👤The baking set comes with so many items that you wouldn't need much else to start. It has over 238 baking items to include a few are, baking pans, mixing bowls, cupcake pans of different sizes, cake spatulas, cutters, scrapers, icing items with bags and an assortment of tips. The entire set is great to replace current items for beginners or as a gift. I was surprised that the items in this set can be used to bake anything you can think of. I used a few of the items to make a double layer cake. This is a great set to have or gift.

👤My girlfriend's family knows her as the baker, but she doesn't have much baking supplies. I bought this for her and she loves it, but the pans and bowls seem very cheap, and the utensils seem very cheap. If you don't have much to start with, it's a nice set.

👤I have learned my lesson. Don't buy things from Amazon. You think you are getting a brand name for a deal, but when you get it it is in terrible shape. The coating on the mini muffin tin was chipping off after it came bent. I don't think it's a good idea to use it with the potential of more chipping off into baked goods. I don't mean to give a bad rating, but I want to warn people not to use Amazon. The number of times I am shipped shoddy products is not worth the convenience.

👤It's perfect for mini cupcakes. I made Elmo minis for my daughter. Teflon coated products contain a fluorocarbon called C8 or PFOA and are highly toxic, so use foil liners to minimize exposure.

👤Rusts are very easy to spot. I threw it away because of the rust. It is difficult to clean. It's frustrating when you have to clean out each individual cup and it's still dirty. The "non-stick" surface is chipping off after about 5 uses. This is not something that you would want to have. It is not very good. It doesn't hold up to a lot of use. If you get this item, you should get disposable mini cupcake liners. I baked cupcakes with cupcake mix and mini quiche cups.

I changed the batteries, but they are still malfunctioning. I only used it 10 times. I bought a Webber Thermometer 5 years ago and it still works. I would give it 5 stars if it was reliable. The company immediately contacted me after I wrote the review and told me that the product had a lifetime warranty. The replacement showed up a few days later and I was very happy. Great customer service.

👤I have used the Kizen instant read thermometer for a few months and have mixed results. It is easy to use the thermometer. It's easy to clean. The magnetic backing makes it easy to stick places and not have to reach to find it. The Kizen instant read thermometer is not at all "instant" or even fast, which is a problem for me. I wanted a very fast temperature. I was able to get quick readings while holding the door open. I like to cook with heat and smoke so I picked the Kizen because it claims to read in less than 2 seconds. The Thermometer climbs slowly for a short time before giving a reading. Watching it climb and then probing different areas in the meat, or different pieces of meat, really is a killer. If I have to probe 5 times and it takes 7 seconds per probe, I have the smoker door open for more than half a minute. I had hoped that the door would open for a third of the time I had bought it, but if it took just a few seconds, I would have the door open for a third of the time. I'll continue to use open pan grilling but I'm going to be looking for something else.

👤I have only had this product for a month and it already has condensation over the temperature. The money was wasted. It is not the same as it says in the picture, and it is not the same temperature inside my house.

If you're serious about measuring coffee beans for a French press pot of coffee, you should use the "gram" scale because it's very accurate. When the last one broke, I bought this one because it was not nearly accurate enough to be useful. I don't know how long it will last, although it seems to be well made, and the bowl is metal, and the parts seem to be durable, so hopefully it will last a while. The gram scale is the most accurate measure, and it will measure fractions of a gram. It's easy to use, it's durable, and I got a pair ofAAA batteries that still had some life. 5 stars for function, but no idea about battery life, but if the scale works for a year or two, I'll feel like I've gotten my money's worth. It is recommended. There is no affiliation with Etek. The scale was well packaged and arrived promptly.

👤This thing is not worth much. The thing turns on when you put it in the cabinet, then it turns off when you put it in the counter. Then you turn it on, zero it out, and it will weigh once before you turn it off. Since I make a deep dish, I always measure out the bottom and top of the pie. When I tried this out, it weighed the first item, and when I removed it from the bowl, I couldn't get the second article in the bowl. If you use a scale for multiple weights, it will be very hard to keep up. I am returning it immediately because I did not keep it past the return date.

The unit measuring system is not as described on Amazon, that's the only negative comment I have. The description says it measures in ounces, lbs, g, and kilo. If you exceed 16oz, the unit selection will change tolb/oz so a 14oz item will read 1lb 2oz. The same holds true for both of them. If you want to measure out 30 ounces of flour, you have to do the math in your head to say it's 14 ounces. The scale it replaces still measures the initial unit selected.

The menu helps us with our math lessons. A+ toy! It is definitely worth the money.

👤Wow. My granddaughter picked it out in a promotional magazine. She loves shopping and expects her grandma to buy her something. I gave it to her as a gift because it was not that expensive. She was happy. The mom left it out in the living room because the little one plays with it. I can't believe she still loves it six months later and plays with it as much as she did when it was new. Everyone gets a cone. Visitors are required to order what they want. She plays with it on her own. We all pay with cash. She tells us how much we owe. She knows when she has been given the correct amount. The gift turned out to be a better purchase than I anticipated.

I got an email to solve the oil amount issue. Only one egg is included in the steps after the first two eggs are listed. The cinnamon mix is called a filling mixture in the instructions. I like meal subscription services and can follow the instructions very easily. You are expecting children to follow these, but they were not clear.

👤These bake kits are wonderful! They are out of stock and unavailable. I have ordered several of them and they are perfect for my 9 year old granddaughter. She is learning to bake. 👤I tested it with a 500g weight. It was well outside of the tolerance. After calibrating it with a 100g weight, it seemed to measure correctly. I noticed a serious additional accuracy problem. When you add small amounts of weight to the scale, it ignores the weight. A piece of paper weighing 0.8g was set onto the scale as a test. It was zero. I think that this is due to some sort of software that increases the accuracy of the scale. I will return the item because it is a design flaw.

👤This is a decent scale. I replaced it with a bigger one. I was worried that it would take up too much counter space in a small kitchen. The weighing capacity is also greater in the larger size. I can put a full-sized dinner plate or empty tea kettle on the scale platform and press "tare" to zero out the weight. It saves me from having to weigh in a larger container. There are some issues that I'm not happy with. The large display is hard to read. The blue background is not a light. I don't understand why manufacturers use displays with black characters on a dark blue background. Just like the text on the Amazon page, it should be black with a white backlight. Sometimes the scale reading does not decrease. The scale's reading doesn't change when objects are added or removed.

The cookies were not good on the inside and the top. I baked 2 standard size chocolate chip cookies for 25 minutes and then lifted them up from the floor of the fell apartment.

👤The scale does not weight anything under 3 grams, but it does in the description. Once you are over 3 grams, it will weigh in one gram. If you hit tare on the dish, it will weight items under 3 grams. I put a bowl on it and hit the tare to make it 0, then I went from there. Give it a few seconds to register the weight of the item because it is very sensitive to movement.

👤I like the scale. cheap plastic ones are good I wanted to get something more accurate for sourdough making. It has a tare feature. Simply put, whatever container you are measuring into, place it on the scale first. "tare" is out of the scale. You are measuring your items, not the bowl. You don't have to do the math to figure out the true weight of your contents with this method. The scale reads '0' after the Tare button is touched in the picture. It can be set to grams or ounces. I don't want to have to guess grams or ounces when I see a European recipe online. I don't have to. The scale can be used to measure from 0.1oz to 22 lbs. Not bad! This scale is perfect for the home chef.

👤Nicewell Customer Support contacted me and arranged to send me a new scale after my previous review of this scale. The batteries seem to work better so far than the brand GP. The company's customer service is excellent. I would recommend you to try this scale. A soft touch of the ON/OFF button makes it turn on or off. The scale has a sleek design and is very light. The numbers are easy to see at night and day. I like the fact that most parts are made of wood, something I try to avoid as much as possible. I received my new scale a few days ago. It had two new GP batteries. The numbers kept changing when I used it. I got different results with every object I weighed. The results were off by a lot when I compared them with another scale. I thought my scale was malfunctioning. I replaced the GP batteries with Energizer batteries. Problem solved. Reliable batteries can save your day.

👤This is a scale that I love. It is replacing a unit that is very similar. The thing has a few small differences that add up to a nicer user experience. I like the back-lit display. If I had a large pot or bottle on the scale, the shadow caused by larger vessels would sometimes make the readout hard to see. My old unit used a big watch style battery, this one uses ubiquitousAAA batteries. It's much more convenient to replace when needed. My old scale only went up to 11 lbs, but this thing doubles that. If I'm making a large amount of something, I don't have to measure out half of it in one vessel and the other half in another. If I want, I can mix everything in one vessel.
