Best Baking Half Sheet Stainless Steel

👤Since I have moved, I no longer have easy access to my baking sheets from the restaurant supply store. The Amazon pans are better than the ones I am replacing. These pans are workhorses. Baking cookies, roasting, jelly roll sponge cakes, flash freezing foods in a single layer and more, can't live without them. Commercial pans will warp. The way it warps is important to heating. They can warp with a slight deviation in the middle. If the water settles in the middle, it will bubble up, and if it settles out, it will be warped. If I lay the Amazon pan on a surface, it will not lie flat and two of the corners will not make contact, which is not desirable for even heating.

👤There are two pieces of information that I don't see in the product information that may be useful for those shopping for quarter sheet baking pans. First, they build. I don't have unlimited space, so this is important to me. The pans are inside a Ninja SP 101 - Air. A toastser oven, a fryer, etc. That moves up. The pans are sturdy and have edges on all four sides, which will be useful for a variety of baking and cooking needs. I don't think they will fail the test of frequent use, but I think they will hold up. I'm not happy about the fact that they've stamped Amazon Commercial on them, and we all know anything raised or depressed on a product will require more attention to keep clean. I took away a star for this because I bought these to replace baking sheets from the USA Pan bakeware that were discolored and looked dirty and wouldn't come back to their original color. Kitchen Aid is an example of a company that avoids this and it's one of the reasons I like their products.

👤The pans are smaller than the cookie sheet. The pictures seem to exaggerate the size. The size is adequate for most purposes and fits the Ninja Sp101 perfectly. The area is roughly the size of a printer paper. These sheets are strong. I feel like these were made to last. Storage is easy because they are small. I have no regrets about buying this kitchen item at this price point, even though I'm rarely satisfied with the quality.

👤I bought these trays for food preparation around my grill. They are very sturdy and stiff, which is perfect for me. The trays are built in such a way that there is no way to completely dry them, so I took one star off my rating. The water in the tray is still in the lip when it is on the shelf. I used the quarter sheet pans more than I thought I would, including roasting nuts, making small batches of vegetables, cooling brownies in the freezer, serving tray, and mise en place tray. They don't get as much exercise as my regular half sheet pans do, but they still look great. Would definitely recommend.

👤These pans are really nice. I will be able to use the smaller pans for something if they were bigger. The pan is large. They are a little lighter than my old ones and so far have cleaned up nicely. I like the racks that are included. I think the price is right and would buy again if I needed to. I would buy the large one.

The pan with the largest area is about 4x4” It doesn't affect the baking at all, it looks like it's dirty. If I could have it replaced, I would.

👤These pans are gorgeous. I like the mirror finish. I only used them once to cook something. I will update this post as I use more of these. I prefer to hand wash my sheet pans, but I usually just put them on a drying rack. Next time I wash them, I will put a towel on them to dry them off. This doesn't affect the ability to cook, but it is noticeable. The cooling racks are standard, nothing more to say. I am happy with these at the moment.

👤A nice heavy gauge steel. You should pay attention to the size specifications. To see if these will do what you want. I bought the set because I needed a cooling rack for cooking. I'm not sure what you could use the smaller sizes for in the kitchen, the smallest rack seems useless but the smallest pan makes a very good rolling tray.

These have exceptional quality, have not been warped, tarnished or lost their original finish, have held up to a lot of use and abuse, and are not always cleaned after cooking. Happy with these!

They have always cleaned up quickly for me with a soapy brush at the sink, and I have never experienced rust issues. They have done a great job for my needs. 👤I use a heavy duty cooling rack in my smoker to keep bacon out of the grate. The cross supports are strong. The unit is higher quality and costs more. I was docked for not controlling quality. The one I received had some messed up welds. I expected it to be straight. I tried to bend the wires back, but they are welded solid.

We make a lot of baked chicken, chicken wings, and pork chops, so we were looking for something to keep them out of the grease as they cook. I put this product with a Nordic Ware aluminum Baker's sheet and it was what we were looking for. The wings are very thin on 888-739-5110 It's difficult to clean. One of the best things about the product is the small grid, so I don't know how that could be fixed. It's worth the extra time to make sure you've gotten everything off.

👤The manufacturer puts out a nice product. After 6 months of steady home use baking, there has been no warpage. The Bar Keeper's Friend blue is used to clean them. First clean all loose food off, then just sprinkle on Bar Keeper's Friend to form a paste, then rub the thick paste over the metal to produce a clean shine.

My theory is that the pan is sprayed with a non stick coating and left exposed to the elements of use. I think I got my money"s worth, for $21 bucks. A good solid sheet pan is not so non-stick anymore.

👤Kitchenatics was the only brand I found that claimed high heat resistance, and it was the only brand that damaged the first baking sheet. The product page states that the roaster pans won't warp from repeated oven use. It warped at only 400 F for 15 minutes the first time I used it.

This is a review of the Baking Sheets, not a health seminar, so I will simply say that I am eliminating anything that could be contributing to having heavy metals in my system. I am not saying these baking sheets are the cause of my issues, but I will show you why I will no longer be using them. I use these BS twice a day for about two months. When I washed them prior to using them, I noticed that the soap looked gray, because I washed off some of the aluminum. In a rush to use the BS, I noticed some sort of metallic debris on the paper towel, after wiping off excess water with a paper towel. This has been happening after each wash. I was able to fit so much on the tray that I overlooked it. I discovered recently that my body is showing signs of too much heavy metals and I am taking actions to limit them. It took about 3 paper towels to clean up the mess. I've been cooking with these BS since April of this year. I've thrown them away.

👤I ordered Nordicware pans and USA pans at the same time, and used them both for the first time, so there's no difference in age. I baked gingerbread cookies, which were cracked on the Nordicwear pans, and needed a spatula to remove them, but the USA Pan cookies came off without a spatula needed. 👤You can roast vegetables under a broiler or at 450 degree F, and cooked-on oil doesn't affect the pan's stickiness. This is all aluminum with steel around the edges so it doesn't warp. The metal is really smooth and these are not sticky. These are a good choice if you're afraid of chemicals in your food. To make it easier to remove food from the pan, use a fat.
