Best Baking Jars for Oven

👤No one got hurt with these jars. I used these 4oz jars for Egg bites and creme brulle, I am a chef. Within 2 days, I lost 10 jars. I can tell you that the Jars are not good. The rim of the jar snapped off when I torched the sugar for creme brulle. I stopped with the torch after losing 5. I know I wasn't touching the rim. I made egg bites on the second day and three of them exploded in my bathtub. The Rim of the Jar came off when I opened the lid after resting them. Are you serious? The Mason Jars are cheap and junk. I don't recommend this at all. The description does not say good for canning. Very upset with the Jars. I will not buy this brand again.

👤Do you want to spend the loot? Buy the jars and then buy the wax melts from places like Yankee when they are on sale. I got some wax melts and put them in jars. Each room has warmers at a fraction of the cost. I would like to thank you for coming to my talk.

👤I thought I would try to purchase these jars because of the price. I usually use a brand name like Ball or Kerr. I will go with a name brand in the future because they are good for my needs. The price point of these would make them a good gift. I didn't like the lids. They don't have the traditional dimples to verify the sealed jars. I didn't trust tomato jam to be sealed, so I removed each jar to make sure.

I needed it for a canning project so I didn't return immediately. It has been almost a month since I got anywhere with the company. Lots of back and forth and no partial refunds or replacements for the missing lids and rims. When I used their lids for a canning project, they did not seal because they lifted and cracked while processing in the canning pot. See the pictures! I don't recommend anyone buy this product because the company is not being honest and difficult to work with. The tiny jars and lids were only efficient for dried good storage or maybe bath product, but again what I received was incomplete as per description and the picture. These are not for fighting.

👤I consider this smallest size the most versatile. That's why I needed more. The Ball brand jars were the original ones I bought at a local store and they stacked nicely in my storage cabinet because the jar bottoms were slightly smaller than the mouth opening and I could easily stack three jars vertically without risk of falling. This is not the case with this brand. The package includes a nice quantity of one-piece lids in addition to the traditional two-piece lids, which is a plus. I will never buy this brand again. The original Ball brand jars don't fit well on this brand's lids. It's really sad...

👤I was hesitant about buying this unit because of the 1-star reviews. After using this unit for a few weeks, I have to assume that there was a large number of faulty products sent out, or that some people have unrealistic expectations of a toaster oven/air fryer. I've always had a kitchen accessory that I've had to learn about, and that's the toaster ovens. This one is less than I've owned before. It cooks quickly. Very fast. This one cooks in less time than expected and you need to watch it carefully because it is much less cook than you thought. As we learn how it performs, that should change. It's best to fade back a bit from the recommended times and temperatures in their manual and recipe book. This thing is powerful. Chicken wing drumettes is my favorite dish. I cook my buffalo wings in peanut oil deep-fryer, then dip them in sauce and dry them in the oven. They look like I pulled them out of my fryer when I cook them for 10 minutes on air-fry. My wife says they are even better. Traitor! Garlic toast and English muffins seem to be more moist than any other oven. I've used before. There are frozen french fries and shrimp. She did some fresh zucchini wedges that were going to be boring, but they turned out to be awesome. We love it so far and are looking forward to experimenting with it for a long time. Over the years, we've had a lot of luck with Cuisinart appliances, and in the few times we had problems with them, their customer service people have always treated us fairly. If it blew up tomorrow, I would buy it again.

👤We have been using this since February of last year. We love this unit. It's a staple in our kitchen. This airfryer uses convection, so I wanted to make a note of it. The temp may be dropped on your packages instructions. This is not a suggestion. We usually drop the temp from 50 to 25 degrees. If your fish sticks, cook it at 425 and then put it in at 375. The review needs to be original. Just buy it. The reviews that complain about burning food are not following the instructions. If necessary, remove the lower tray from the rack. The temp settings are appropriate. To dial in, you may need to experiment with something. We cook chicken nuggets for the kids at 400 and then airfry them in 6 minutes. That leads to the next thing. If you put the first line on "10", you are actually doing 15 minutes, and probably why you burned your food. We have used this product almost nightly since we got it, it is one of the best kitchen products I own.

👤This unit has the largest surface area of any I've found, larger than any of the other units I've looked at. It makes some delicious food. The trays are more durable than the air fryers I used, because the coating on the pan was coming off after only 3 uses. I gave it 3 stars because I debated whether to give it 2 or 3. There are some serious drawbacks. Quality control is the first thing. Only 2 of the 4 upper heating elements worked on the first unit. The outer 2 are enabled on some settings, such as broil, so that appears to be at least somewhat normal. The timer was set to 10 minutes, and you get 14. You get 24 if you set it to 20. It was like that consistently. I returned it on these grounds. The timer on the replacement is 6 minutes long, but it only takes 15 minutes to get you 21. This is consistent. The label on the timer clearly had a large gap between 10 minutes and 0, and this seems to be a design defect for the entire unit. People complain about the unit being too hot. It is possible that the timer's inaccuracy would cause people to think that. The replacement unit doesn't sit quite still on the counter. The service from Cuisinart. They couldn't tell me the difference between bake, broil, and air fry. They promised to have a new timer at my door in 7 days. When I call, they only say that the warehouse is processing. It could take weeks for "processing", and it could take up to 7 days after that. They lied to me, saying the warehouse didn't have a phone and that the number on the Internet was theirs. If you're wondering about the different settings, here's what they do: bake both bottom elements and outer two upper elements, broil, and air fry, all 4 upper elements only. Three of them have a fan on high. The bake and broil have the fan on low, but are otherwise the same. Don't buy this for the warranty. It's so slow that it's indistinguishable from not existing. Buy it and a timer.

👤I have a group of 10 people that I'm making individual Pot Pies for and these are the perfect size for just a top crust. They are sturdy and nice to look at. They will be used for dessert, such as creme brulee and scalloped potatoes. You can use them on the counter because they look nice. The shopping experience was the best case scenario. I found the blue 8 oz ramekins on Amazon. I was sold on the looks. I was looking for a crock that would be beautiful to serve to the guests of a catered meal, and would stand up to high heat. The Dowan is 8 ounces. I was looking for a dish that was easy to clean and the ramekins were just what I was looking for. I was a prime member and my order came quickly.

👤I love these dishes. My son and I have been experimenting with new recipes and one of them is creme brulee. I decided to purchase a set of ramekins after our moderately successful first attempt. When I received my first set, I was so impressed with it that I ordered a second set. Our next attempt at creme brulee was a resounding success, using 8 ramekins total, which perfectly fit in my pan, and each portion set perfectly. I ordered the third set of ramekins so I could have 18 for a proper dinner party once the social distance is over. I am looking at other products from Dowan and I am sure I will get lots of use out of these. Really impressed. It's nice to see a company put forth that extra effort to make sure they are packaged well.

👤I adore my Dowan Ramekins. I looked for the perfect set and found it. They are very good for my everyday needs and the color is great. When we have dinner guest, these are fancy enough to use. Highly recommend these to anyone who needs 8oz (4inch) ramekins. 2 huge thumbs up.

👤The ramikins are small. I thought they came with lids, so I could stack them, but I didn't. I can't find lids that fit. Everything else is too big. I need to make cardboard inserts to fit between the cakes in the fridge so they don't take up too much space, because plastic covers won't allow you to stack them. They're pretty, seem sturdy, and the right size for individual cheesecakes. It's a shame that they don't have a link to where you can find them. I might return them because I think I will be back to using my small corning ware clear jars. I was going to use canning jars for cheesecakes, but then I read that the average canning jar is not designed for oven heat, so I began looking for something else.

👤I use my regular sized oven more than my toaster oven, because I'm one person. I bought the pans at Big Lots and they are perfect for my Black & Decker toaster oven. I love french fries, chicken patties, onion rings, and all the other bad things that come in the tray. I have had no issues with it. The round pan is used in the same way as a normal baking pan. The two square pans are used the most. The inside corners are starting to chip after a couple of months of use. Sometimes cleaning is done with a dishwasher. I have come to expect more from a name like Wilton and finding pans for a toaster oven is harder than I thought it would be. I was happy to find the right pans from a trusted company, but now I wonder if I should have bought a cheaper set.

👤It would have been easy to gift wrap this set because it was wrapped individually in the box. I had recently upgraded my oven and chose this set of bakeware. I have known the quality of bakeware from Wilton for a long time. My mom preferred the brand of bakeware. She made great birthday cakes. It was a no-brainer for me when I saw this set. I needed more pans that would fit both of the racks because I upgraded my oven to 9x13. I wanted to let everyone know how great this set is, whether you want a portion size or a full size, they will be a go to. The blue diamond pans are very well made, clean up is easy, the variety of pans give many recipe options. Depending on the cooking taste of the day, at least 1 or 2 of those pans are used almost daily. Unless you need to prepare a large meal most of the time, I think this set works for everyone. I think it would make a lovely gift for a wedding, a housewarming gift, or even a downsizing household, the possibilities are endless. They are a set that I will use for a long time and they are blue diamond pretty. I am terrible at photos. If you are in the market for a set of this size, I don't think you will be disappointed, Amazon has their return policy if they are not your cup of tea. I always read Amazon reviewers for anything I might buy, they are a huge help. Happy shopping.

👤Microwaving moderate or larger portions of food can be dangerous. If you want to remove food from the microwave, it's not an ideal hot pad. It met all expectations.

👤I don't see the value of this pad. I don't like that the pad slides all over the place, it would be more effective if it gripped the turntable and stayed in one place. I like that it keeps the glass noise down when placing dishes in the microwave, but I don't think it's good for it. I don't think it's any easier to clean than the glass turntable, because it's so flexible, it's a little bit harder to clean, and it doesn't fit in the dishwasher very well. I don't see any need for it, it's well made and durable.

👤There are multiple uses for this little mat. I have used it as a trivet, a cover for a bowl in the microwave, a place to rest a cooking spoon, a drying mat, and a gripper to open a jar. It's easy to clean, and looks good sitting on the counter. I ordered the gray, but it is more like a brown gray, which works well with my decor. One side has a honeycomb design while the other is smooth. If you're on the fence about ordering, just get it.

👤The baking set is the worst I have ever purchased. The bakery goods are ruined because they tear in chunks, with much or most of the products still stuck to the pan. You can't serve rotten pans or give ruined bakery goods as gifts if you consider the purchase price and the loss of expensive ingredients. I used the bread loaf pan for the first time. I had to soak it for several hours and then change out the fresh soaking water because of the layers of gunk that had stuck and torn when I tried to get it out of the pan. The color of the pans looked stained when baking product had touched them. The pans were ruined the first time they were used, but I did not leave them damp or to air out.

👤These are substandard products according to others. After using 350 for making English muffins, both of mine have become useless. The last batches stuck badly, and the silicone appears to have been transferred to the high-end baking pans. Attached are photos. 👤The baking mats are great. The quality is excellent and the price is good. I use them for everything in the oven. You name it, it's from oven pizzas. I love that they help protect my baking sheets by helping food slide off the non stick surface. It is also very convenient to just wipe them clean or put them in the top shelf of the dishwasher. You can cut off 1/3 of the paper towel roll to use as a holder, and just roll up the mats and slip inside the ring for easy storage of the mats in a drawer. I highly recommend them. We use these mats almost daily and I have had them for almost a year. They look brand new. I have not had any issues with mats becoming worn or staining. I use them to cook most items at up to 450 degrees but have not had any issues with them so far. I drape them over my cups in the top rack of the dishwasher and then when dry roll them up and slip a napkin ring or rings cut from and empty paper towel roll into a drawer so they fit easily into a drawer. These things are fantastic and have paid for themselves many times over in the superior non stick surface, ease of clean up and the cost of parchment paper and or aluminum foil I used prior to discovering them.

👤I spoke with an Amazon customer service representative and was told that they would escalate the issue to have it addressed and possibly amend the product review. I am surprised that they didn't offer a refund on the product, but I think the most important thing is to see if they address the fire and safety issue at its root. There is an update on 11/11/18. One reviewer stated that these are not good for use above 400 degrees F. The mat was smoking when I opened the oven after putting it in the oven. This was the mat itself, no oils or anything applied to it. I changed my review to one star and will be requesting a refund from Amazon. This is a danger. I've been trying to reduce my carbon footprint so I was looking for an eco-friendly alternative to aluminum foil to line my baking sheets. The mats were the ticket. They fit perfectly on my baking trays. These are even better than aluminum foil because I don't have to use oil to make them non-stick! I can cook even better. I will recommend this to my friends.

👤Don't get them. They are easy to break. Two pans broke in the same spot. Two days after the policy was implemented, my second pan broke, which is upsetting because I wasted money on pans that can't handle standard use. I washed them to make sure they were well cared for. Don't waste your money like I did. I used it twice and it broke. When I went to pick it up, it was broken, because I put it in the sink to be washed.

👤When I opened the box, I thought they were pretty. The large one was a bit smaller than the average pan, but I loved the 3 sizes. All 3 sizes would have been perfect for my needs. As I took out the pans, I thought I loved them. When I got to the largest pan, I put it on the counter and it was loud and wobbly. Where was the quality control? I would like to believe that the next set would be fine if I swapped them. I won't take that change so they go back. I have a hard time finding new ones because of the large pans. 👤The jars are supposed to be air tight, but they don't stay on. The inner plastic fits around the bottom of the lid. It doesn't stay on. I have to check the lid every day to make sure it's on. I bought these jars many years ago. The plastic seal feature on the under side of the lid works today. I've been unable to find anything similar. The idea is the same, but the new feature does not work.

👤I like the look of these on my counter. I expected the jars to hold a full bag of sugar or flour, but they only hold 85% of the bag, so I have to take the rest of the bag with me to the pantry. I have a small kitchen. If you fill these jars to the top, the flour or sugar spills over the top, making a mess on the counter. The jar needs to be large enough to hold a bag and large enough to hold a cup. If you have nice handwriting, the labels are nice, but they don't hold up to washing the jar. I had a chip in one of the covers, so watch your fingers. The maker could improve the product by making it larger than a 4lb bag, since the jars look nice on the counter.

👤Thank you, I was skeptical about buying these jars. I love them because they are well made and very durable. It's perfect for my pantry collection. There is a I noticed that the jars don't close properly after placing food inside them. The air comes in because the lids come up and not because of the air tight seal. Don't know why it's doing this or the rubber seal is wrong.

I read the directions, but they are easy to follow. Even without reading them, you could figure it out. 3rd. It cooks with no smell. I had a problem with other air fryer. It smelled bad when cooking. No off smell with this. 4th. This unit is bigger. I can make enough for my family. It's footprint is larger but it can be lifted up to store in a vertical position. Then locks it in place. There is a Also, there is an interior light. Kids love looking at goods. The ninja keeps everything warm after cooking. After every use, it is wise to wipe the glass and everything down. You can hear the fan as the unit cools down. The cord keeper is on the back. So...hello tidy! The front opens to clean it. I took pictures of the entire unit. The most amazing pizza I have ever made! The crust was very good. My kids and I agreed that it was the best.

👤We are impressed with our first air fryer. It cooks the food fast and without oil or grease. The food should be better. In 40 minutes, we cooked 7 drumsticks. - It is easy to use and can cook almost anything. It can toast bread in a pinch, looks good and can be stowed away, without taking too much space on the counter, but cleaning is necessary after every use. grease was all over the inside of the chicken drumsticks and sausage/vegetable assortment that we cooked, especially on the top side and on the top heating elements. I used Clorox degreasing wipes and went through about 5 before the inside was clean. The bottom heating elements cannot be cleaned. There is no easy way to get to the metal covers. The first time we made chicken, we didn't install the bottom grease catch pan. Definitely use that. The booklet they provide has the cook times slightly off. The inside of drumsticks need at least 10 more minutes to be cooked if they are to be served at 400F. The bottom of the chicken will not cook properly if you flip it halfway through. Your results may vary because we used a different type of chicken. The anti stick pan will warp at 400F after being taken out of the fryer. It goes back to its normal dimensions after it's taken out of the fryer. The food is delicious, it is very fast, and it is healthy.

👤I jumped on the new Ninja product when I had the chance to try it. This unit is very versatile and doesn't let down. You get the main unit, crumb tray to line the bottom, wire rack for toast, bagels and holding the sheet pan or other accessories from the box. Air fry, Air roast, Air broil, bake, Dehydrate, Keep warm, Toast and Bagel are some of the functions it has. You can see how things are going with the internal light. Powerful 1800w of power means fast cooking, and more cooking space than most fryers. A full healthy meal in one pan takes 25 minutes. Back counter space is given back when the flips are up and out of the way. The housing is sleek and black. There is a limit of height where other smaller units can accommodate larger items because of the rack system.

👤These were a huge hit. They were beautiful even though they were unable to download pictures. No broken or bent lids were found in the package. I put cheesecake in them to make it easier to stack them. I placed my second order.

👤I used these for a baby shower and many of the guests took them home. They came out great, top rack, after we threw them in the dishwasher. I will use them for craft projects. Some of the tarts were frozen as well. The lids worked well.

👤I used these for my birthday. People are more likely to take desserts home when they are in small containers, because I am not much of a sweet eater. These exceeded my expectations. My bday desserts left so fast and everyone commented on how they made it so easy to eat the dessert in one sitting without it being too much. You won't regret your purchase.

👤Many of the lids were crushed. Someone is wrapping the lids in a death grip. It's not sure if it's the fault of Amazon or Eusoar. The crushed lids weren't tight enough on the cups. The cups look similar to the picture. The aluminum cups will become damaged if too much force is applied to them. I haven't counted the cups. Mini cheesecakes made in the Williams Sonoma Goldtouch pan fit perfectly in the cups. I like the cups. It works for my need. I have stored the cups in the freezer, stacked them and then thaw the cheesecake, no freezer burn, no crushed lids. The cups can be re-used if they are washed well. The cups are made of aluminum and could be cut. I like the cups. They are presenting a professional presentation. The vendor needs to wrap the lids.
