Best Baking Lavender Oil

👤There is barely any smell or flavor. I used it in baking and bought another one that did the job.

👤I have tried every flavor since I received this. The jasmine was the only one that I didn't like. I mostly use them to flavor my black tea in the morning because they work well for frosting and baking. I like being able to choose my tea's flavor. The difficulty of getting small amounts of extract for flavoring tea has been complained about by some. I use a plastic chopstick to stir my tea after I add sugar and it works well because I spread the extract on my tea filter three times. I like the rose and lavender extract in tea. I think this was a good value.

👤Pro: This brand is not refined, but instead a cold expeller process is used to eliminate the solid acids that are solid at room temperature, and retain the liquid at room temperature, which has 4 times more of the healthy Medium Chain Triglycerides. Hypothyroid people feel less cold because of the increase in metabolism. I am disappointed in how little my Levothyroxine prescription has helped in this regard, and so I have looked for some healthy foods like this one that can help boost my not-so-well thyroid and my metabolism. -- The distilling process used no solvent and the container/bottle has no harmful chemicals. The coconut oil does not have a coconut taste to it. This oil can be used to cook food up to 350 degrees F, which I prefer to food product from China. Some people enjoy starting their day with a small amount of coconut oil in their coffee, and others only eat BPC as their only breakfast in order to get the benefits of intermittent fasts.

👤I bought it at Walmart. I thought it was a good choice. I use it in my coffee a lot. I ordered two from Amazon on the auto delivery every other month. This would be a good way to make sure I don't run out. The first two bottles looked great. I have read that the oil has gone bad and that the next two bottles were yellow in color. I returned the oil after cancelling the auto delivery. I still use the first bottle, but when I looked at the other bottle in my pantry, it was yellow. I'm afraid to use it because it's pale yellow, not as dark as the new shipment. I'm going to buy one bottle at a time from Walmart or try a different brand. This product was very disappointing.

I've bought this brand before and it doesn't look like what I received today. The two bottles are being compared. It's not sure if this is safe to cook with and use for essential oil.

👤I like to add Fractionated coconut oil to my drinks. The brand doesn't specify how much more coconut oil is in it than regular coconut oil. I use coconut oil in the morning because it helps with my mental clarity by crossing over the blood-brain barrier. It is less likely to be absorbed as body fat if I eat less. The energy from fat is more than the energy from carbs. I gave it 4 stars because it is 100% coconut oil and non-GMO, but it does not list the level of MCT's I would think it is at the low end. This is a good value for the money because it costs more to get the higher end.

👤Okay. I would give this product a 5 star because it is absolutely perfect. There has been a change in the way the product is pushed up the deodorant. The product trickles through that piece, through the wheel on the bottom, and all over my counter as I use it. This never happened with the previous one. I haven't changed the temperature of my home, it's housed in the same space as the older product, but this new dispenser leaks everywhere. I bought another stick thinking I had run out, but it happened again after a few weeks. I lost 1/3 of the product in the stick when I purchased this product twice. I am fine with the product being a little pricey, but it is not worth the hassle of having a mess all over the space I leave it in. I am looking for another product because the dispensers are being degraded. My hope is that one day they will make a better dispenser, or even stick with the older version. People are not throwing money and time out the window. It is a shame that the product is ruined by the dispensers because it is the best one I have found. My advice to you is to look for a different deodorant, because the frustration is not worth it.

👤The smell and packaging are nice, but disappointing when it comes to function. I have tried almost all of the aluminum free products out there and was hoping this would be different. No go. It never dries, you are constantly wet and gooey under your pitts. It does not keep you smelling fresh. I am a trauma nurse and after one trauma, no one would want me to lift my arms. It's expensive, but it's fine if it worked. Back to the drawing board!

👤This is the best natural antiperspirant I have ever used. I buy a million natural products a year and this is the one I want. This one will not make me smell bad when I start to sweat. The lavender scent is amazing. I haven't gotten any irritation like I did with the brand I used to use, it glides on easily. The price is the only problem I have with it. It costs twice as much as the last natural one I used. I don't want to have to use the other one again, so I'm hoping it lasts a while.

👤I wanted to like this because it sounded great in the other reviews. I had a reaction to it after one use. I've been free of aluminum for a long time. I don't know what caused the reaction. I didn't like the smell. The orange was nice initially, but after one use, the vetivert was overpowering. The smoke is heavy and it smells like oranges. Tea tree oil is so versatile and painless that it used to be my go to for anything. I and two of my clients started getting sick about 10 to 15 minutes after applying. The headaches would start and then the shivers would start. Its terrible. Tea tree oil can cause toxicity in many cases, so I went looking for more information. The tea tree is toxic when eaten in large quantities. If it is absorbed through the skin, it's possible for the body to reject it. I switched to oregano oil. It's hot. And a little caustic. I always diluting first. It burns even at half strength. It becomes more innocuous at 5%. It probably won't work if it Stinks, Sting or Stains. It's funny. The stuff is from the high mountains. Use with care. It works! Do you have a resistant fungus? Here is the answer. Use twice a day for 12 hours. 5%Diluted drops to a small amount of carrier oil. I use coconut oil that is thin and easy to spread. The solution should not be put on the bare fingers. It will end up in an eye. At all times use brushes, q-tips or droppers. If you use gloves, make sure they are disposable because the oil will eventually melt through the fingers. Your mileage will vary. The bottle will last a long time. Thanks! 👤I ordered this product back in October to use in our shampooss to prevent the spread of Lice. Nothing new for me, but this flare up was out of control and nothing worked. My girlfriend told me to use Tea Tree oil and Coconut oil. I woke up the next morning and my skin condition was 50% gone. I had some try skin but the redness had diminished. Sorry for a long review. You have tried everything if you are like me. I have been fighting BV since April 2016 and it is the worst. I am currently using a heaping spoon's worth of Sweet Almond Oil and Oregano Oil and putting it in a t-shirt and sleeping. The great thing is that oil doesn't cause the tampon to expand much so you can just put it back in its container. If you wake up in the morning, you can remove the smell and discharge. The discharge quality has improved greatly. I have been doing this for a week. I took a break between. I have not experienced any adverse affects like yeast infections or allergic reactions. You will be ok, but it will tingle a bit the first few times. The first time I did it, I thought it was the worst mistake of my life and I would die of a burnt vagina, but it subsided and it gets better as the tissue becomes healthier. I am taking 3 150MG Oil of Oregano pills and 2 500MG Echinacea and Goldenseal capsule every day and night, and I want to be able to take them once a week. I will do the same for you if you send me your positive energy and prayers, because you are not alone. I promise. Keep fighting the good fight sis. I had to stop using it internally because it was high grade and great quality, but I have never had a yeast infection. I was concerned by the change in discharge. I stopped while I was ahead because I didn't want to cause any damage to myself. I haven't given up, there is still more and more information coming out about new treatments for bv. They're coming up with something, and I'm still looking for answers. I got some Myo Inositol and D-Chiro Inositol in my cart, and I'm going to give that a try too. 👤I have tried many times to find a lavender essential oil that smells like pure lavender rather than lavender mixed with something else. I've tried most of the popular brands listed on Amazon, but the rest ended up in the trash. I compared them to actual lavender and they smelled real. The scent of French lavender is what makes theEdens Garden different. I got a bunch of doTerra samples after trying so many different lavenders. I'll compare this to the higher end to see how it stacks up. After receiving my doTerra samples, I can confidently say that the NOW Foods lavender smells more like lavender than doTerra. The doTerra has a sweeter undertone than the real lavender that I have, so I prefer it. If you're looking for a pure scent of lavender, NOW Foods andEdens Garden are better choices. The NOW Foods lavender GC/MS test identifies different substances in a sample. The test found NOW Food's lavender to be impure because it contains Lavandin, a plant created from Lavender and Spike Lavender. This oil is actually essential oil and is a mix of lavender and lavandin. For the price and size, I still recommend this brand, but I wouldn't rate it as highly as Edens Garden, which is pure lavender. If you have specific needs for this oil, you should compare the benefits of lavandin and lavender.

👤The oil is high quality. A little on the feet lulls me to sleep. I confirmed this with a paper drop test. Where others did not, it evaporated completely. Don't be tricked into spending more on lesser quality oils, 4oz is cheaper than most bottles. I trust Now in my home. I look for their products. You won't be disappointed.

👤I've traveled to lavender producers in France, and I can tell you that they are some of the most exquisite. You can call me a lavender snob. Most of the lavender oil sold online is fake. It is very important difference. Only areas of high elevation and specific climates grow true fine lavender. I can tell you that the oil smells genuine, even though I don't know if it fits that description. Not at all Medicial. I paid 60 euro for 1oz of lavender oil from Le Chateau de Bois, near the village of Gordes, in France, and it is the best smelling lavender oil I have ever smelled. That is the truth. I add a generous dose of liquid laundry detergent to the lavender oils that I still have. The lavender oil forgeries seem to be suited for that.

👤I felt I had to defend this product from what is more likely to be misunderstanding on the part of the consumer than the shortcoming of the company. I know there are many types of lavender, but I am not a world renowned lavender breeder. They all smell different. German and Roman chamomile smell similar but not alike. You will see a lot of people crabbing about the fact that they got a bottle of German and all they smelled was Roman. I believe that some of the bad reviews are due to this. We had a lavender bush growing up and this isn't it, that's right, you had lavender breed X and this apparently isn't that. You should always check that your oil brand lists the scientific name and actual species. When it makes a difference, better literature will specify the species when it makes a difference. The smell of lavender will be different depending on what kind of flowers are used. That is not a flaw. Some people prefer a flower oil, some people prefer a herb oil, and some people want stems and leaves. It's not right or wrong to tell someone who likes a lot of tannins in a wine that they are wrong. I have experience with this brand and it tends to mix stems and leaves with blooms. Sometimes companies have to change their blends for a reason. I would think that lavender lovers would take that into account. There's a lot of third party sellers on this site that shouldn't be sheltered by Amazon. They are selling adulterated products. People will buy the real stuff, pour most of it into other bottles, slap a label on and sell those bottles as 'Laurie's Awesome Lavender Oil' or whatever, and then take the nearly empty bottle and sell it to us. Twice the profit for them! It could be water or oil. It has a lavender smell that will fool you for two minutes until you decide that Now Foods are not the third party seller. It's not good if someone sells you oil that is old or has been mishandled. That's not the fault of the manufacturer. I've always bought oils from either a local business or a third party seller who has a high number of ratings, and I've made other trustworthy sales with both of them. The person is selling the item. Where it says 'Sold By'. Is it saying Amazon.com? Great. They are easy to work with. Does it say 'Biff's Fine Beauty Supply'? Then look at B above. I don't know what to say. My experience with Now Foods has always been good. I've owned at least six bottles of lavender and all have been fine for me. I don't think it smells synthetic, but I think those people prefer the softer, bloomier mixes or adulterated bottles. I own a lot of Now oils and carrier oils and they are excellent for the money, but they are not usually the height of superior product to be found anywhere in the world. I have used the two major MLM brands, as well as many of the major hippie-store-type brands, and I have to say that Now holds its own most of the time. Other oils are often five or more times the cost but are not as amazing and come in a smaller bottle. I don't have a lot of money, but these are very good value because they go through oil like crazy. In the year 2018: I still buy lavender oil. It is still good. There is a Drop oil on white paper to see if it leaves a mark, all oils do not do this. Only the most. The scent of Patchouli, myrhh, and other things will stain paper. If you don't do some research, you'll end up throwing out real oils or being mean to companies that sell real oils. I have had people tell me that they won't buy lavender oil because it failed the test. It's really sad.

You can find these at home recipes on line, but each requires a different preparation. It's worth the research. Make sure you do the research. Tea tree oil can work wonders for many, but may not be the best option for some. It can be hard to find a remedy that works for sensitive skin, so always try a small amount first. Tea tree oil can give you a lot of chemical free healing options, so hopefully you'll get the green light.

👤This oil was very good. I didn't find it strong in burning or smell, but I did find it strong in potentialirritation of skin. I used it for an illness on my head. I didn't use a carrier oil with it. It is in a small glass bottle. It is bottled in the USA but not known where it is made.

👤It should be watered down with coconut oil or something else. I probably did too many drops because I wanted to see the results. Which I do. My skin is healing where I need it to be. The scent of frankincense oil reminds me of tea tree oil. The package was bubble wrapped. Even though there is no type of drop, it is still fine. It is designed in a way that when you turn the bottle to pour out the oil, it lets out small drops of oil itself, which is cool, just as long as you are careful with your measuring. Great purchase!

👤I used a small amount of water and set my diffuse on the lowest mode for 3 times. My boyfriend and I both woke up with horrible illnesses, including coughing, body ache, and headaches. We thought it was an unlucky case of the flu. We woke up to the same terrible illness a week later after returning from traveling. I got worried this time. I moved the plant next to my bed, washed our sheets, aired out our room, and cleaned out my Diffuser. We were both home a few days ago and I decided to refresh the apartment by using the lavender oil and the same brand of oil. I had a suspicion that the oil was causing our illness, but I also thought I could be paranoid. It was 7 pm that night and my boyfriend and I were sick again, unable to breath, body aches, chills, and pounding headaches. I realized that I had been using the oils to diffuse them. I have both lavender and eucalyptus oils from other brands. These are not safe. I will be reaching out to the seller. I had these in my home 3 times and each time I and my boyfriend became violently and painfully ill.

I used the oil the day it arrived. I used the dropper to treat the window and duct work. I haven't seen a Lady Asian Beetle since I used this essential oil. The dropper dropped to the floor when I put it close to one. The problem of beetles and mice has been solved. I live in the country and I caught some yellow jackets that like to enter my home. I put them in a shot glass with a coaster covering it. I put a couple of drops on the yellow jacket and it dies within a minute or so. The smell of the Peppermint makes me feel good. I didn't like the smell of the lavender that I tried. I use a rub infused with the oil before I go to bed. I applied body lotion to my nostrils. I like the smell. When I wake up in the morning, I don't seem to be in a hurry. I'm very happy with the purchase.

👤The best lemon oil ever! I gave it less than 5 stars because of the bottle. You tend to waste more than you use because it's nearly impossible to not spill and come out of the open mouth very quickly. I thought I'd get ahead of that issue with my new bottle. Don't make the mistake of transferring this to a plastic bottle. I opened the cupboard to find that the oil had eaten through the plastic and mixed with the plastic to make a thick sticky mess all over the shelf and it's neighboring spices. Use glass if you transfer.

👤I've used Boyajian oils for a long time. They are always topnotch. I've bought them from Amazon for the past couple of years. The latest bottle is disappointing. There was no safety seal on the bottle, the oils color was darker than the previous bottle, the label was clear-taped on, and the expiration date was smudged. I threw it away. I missed the return date because I didn't open until August 10th. I am very concerned about this bottle. The contents are not sure if they are Boyajian oil or not.

👤These are terrific, I just got them. The packaging is a problem, it leaks. I picked up the lemon from the ground and could smell it. Shrink is wrapped over the top of the bottle. Put the bubble pack in. The box was still leaking. The cap on the bottle isn't screwed on all the way and the lemon oil is caustic to plastic, so it gets out through all the other layers. The MFG needs to know this. The bottles leaked. The product is great.

It's pure lemon oil, unlike some cheaper oils that are mixed with vegetable oils or alcohol. It gives a heavenly lemony zing to anything you add it to. I keep mine in the fridge. This product is very good. When I make my own all-natural hand sanitizer, I add a few drops for scent.

👤I have mixed feelings about this product. This one didn't work for me, I love the idea of natural anti-perspirant. I have no idea how to get rid of the burns under my pits that it gave me. The rash looked like the pictures above, but it healed after a while. My armpits look awful. I ordered this product off of Amazon, but I am not sure if that affects it. I am currently using a natural anti-perspirant and it is truly amazing.

I switched from dangerous, chemical-laden antiperspirant/deodorants about 2 years ago and have tried between 15-20 all natural deodorants. It has been a very stinky transition. I feel like I have tried everything. Here are a few things that haven't worked well and why: Kiss My Face sport aerosol, which is too strong and makes me gag, and Tom's of Rose, which is great, but doesn't last. I had given up and was resigned to a life of chemicals. I found Native. I assumed it was just lime and all the others, which are too much for my sensitive skin, but I was wrong. I tried Native as a last resort, and I am so happy that I did. I bought my first stick in March or April and just ordered a new one in June when the first one was getting low. I have only had to apply it once a day so far, and it smells great. I work in a fast-paced retail environment where it is normal for me to be sweating for most of my 10-hour shifts, and my pits still smell mostly like deodorant at the end of the day. We are just now getting into the full swing of summer heat/humidity and it may require applying twice on sticky, hot days. It doesn't keep you particularly dry as it's not an antiperspirant, but it does keep me slightly dryer than the similar products I've tried. This is the best product out there. It is definitely worth the $13 to try it out and see if it works for you. After years of searching for a product that would deliver like Native, I am happy to say that I have found one. I will be leaving this review for the Coconut Lavender one.

👤This was shipped fast. Next day shipping was great. Buds have strong smells, but it is listed as 3.5 ounces of lavender. They were weighed without being fully dried, or they were mismeasured, so it was not acceptable for a dried item to be less than 30 percent dry. I use lavender a lot. They immediately made my throat itch. I started sneezing. This is not something I've ever experienced working with lavender so I'm not sure what to make of this product. The listing only shows that it is imported upon receipt of the back of the item, I think it should have been more transparent from the seller. I will be returning this item and looking for another vendor.
