Best Baking Lavender Extract

👤There is barely any smell or flavor. I used it in baking and bought another one that did the job.

👤I have tried every flavor since I received this. The jasmine was the only one that I didn't like. I mostly use them to flavor my black tea in the morning because they work well for frosting and baking. I like being able to choose my tea's flavor. The difficulty of getting small amounts of extract for flavoring tea has been complained about by some. I use a plastic chopstick to stir my tea after I add sugar and it works well because I spread the extract on my tea filter three times. I like the rose and lavender extract in tea. I think this was a good value.

They could be removed with a pair of small scissors if they were sewn in with a line of separate stitching. If you want to remove a label, you have to tear out the part of the hem that is holding it. I will do that.

👤I don't understand the reviews. The napkins look lovely in the package, but washing renders them barely usable. The item is not flat and smooth because it is not sized correctly. When folded, the corners will never match up. The item is supposed to be clean. I had to throw them out.

The glass eyedropper is needed for easy measurement. The dropper is not included in most other oils of this size. I have three young kids and animals and use lavender multiple times a day. Even with the heavy uses, this bottle lasts me 3 months. My daily uses include: Feet/back rubs, diaper rash, and more. Bug bites Burns Itchy/Irritated skin, Sun burn, Cuts, Bee Stings, and more. The water is bath water. Every single day, use the diffuser. The agent is calm in the evening. Use on bedding and pajamas for children. Use on bedding for dogs. It's a good idea to use skin spray for horses. Laundry can be used in skin spray for cats. Use in shoes. Cleaning can be done in bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms, kennels, car, etc. I was hesitant to include this for your needs due to the lack of pictures of bottle and information, but I am glad I did. I use lavender oil for everything, and I was not dissatisfied with the quality of the product. Highly recommend this product!

My original source for years was not selling the pure Lavender Augustafloria essential oil, so I was looking for a new one. I was dissatisfied with my purchase from Radha Beauty as it smelled like lavender essential oil, and I had been buying lavender from Majestic Pure for years. It does not smell good, but it is the real deal, as evidenced by the fact that Majestic Pure has mixed it with another form of lavender essential oil. I used lavender to scent my soaps and no one would want the smell of lavender essential oil. It doesn't smell like lavender.

👤The taste of butter type extracts is a concern for me. I use it to make cookies with brown butter. If you smell the bottle. The smell of butter is not fresh. Several reviewers complain that it isn't imitation butter extract. This makes no sense. The packaging does not use the word butter. The smell of alcohol is sweet. I don't think I have ever smelled an extract like that. The majority of extracts use alcohol. Alcohol is a good oxidizer. When you use butter extract in baked goods? It is one of the best. As with any butter enhancing product? Please use it lightly and don't look at it!

👤I ordered the extract from Amazon because I can't find it in any local stores. I like baking with it because it adds butteriness to our baking that we didn't get in our alternative baking. I don't know how much they used, or if they were trying to replace the butter itself, but if you use it like any other baking extract, it will taste the same. It adds the butteriness you want without being overwhelming. It tastes close enough to fill in the missing gap that it doesn't taste 100% spot-on. If it's bothering you, then maybe use butter. The product is good. Although I have never had any problems ordering through Amazon, they sent the wrong thing, which my family cannot have because of their milk allergies. I was bugged. I ordered this from Amazon because I can't find the imitation anywhere, and they sent me exactly what I was trying to avoid. I don't have what I wanted for holiday baking, so I'll have to return it. Please review the orders carefully. I realize there are similar items out there, and perhaps the average baker would be thrilled to be given the genuine extract instead of the imitation, but there may be health reasons why they wanted the imitation! I can keep the butter extract, but I'll have to find someone to give it to. I'm not sure if it's worth trying to get the right thing again. I'm not happy.

👤My skin looks like a teen with anaclysm. Baking soda based deodorant can cause a rash. If there is a rash, be careful and stop use. All of my friends had reactions when they tried this and had to have cysts drained by a medical professional. I fell in the middle.

I thought it was a good idea to add it as an add on because of my experience with the brand and this scent so far. I am glad I did. I have been using Toms for years and it is the best. The coverage/rose scent lasts well over a day and a half, and it goes on like any other solid deodorant. I can put it on in the morning and still smell it when I wake up. I like trying new things, but I also like rose scented things, so I will use this as my deodorant as long as they make it.

👤I have a lot of skin allergies, and have never found a single deodorant that I wasn't allergic to when I was younger. I had to switch between 4 different anti-perspirants to get rid of my allergic reaction, and had to stay inside as a stinky gremlin until my skin stopped peeling off. I found a few that didn't cause an allergic reaction, but didn't block the smell. This one is awesome. Oh boy! I'm not allergic to it and it works. I am very happy about that. If you're active, you have to apply it once a day, but many of the sprays have to be applied more than once a day.

👤I like the smell of roses when it comes to my personal care items. I know the brand and have been satisfied with their products before. I love that this is all natural and free of aluminum. I have been using all natural deodorants for a year or two now and the only thing I dislike is that the scent wears off much faster than normal ones, so I've been trying new ones frequently. I think the search stops here because the scent stays on. I was very happy that it didn't wear off much throughout the day. The scent is strong and almost like a perfume. I think I'll try a different scent next time. It's a lovely scent, but if you don't like floral scents then try a different one. I'm excited to try the other scents once this one is done, I'm really happy with this brand of deodorant. It's very soft and natural. I haven't noticed any white marks on my clothes yet but it's another plus.

👤I bought this set of icing colors to make Christmas Cookies. I needed an excuse, but I just wanted to eat them myself. The chart on the side shows that the box contains 12 "bold" colors, which is a good value for the money. I only used five of the colors, "No Taste" Red, Royal Blue, Kelly Green, Brown, and Black." It is advertised as "No taste" red, but I am not sure why. It is possible that the other colors delivered the results advertised. I thought I would be able to decorate my Christmas Trees with just these five colors. I have had issues with using the liquid and the gel food colors in the grocery store in the past, in that they don't get the colors bold enough. Santa is wearing a pink and grey suit. The Black shined and achieved the color on the box, but they weren't much better. Green and Red came close, but needed almost the entire amount supplied in order to get a couple shades lighter than what is on the box. When the icing dries, they will not match the box. The Brown required the entire supply to produce enough brown for a dozen tree trunks. The funniest part is reading the instructions on the side of the box, which states, "For black or brown icing, start with chocolate icing to minimize the amount of color needed." Hello? I don't think I need to add food coloring to chocolate icing. I can only imagine how bad the Black would have looked if I had taken that approach. The biggest issue with this product is how the colors are applied to your icing. I am used to eyedropper style packages that allow you to add a small amount at a time. The instructions always say to add color a little at a time. I was surprised that the colors are delivered in small pots, like in a painting set. Each pot is sealed with a safety seal similar to a bottle of aspirin, but without a tab or a way to remove it. You end up splattering the color all over everything if you punch through with a toothpick. When you peel the seal off, you do it again. The product shines at staining your fingers. The instructions suggest dipping a toothpick into the color and then transferring that to the icing. After using about a dozen toothpicks to make Santa Red, I ended up tipping the container upside down and using a toothpick to make the color. The gel isn't easy to flow in. I used up my entire supply of Red and Black to make a dozen or so cookies. It's called TL;DR. I wouldn't buy this product again. I didn't get the colors I was hoping to achieve because it was too difficult to use.

👤I wrote a good review for this item, but after a lot of bad experiences I have to change it. I received missing and duplicate colors in a sealed box of food coloring. I was halfway through a recipe and needed to add food color. If you open the box immediately, you'll see if all the colors are there. Quality control should be higher for the price that they charge.

👤I used the helichrysum several times a day for 6 months after my surgery. The scar tissue on my jaw and neck was very hard, but after a few months of use, it was much better. Friends are amazed by my minimal scar and how it has completely vanished from my face, neck, and lower lip. I stopped using the oil after 6 months because I didn't think it could improve scar tissue. A friend told me yesterday that the helichrysum oil can help the scar tissue that develops after surgery. I felt a sensation of weakness immediately after applying the oil to my scar. I'm buying more bottles to share with our adult son who recently suffered a bad skateboarding fall and anyone who might get deep wounds that need repair. I'm 56 years old, so cut me some slack on the facial image. :o)

👤The plastic top on the bottle makes it hard to get this oil out. It will not come out. The oil goes flying in all directions when you shake the bottle hard. I tried widening the holes after taking the plastic top off. I would love for this oil to come with a functional top.

👤I didn't think this oil would be very good. I was very impressed with the quality of this oil. I had doubts because real Indian sandalwood can be very expensive these days, and a lot of places use Australian sandalwood instead, which is not the same tree and doesn't smell. This? The stuff was good for the price. It's close to my bottle of Mysore Sandalwood, but it's so close that the difference is almost negligible, even if you blend it with any other oils you want. It's a little bit softer than the Mysore, but it's a lovely scent. I compared the two products, one on one wrist and the other on the other. It took a little while for the mid-notes to unfold after only a back-and-forth comparison. It's very slight and both are wonderful-smelling, but that's the point where I could smell the difference. There is a If you don't want to pay for another brand, this is a good purchase. I would definitely recommend this because of the good quality and reasonable price. If you're having problems with the oil dripping out too slowly, you can use a pipette or eyedropper instead. Don't be foolish. Your oil is not stuck in a bottle forever. You can do it. I believe in you.

👤I bought this product and the Myrrh to make blends for a women's seminar. Each woman was given a unique blend. I wish I had all my olis in this brand. They are strong and pure. Their range is up to ten. My friend is a doctor and he is good at muscle testing. She puts it at a ten on the scale. You know what that means! It smells great if you have a TINY amount. 👤These were purchased to flavor home-made ice-cream. In my opinion, a single drop could be overpowering in my drinks. After a few weeks of trial and error, I decided to use a spoon to dip and stir into my recipes to get the measure right with less fuss. I would prefer if the bottle lids had a round-headed dropper stick. Only one bottle, the Coconut, came with an air-tight seal. The bottle lid can slip when screwed down. The air-tight lid design appears to have a better build quality than the bottle, though it holds the same amount.

👤I love maple syrup and am low in calories. This gives me the flavor without the sugar. I make cheese waffles. They are made with mozarella cheese, egg and almond flour, and I mix in some cinnamon, and they are so good. There are recipes on-line for low-carb syrups that can be used to make maple syrup. I'm going to try that very soon.

👤I found a video on the internet where they showed you how to double your butter. You mix a pound of butter with a packet of gelatin and 1/2 cup of milk and whip the heli out of it. The end product is pretty nice, but not like real butter. The bell went off in my head when I ran across the butter substitute. I'll add it to the butter I'm making. This product has never been used before. I thought the cost was reasonable and would add it to my cakes. They delivered the shipment tonight and I'll be damned if it was a package of six. Oh no! They sent me the wrong thing, so I double checked and found out I was wrong, and then I checked the 6 pack option. I came here to warn the rest of you that I was going to use this product for more and more things, and now I'm glad I made the mistake. I opened it and tasted it, even though it was written that the flavor was poor. I did that butter flavor. I would be squeezing in the drop after eating my cakes and butter. I'm going to bake some bread after this. Can't wait to try it out. I saw a lady use on TV and ordered a beer. I have pulled my teeth waiting for dentures and am so bad for bacon that I thought of all the recipes I could use to make it taste better. What is the bacon flavor? The baby is going right next to the stove for easy access, I think I paid around $8. I'll be using this a lot. Try it out.

👤The lavender flowers are grayish and only lightly scented compared to the darker bluish purple and heavily scented flowers I own at home. I bought a bag for my sister in law so we could make lavender stuff. I'm very sad. A lot of what is in the bag is not flowers. I could deal with a lesser quality bud, but there's a lot of stuff and I don't know what else to do. I made a bad lavender lemonade and picked out as much as I could. It doesn't taste as good as my usual batches, and it has things floating on top, even though I used a fine mesh strainer. The buds looked terrible steeping in the hot water, the scent is off, and the flavor is sub-par. I wouldn't use them for cooking. Do you mean potpourri or bath teas? Yes. Is it tea? Nope. Even though they are posting baking recipes, it's definitely not for baking.
