👤I'm not the cook. I know how to use hardware and tools. My girls told me they didn't have good quality baking equipment so I got this cooling rack. I bought this rack based on positive comments about it from a friend. This thing can be used to beat a man to death. It's heavy, solidly built, won't bend or deform from abnormal use, and does it's job with attitude and an over engineered style. I bought one because I didn't know what I was doing. I'm buying three more because you have to have four. I don't mind. It made my girls happy and satisfied my manly definition of a solid tool. I did well.

👤I ordered this cooling rack because it was easy to clean and it was made of STAINLESS STEEL. The supporting framework is made of steel. The wire mesh on top is not real steel. It's hard to wash because of the rough coating on the wire mesh. I used the rack today and it works well, the baked goods seem to get stuck to the wire mesh.

👤It seems like a sturdy rack. It is warped in the center. I put a bottle of soap on the rack. Imagine my shock when the bottle fell onto the floor. It is the strangest thing I have ever seen. It took me a while to understand the problem. The center of the rack is higher than the edges. It is almost like it has been warped. A metal rack warped? Is it possible that Amazon shipping caused this? The rack was thrown in the Amazon box so who really knows, but there are no obvious signs of damage. It doesn't seem like a shipping problem. Storage problem? Maybe. I am leery now. I am not worried that a heavy cast iron skillet will fall off, but what if the dish soap was a bowl of soup? It might be light enough to be a problem. I only bought one rack as a trial. I am unlikely to buy more of these so my research is incomplete. It's the same thing. The owner of the Ultra Cuisine brand sent me a nice note apologizing for the problem along with a replacement rack. Thank you much! The replacement rack is very nice. I would buy another one like this. Rosemary took the time to make this right and my review was bumped to four stars. Excellent customer service is still a thing.

👤We've tried a lot of different racks in the past, even after seeing reviews that suggested they might not be good for baking, only cooling. I was very happy to find this one that can do both. It was suggested by a youtuber that focuses on Sous Vide. He uses it to hold vacuum sealed bags with food in the water bath. This has held up well under water and has been used for baking. This rack is for the price. When you bake something on it, spray some cooking spray on it and it will clean up.

👤I received this set. It was washed and left to dry. It has been about two days without any problems. I went to grab the cupcake pan to bake and noticed it was rusty. Wtf? Did you just purchase this and one wash to rust? Whoever they are receiving their pans from should be reconsidered by Amazon.

👤The baking set is the worst I have ever purchased. The bakery goods are ruined because they tear in chunks, with much or most of the products still stuck to the pan. You can't serve rotten pans or give ruined bakery goods as gifts if you consider the purchase price and the loss of expensive ingredients. I used the bread loaf pan for the first time. I had to soak it for several hours and then change out the fresh soaking water because of the layers of gunk that had stuck and torn when I tried to get it out of the pan. The color of the pans looked stained when baking product had touched them. The pans were ruined the first time they were used, but I did not leave them damp or to air out.

👤I needed decimal points in grams, but it doesn't do it. I read what I was told. The battery that was supposed to be included was not included. The scale is garbage for measuring small. I was adding weight in half grams without the numbersudging on the scale. I got up to 18g. I knew it was 18 because it still read 0. It read -18 when I took it off. Weight must be added at a rapid rate to register any change. This scale is not worth the money.

My package arrived today and it seems to be very good quality scale that was ready to use, instinctively, right out of the box. They have online instructions for the little details. I am very impressed with this company. If you can, check out the picture I posted. Talk about giving back and reducing waste. They are having a contest with temporary tattoos opposite the scale in the same photo, which their site has information on. I think I got more than a scale in the box, which sounds so hokie, I know. When I finish this review, I will go back to their site to see what else is going on.

If you want to improve your life by eating healthy, you need a good food scale. I bought this one because the company seems to have a great product, which looks good, at a great price, and they are a responsible company. I don't like to have a lot of stuff in my kitchen. I keep this scale on the counter or in a drawer. It is very easy to use and it is sleek and slim. I usually use the gram setting the most. It is easy for those that have never used a food scale. If I am making chicken taco, I will put the plate and two tortillas on the scale first. I will zero it out after that. I will know how much I am having when I add my chicken. Then I add cheese, zero it out again and add more. It is easy to use and helps in counting calories. It is amazing if you enter your food intake into an app. The first one I purchased stopped working after receiving it, but they company promptly shipped another. If this one holds up, I will increase my rating to 5. It is a good chance that it was a one-off defect. I would like to thank you for rating and reading my review. 👤The battery lasts a few days before dying. It's terrible. It's not a AA orAAA battery that most of us have lying around the house. If I continued to use it, I would have to order batteries weekly. 👤I absolutely love this mat. I ordered the large size mat the very day I received it, and I was so impressed with it that I wanted to start with it. I have never used a silicone mat before, but I bought the smaller size to try it. I used it to make pasta dough. Anyone that has made pasta by hand knows that it takes a lot of time and effort. The mat worked well. I didn't need to add flour to the pasta. I was able to use this particular size of dough because it fits in a small counter space between my stove and the wall, and I was able to use it without any flour on the floor for the first time. I used to use a 12 x 18 plastic cutting board to knead dough, and I would always add flour and/or oil to keep the dough from sticking to the board. The dough was more elastic than usual when I put the pasta through the machine. I was able to focus on creating a great final product, not on reducing the mess. The directions said to clean it with boiling water. Instead, I put in the sink with hot water and dish soap and let it sit for a while. The mat does not stick to itself when I store it rolled up. The Medium size mat in the pictures is large enough to make ravioli. I immediately ordered the largest size to cover the top of my portable butcher block island, because I was so impressed with how well this mat worked. The mat does not have a lot of clean up. After use, rinse it off in the sink and it will look new. I don't have to clean my old plastic cutting board. I can't wait to use this mat to make cookies and cinnamon rolls. 👤I was excited to receive this mat, due to the positive reviews. I found an insect in the product that I can move around with my finger. There is no way to get the insect out without ruining the mat. I am supposed to use this for food.

👤Update 6/27/19. The dough doesn't seem to stick to the mat anymore despite the previous problems. I was glad I didn't throw it away last time. I have used the mat for 4 times. I had the chance to review this product. I don't know if I got a bad mat or if the others did. The dough sticks to the mat. I thought the problem was the dough. But after my 4th use? The mat is not non-stick. It is a thin, flimsy mat and it doesn't stay on the surface. I am not buying this again.

👤The results were amazing, I purchased this pan to make hamburger buns. They were easy because I'm not a good baker. The recipe was from The King Arthur website. My husband said I bought the buns. The taste of store bought buns is not comparable to what you get in a restaurant. The product was made in the USA. The quality of the pan makes me love it the most. I have several expensive baking pans, but this one is the easiest to clean and always looks brand new. I need another one to make more buns.

👤I use them to make hamburger buns. I love the taste of wheat and I grew up in a wheat farming area. I developed all sorts of allergies as I grew older. My doctors tell me I have to avoid certain foods. It's a shame. I like eating hamburgers and bread. I make my own bread. Products like this make my life enjoyable. The trick is to turn the buns out onto a cookie sheet dusted with corn meal or parchment paper half way through cooking so that they'll brown on the bottom. Good hamburgers need buns. I recommend these over trying to make those stupid rings out of aluminum foil. I will not do that again. If your recipe makes 8 of the larger buns, you'll need to use this pan to make about 9 smaller buns. Hope that makes sense and is useful to other cooks.

👤This is a great pan. The top and bottom of the tarts are about 4 1/2 inches. They are larger than your average mini pan. Most mini tarts are small. The extra inch makes a bigger tarts. You are done after 2 to 3 bites. The pan is large. The tarts are all connected. It's easier to take the tarts out of the oven. If your crust comes out of the tart cavity, it gives you a little bit of an edge. The pan has a good weight. It is not light or flemsy. It is very strong and made of steel. It's easier to get it out of the oven. It is non-stick. It is non-stick. I didn't have to use cooking spray to spray the tarts. I used a flaky pastry crust and they slide out. I have never used a non-stick pan before. You can make different types of tarts at the same time because the pans are individual. Not just one, like the larger pans. Each person has a choice of what type they want. It's useful if you have picky eaters. The Mini Fluted Tart Pan is a great item. The possibilities are endless with this pan.

👤It was said that it was embellished. These pans are great. I tried to make Mini Apple Pies from scratch. I need more practice in getting the juices just right. This was the first time I tried this thing. My Son made me promise not to change anything I did because he thought the "Personal Pies" were perfect. The other Reviewers did not mention that you need to leave the bottom crust about 1/2 inch above the edge of the pan, add the filling, place the top inside the bottom and roll the bottom over the top to seal it. I was judging the juice from scratch. My judgement was off. The juice was already flowing from the pies in the pan before I could figure out the tops. I had to lift the pan to the sink to get these into the oven. I told my husband that it was his fault. He insisted on more sugar, even though I told him it was sweet enough. I told him that more sugar makes more juice. I will make these again when he is not at home. He is retired and working in my business. Oh my. The pies came out of that pan completely intact after about 1 1/2 hours of cooling. The top of the pan was a mess, but it was cleaned up with soap and hot water. Thank you AMAZON for carrying these pans. I got mine from the order date. I made a bunch of King Arthur Flour Beautiful Burger Buns. They were close to jumping out the pans. I barely touched them. Nothing was left in the pan. Not even a crumb. I bought two mini cake pans and they can be used for mini cakes, burger buns, and mini pies. This pan has many uses. I got them from the Mini Pies and Burger Buns. I already made cupcakes with liners when I bought these. I spent 30 minutes trying to remove the edges of the cupcakes from the pan. There are pans by the trash can. Sometimes Silicone Muffin pans do Stink. I use spray oil and or my Pan coating with flour. I bought 2 cupcake muffin pans. The USA Pans seem great so far. These are more expensive than the grocery store variety, and I will update if there are any problems. They are heavy and hold the heat very well. Adding time or temperature may be necessary. I baked the Burger Buns at a lower temperature than the recipe called for. The top and bottom were baked for 18 minutes. The instructions say not to use spray oil like Pam. The instructions state that it is ok to use a PanCoating with Flour.

I don't mean to give a bad rating, but I want to warn people not to use Amazon. The number of times I am shipped shoddy products is not worth the convenience.

👤It's perfect for mini cupcakes. I made Elmo minis for my daughter. Teflon coated products contain a fluorocarbon called C8 or PFOA and are highly toxic, so use foil liners to minimize exposure.

👤Rusts are very easy to spot. I threw it away because of the rust. It is difficult to clean. It's frustrating when you have to clean out each individual cup and it's still dirty. The "non-stick" surface is chipping off after about 5 uses. This is not something that you would want to have. It is not very good. It doesn't hold up to a lot of use. If you get this item, you should get disposable mini cupcake liners. I baked cupcakes with cupcake mix and mini quiche cups.
