If you are giving the baked good away, there will be no clean up. They can be used for any food item you plan on baking. The use is not limited to baked goods. They can be used for home made gifts.

Do you mean cakes that fall out of the pan without a lot of butter? Sign me up! I regret stocking my kitchen with these products. These are not easy to clean. Even after a good scrubbing, the silicone material seems to cling to it. The worst part is that if you run these through a dishwasher or let them soak in soapy water, the silicone material will absorb some of the detergent, giving a soapy taste to baked goods. Even after soaking the pans in plain water for hours, I still detect soapyness on the outside surfaces of my baked goods that were in contact with the pan. It ruins it. The issues that come with these pans are not worth the ease of use. I will be saving up money to replace all of the Boxiki Silicone pans that I bought, at least with the standard aluminum pans, I don't have to worry about my baked goods tasting of detergent, and I know a good scrubbing will get them clean.

I put the loaves on the wire rack. I only use the pans for this purpose, so I don't wash them after baking. I wash them once a month or so. I dry them right away. They cool down very quickly. 👤The person who wrote the blurb on this ad wrote that the pans were heavy duty sturdy. I thought they would be less flimsy. They were not. I am using them to keep different colored pens separated and each pan is at least half to half full of colored pens for my art work. Ben spills out a lot of the pens when I try to pick up a pan full of pins from my drawer. It was just an idea I had to keep my pens readily available. I am still upset that the ad was misleading and that the pans are flimsy.

👤I like the size of these pans. They are more narrow than the average home loaf pan. I think there is more sandwich sized. It allows for more slices per loaf and I love using it for quick breads. I have a couple of pictures of my old loaf pan for comparison. The loaf of banana bread in the new pan is a normal loaf recipe, and it only fills the pan about halfway. Everything I've made so far has turned out perfect, because I adjust cooking time. If you wanted a taller loaf or more serving, you could probably double the recipe in one pan.

I use 1 1/2 quart ice cream recipes, but I make my own as well as popular flavors. I need a 2 quart capacity when I add nuts or other add-ins.

👤I bought this in a loaf pan. The coating on this is sprayed on. It's a cheap loaf pan with a thin ceramic paint. There was a small chip in the paint that came with mine. I didn't think the pan was worth returning for, but it showed the low quality. The instructions say not to use metal utensils. If you still use metal utensils, like I did, it will scratch the pan and reveal the regular aluminum underneath. There is a bigger problem than the scratching I could live with. The pan doesn't cook evenly. The center of the bread is still uncooked after the maximum bake time has elapsed. I have to put the bread back in for another 10 minutes or so, depending on the recipe, because the center may never completely cook. I am left with a bad taste in my mouth. I baked the last loaf in the oven, which was the first place I left it to bake the center. The bread had taken on a cornbread-like density and the edges were rock solid. I need a new loaf pan because of this. The coating works well. I was able to remove the entire loaf from the pan and cut it on a plate, even though I still sprayed the pan. I'm used to cakes that stick with a lot of flour and oil. The pan does not bake well, so the one positive does not make up for it. I wish I'd gone in-store and paid more for a better one instead of choosing this cheap one.

👤I use this loaf pan as a humidor on my stove. Our tap water is hard, so this use is hard on pans. Each heating season, I need a new pan. Within 48 hours, this one developed a pin hole of rust. It is easier to serve on the side with a 1/2 inch difference from top to bottom. I was hesitant to order because it looked like the pan was different from top to bottom. I'm very happy I ordered it. It's what I was looking for.

It's over an inch deeper than my old pans, so the volume is made up. It is heavier. When I received my pan, I immediately made dinner. The dish was baked evenly, there was no threat of it rusting, and the clean-up was easy. I've baked in it many times. It is promising to be a sturdy pan. I can easily buy some for Christmas gifts if I recommend this highly.

👤I found out that my aluminum pans and cookie sheets may have been the better choice after I replaced them. These are shiny and easy to clean, but in some cases they don't work because I need high heat. It's low, say 350 degrees. I bake some breads at 480 degrees. It's not a question of whether or not to use stainless steel. I wouldn't trust them over a gas flame to cook casseroles or make gravy from a roaster pan, they can warp and scratch, and I could never use them under a Broil to crisp tops of casseroles. These pans are very nice, if you're careful about the temperature you use them at.

👤The pan is sturdy and well made, which is impressive. I chose this pan for it's deep sides because I bought mine for lasagne. I was concerned that sticking might be a problem, but it was not true. I used olive oil to prepare the pan and had no issues with it sticking. It seems to not conduct heat as well as other pans, so I had to increase my cooking time and it was still not quite right. I will figure out the proper cooking times for this pan since it seems to be the only deep pan in this size range.

👤This is a large pan with a steel frame. It works in my steam oven. The TeamFar is heavy. The weight was measured at 590 grams. There were no rough edges. For the very reasonable price, there is no indication of the grade of the steel. A refrigerator magnet did not stick to the bottom of the pan in my simple test. It is possible to remove the label.

👤Over the years, I have purchased many pans, some of which have ended up in the trash. This pan would be great for anyone's kitchen. It's easy to clean. You don't have to worry about the steel being damaged. I would have at least two or more of these in the cabinet if I still had children at home. It is the perfect size for brownies and lemon squares and if you use the paper lining, you don't have to wash the pan when finished. I would have liked to have found this pan sooner. The best size for casseroles is two.

I was so excited to find a good quality Pullman in this size (1 lbs) for under $20 that I hit buy now before looking through the photos that clearly show a vented style product. I baked a loaf using a combination of dark rye, whole spelt, and wholeeinkorn flour from the King Arthur Baking site recipe for an all-rye Icelandic Bread.

It releases like a dream after I paint it with Pam original spray. I wash it. It's a nice gift size loaf that you can give as a gift for dinner for two days worth.
