Best Baking Ingredients Storage Containers with Scoop

👤I bake a lot. Each weekend there are several different things. I bought a set of containers to organize my ingredients. The containers are nice, but not designed for regular use. The container for flour is designed for one bag of flour. It's inconvenient to re stock every couple of weeks.

👤It was hard for me to think of the sizes and what might fit so in case it was helpful for anyone else. The 19.9 cup is the same height as the 12 cup and 7.8 cup are stacked on top of each other.

👤I got a 16 cup size a year ago to store flour and it holds a 5 pound bag. I like the way the lid is used. Make sure to wipe the flour off the rim of the container and lid to ensure a good seal. I haven't seen any pests around the seal, so it appears to be doing its job. There is a bug that lives in flour and the first clue is holes in the top of the container. A friend of mine had bugs that came home from the store in a flour bag and it made me cringe, so I got this container. I found a bag of rice in my pantry and now I have Asian moths. It was like the moths were in my pantry overnight. I saw the tiny webs and holes in the bag of rice I got from the grocery store, and I noticed small holes in my cotton clothes, I believe the damage was caused by the moths. If you have the money, get the set and build on it as you please, or at least get these containers for your flour and rice and build from there, like I am doing. Check your bags of flour and rice and get them into heavy plastic containers with a quality seal as soon as possible. If there are bugs in the food, you can report them to your grocery store and they will be contained. I keep anything that could be contaminated in the freezer.

👤There is no well-defined distinction between the product lines. The Brilliance "food storage" and "pantry" items have some differences, for example the shape of the container is not tapered enough to allow for stacking, and the Brilliance "food storage" and "pantry" items are not stackable. I'm giving this just a few stars because it misses this capability. The pantry items will stack within the food storage items. Food storage containers come in three sizes. I bought this container because it's better suited for storing larger food items like pasta and meatballs. I love the Brilliance line because of its clean design, no food stains, no residual smells, and tight seal.

👤These are very strong. I buy flour and sugar in 25 lbs bags. I don't use as much brown sugar and powdered sugar as I used to. I'm still looking for a container that can hold 10 pounds of flour and sugar. I decided that the shape of the containers would work better in my pantry because I have been using round containers for the past 5 years. The 16 cup size holds a 5 pound bag of flour or sugar.

👤The lid doesn't even close. Cheap plastic! I have to keep my puppy food in another room and add other things to keep him out of my house. She knows how easy it is to get to it, so she had to buy a gate. The purchase was the worst. Unless you want to have easy access, these are not for you.

👤The picture shows a bin full of dog food, but it won't work for this purpose because the lid is just a flap and won't snap or shut in any way. Unless the bins are in a closet where the dog can't get to it, any dog can flip this open and feed from the bin. Rats could easily get into a closet. If you want to use this for recycling, but don't want to hold dog food, then don't buy it.

👤The bin lid doesn't snap shut, which would make it much harder to store food. The quality of the bins is decent, but should not be used for any type of storage. I am using mine for storage of dry rice and noodles that we use for making pet food, and it is working well so far. Several people have inquired about how much they have. A bag of rice can fit into one bin. They are much smaller than the photos show.

👤The description and picture clearly show that the boxes are transparent. The black ones have a transparent lid. I didn't care about the color at all. You get what you pay for. These things are cheap. The quality is mediocre. I wasn't expecting the quality of Rubbermaid at a Family Dollar price. Third... The hinged lid is easy to open. That suggests that the lid is open. It doesn't. It is on top of the box. It doesn't secure itself in any way. Forth... The lid was warped and bent when it arrived. The weight from the others kept the bottom box in place. They work all the time. If you're looking for something that's strong, look elsewhere. If you are looking for something that will last a long time, look elsewhere. If you need them to be transparent, look elsewhere or gamble here.

👤If you are looking for a reasonably priced stacking bin, this product is for you. I recommend storing the stapler less than 40 pounds per bin. 18 lbs. When stacking 40 or more pounds, the containers start to collapse. If you are looking for a locking lid, this product is not for you. There are two ways to open the bins, one of which has a slanted lid for easy reach in to scoop or grab the product, the other has a large lid that opens for an easy refill. The bottom bin is on the floor. I recommend raising the bottom bin to a level that doesn't hurt your back when bending down to use the bins on a platform. I hope this information helped you.

👤I use the same size bin to hold both rice and dog food, and it's the same size as I expected. The most loose-fitting lids you'll find in a plastic bin product are the ones that are not air-tight. The lid will fall off if you tip them sideways. These are supposed to be weighed down. I'm not sure what to do with the top one. It's easy to put strain on the lower containers when stacking. I only stacked two containers, and my half-full container of rice is causing the lid of the lower container to cave in. They could have designed it better. I am giving it three stars because it's hard to find bins in this size that open up from the front, and I will continue using the product. It's a flawed product. This would be great for lighter items. Some people use it for sorting. This would be perfect for that.

👤I'm working on organizing my kitchen cabinets. I picked these bins based on reviews. The bins are of good quality and the lids look good. I love the markers that come with them. They look great from my picture. One of my orders was missing a bin. I contacted the company through Amazon and received a very quick response from the co- founder. Wow! Customer service is great.

👤I found pantry moths a couple months ago. I was horrified to read how to get rid of them. They like grains and were told to keep them in air tight containers. I read a lot of reviews before making a decision. Chef's Path seems to be a small company with dedication to making great products and providing excellent customer service. The reviews of the products were good. I washed all the pieces by hand. I needed pantry moths gone and wasn't willing to risk it. I am sure the dishwasher would work. I put water in the container, put the lid on, and turned the container over to see if it leaked. There was no drop out of the container. I was very happy. My pantry is clean and organized, and my baking goods are safely stored. There are no sugar bags or flours. I would love to get more for pasta and crackers. I have 2 sets of the containers that I love. Highly recommend both products.

👤I couldn't let this one go by. I initially ordered the set of 2 extra large bins. I ordered 2 more identical sets because I was so impressed by the quality of these bins. There are so many things to say about them, but I will limit it to the top four. #1 They are easy to open and close and air and water tight. I tested them. There are two things. The measuring cups that come with each set are better than anything I've gotten from Kitchen Aid or Tupperware. They are great for keeping in the bins. #3 They are so cheap that I was able to reorganize my pantry. They are a steal compared to the garbage on the market. There are four They are made in America by a family owned company. The company cares about their customers more than they do their quality products. I had an issue with a bin from a different set. I received a new bin, an additional larger bin, and a set of spoons as a thank you. I could go on and on. If you purchase anything from Chef's Path, you'll never be sorry.

👤These containers are great for a 5 pound bag of flour and sugar. I was a bit worried that the big ones wouldn't fit as much flour and sugar as my old ones, but they fit more than I thought, and a whole package of flour or sugar would fit in these. I like how they stack and organize everything. The chalk pen on the labels is an extra nice touch. I would recommend these and buy them again.

👤The scoops are large and sturdy. They are easy to wash and dry. I think they will last a long time. The nature of scoops makes it difficult to scoop as much as I would like, and the way the handle is attached to the scoop makes that difficult. You need to scoop from the bottom up. I made a hasty decision when I wanted something to scoop off the top of the bag. It seems that unless you wanted a lot of ice or a large container for your product, these scoops are too small to be of much use. I've tried them for dog food and in a flour bin. The 1 cup dry measure cup worked better in both cases.

👤I wanted a scoop for my ice maker that wouldn't get cold. It worked well. I like the look of steel, but it wouldn't be practical. I got 3 scoops for the price. I would have preferred graduated sizes as they are too big for my canisters. There's always cat food and bird seed.

I would love to have more of the "flour" and "sugar" ones.

👤Do not purchase them for food storage. The canisters are not airtight. I purchased this set along with several individual pieces for my different organic flours, sugars, baking soda, baking powder, chocolate chips and other baking ingredients in July of 2017, I am an avid baker and cook and purchased this set along with several individual pieces for my different organic flours, sugars I have never heard of pantry moths before, but I was horrified to discover that a bag of rice I bought from WalMart was contaminated with them, which has had a devastating effect on my pantry. I was horrified to find that the moths and their cocoons were inside of every canister I threw away. It's not like one seal failed; every one of them was upheld. The containers were thrown away with the contents. I don't think it's smart to waste money on containers and food by relying on their claims. I will test their claims this time, because I'm looking for airtight storage containers. This lesson was very expensive and I won't repeat it.

👤After washing the brown sugar prokeeper and letting the clay disc soak in water as directions stated, I tried to install it back into the lid where it goes for storage and one of the little prongs that holds it in. A representative of the company was supposed to call me back. The receptionist told me that the storage wasn't necessary because I could put the clay disc in the brown sugar. That may be fine, but why is it on there and I don't expect it to break before I get to put the brown sugar in it! They were not willing to compensate me in anyway, which I felt was unfair, and my only other option was return, which of course is a hassle for me, it didn't seem like Progressive International cared in the least! Their customer service is not good.

👤These are not bad. They are overpriced for what they are, and the photos are not accurate about the sizes. The largest one for flour is only wide enough to fit a 1C measuring cup inside. See the photo for the scale. They do what they say they will, but they are too expensive. I would really like to have more in my pantry, but it isn't worth the extra money.

👤I've been looking for kitchen canisters for a while and this is the first set that I've found that is sleek and modern. The canister was designed to hold what it was intended to hold. I have not had any issues with this container, it holds the average supermarket bag of flour and has a leveling bar. The brown sugar container has a terra cotta disc that is supposed to help keep the sugar soft, but it was hard to use the first time I used it, but the container is still great. The way the lid is made it hard to close the spout lid and make the top dirty. The container has a leveling bar and a spoon for dusting cakes. I haven't found a use for the 2 small containers yet, but they both have the same strength as the larger ones and they have a leveler insert.

👤I love this product because of its high quality material. I decided to purchase this set after looking for pieces for a long time. I am glad I did. I love them! I bought the large size. They don't all stack to be the same size, that's the only thing I would change. See the first photo. I love everything about them.

👤I have collected many of the home goods that I used to hunt for. I like the black lids more than the white ones. I couldn't recommend them enough. The lids never broke or messed up. When you get yours here, you don't have to worry about the price tag being off because I ruined one. It should have been a regular nail polish remover. The uniform storage makes life so easy. If you put the lids in the dishwasher, use a solution of water and a drop of dawn detergent to wipe them. If necessary, adjust the bands gently.

👤I bought this set of 5 pieces after reading mixed reviews, but still, I was skeptical. Within the first 15-20 days, 2 out of 5 jars developed cracks at the bottom. I wasted my money on these guys, but please don't waste your money and go for better jars and brands.

👤These canisters were cute and affordable and I liked the sizes they came in. I was excited to see all my stuff on my kitchen counter. Imagine my disappointment when I receive one of the canisters. We didn't slam it down or anything like that because it was only half filled with gummy bears. We saw the cracks all along the bottom, as shown in the pictures. I found that the sugar from the gummy bears had acted like acid when I tried to clean the canister, and there were dark marks on the sides and bottom. The marks were different from the original material. These marks were left by gummy bears that took off the coating of the canister. I was very disappointed with this product. I was hoping for better, but it seems that it's just cheap material that doesn't last. I will update this review if I hear back from the company that I may have just received a faulty set. I would like to say I had a good experience.

👤I think I got this set in the used section. A lot of quick returns. The weight, price, and appearance of these are nice. I didn't like the idea of glass canisters filled with flour and such since I am above eye level. Too heavy. I would probably have something broken by the end of the year. The final touch to my pantry renovation.

I give the item five stars if the product works as intended, doesn't have any defects or flaws, and is priced fairly. I use these for a variety of things. They sit out on the counter most of the time. They are in excellent working condition. I don't know if the seal is tight, but we have not had any problems with ants getting into the sugar. This isn't going to prevent brown sugar from getting hard, but it will delay the process more than keeping it in an open bag. It would be nice if the scoops were labeled as to how big they are, but that's my only complaint so far.

👤The smaller ones cracked down the side from top to bottom. They were not used in any way. I don't think anyone should buy any of these. Chocolate will stain the thin, After a few weeks of using them, they turn opaque and no amount of washing will clear them to their original clarity.

👤The 5 pack set was purchased by me. The canisters look great. I was going to store my coffee grounds in this item. We use different brands and strengths at our house. The smallest size is 22oz. I assumed the bag of coffee grounds would have enough room. Quite the opposite. I was able to add the bag to the container, but I was not able to open it and add it to the cup. It comes with 2 of them. This size fit a bag of coffee grounds. My coffee grounds are held in the 51 oz and the 65 oz. The listing of the oz on here are exactly what I anticipated, but it works for me in the end with a little bit of an adjustment. I am happy. I would buy 3 of the 26oz and one of the 51oz if I had seen a review before.

👤The jars are supposed to be air tight, but they don't stay on. The inner plastic fits around the bottom of the lid. It doesn't stay on. I have to check the lid every day to make sure it's on. I bought these jars many years ago. The plastic seal feature on the under side of the lid works today. I've been unable to find anything similar. The idea is the same, but the new feature does not work.

👤I like the look of these on my counter. I expected the jars to hold a full bag of sugar or flour, but they only hold 85% of the bag, so I have to take the rest of the bag with me to the pantry. I have a small kitchen. If you fill these jars to the top, the flour or sugar spills over the top, making a mess on the counter. The jar needs to be large enough to hold a bag and large enough to hold a cup. If you have nice handwriting, the labels are nice, but they don't hold up to washing the jar. I had a chip in one of the covers, so watch your fingers. The maker could improve the product by making it larger than a 4lb bag, since the jars look nice on the counter.

👤Thank you, I was skeptical about buying these jars. I love them because they are well made and very durable. It's perfect for my pantry collection. There is a I noticed that the jars don't close properly after placing food inside them. The air comes in because the lids come up and not because of the air tight seal. Don't know why it's doing this or the rubber seal is wrong.

👤I would give this zero stars. I noticed the first cracks after I purchased these six months ago. I let it slide because it only happened to one container. All of them have cracks six months later. The bottom is cheap and can't hold up against the seal. The cracks make them airtight when there are no cracks. It is not. The lever can be moved up top to release the seal. I wouldn't buy these again.

I took advantage of the extra 10% off and ordered the 4 piece set of containers, and added the food storage set as well. The containers made my bakers rack neat and organized. I had to use the pasta container in order to fit a 4lb bag of sugar, they are a bit smaller than I anticipated. The package included a coupon for 10% off on a second set, which was fine with me. I ordered right away. I can't wait to see my set displayed. If you are discouraged by the size, then purchase smaller packages of sugar and flour in the future, because I promise you won't be disappointed. The chalk pen and bonus reuse label are awesome. My handwriting is not like the photo. It doesn't look bad. Again, I love them!

👤To organize and hold dry pet food and treats. There is a shelf on the fridge door that holds pet medication. It is easy to clean. The main container is dishwasher safe. Plastic is better quality than the Chef's Path cereals containers. Positive: Kids can easily open the lid, and it's cat proof. Susan holds them perfect. It's nice to see what's in the cabinets at one glance. After liking the first set, they sold out of them. I bought their competitor's brand to compare it to "Dwellza Kitchen", which has not arrived yet. There is an update. The Dwellaza Kitchen products arrived. Chef's Path has no water trapping, and has an opening under the lid that traps water when handwashed, making it easier to lock and clean. Chef's Path is the only purchase I have made. The family agrees that Chef's Path is the best. It was worth it. Chef's Path is the best of all the brands purchased.

👤I haven't had these long so I can't attest to their quality, but on first glance they seem to be great. The plastic is thick and the seals are air tight. The food items will be protected. They look nice and are able to fit in less space.

👤I've been looking for air tight containers since we found out we have pantry moths. I decided to give this product a try after reading other reviews. I was worried about it being plastic, because I don't trust those thin and flimsy containers, but this is a very thick and sturdy plastic and the lid takes a bit of force to snap on, so you know it's not going anywhere. I will be buying more of this product.

It is not clear if the plastic is clear or white. I am just being picky and they are fine. The quality is great and they work for what I need.

The containers are of a higher quality than others and the price is more affordable. I like the fact that the lid handles are made of plastic and that they are easy to stack on top of each other. The locking mechanism works well and is not difficult to open. The pen, chalkboard, and measuring spoon set are great additions to the set. Everything you might need for organization has been provided. The sizes of the containers are perfect for my needs. I like the fact that the company contacts you by email after purchase to make sure you're happy, and I feel like these are going to hold up well over time and serve as great staple pieces in my pantry. I would definitely buy this again, and am already thinking about ordering more to make my pantry even more organized.

👤I would give this a zero rating. They had more good reviews than bad. I should have listened to the reviewers that were bad. I was excited to use these after cleaning my pantry. These are all small containers. There is a photo of Pasta in ContatIner. I don't know how to get the lid on without breaking the pasta. I'm out $45 because they can't be returned. They smell and are hard to close. I think that's the reason they have a no return policy. My husband told me to make sure that I return it before I buy it. You can get some from the dollar store for less.

We looked at several containers online and thought they were the best value. We were a little worried about what we would get but we could return them if we didn't like them. What a pleasant surprise! The containers are perfect in size and thickness. We love them. This company's customer service is off the charts. They pride themselves on their customer service. We received a message from the Co-Founder assuring us that everything was good and that we loved our containers. He promptly answered our questions when we replied back. I thought we didn't get what we ordered because my wife ran off with containers. The Co-Founder went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. There is a place on the home page of the company to send messages. They welcome your comments and their contact info is right there, no digging through pages or searching for it. Many companies could learn from their customer service. I highly recommend their products.
