Apparently, they have fixed this. The dry weights measures are useless because they don't take into account the difference between flour and salt. It only works for water.

👤I like the chart because I was raised without metric measurements. I can easily distinguish between grams and cups using the metric system. It is a great gift for both young and old. It's still a handy thing, but I wish it were a bit bigger.

I will be able to reference the numbers on my stove when I use my gas grill, because I have never known what the temperature was on my stove. This is a good tool to have in the kitchen.

There is too much space on the refrigerator door. The chart is perfect for our needs. The 5x9 text is organized in categories that are relevant and recognizable. If the need arises, purchase again.

In order from the best to the worst, my preference was 1. Judee's Heavy Cream Powder has a mild sweet taste. Anthony's Heavy Cream Powder has a grassy cow-y taste that I am not a fan of, even if it is more natural. The taste of the farm is less pronounced when you mix powdered milk with it. If I hadn't tried Judee's, I'd probably settle for this one, but since Judee's is better, I dumped it. 3. If you've ever had dessert from a restaurant that was stored too long in a display case so the cream picked up that distinctive smell that your own fridge doesn't have, WillPowder Heavy Cream Powder is for you. I thought after it was mixed and settled, it would go away, but it didn't. The taste is not as good as the texture would suggest. I dumped it. 4. The taste of Hoosier Hill Farm Heavy Cream Powder was unpleasant. Cream is nothing like anything else. I like other Hoosier Hill Farm products. Dumped it.

Do you wake up early on a Saturday morning to get dressed, put on a little bit of makeup so as not to scare anyone, and then try to decide whether or not to wear a slipper in public, or if you can find socks, running shoes and sunglasses at the grocery store? No. You do not. You have already purchased the heavy cream on the lightning deal and it is sitting in the kitchen. You mix it up with warm water and a fork and then put it in the fridge, just like the reviewers suggested. Saturday morning coffee was preserved. There is a lifelong kitchen secret.

👤Finally! After reading reviews and experimenting with mixing powdered cream with cold, cool, ice and hot water, I am happy! I made 2 cups of cream. After letting my boiled water cool after a couple of minutes, I poured a little water into the pitcher and continued with adding a bit more until the water was incorporated into the powder. I could see how the hot water was mixing with the powder, but I didn't use a spoon or fork to mix it. The key was to let the water bloom in the powder and not mix it right away. I used to blend the mixture with my blender. I used cold, cool and ice water to mix and there were no clumps. I used the immersion blender to mix with cold water. The taste was different. I will order more now that I know how to mix it. You can see what it looks like with the photo I added. It looks heavy cream.

👤I have a food plan where I weigh and measure all my food. In the last several years, I have had every type of food scale, and I always go back to this one. OXO is a great brand, and the fact that you can pull the screen out when a plate is large, is important. The old version didn't allow me to turn it off without holding down the button, that's the only thing I don't like about it. I think it may run out of battery sooner now, but I think it's good because it doesn't turn off when you're weighing something. I will get used to turning it off when I am done, the food scale is still the best I use.

👤Why one person? Doesn't stop. It will be about a couple months before batteries need to be changed. To turn off, press power. Fix auto off and you'll get a 5 star product. The previous model only had batteries changed once.

When it starts to get low on battery, the display goes off, so you think you've turned it off, but, in fact, you haven't and then it drains much more quickly. You won't regret it if you get the scale that is a little more expensive.

👤The scale would be perfect if it was able to measure grams in a single tenth of a gram. Sometimes seasonings count to a half gram when cutting a recipe in half. I have to use my coffee scale to measure the fractional grams. The scale is good.

Superb for anyone measuring grams or ounces. Highly recommended.

👤The starter kit is great. I am new to baking and I bake cakes and cupcakes. Everything I needed was in this kit. I thought the materials would be cheap, but they aren't. They are perfect. The amount of frosting tips you get is amazing. There are many. I baked my first cake from scratch with this kit. The kit is still great if you are not new to baking. It is in a box that is small and perfect. I received an email from the company asking if everything was in the box. I thought it was great.

The non slip feet on the turntable and the spring pans that aren't in the other kits are nice. The presentation is done well. Its in a nice box and separated into its own bags. A great gift. They are loving it, and I bought them for my gf and daughter. I get to eat the cake. They got to me in hours, not days, after I contacted customer service about the eBook. The book is over 100 pages. 👤Wow! I was surprised when I bought this kit last minute for my first attempt at a tier wedding cake. The items inside the packaging were in good shape despite being a little beat up. The kit allowed me to create a masterpiece despite the fact that the cake leveler did not work as I needed it to, but it did allow me to create a masterpiece. It's a good investment for a beginner.

👤I don't know how they fit all the stuff into this box, but once you open it, there's no way to put them back in the box for storage. Before you open, have a plan. The products are mediocre in quality, like you bought them from the dollar store. It is still an ok value for all the things you get, especially if you will use every single item in there. If you don't want to use all the items in there, then it's better to just buy them individually and get better color coordinated tools. This would be a great gift for your niece who is 13 to 17 years old. There are a lot of things that are better quality and cheaper at Ross/Marshall's or Fred Meyer. I just started to notice the cake tools at the stores after I bought this box.

The rack is not 12” as stated on the label, it is shorter and rattles back and forth, no big deal. I bought a larger rack from another brand that fits perfectly into my baking pan and does not budge, but can a basic 5 dollar one do the same job?

👤My search for a good rack has been very frustrating, too many of them are not solid or flimsy. This one is very sturdy. All of the wire is good heavy gauge. I had to file off a few edges on wire because of slight warpage. It's better than most. I would buy it again. I didn't receive this product in exchange for my review. I feel free to speak my mind after paying full price.

👤I received my 2 racks yesterday and they are great! Love that they are high quality. I will use mine for cooking bacon in the oven and other uses. The pans fit perfectly on the racks. After reading the reviews and getting different answers, I still don't know if the rack is above or below my pan. The top of my pan is about a quarter of an inch below the rack. This is where I wanted it to be. The rack is strong. Thank you for the great product.

👤I am very happy with the performance of this rack. I use this rack to bake chicken pieces. The wire diameter is a little smaller than other racks, but it is still sturdy for baking/roasting. It was clean after a run through the dishwasher. I have had rack that have been plated steel or coated steel and eventually they break down. The cheaper versions will last less than this one. The only thing I have a problem with is that some of the cut ends of the wires were a little dull. I have a question about whether this rack will survive an oven cleaning cycle.

I put mine in Franks hot sauce for about 6 hours, then sprinkle with a little black pepper and smoked paprika. The rack made them come out better than ever. Next time, I might lightly broil them for that extra crispness. The rack is well made. The meat wouldn't stick if I sprayed it with Pam. It fit perfectly in my pan and held about 18 wings. It was easy to clean up with a plastic scrubber. The instructions said to dry it immediately. Even though it says for baking and broiling, they don't list a temp. The wrapper has a max on it. I couldn't find one.

👤I own more digital food thermometers than any other person, however this one will be my last. I compared it to one my brother passed along to me several years ago and it was very accurate. The ability to push a button to hold the reading so I don't need to keep my hand over the BBQ is one feature that I find useful. It also comes with a spare battery. I would definitely recommend this purchase. I have just realized it is magnetic.

👤The cooking shows say that the $100 thermometers will tell you the food temperature in 3 seconds, whereas the cheap ones take up to 30 seconds. This is proof that those chefs are wrong. This thing is very easy. You just have to open it and it will turn on. If you want to make it work, put it in the meat. Three seconds. And it has your numbers! And the price? Come on! They're giving these things away. If you ask me, these should be in the $100 range.

👤I have used my new instant thermometer 4 times since purchase, and it works great, but its readout was starting to flicker, and I compared it to my old instant read thermometer. I am very happy with my purchase. It's almost as good that this new one folds into itself for storage, protecting it from poking me when I rifle through all my gadgets, as I miss having a sheath in which I can place it before putting it in my utensil drawer. The reference ranges are printed on the handle. I recommend it!

👤This is a great thermometer. It is fast, accurate, easy to use, easy to read, water proof, illuminated, and the probe just folds into the handle to turn it off and store. We used to rely on the small battery powered thermometers that are sold at Home Depot, Lowes, and the grocery store. The storage sleeves were always getting lost, and we would often kill them by getting them wet while cleaning, because they were hard to handle, hard to read, and hard to shut off by themselves. It is unlikely that you will accidentally drop the probe into a liquid while you are checking it. This is a great value.

👤This is a great thermometer. It's possible to check the temperature in the oven, on the grill, or anywhere. It's always been difficult to know that the meat is safe to eat. Within a few seconds, I could see that the cooking was slower. I could check the temperature of food in the oven without opening the door. Works on everything. I'm an engineer and love data.

If you are buying this as a replacement, you should be prepared to do a lot of practice and trial and error as there are no instructions as to how to work this. The most basic guidelines would help. The booklet only covers paint nozzles. The brush is designed for sand blasters. A novice will spend a lot of time learning how to operate it. A booth is a must in order to save and reuse oxide grit. It worked well out of the box. It is well made, but not much thought is given to its marketing. A decent price point makes it accessible to most people. If you're new to grit blasting, you should have a booth and a large refill.

👤It should be used with low humidity. It's important to dry your sand before you use the sandblaster. You can dry your sand by baking at 250 for five minutes. If you do this many times, you will have less gunk. I enjoy this thing a lot. It helps them with little jobs.

👤I was hesitant to buy a bargain tool, but I was swayed by the positive reviews. I've found that you get what you pay for in my 20 years of working in various fields. There are some problems with the product that was shipped to me. 1. The hose assembly is cheap and has a filter built into it. The filters leaked at the crimp connections. The cheap nature of the filter makes it pointless. You will need a quality filter if you want dry air. 2. The flow of air was not stopped by thetrigger. When I took my finger off, thetrigger valve came back up slowly to stop the air flow. If you buy one of these, you will need the adapter, don't fool yourself with the thought that you can make something work, it's not a standard thread pattern. I think you get what you pay for and should have gone with my gut feeling, I'm looking for a better quality product.

👤Total waste of money. There were no instructions or users guide. I have tried every pressure, media, and flow setting. Will not suck the media. The media tube gets stuck a lot when it starts to spray.

The "non-stick" surface is chipping off after about 5 uses. This is not something that you would want to have. It is not very good. It doesn't hold up to a lot of use. If you get this item, you should get disposable mini cupcake liners. I baked cupcakes with cupcake mix and mini quiche cups.

I was adding weight in half grams without the numbersudging on the scale. I got up to 18g. I knew it was 18 because it still read 0. It read -18 when I took it off. Weight must be added at a rapid rate to register any change. This scale is not worth the money.

My package arrived today and it seems to be very good quality scale that was ready to use, instinctively, right out of the box. They have online instructions for the little details. I am very impressed with this company. If you can, check out the picture I posted. Talk about giving back and reducing waste. They are having a contest with temporary tattoos opposite the scale in the same photo, which their site has information on. I think I got more than a scale in the box, which sounds so hokie, I know. If I am making chicken taco, I will put the plate and two tortillas on the scale first. I will zero it out after that. I will know how much I am having when I add my chicken. Then I add cheese, zero it out again and add more. It is easy to use and helps in counting calories. It is amazing if you enter your food intake into an app. The first one I purchased stopped working after receiving it, but they company promptly shipped another. If this one holds up, I will increase my rating to 5. It is a good chance that it was a one-off defect. I would like to thank you for rating and reading my review. I usually don't spend a lot of money on something if I don't think it's worth it. I was glad I took a chance on this. I will say that it is a very good buy if it lasts for a long time. I was unsure if I would buy the pan. I am also going to buy that. It is well worth it in my opinion.

I was skeptical at first. The cost seems high to me, a discount shopper. Is they worth the price? They are worth the price. We had temperatures all the way around. That provided perfectly baked items, no matter where they sat on the sheet. They did a better job than our cheapo pans did. Less burning. Less preparation. Less angry! Our old baking sheets are not as clean as night and day. These wipes are wiped down without much effort. There's no cursing coming from the kitchen because nothing gets stuck. Happy family! Before ordering, please take note of the sizes. We are appreciative of the sheets we got, but we would prefer a bigger size. I'm adding another set of five stars. I wish we had upgraded a long time ago. I think of all the baking sheets I've thrown away. I probably have spent more in replacing my baking sheets than I would have if I had just bought quality ones.
