Best Baking Kit with Case

👤I wanted to bake a cake for my mom's birthday despite my broken hand. I ordered this because of the large amount of decorating tips. The cake isn't perfect but it came out well, being down my good hand. I like the fact that all my friends had one of the two pieces. The thread is together. I am very happy with the purchase and all of the accessories.

👤I was recently promoted to manager of the bakery. I didn't know the first thing about working in the bakery. I have no idea how to decorate a cake. I decided to decorate my own things while I was in training. I stumbled upon this set while searching for a lot of product and ordered it immediately. I received it the next day and was pleasantly surprised. You can tell some of the things are cheap, but for less than $20, it was a steal. If you're just getting into cake decorating, I definitely recommend it. If you're going to start your own cake making business, I wouldn't recommend it as they're flimsy and will show some wear and tear after a few uses. I'm very pleased with the product.

👤Did I stutter? It's pink! It comes in blue, but it was out of stock. Baking is a hobby for me, but it's cheap. I wanted to make things look purty. It has a lot of stuff. It's more than adequate for a beginner like me. It has an instructional booklet with suggested recipes. Most of it is written by a person who is proficient in English. I haven't used it yet. I thought I could go wrong for the price. It's pink!

I made some practice ones that didn't come out as good, but after practicing on styrofoam, I am really starting to get the hang of it. The cakes I made with this kit were included in the pictures I included. It comes with a fold out that tells you what the tips will look like. The spinner is my favorite. It's easier to frost the cake and decorate it if you really think about it. The bags that this kit comes with are completely clean. I have to let them soak in the soapy water because of the grease left over from the frosting. I let them soak after turning them inside out. The kit is easy to use and clean and is great for beginners. They looked like an actual cake at times, even though they used the tools on styrofoam.

I received my package on Saturday and was excited to open it and see all the stuff that came with it. I was very happy with the things I received. I used the cake turnable because I had to make a birthday cake for one of my grandsons. It made icing a cake much easier. I make cakes for my kids' birthdays and this is going to be used a lot. The Spatulas are very nice and very good quality. I would recommend this product to anyone that makes cakes.

I was quoted $50 on a basic paw patrol cake and thought I could do that myself. This set is perfect for what I needed. The product is easy to use, but I ran into a problem learning how to use the icing, but that was just part of the learning process. I had everything I needed in this set to make two cakes, and the brush it comes with was very convenient for cleaning the tips. The cake was not perfect because it was 95 outside and my frosting got too warm. I learned how to make a better cake. I love cake decorating and this set is perfect for it.

👤This product is great for beginners with many different tips in a box. I decided to return it because I compared the quality of the two products. The shapes of tips were off. It is large and ugly. It isn't what it shows on their picture. You can see the stitches on the tips. The shapes on some of the tips are changed due to stitches.

👤This is a great set for a beginner pastry chef. The set comes with a nice storage case. You include an insert of what each tip makes and the tips are numbered to make it easier for you. They give you 14 pastry bags, two of which are disposable and three of which are silicone, so you can have multiple bags ready to go. The set has an offset spatula for icing and a brush to clean up. This is a great gift. I couldn't find anything I disliked about this set. I am going to give more to my friends.

👤This is not a quality set but for the price, it is an extreme value. Everything was included and my tips were not bent. This set was very easy to use and I had never owned a piping bag before. There are many single piping tips that cost more than this set. I used the largest tip and one of the disposable bags to make deviled eggs. I'm going to try my hand at some cupcake decorating with a lot of different tips. A great set of tools for beginners is an AMZING value.

👤I know I should have had lower expectations for something at this price, but I thought the tips should be easy to get wrong. Some of the tips weren't the right shape, but they were the right shape. The re-useable piping bag and the box that comes in are good. I don't think I'll be using most of the piping tips in the future. The other items in this pack will be used instead of the piping tips I bought.

👤Half of the tips are not straight. I got this set for one star tip and it was fine. The bags are not damaged. I haven't used the ones that are reuseable yet. The tips are hard to get back right and the coupler doesn't work with other brands. It was not perfect, but it worked well. The spatula is not too big. The box does not shut all the way. It's funny. If you want good quality, I would look into getting a tip like that. The big metal seams on these are not nice. They don't show those in the pictures.

👤If you are not familiar with what the commonly used #16 star tip looks like, you will be called "S.O.L" and they are also made of thin flimsy metal that will be prone to becoming deformed easily. The included case is too small for the small tips to stand upright, so you can't see the cut ends of the tips you want. I had to cram multiple nested sets of tips into each section of the tackle box in order to fit them all inside of the case for storage, which will make it hard to go hunting. You get a large selection of tips in this set, but they are not worth the hassle of dealing with the nested storage situation. You can get a set of the Wilton tips, which are numbered and made of sturdy metal, and the storage boxes are designed specifically to store decorating tips, with each tip stored upright, individually, and held securely in it's own place. The disposable bags are very slippery, and it's hard to have a good grip on them.

👤These tips are not up to par. The steel is very thin. Many of them are not in good shape. Edges are sharp. When handling a flower pin, be careful. I used a file to round the edges. The seam on each tip was welded together. It could've been better with less tips.

It's sturdy for what you need. It's not like a decorating tip which looks like one solid piece. You can bend the metal if you put a lot of pressure. Each tip has an ID number listed in the user manual to show you the effect. Couplers are close together. It will stay put during use. Silicon decorating bags are very thin. They clean and dry up. They are just like your disposable bags. I don't have any complaints. There is a loop to hang the bag. The plastic box is easy to open and close. The product has a 12 month warranty. If you register your product, they will add 6 months. It's a great value for beginners. Baker is a beginner decorating. It's a fun way to try new things without breaking the bank.

👤I love these things. I've never been into baking before. I figured I'd learned how to make his cakes, cupcakes, and other treats for his first and future birthdays when I had a son. Baking them for him will save me a lot of money. I knew when the tools were going to arrive that I would bake the cupcakes and make the frosting while waiting, and the tools arrived on time. This is the first time I have ever made chocolate frosting from scratch. I think it turned out great. It's a great deal and worth the upgrade to the grass tip. Can't wait to use that! It was easy!

She's tiny, so stirring with the big spoons and using the heavy rolling pins isn't easy. The baking set is adorable. 👤My 4 year old is learning how to cook. I went to find a set that was safe for kids after reading a children's cookbook. It was afraid in the container. Each piece is individually packaged. The colors are vibrant without being neon. It had a chef's hat and apron. Measuring cups and spoons, chopping board, knives, and kid friendly knives. A spatula, ladle, timer, whisk, cookie cutter. I'm still teaching him about kitchen safety and how to clean up, even though I haven't tried them yet.

It was more cost effective to purchase this as a set and everything matches as well, even though I had looked at buying items individually. I searched and thought about buying a few things to make my own kit. I realized this was the way to go after I priced it out. I bought icing tools and a cake leveler after buying this and they all fit in the kit case. The bottom section of the dividers can be used to fit your needs. If you don't want to buy a lot of additional items, this works well. Some of the items included are not the higher quality ones that Wilton makes, but they are great and easy to use. I can honestly say that I can't wait to make more cakes after making my first one, which I never thought I'd say. When we go to dinner parties. I will be bringing more cakes that I have made because I have an amazing set that anyone can use to make nice looking cakes.

👤The purchase price of this box included purple cake strips. This item costs $20 They can't sell the cheap ones to anyone else. This is the only way they will pay for them. The old silver variety with pins are useless and worthless.

The non slip feet on the turntable and the spring pans that aren't in the other kits are nice. The presentation is done well. Its in a nice box and separated into its own bags. A great gift. 👤Wow! I was surprised when I bought this kit last minute for my first attempt at a tier wedding cake. The items inside the packaging were in good shape despite being a little beat up. The kit allowed me to create a masterpiece despite the fact that the cake leveler did not work as I needed it to, but it did allow me to create a masterpiece. It's a good investment for a beginner.

👤I don't know how they fit all the stuff into this box, but once you open it, there's no way to put them back in the box for storage. Before you open, have a plan. The products are mediocre in quality, like you bought them from the dollar store. It is still an ok value for all the things you get, especially if you will use every single item in there. If you don't want to use all the items in there, then it's better to just buy them individually and get better color coordinated tools. This would be a great gift for your niece who is 13 to 17 years old. There are a lot of things that are better quality and cheaper at Ross/Marshall's or Fred Meyer. I just started to notice the cake tools at the stores after I bought this box.

I had to pump the handle many times, and the dust sprayed onto the cake intermittently. It didn't work the way it should. The bottle that holds the powder popped off. It's horrible and time consuming. It wasn't worth it for me.
