👤I'm pretty sure this doesn't make it un-useable, but the video shows it in a long tube. The mat was larger than the box it was in. The mat has a permanent crease down the middle, as well as some rippling, because it was folded in fourths. I rolled it up after removing it from the box and hoping the creases would come out. It was rolled for a couple of weeks after purchase and I have never used it. The photos show that it is still creased and rippled. The package says it should not be stored in a flat fashion. Why did it fold up in fourths?

👤I don't like having to deal with the mess of flour when making dough. I was excited when I read that even the stickiest dough would be easy to remove. I wanted that to be true but it wasn't. The first time I used the mat, I had to remove the pastry crust because it stuck so badly. The only way to get the cookie dough to come off was to put a lot of flour on the mat. The mat doesn't slip and it washes up great, that's the only positive thing I can say. I'm going back to using a pastry cloth if I have to use flour to roll out dough.

👤I bought this to bake pies at home. It's perfect. It's a good thing to recommend to anyone. It's a huge mat that makes rolling dough so easy. The product is non-slip. Get yourself one now!

👤The plastic pie mat broke recently. This was purchased as a replacement. It's easier to use and it doesn't stick to it. I've already made pizza crusts, bread, and 2 apple pies using this mat. I like the size of the guides. It's not like my old mat. I'm still figuring out the most efficient way to clean it, and I think wiping it off with some soapy water and then rinsing it with a sponge or cloth is the easiest way to do it. The other way is to put it in the sink and roll it with a towel. It has a band to hold it closed if you lose it, and it rolls up for storage. I put some flour on it when I roll a stickier dough, but have no problems sticking it. I love it!

👤Heavy weight with markings in inches. I keep mine rolled with a liner and a band. I can prevent slippage by wiping my table with a damp cloth before I roll the mat. I only use this for rolling dough, not as a baking sheet liner. It is a nice large surface for working dough. The surface can be cleaned with a pastry scrapper. It is dishwasher safe, but I don't know how it would work in a dishwasher. I put mine in a sink of hot soapy water, drape it over a strainer, and then wipe it off with a towel.

👤The reviews and videos of the food processor were great when I was researching, but when I used it as I wanted, it did not retain any splash, I am not sure if I got that. My other two units that I used for years did not have a seal and did not have the leak spilling problem.

👤My food processor was too small for some of my recipes. The reviews seemed to agree with the bill. It was a major disappointment. When it is used full it will overflow through the middle area. The on/off switch won't turn after 1 year. My 30 year old Black and Decker had to be pulled out of the middle of a recipe.

👤The plastic pieces broke after several years when I tried to replace a Cuisinart. I thought I would save money, and after reading the reviews on Hamilton Beach, I thought it was worth a try. I was wrong. This is the worst food processor I have ever used. Yes, it has two speeds, Fast and Super Human, but they don't work when you are trying to grade cheese. Everything will be butchered and not the way I wanted it, because it came with only one blade. I replaced a good quality product with a piece of garbage in order to make my wife mad. Don't purchase this item if you love your wife. Even though Amazon usually has a 60 day return policy, the return button is missing, so it's even worse.

👤Our previous processor was less than 3 cup. This one is very similar to the Dark Ages. It has done everything well so far. It was used to make the dough of 2 pumpkin pies. Do not Over Process - keep your finger on the pulse button, that's what I have learned. The pies turned out perfect with the correct amount of processing time. The pulse and selection are too fast. The caveat in processing time would have been better if the availability of a slower speed for making dough was available. There is a slight problem with the slicer. It slices fairly well, but it slices in different ways towards the last part of the item. It's not that great for presentation purposes. I thought I'd point that out. A good value for a good processor. Will report back if there are any problems. So far, so good.

👤Even though it says it is a 10 cup bowl, you can't fill it over the level of the blades without it leaking. The lid has no seal so any liquid that reaches it will come out. I called Hamilton Beach and they said that even though this isn't specified on the box or advertizing, it is in the booklet that comes with it. The bowl scraper that I thought would be a useful feature only comes to the top of the blades, so if you can only fill it to there, it is useless. They wouldn't do an exchange or a refund, and recommended I buy another product. That won't be happening.

👤The large surface area of the pans made it possible to fit a lot of potatoes at one time. I am having health issues that lead me to look at things I have overlooked. This is a review of the Baking Sheets, not a health seminar, so I will simply say that I am eliminating anything that could be contributing to having heavy metals in my system. I am not saying these baking sheets are the cause of my issues, but I will show you why I will no longer be using them. I use these BS twice a day for about two months. When I washed them prior to using them, I noticed that the soap looked gray, because I washed off some of the aluminum. In a rush to use the BS, I noticed some sort of metallic debris on the paper towel, after wiping off excess water with a paper towel. This has been happening after each wash. I was able to fit so much on the tray that I overlooked it. I discovered recently that my body is showing signs of too much heavy metals and I am taking actions to limit them. It took about 3 paper towels to clean up the mess. I've been cooking with these BS since April of this year. I've thrown them away.

👤I ordered Nordicware pans and USA pans at the same time, and used them both for the first time, so there's no difference in age. I baked gingerbread cookies, which were cracked on the Nordicwear pans, and needed a spatula to remove them, but the USA Pan cookies came off without a spatula needed. I can't speak to the wear of either or anything other than these cookies, so take this review as you will.

👤You can roast vegetables under a broiler or at 450 degree F, and cooked-on oil doesn't affect the pan's stickiness. This is all aluminum with steel around the edges so it doesn't warp. The pan is very heavy. My mom gave me an aluminum sheet pan when I moved out on my own. I have been abusing this thing for a decade. My mom had it before me. I have a small family of my own and my husband likes roasted veggies, but I like to make my own food at night. I'm looking for a sturdy one to go with my old beat up one. They would twist or warp over 400 degrees. It didn't seem like the price made a difference. I had cheap and expensive ones. At 400, they went funny. I assumed all pans did that, but I found this one. Actually, two. I now have three pans. I use the old one and the new one for veggies, and the third for baking cookies, so it will stay cleaner and stick free. The metal is really smooth and these are not sticky. These are a good choice if you're afraid of chemicals in your food. To make it easier to remove food from the pan, use a fat.

👤I try to avoid the use of perfume in my makeup and skin care products, but this vitamin c serum fit right into my routine, because I have a combination of sensitive and prone to acne-prone skin. The product is light in texture and comes out of a dropper. I apply this every morning as my first step and layer the rest of my skincare on top - there's no pilling or layers on top. I don't wear makeup often, so I can't say if it does the same under makeup. The glass bottle is a plus for me. I like the glowy look of this product and will definitely be using it again.

👤The scale does not weight anything under 3 grams, but it does in the description. Once you are over 3 grams, it will weigh in one gram. If you hit tare on the dish, it will weight items under 3 grams. I put a bowl on it and hit the tare to make it 0, then I went from there. Give it a few seconds to register the weight of the item because it is very sensitive to movement.

👤I like the scale. cheap plastic ones are good I wanted to get something more accurate for sourdough making. It has a tare feature. Simply put, whatever container you are measuring into, place it on the scale first. "tare" is out of the scale. You are measuring your items, not the bowl. You don't have to do the math to figure out the true weight of your contents with this method. The scale reads '0' after the Tare button is touched in the picture. It can be set to grams or ounces. I don't want to have to guess grams or ounces when I see a European recipe online. I don't have to. The scale can be used to measure from 0.1oz to 22 lbs. Not bad! This scale is perfect for the home chef.

The company's customer service is excellent. I would recommend you to try this scale. A soft touch of the ON/OFF button makes it turn on or off. The scale has a sleek design and is very light. The numbers are easy to see at night and day. I like the fact that most parts are made of wood, something I try to avoid as much as possible. I received my new scale a few days ago. It had two new GP batteries. The numbers kept changing when I used it. I got different results with every object I weighed. The results were off by a lot when I compared them with another scale. I thought my scale was malfunctioning. I replaced the GP batteries with Energizer batteries. Problem solved. Reliable batteries can save your day.

👤This is a scale that I love. It is replacing a unit that is very similar. The thing has a few small differences that add up to a nicer user experience. I like the back-lit display. If I had a large pot or bottle on the scale, the shadow caused by larger vessels would sometimes make the readout hard to see. My old unit used a big watch style battery, this one uses ubiquitousAAA batteries. It's much more convenient to replace when needed. My old scale only went up to 11 lbs, but this thing doubles that. If I'm making a large amount of something, I don't have to measure out half of it in one vessel and the other half in another. If I want, I can mix everything in one vessel.

We bought this based on the reviews, but were disappointed and returned it. The customer service is excellent. They reached out to me after they noticed my review. They sent a free replacement as well as refunding the entire cost. The replacement works better than the old one. The first one must have been bad. I am very happy with the new Thermometer.

I changed the batteries, but they are still malfunctioning. I only used it 10 times. I bought a Webber Thermometer 5 years ago and it still works. I would give it 5 stars if it was reliable. The company immediately contacted me after I wrote the review and told me that the product had a lifetime warranty. The replacement showed up a few days later and I was very happy. 👤I have used the Kizen instant read thermometer for a few months and have mixed results. It is easy to use the thermometer. It's easy to clean. The magnetic backing makes it easy to stick places and not have to reach to find it. The Kizen instant read thermometer is not at all "instant" or even fast, which is a problem for me. I wanted a very fast temperature. I was able to get quick readings while holding the door open. I like to cook with heat and smoke so I picked the Kizen because it claims to read in less than 2 seconds. The Thermometer climbs slowly for a short time before giving a reading. Watching it climb and then probing different areas in the meat, or different pieces of meat, really is a killer. If I have to probe 5 times and it takes 7 seconds per probe, I have the smoker door open for more than half a minute. I had hoped that the door would open for a third of the time I had bought it, but if it took just a few seconds, I would have the door open for a third of the time. I'll continue to use open pan grilling but I'm going to be looking for something else.

👤We were very pleased with the Kizen meat thermometer. It was perfect for cooking a 16-pound prime rib on Christmas. Customer service has been excellent. I received a follow up email with suggestions for most effective use and another reminding me that the product is under warranty should we have any issues. 👤These are substandard products according to others. After using 350 for making English muffins, both of mine have become useless. The last batches stuck badly, and the silicone appears to have been transferred to the high-end baking pans. Attached are photos. These mats were only used for a short time before they deteriorated and ruined a baking project.

👤The baking mats are great. The quality is excellent and the price is good. I use them for everything in the oven. You name it, it's from oven pizzas. I love that they help protect my baking sheets by helping food slide off the non stick surface. It is also very convenient to just wipe them clean or put them in the top shelf of the dishwasher. You can cut off 1/3 of the paper towel roll to use as a holder, and just roll up the mats and slip inside the ring for easy storage of the mats in a drawer. I highly recommend them. We use these mats almost daily and I have had them for almost a year. They look brand new. I have not had any issues with mats becoming worn or staining. I use them to cook most items at up to 450 degrees but have not had any issues with them so far. I drape them over my cups in the top rack of the dishwasher and then when dry roll them up and slip a napkin ring or rings cut from and empty paper towel roll into a drawer so they fit easily into a drawer. These things are fantastic and have paid for themselves many times over in the superior non stick surface, ease of clean up and the cost of parchment paper and or aluminum foil I used prior to discovering them.

👤I spoke with an Amazon customer service representative and was told that they would escalate the issue to have it addressed and possibly amend the product review. I am surprised that they didn't offer a refund on the product, but I think the most important thing is to see if they address the fire and safety issue at its root. There is an update on 11/11/18. One reviewer stated that these are not good for use above 400 degrees F. The mat was smoking when I opened the oven after putting it in the oven. This was the mat itself, no oils or anything applied to it. I changed my review to one star and will be requesting a refund from Amazon. This is a danger. I've been trying to reduce my carbon footprint so I was looking for an eco-friendly alternative to aluminum foil to line my baking sheets. The mats were the ticket. They fit perfectly on my baking trays. These are even better than aluminum foil because I don't have to use oil to make them non-stick! I can cook even better. I will recommend this to my friends.

I am amazed by this. The things that I was cooking slid off the pans without any force. This is the first time it has happened to me. Oh and the cleaning, just wipe. The tray has a secret coating. It's truly non-intimidating. It is made in Italy. When you order, you get two pieces. Both the same size. Half a tray. I am careful when I spend money. I usually don't spend a lot of money on something if I don't think it's worth it. I was glad I took a chance on this. I will say that it is a very good buy if it lasts for a long time. I was unsure if I would buy the pan. I am also going to buy that. It is well worth it in my opinion.

👤When it comes to kitchen items, you really do get what you pay for. We have been updating our kitchen and we areUpgrading pots, pans, utensils, etc. There is a connection between price and quality. It's not something that would be said without saying, but it is when it comes to every item sold in this world. It's true for kitchen items. The same holds true for the baking sheets. I was skeptical at first. The cost seems high to me, a discount shopper. Is they worth the price? They are worth the price. We had temperatures all the way around. That provided perfectly baked items, no matter where they sat on the sheet. They did a better job than our cheapo pans did. Less burning. Less preparation. Less angry! Our old baking sheets are not as clean as night and day. These wipes are wiped down without much effort. There's no cursing coming from the kitchen because nothing gets stuck. Happy family! Before ordering, please take note of the sizes. We are appreciative of the sheets we got, but we would prefer a bigger size. I'm adding another set of five stars. I wish we had upgraded a long time ago. I think of all the baking sheets I've thrown away. I probably have spent more in replacing my baking sheets than I would have if I had just bought quality ones.
