean.
👤It seems a bit small. I have medium-sized hands and they fit too snug. Lifting heavier pots or pans doesn't feel safe because the Silicone has a slippery feel. Silicone is slippery and almost useless if it gets any oil on it.
👤My partner and I have different opinions. I bought it for myself, and I've been unhappy with it. It's not a good fit for a man's hand. I think my hands are small for a man and this mitt is too small. It's clumsy because it restricts me. I think it's slippery. If I don't hold it right, the heavy cast iron pan will slip out of my grip. The lining sometimes pulls out when I pull out my hand. My partner is using it as well.
👤It functions well and is a good product. It was used as a potholder with no heat in the oven. Good fit, comfort and length. The color is my only issue. The cotton wrist portion is a different color than the silicone glove part. There are two different shades of black in the pictures. Black cotton will look different than black silicone. This is black on bronze. They applied a black tint to the white fabric to make it look brown. It is not black on black. I would be okay with gray but not bronze. The white fabric used underneath and the lack of color in the silicone are the reasons why both purchased 2 and both are the same. It could have been an easy fix, so I am still annoyed about it. This is not as good as I have come to expect.
👤Is this the Easy Bake Oven edition? These would only fit small hands. These felt like straight jackets for me, because I have small hands. It would be dangerous to try to handle something with these.
👤I took the plunge on these because of America's Test kitchen, and I have to say, they do exactly what you want them to do. They are a perfect fit for me because they are thinner. It is more heat resistant than the ove glove I bought many years ago and it was better than the kitchen aide one I bought at the time. I feel like I have a lot of control when I pull something out of the oven or tilt my cast iron pan to butter my steaks, because they are all made of Silicon.
👤The silicone is very strong. If it gets wet, it won't conduct heat the way a damp oven mitt or potholder can. Unless you're going to use them with handled pots and pans, they're useless. The fat in the pan renders the oven mitt incapable of gripping the pan when you use them with sheet pans of chicken or sizzler pans. You're fine if you wash the grease off, but that's not realistic. If they get wet, cloth potholders and mitts can conduct heat and burn your hands, which is why they are poor insulators. Their advantage is that if there is grease or oil on the surface, it doesn't make the mitt incapable of holding the pan. I would rather have a towel or mitt in the kitchen.
WIDELY used. They can be used inside the kitchen for baked goods, by the grill for barbecue chicken, or even the fireplace, and they are the most versatile kitchen tools. The X-chef oven mitt is made of food grade andBPA free silicone, so it's safe to use in the kitchen or on the grill. The inner cotton lining protects you from high temperature and sweaty hands. Convenient hanging and storage can be achieved with the hook design. If you cook in the kitchen or barbeque outdoors, the X-Chef oven gloves will protect you from hot burns and scalds. Non-SLIP and easy clean. The engraved heart design has a firm grip. Wear them and wash them with soap water. X-chef kitchen cooking gloves fit most hands, small or large, to hold or hand pans, baking sheets, pots and more.
👤I liked the oven mitts more than the cotton ones. There are a few improvements that need to be made. They are equivalent to an extra large mens glove size if they are 1 size. Being a female who wears women's size small gloves, they would fall right off if I wasn't careful. I dropped a cookie tray for this reason because they are slippery and you need to have a good grip on whatever you are taking out of the oven. If you put the gloves over the cup/glass holder section of the dish rack, they won't dry properly inside. After about a year of use both gloves at the same time tore between the thumb and index finger and I didn't notice until I burned my hands, I'm planning to look into a different brand.
👤These work well. I was concerned after reading some of the comments that these are not good for picking up cast iron pans that have been in the oven. That's just a bunch of jabber. They work well. I pulled my cast iron skillet and cast iron Dutch oven out of the oven. I didn't try to hold the 450 degree skillet or Dutch oven for over 10 minutes to see how long it took before the gloves let the heat through. The laws of physics still apply because they are heat resistant gloves. I want to see how long it takes before the heat becomes unbearable because my cast iron skillet and Dutch oven are heavy and that seems like more work than it's worth. These gloves work well if you are a normal human. If you feel like your hands are on fire when you touch something 98.7 degrees, then you should keep searching for magic gloves.
👤I bought these because I was bored and thought they were a novelty. I have been proven wrong before. They're great for removing pans from the oven, removing things from my air fryer and cooking with cast iron skillets. I will order a set for each of my daughters. Highly recommended. I like these.
👤These gloves are some of the best discoveries. I got another pair to pass on after I received a pair as a gift. They're great for taking things out of the oven, moving things around on the grill, and slicing meats. I know they are not fireproof. I haven't pushed their strength. They are a great addition to any grill enthusiast or cook.
👤I put these on because I wanted to make sure I was safe when I made one of those loaves of bread in a Dutch oven. No. I don't know what "heat resistant" means, up to what point do these resist and then surrender? This is just a routine kitchen cooking, not a barbecue, not a campfire...buying these was a mistake.
👤Not enough protection. These gloves are not for serious use. Old fashioned quilted pot holders give you more protection. I used the new oven mitt to make a simple egg and potato breakfast today. I used the pan to turn potatoes and eggs. I felt the heat coming through the gloves. The heat was coming through the gloves when I tried to plate the meal. I had to bring the serving plate to the stove because of the heat. I am not happy. The fingers are too short, but they are cute and colorful. They don't protect you from the heat. We would like oven mitts for protection. The idea is not to be burned. These are not reliable to do that. I will return them.
There is a guarantee of free sore. They work hard to create the safest and best silicone cooking grilling gloves on the market, which is why they are confident in offering a worry free guarantee for satisfaction. The temperature can go up to 423 degrees. The heat resistant gloves are perfect for working with a grill or smoker and allow for easy adjustments to air vents, cooking racks, or removing anything from a hot surface. Waterproof and dishwasher safe. The gloves are waterproof and can be washed in the dishwasher. More flexibility and control is needed. Silicone gloves allow you to use your fingers, so you have more control over flames and heat. Non-SLIP TEXTURED GRIP: The gloves have a non-slip texture on the exterior to offer maximum grip and flexibility when handling hot foods. Two ambidextrous gloves fit most hand sizes, so you can share them with a friend or use them both at the same time. The gloves are the same so there is no need to identify a right or left hand.
👤I'm very disappointed that Cuisinart put their name on a product like this. These gloves are useless. They don't block heat. My husband tried to use them while BBQ'ing and his hands got so hot that it was difficult to get the gloves off. He tried them with items coming out of a 350 oven, and they did not block the heat. I would love to get my money back.
👤These are a great idea, but they have fallen short. I wanted them to work with my pot. I figured I could handle the components without worry. They are too stiff to grab anything securely. The heat resistance is not good. I wouldn't try to get a hot pan with these. You can feel the heat in them. They are ok for changing out the pot inserts, but they are not as useful as I had hoped. They don't stretch at all. It turned out to be an important factor, because my husband can even get these halfway on his hands.
👤I bought these gloves after searching for gloves to use in making pulled pork. These were not suited for smoking or grilling. If you get both gloves on so that they have a snug fit where you can manipulate food or items on the grill, you will have difficulty getting them off. They are not as heat resistant as the description suggests. Trying to hold a pan that is below the product specifications won't work for more than a few seconds. They are only good for moving quickly. They aren't durable. A finger on one of the gloves is about to be ripped off. This purchase was not worth it.
👤I was excited that they did the trick for the new stove and oven that was put in five days ago, because I like the concept of these gloves. I bought them because I found that my hand was in danger of contact with the metal sleeve around the wooden handle when I season my new carbon steel wok. I was wearing gloves to do the initial job. I was going to get a new stove on May 25th, so I was going to get some gloves. I bought a new WOK ring and was hoping it would fit. It was too late to cook when they finished installing it. The WOK ring was right. I used one of the new gloves. It worked well. My new oven has a pizza stone. The ONE GLOVE was used to get pizza on and off the stone. I used the One Glove to take out the pan I used in the new oven to try out the feature. I wanted to try out the bake feature on my new oven. I needed to use two gloves to get the roaster out of the oven and onto the counter. I put on two gloves and reached in to remove the roaster from the oven. I saw something pink when I bent my fingers on my right hand to grab theHOT pan on the right side. I stopped and thought that there was a sticker on the glove. I saw nothing when I looked at my hand. I saw something pink flashing at me when I grabbed the pan again. I looked at the glove again. Didn't see anything. I made the same motion in thin air and watched. I watched as my THUMB came out of the seam of the glove. If my skin colour was pale pink, I wouldn't have seen that flash of pink when I reached for the pan, and if I'd grabbed a heavy, 400 roaster and pulled it out, I would probably have had it. I'm pretty sure that if I dropped the pan with 400 chicken fat in it, I would have had burns on my legs, so I'm telling buyers to beware. I don't know if the One Glove arrived damaged or not, but I was lucky to have grabbed the undamaged glove, each time I used it, and this damaged glove wasn't worn yet. I used this glove three times over the course of three days and they are already damaged. I hope this review is posted because if it isn't, then someone might not notice that their skin is being exposed through a damaged glove. I don't think I would give these as a gift because I don't want someone to get burnt.

The Toplanet Oven Mitts & Pot holders Set is a great gift for your family or friends who love baking or cooking. The only kitchen mittens you will ever need. The service is reliable. 👤I was surprised by the quality and utility of this kit. I had a set of Silicone oven mitts in the past that cost less than this whole kit. Since I lost those between moves, I've been using dish towels, which is how a lot of professional kitchens do things, but leaves little margin for error since if you hold onto something hot too long with a dish towel you'll start to feel it in a few minutes. I was forced to use one hand in the kitchen this summer because of a shoulder injury I sustained. I still try to cook one handed. This brought me to this product. I was hoping to have more suitable heat protection. This didn't fail to impress. I will go through each item at a time. It comes with a hot handle holder that can hold a pan. This worked well on my cast iron. The cast iron was safe to touch even at full heat. I left this on for convenience. For reference, see the picture. The round pads are next. Since they're a bit floppy, I use them to put my hot items under my kettle. These mini oven gloves look like crab claws. Being one handed, it's hard to get the full gloves on without some skill. These are also insulated against heat. There are also pot holders. They are pictured grasping a casserole dish. I wanted to show how they fit around a thinner dish, but they wouldn't work with a casserole dish with handles extending from the dish. We have the oven mitt itself. The entire glove has aquilted liner. I held it to the hot baking sheet for a full minute and the heat resistance was fine. Since they aren't lined, you will get faster heat with the other items, but still safer than a cotton dish towel. The designs on the glove are on both sides, so you don't have to worry about orientation. The pot holders have holes in them. I have hooks for hanging utensils throughout my kitchen, so I have everything except the trivets hanging from the hooks, I like to keep them near my coffee and tea area. This can be seen in one of the pictures. If you want to save space in a kitchen, I recommend a rail and hook system. The pack came in colors other than black, which is just more of a wishlist. I would love for these to be a bit more colorful. Quality and safety are the most important things to me, and I feel safer using these in the kitchen. It's more convenient to just wash in the sink and scrub a tiny bit when you're done than to throw dish towels in the laundry.
👤I am not happy with the lack of heat protection, but I like the way the products look. My husband and I can feel the heat through the gloves. We don't put the handle cover on until after cooking, and we need to pick up the hot skillet by handle. The pot holders are the most heat resistant, but aren't ideal to use when grabbing a skillet handle or baking sheets out of the oven. There is a The set is sitting in a drawer that is not being used. I need it for heat protection, but it doesn't work for that, so I'm not able to recommend it. Sorry.
Silicone oven mitts that are thick heat resistant potholders made from premium food grade material, mittens that are rated to protect you from heat up to , and high quality mini mitt set helps you to grip hot items safely in your kitchen or at your outdoor You can slip on and off the mitt with ease. The material makes you feel comfortable. You can handle slippery items with the design of antiskid. Their gloves are easy to clean. A professional quality potholder is useful when removing hot pot lids, protects your hands from a hot cast iron handle or microwave dish, and is useful as a hot spoon holder or moving a hot trivet without burning your hand or fingers. These small mitts are very handy to use and can be hung on your oven door handle or from a hook; their color makes them easy to locate for quick access; they will nest within each other for convenient storage or use double for extremely hot or cold items. Silicone oven mittens are a necessity. The problem of avoiding hands burned by pot was solved by it. Silicone oven mittens are a necessity. The problem of avoiding hands burned by pot was solved by it.
👤We received two pairs today. I tried it out the next day and it burned 3 fingers, like I used my bare hands. This was the first time that I felt pain like this. A very dangerous product. Do not buy.
👤I keep them because they help to hold hot chickens and other hot things to cut. They are too thin to hold a pan with a lip that won't get burned. I used them with my Ninja Foodi. I had to use pot holders again. Very disappointed.
👤I bought a pair of thick, comfortable, no burns, and fit perfectly over my fingers from TJMaxx. The bulk of fabric pads are eliminated so you have a secure grip on heavy pans and casseroles. I ordered pairs for a friend and niece. The ones sold here are very safe. I read a buyer's review where she put one inside the other and it was perfect. Is it possible to glue them this way, but wonder what happens when you clean them with soap and water. Don't know why the company didn't just make one sturdy, safe pair instead of packaging 2 thin pairs. I will double them with an attached note. Unless you don't mind doubling them, I wouldn't recommend. They are not sure how secure they will be.
👤I wanted to use these for my air fryer. The "pans" are often dripping with hot juices or oil, making it difficult to remove them, because they are not covered in cloth. Silicone oven mats seem to be the best solution for the price. I didn't read the reviews. These are small and cute. I put them in the dishwasher immediately after they arrived because they were ready to use the next day. They are very thin and allow a lot of heat to transfer through. The threshold mentioned in the description for these is much lower than my air fryer oven which gets up to 400 degrees. I was surprised that I could feel the heat through them. I think they provide enough protection to keep me from getting burned, but your brain isn't used to feeling heat while holding a hot pan. The first time I used them, I almost dropped the pan. Since I have them, I will probably use them myself and deal with it. I wouldn't use these on a pan that is thick or holds heat more than the thin, coated aluminum pans in my air fryer. I don't recommend using these on items coming out of an oven set over 400.
👤I was looking forward to having something which took up less space in the drawer but the problem is that they get hot. It isn't enough for the mitts to survive the heat. They conduct heat as well. If I want to hold onto the cookie sheet, I have about 10 seconds to drop the pan. If I had a hot pot of pasta to pour boiling water out of, I wouldn't be able to hold on long enough to empty it. They're not very flexible and they don't open up a lot. It's difficult to grab some pans. I'm a little disappointed.
The design protects from -104F to 446. Silicone on the outside and a soft lnner cotton on the inside, not only defense against steam, hot liquids and heat, but aslo is soft enough on the inside that they don't rub. There is a perfect balance of protection and comfort. Extra Length is enough to protect your fingers, hands, wrists and forearm. Don't worry about burning yourself. The design is non-slip. The grilling gloves have a cute heart pattern and are flexible enough to hold kitchen utensils. The cotton cuff has a loop. You can hang your oven gloves on a hook if you don't use them. It is easier to dry gloves at home. Rub the grilling gloves with dish soap until you have covered them with soap. To wash it, turn on the faucet. The gloves can be taken on and off. You can wash or dry it if it gets dirty.
👤I have small hands and they are too large for me. If you have a large hand, they would be good.
👤I use this pair of gloves when I bake in the conventional oven. I am not sure how much protection these gloves give me from getting a burn from handling hot dishes. Baking under 450F and using them in less than 20 seconds is what I do most of the time. The cotton lining inside the gloves makes the product feel good. I can grab objects with my fingers, but the glove size may be too large for my hands. I've got used to them.
👤They might be a tad big and cumbersome but they are still one of the best heat resistant gloves I have ever purchased. I have cooked a lot of meat. With these gloves, you can grab hold of whatever you want, and just go to town and do whatever you want. You don't have to worry about burning your hands. Highly recommended.
👤I bought this for myself and my husband to wash our cast iron griddle after cooking. The gloves fit both of us. We have used them a few times. We take our hot griddle to the sink. The grip is very good. After 5 minutes, my fingers felt very comfortable. The outside wrist is made of cloth. I would be careful if I had to clean the inside lining. The stitching is well done. To hang to dry, the hooks are very handy. The gloves work better than we expected. Thank you.
👤Nice oven gloves. They are longer than the ones I had, so they protect your wrists too. It's easy to clean, just add soap and water and wash your hands. It's a good way to pull a whole chicken out of an instant pot.
👤These are large. You can see it in the photo. From thumb to finger. I have it on my computer. Even for some men, they would be big. My hand is between small and medium. You can see where my fingers are in the picture I took. I will return them. They look nice. They are lined with a soft flannel and seem to be able to clean well. I like how far up they go for coverage. Love the color. It's a happy color.
👤I got the glove type that I ordered, they are lined and have nice cuffs to keep my forearms safe. I tried them by removing a broiled item as well as baked items and they got slightly warm after about a minute but definitely not uncomfortable. They are not labeled for the right or left hand, so you have to get used to them, I recommend "practicing" before you actually use them. I washed the part with dish soap before I used it, and it didn't smell bad or sticky. I will probably order mittens in the future.
👤These gloves are just as good or better than the more expensive ones I've owned. They are easy to clean and keep your hands and forearms protected, and the fingers allow you to use these with cooking utensils, so cooking bacon and other things that splash or pop don't burn your hands. The extra length makes them unbeatable. I used these on multiple occasions while holding a pan from a 400 degree oven for a long period of time, and my hands only got moderately warm. I wouldn't make a habit of that, but that's how good these are. The listing has both hands. It's close enough! Make sure you choose the right version before you add it to your cart.
The accessory set comes with two insulated Silicone oven mitts and two Silicone potholer trivets, which are 7 x 7 and measure 7 x 7 respectively. With this set, you can worry less about working over hot flames, ovens, stoves or grills, especially when you're serving hot plates, or placing dishware on a new hardwood table. Silicone is heat resistant and flame retardant, making it ideal for moving or holding hot pans, plates, utensils or dishware. When your outdoor grill experiences a flare-up, they will spare your forearms from burns. Gloves and the trivet feature textured surfaces to improve grip strength, control and stability over hot, heavy, or slick items. Silicone oven mitts are steam resistant, unlike cotton pot holders. The waterproof part of the glove prevents steam scalds while cooking on the stove or boiling pasta. You can use it to get items out of the water. These gloves and potholders are not only heat resistant, they are also comfortable, flexible, and offer long- lasting, food-grade safeVersatility.
👤I am a senior citizen and have been around long enough to have moss on my north side. I have used pot holders made of fabric for many years and have thrown them away to purchase new ones. I am told that the new thing that looks like it will melt at the sight of heat is heat resistant. I say "might as well try it" Wow! The pot holders fold so easily around the pot handles that you have complete control as you lift and pour, or throw them on the counter top for that hot dish to rest on. They are as clean as new if you rinse them under some warm water. Excellent product!
👤I have the glove ones that fit over my fingers, but they didn't hold up to heat very well, so I had to move quickly. Silicone gloves have great heat resistance, but these Silicone mitts don't need to worry about liquid. You need to be careful how you grab things. The mitt makes it harder to wrap your hand around things.
👤I'm afraid of heat and burns. These are very thin and frightening. I have not gotten burned or worried about it, but can feel the heat, which is different from the cotton ones. Between the thumb and pointer fingers. I move really fast and do not test it. The squares are perfect to protect the table and counter.
👤I prefer an oven mitt that extends up the arm, where I have burned myself before. For my use, they could be longer. I put the black rubber trivet on the stove-top and it takes the heat just fine. The honeycomb pattern is hard to wash and dry, but I am happy with this set. I wish they were even longer because the mitt is both left and right-handed and protects you from burns.
👤This is my second set. The last one died after being left too near the gas burner. They were great until then. I like that they're thin, so I have better control. I threw out the bulky ones when I found them. The cooks around here are far safer with these. The square potholders work well as trivets. Great product.
👤These are hard to hold onto. I didn't get rid of the cloth hot pads because of that. I love the look of the gloves. When my boys cook, they always grab the cloth ones, because the square ones are good to put on the table to set a hot dish on.
👤The oven mitts are the best I have had. It is easy to clean with the silicone hand area and the lining is comfortable as opposed to all silicone gloves. If you were to give them as a gift, they look great. We use the heat pads on the counter to protect it from hot pans. Nice bonus. These should satisfy your needs if you're in the market for oven mitts.
👤This set is great. I'm happy with these, maybe others are just as good or better. I've been trying to find oven gloves that don't burn my hands. I only have seven or eight different pairs that are good for cleaning windows. I got these in the game. They work! It doesn't burn my hand when I take out things from the oven. I like to use them when I open jars. They can open much easier if I have a better grip. The product is great and the price is great.
Rub the grilling gloves with dish soap until you have covered them with soap. To wash it, turn on the faucet. The gloves can be taken on and off. You can wash or dry it if it gets dirty. The highest protection for your hands is provided by Extreme Heat Resistant, which is certified to heat up to 932F. The Grill Armor Gloves are made to last. Only the highest quality fabrics and materials are used. It's easy to clean and machine wash. All in one barbecue gloves, oven mitts or pot holders is versatile. Enjoy success in the kitchen, outdoor grill, camp site, fire pit. These gloves will protect you from burns if you're a professional chef, avid griller or amateur home cook. A thick but lightweight and flexible design with five fingers. You can grab a pizza stone or Lodge cast iron and dutch oven hot handles. It's perfect for handling hot pots and pans, stuff from the oven, microwave, instant pot, smoker, fryer, and big green egg. When exposed to an open flame, M-ARAMID and P-ARAMID fabrics will not catch fire or melt. Handle all types of cookware with confidence.
👤I got this for my husband and he said that he could feel the heat coming through from the pan straight to his fingers. The pan was so hot he almost dropped it. We've tried it a few times and it gets too hot very quickly.
👤The gloves are supposed to do what they are supposed to do. They insulate perfectly when handling hot pots. The gloves are not a problem if you touch an oven rack directly. I have been able to hold hot pans for over a minute without feeling uncomfortable heat, but they are not intended for long contact. These are not intended to protect against hot water, oil, or grease. These are very durable when used as intended. If they get dirty with oil or greasy food, it's difficult to clean.
👤I returned this item because of two issues. I thought I would be able to pick up the grating with one hand. When I tried this, the heat went through the thumb and index finger portion of the glove, and I knew I had to let go of the item quickly. The instructions state to use both hands when picking up something, so as to avoid the heat in the glove. When I purchased this item, I was not aware that one is supposed to wear both gloves when using it, even though the instructions say so. 2. I don't have large hands, but I had to wriggle my fingers into the gloves. I wanted to think of these gloves as a replacement for the oven mitts that I could no longer use. It's usually all you have to do is slip the mitts on, handle the hot item and then shake them off. All in a matter of seconds. It takes so much time and hassle to put the gloves on, when one is handling a hot item, and not be wrestling with having to put the gloves on.
👤We have owned the other pair of gloves for a long time. They stretched to the point of no return. After reading reviews and comparing prices, I decided to buy oven gloves on Amazon. I bought these. The gloves have a higher heat rating. I noticed that other reviewers thought the gloves were too tight in the finger area, I am not a small woman and my husband is not a small man, and these gloves fit both of us great. I think that other reviewers may have accidentally purchased the women's small, which is sized for people with small hands. They are perfect, I bought the one size. They have worked well for us when we need to pull blazing hot baking dishes out of the oven and handle large cast-iron skillets. The gloves are the same price as the ones on TV on Amazon. The gloves on TV have a lower heat rating, which occasionally caused some uncomfortable heat transfer through the gloves, but these gloves do not have that issue. The gloves are great and I am very pleased with the purchase.
The gloves are multi- application. It's suitable for road riding, mountain biking, professional cycling and motorcycle. It's perfect for gym, workout, outdoor, exercise, cross, training, climbing, fitness and other sports. The best oven mitt is constructed of durable silicone, which is slip resistant, and has a textured honeycomb pattern that helps you hold pans, pots and baking sheets without interfering with your natural grip. Silicone is waterproof, so hot liquids won't soak through and scald your skin as they would with other materials. Soft cotton lining offers additional protection and comfort, and the Padded Lining is simply amazing. Extra Long oven mitt is 12 inches long to provide generous coverage for your arms, and one cotton loop is included in each mitt to make it easy to hang when the mitt is not in use. Resists Stains are made with premium grade silicone that can be washed quickly and easily, unlike fabric oven mitts that have to be laundered.
👤The tip of one of the gloves became pinched and ripped away while it was being used for hot cast iron. I will not be able to wash these gloves. Only used for 3 months.
👤They ripped and melted when they took the baking sheet out of the oven. The product was very disappointing. Don't purchase these and get a refund for them, they can't even get a good one. It lasted 3 weeks.
👤We went on a trip with my wife and we stayed in a cabin that had oven mitts. We decided to cook a frozen pizza in the oven. I fell in love with these mittens. They are very soft on the inside. Not like regular oven mitts where they are kind soft, but rough. The outside is very slip resistant. I have never felt anything when using these on 450 degree ovens. They are great!
👤We love these oven mitts. I've always been leery of putting hot items on, as I've been burned in the past, but I think the square silicone pads were meant to be used for pulling from the oven. I can be a boss in the kitchen with the oven. The gloves are very resistant to heat and have a great grip on them. I can't recommend them enough, and they are an absurd scam.
👤The first time I used these gloves, they proved to be inappropriate for my needs and I wanted these back. I need something that will allow me to carry extremely hot pans and cast iron skillets from the oven to the counter without burning my hands when I grill. The first order did not work out, but these are perfect. They are good for grilling. Very happy.
👤These are better than any cloth oven mitt I've ever owned. I've never bought anything from Walmart and they were straight garbage. The main appeal of these is that they don't conduct heat well, so you don't burn yourself, and they have insane grip, so you don't drop burning stuff on yourself. It does both of those very well. I've never tested it, but I don't feel any heat on my body. I have never dropped anything while holding these. When my soup is too hot in the microwave, I put these on to carry the bowl. The grip is insane. They're almost like cups with how well they grab onto something. The problem arises when you have to put it down. I have to move my arm in a way so as not to flip the tray when I set an oven tray down. You have to drag the tray with you to slide your hand out. I have to set it on the stove so I can use the space on the burners to move my hand out from under it. I have small hands and these are one size. If you're wondering if you have small hands, you don't. Those of us with small hands know it. I can't fit my fingers all the way to the end and my thumb can't reach all the way. The extra flab doesn't make maneuvering any easier. These mitts are made to fit a man like Paul Bunyan, who is a bit larger than me, so they're a bit too good. I recommend them to people who have the right fit, because I can't dock more than 1 star for this.
Two ambidextrous gloves fit most hand sizes, so you can share them with a friend or use them both at the same time. The gloves are the same so there is no need to identify a right or left hand. The BBQ gloves are made of three materials and have three layers of protection for your hands. The first layer is non-toxic silicone, which can prevent slippage and make it safe to grip, the second layer is ultra-high strength aramid fiber, which has high heat resistance, cut resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and the third layer is provided inside Sufficient softness. Their gloves can provide high-temperature super protection up to 1472F (800C). When you cook, bake, and grab the pot, you don't have to worry about being burned or burns. The texture of the fire-resistant gloves provides anti-skid protection to ensure that your objects will not slip out of your hands. There is no difference between the left and right hands. Extra-long wrist guards will make your hands, wrists and forearms safer. oven gloves can protect your forearms and wrists from the heat of the oven or grill. There is enough air circulation so that your hands don't sweat in high temperature conditions, and they are lined with soft cotton. BBQ gloves are easy to clean and are perfect for grilling, cooking, grilling, frying, smoking, welding, campfires, fireplaces and more. The grilling gloves have a waterproof coating that is easy to clean. You can wash the gloves with soap and hang them to dry. It is machine washed. The oven gloves cuffs are made with ropes so they can be hung on the hook when not in use, making it easier to store.
👤I bought these to use while grilling. They do help with hot things. I have to do it quickly or the heat will come through the gloves. My grill was not close to the 1,400 F rating of these gloves. It's a bit difficult to put on these gloves. It will be even harder if you wear an Apple Watch. The multiple layers of gloves don't seem to be sewn together, so finding the finger holes can be difficult. If you need these gloves to remove hot things from a grill or oven, they do the job. These aren't ideal if you need continuous heat protection.
👤I would recommend these gloves to any Pitmaster looking for a pair of high heat gloves. The value is great. They have gauntlets that protect my forearms when I reach into my cooker. I believe they can be thrown in the washing machine. The gloves are thick, but not too thick to be a hinderance. I can easily change the temperature probes. Silicone ridges on the fingers and palm of the gloves ensure a positive grip even on mildly greasy surfaces. I am able to pick up red hot burning coals and smoldering wood without burning myself or damaging the gloves because they are heat resistant. It's very handy for rearranging hot coals. The steam will burn you if you use the gloves wet or damp. You need a different pair of gloves for hot liquids. I can hold burning hot coals for a few seconds without being burned, but they are not heat proof or hot liquid proof, so please be aware.
👤The gloves arrived today. The heavy-gauge bag they were packaged in was the first thing I noticed when I took them out of the box. That was the first indication of the quality of the product. The gloves were heavy when I took them out of the bag. They are very heavy and well constructed. I had some chicken in the air fryer and decided to try them out as soon as the fryer started. I cannot touch the chicken without burning my fingers, so I use a potholder and extreme caution to move the chicken to a plate. I was able to hold the air fryer pot and remove the chicken from it with no heat to my hand. I told my husband about the gloves and he was impressed with the workmanship and the heat resistance. I have to bake something tomorrow so I don't have to use kitchen towels to remove the pan from the oven. Buy these! Really?
👤Not very strong. It's used to add logs to a stove. Adding new cold logs to a hot firebox works well with them. I did some pushing a hot log further back into the firebox, but the gloves seemed to tolerate it at first. I don't know when the black layer came off the thumb, but one day it was missing. I burned my thumb after they worked for a week. They should last more than a couple of months. I have to face facts.

👤We needed a new oven mitt and found these. The pair makes handling things coming out of the oven easy, and adds a bonus with the trivets to place pots, pans, or oven-baked dishes. The little gloves work well.
👤The oven mitts are very warm. They are long enough to protect my arms when handling things inside the oven, and the extra padding means that I have been comfortable taking pans in and out of a very hot oven. I am not happy with the smaller pieces. When my wok gets really hot, the small pot grabbers are too thin. The larger squares are not good for transfers in a hot oven because they let the heat through too much.
👤The oven mitt set is thick and you don't feel anything through it. I don't like Silicone oven pads that you get from the dollar store, they can burn your hands. It would be hard to get burned with these, they are thick and long. The set has two mitts, two pads, and two cups. A good purchase.
👤The gloves are resistant to heat. I have used them many times and am happy with them. If food gets on them, it's easy to wipe them off. The mini gloves are great to use with the InstantPot. A very good value! The gloves are too big but they work well and it doesn't bother me.
👤The fresh vibrant color that these added to my kitchen made me happy. I have large hands and the large mitts are perfect for roasting, which was a conversation piece for the holidays and gatherings.
👤These are great! The length prevents burns when removing items from the oven. The colors are bright. The crab claw pieces are what the air fryer needs. Very pleased with the purchase.
👤I have never used pot holders. They work and don't melt. I like the gloves. The potholders can be used for a short time. I would buy again.
👤These are God's instructions for cooking and baking. I wish they came in different sizes, that's the only negative thing that I can say. I have small hands and they are too big for me.
