Best Baking Liners for Loaf Pans

👤I used this pan for the first time last night. I have been baking for over 50 years and recently decided to try more yeast and sourdough bread baking. King Arthur Flour is a great source for baking help and suggestions. The small loaf pan is highly recommended by them and Cook's Illustrated. I ordered this pan because I only had a 9” Pyrex loaf pan and a 9” metal pan. King Arthur Flour has a logo on the bottom of the pan. I made my first loaf of sourdough sandwich bread and it came out great, and tastes even better. I turned the pan upside down to drain and air dry after washing it. Imagine my shock when I discovered rusty water in the corners of the pan after I turned the pan over and put it away. I collected the paper towel after blotting it up. I tried to take a picture of it. I looked at the rolled edge when I turned the pan upside down. The rolled edge can collect water. I can see rust under the edge. I think the reinforcing wire might not have been coated and it might rust. I don't like the rust. The reviewer suggests that the pans be put into a 200' oven to dry the rolled edge, as there is no way to dry it. I will have to try this. I would appreciate it if USA Pan could give me a better way to care for my pan. If the pan is damaged or scratched, I worry that it will rust. I know that metal tools are not used. How durable is this pan? I hope the manufacturer and other users can clarify.

👤I make all my bread and my old loaf pans have been there for a long time. I wasIntrigued by the design and the part that was made in the USA, so I bought the small. The USA Pans pan loaf is very sturdy and heavy. My loaves get nice bloom and bake beautifully and evenly, because of a very light greasing. It was larger than my old one. The loaf pans are standard. My loaves leave no trace. They don't have any lip on the far ends, so you need two hands to raise it out of the oven, and in de-panning the loaf, there's nothing to grab onto with one hand. I've come close to burning one or both hands in removal or depanning and it's just very awkward. I like the pan a lot and that very real complaint is not true. To work out the awkward handling issues. A very even, tender crust is also developed by finished loaves. I filled my loaf pan with water to see if the corners would leak, and after 10 minutes, they didn't. I highly recommend you get it, because it's difficult to handle the hot pan until you figure out how to do it safely. I anticipate a long time out of this bread pan.

👤I baked these at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. They are advertised as suitable for baking. The pans started smelling and smoking. They were going to catch my oven on fire. I don't want to think that I baked something that was greasy. I pulled them out before they caught on fire. There was a smell of something. I don't want to throw out my bake goods.

👤The pans I bought were labeled as 50 pieces. There are other ways to order less pans. I wanted 50 pans and the price would be about 50 cents a pan which would be an ok price. I received the pans. There were 25 of them. This is 50 pieces. 50 usable pans is not what it is. This makes each pan about $1 which is double of what I thought I was paying and a bit much to pay for very small pans. Just a heads up. You should read the fine print. There are 25 pans with 25 lids. Not 50 pans in total. If you like the quantity and price, go for it. They look strong enough to bake small loaves of bread.

👤My husband is an over the road truck driver and he uses a heated lunch box and I make and freeze all his meals in these so he can cook at home. They hold a good meal for him and are very sturdy. I buy them in bulk to have on hand.

👤I didn't want to expose our friends and mailman to aluminum again this year with our bread gifts, so I found these paper loaf pans by Kitchen Supply. I gave them a try because they had the best reviews. The paper loaf pans have worked well for me. I have given them five stars because they did not leak when baking, they did not fall apart in the process, and they are sturdy enough to hold their shape when holding a loaf of quick bread. I reduced my oven temperature by 10%, which was recommended in the instructional paper from the manufacturer. I had to bake my bread at the maximum time recommended by the recipe, but it turned out lovely. I was surprised that the holes in the bottom of the pans are not visible in the photos, even though they are in the bottom of the pans. You can see what the holes look like with photos of my own pans. The bread baked up just fine without any leaks, as I was not worried about the possible leaking of my batter. They absorb grease from your product because they are a paper product. There is one downfall. The pans are not sealed enough to hold a glaze on the product after baking, which is a downside. I've included pictures of the glaze dripping out of the pans and onto the counter. You can see how much glaze is on each loaf from another photo. It's a fair amount. The loaves were still quite warm, so maybe waiting until they've cooled some would help the glaze cool a little faster and not run through the bottoms so much. There is still a fair amount of glaze on the loaves and not everything ran through, so there should still be a good amount on the sides as well. I bought the 6 x 2.5 x 2 inch pans, as well as the 8 x 2.5 x 2 inch pans, and have included a photo comparing their size.

👤I use them for drawer organizers. I was given a few for one of my drawers, but I couldn't find where to get more or what they were called. I found these on Amazon and knew they were the same as my old ones. These are amazing drawer or drawer organizers. Highly recommended them for that. I can't talk about their other uses. I initially received round pan ones, but contacted the seller and they immediately sent out the correct ones and I received them. Excellent customer service.

👤It's perfect for gift giving. The bread was made using the 4x2x2 size. It needs to be filled almost full left for it to rise. They were baked in the oven for an hour. Checked on the half way point. They stuck to the pan. jiggle them out with a butter knife. They will be wrapped up for my kids teachers if they are put back in.

I made several loaves of chocolate chip pumpkin bread to give to our neighbors for Thanksgiving and each loaf turned out beautifully. A recipe for a loaf of bread will fill about 3 of the pans, which worked out perfectly to account for rising. I didn't have to turn the loaves out to cool them. I don't have to worry about washing pans for reuse in between batches, that's a nice feature. I had one pan that wasn't secure at one of the top corners, otherwise they were all usable. I have ordered for Holiday baking and plan to use these for any future baking. Highly recommended! If you purchase cello bags and pretty ribbons/Baker's twine, these make beautiful gifts.

There are no stickers that you can't remove. Will I buy them again? My dog loves them and she gets to lick them before I throw them out.

👤I like to bake banana and pumpkin bread and these are perfect to take to work. I can split the batter into 2 pans with the recipe that I use. The done come with a lid. I use aluminum to cover them.

👤This is the perfect size for freezing small portions of casseroles for 2 people, so you don't have to make huge pans of food and have leftovers in your fridge. I used to use the pyrex loaf pans, but they started to crack over time, so I have been throwing them away. I could probably use these pans again, or use them for something else, because they are more economical. I love them!

👤The dimensions listed by the seller are not accurate. This is not the loaf pan you are looking for. The wide lip of the pan is listed as an outside measurement. The pan's inside is closer to 9 feet long and 3 feet wide. If the inside dimensions don't matter to you, I'm sure this loaf pan will work for you. I had to send it back because I wanted to bake a sandwich-size loaf of bread to match my other pans. I'm not sure if the non-stick features of this pan would warrant a 5 star rating, but I have given them only 1 star because the seller didn't give the inside dimensions.

👤I smelled a strong chemical odor when I opened the box and it lingered after I washed it. My breads will be smaller than a standard bread pan because the dimensions are not of the inside of the pans. The outer tip of the pan is very deceiving. It was packaged well and I found their website to be very professional with a variety of Silicon products. I don't think the ratings would be as high if they all had the same smell. I returned the pans for a refund and INRDeals

👤I took it out of the oven and it was useless. I wasn't handling it the same way. I've been very careful with cleaning and handling because they've made bread making and clean up very easy. I would give them 5 stars for that part, but 7 months before breaking is not acceptable.

👤These were terrible. I thought I would give baking with silicone a try after hearing so many mixed reviews. Two loaves of cranberry orange bread were thrown out because they didn't bake right. The outer crusts were gross. These are not a full sized bread pan. The results would have been different if I had split the batter between the two pans. I am glad I didn't spend a lot on these because they went straight into the trash.

👤Silicone has come a long way. Whole food plant based means no oil, salt, sugar, dairy or meat. Unless it has silicone or paper in it, everything gets slashed. It's a lot of hassle to use the pneumatic paper. I baked a banana nut bread and after cooling it, I turned the loaf pan over and it fell out. I loved it. There is a Do you want to clean a problem? Not with this loaf of bread. It can be put in the oven as it is bigger on the feet. I think I could put one on top of the other. The price is right.

👤You make Lemon Zuchinni bread when you get lemons in 2020. Cream Cheese Banana Nut bread is also made when the oven is on. They only took 35-40 minutes to bake and are the perfect gift. I put them on the baking sheet because I didn't want them to fall or spill. They came mashed in one corner, affecting most, but not all of them. I can make them look thin, but not new. I expected Amazon to improve the packaging after seeing other reviews with the same complaint. They received an envelope.

👤The measurement is correct to the top edge of the pan. I thought I was buying a loaf pan. These aren't them. These are small. I thought they were 1/2 the size, based on the images in the ad. I didn't give any stars for this, as that was my mistake, and I didn't consider the measurements given. I can still use them for smaller items. Next time, I'll be better informed. These are not bad for money. There are 30 smaller loaf pans.

👤These are very easy to use. These make baking very easy, I bake bread for my neighbors and friends. I spray them first with butter and bake them at the suggested temp. If you use Betty Crocker or Pillsbury you can fill 2 of these pans with 1 box of banana bread and 1 box of blue berry muffin mix. I baked mine all at 375 degrees for 45 minutes and they came out perfect. It's nice to bake in a bag or box and have your gift ready to go. It's not possible to wash the bread pans constantly. I highly recommend them. I would love to see a holiday pattern offered.

I wish they came in different prints but other than they are sturdy, no need to grease the pan or flour it, just like a cupcake liner, you can dump you dough in them and they will bake, not sticking!
