Best Baking Loaf Pans with Lids

👤I sell baked goods at a local farmer's market once or twice a week, and I was asked to supply an individual sweet bread. I was going to start with banana nut bread. I was looking for a small pan that would serve both the baking pan and the serving pan. I knew they would be perfect since they came with plastic lids. 👤These are good for baking cakes. If you want to bake in the pan at the same amount of time, fill about 1/3rds of it. They are adorable.

👤The pans are adorable and snap on easily. I broke one lid in the process of separating it from another, but they arrived in perfect condition. You will have to pull the kids apart in order to use all of them. I wanted a sanitary package to send my students home with after they made pumpkin bread. I like the festive red with dots. They take 3Tbs. Just like a muffin. I am so happy!

👤These are good for mini loafs. The package is cute. Can be used to cook in the oven. I don't know if it's me, but the bottoms are the same quantity as the lids. First, always run out of the lid.

👤This is a better deal than the Walmart website, where I almost bought them for the same price. In case of damages, they included a few extras. It could have been bad if it had been shipped in a mailer. Perfect little containers!

👤My daughter is going to bake banana bread for the bake sale. I was very excited about them. They worked well for what we needed. The packaging said not to put it in an envelope. Guess what it was in the envelope. My jerk off the postman put it in the mail box. We had damages. They included two more. I had 9 damaged. I don't know who would be responsible for the damage.

👤It was on time, the pants are small with a lid, which is rare, and they were easy to transport, but be careful not to squeeze them as they can bend easily, but you can put them back in shape.

👤This was bought right after Christmas. I use it weekly for sourdough bread. I cut a piece of parchment to line the bottom and cover the holes, and let the dough rise in it. Once the dough is proofed, I spray the top with water and slash it, put on the lid and pop it into a cold oven. After 40 minutes in the oven, take the lid off and let the loaf brown for another 10 minutes. Voil has a soft, moist interior. The baker I use most of the time is the EH Cloche, as it gives a loaf better shaped for sandwiches.

👤I have been making no-knead boule variant for quite some time and using large cast iron vessels to do so. I grew tired of having to manage larger cross cuts while serving or toasting to someone else. I didn't want to sacrifice the great crusting one sees from heavier vessels by changing to a metal loaf pan. The Emile Henry baker loaf allows for all the great characteristics of common no-knead methods yet simply shapes the bread into a more presentable presentation while also enhancing the crust and bake beyond what I have produced with any other baker. I debated for quite a while if the mold and additional crust quality are worth the spend, but I decided to go ahead and do it. The baker was packed in multiple layers of bubble wrap. This product and company deserve a good review.

👤I have issues that prevent me from giving this a higher rating. I could easily say 2. The dish has no handles on it, just on the cover. The inside of the cover is not glazed which I think is an attempt to lower the coat of manufacturing. The inside of the cover has a lip that is bowed and inconsistent. It bakes bread that is good, but I've used other less expensive breads as well. The booklet is written in French, which makes it useless to me.

👤I bought two of these pans because everything else failed in my oven. The loaves split on the sides. The crust was thick and sticky. When I saw these pans, I was ready to give up. I thought they were the perfect way to keep the fan from ruining my bread. The pans don't have much information on how to use them. I found that a few tips gave me the perfect loaves. I need 3.5 cups of flour and two packages of yeast for each loaf. When I put the bread in the oven, I preheat my oven and drop it to 375F. It bakes for 45 minutes to make a perfect sandwich loaf. When I take the loaves out, I use a quick read thermometer to make sure they're not too cold. The loaf has a flat top instead of a high rise. The initial heat is sucked up by the pan, and the lower heat keeps the crust thin and crisp. The pans are difficult to get out of the oven because they don't have handles. I had to learn how to get them out of the house without burning myself. I bake two loaves a week, and I am very happy with the results.

👤If you want to make pullman loves, this pan is for you. The well is large enough to hold a 1lb loaf. If your oven has hot/cold spots or heats unevenly, these must be taken into account. The bread will still slice without falling apart even if the flour/water ratio is medium high. The ridges on the inside hold greasing which is recommended for easy removal of the loaf. The bottom of the pan has holes that allow for proper air flow. Unless you have a loaf of bread that sticks to it and leaves a mark, washing with soap is not necessary. A thorough wiping with a paper towel is all the pan will need. If you want to try a pullman loaf, this pan is worth a penny.

👤The pan is big enough for a 2-lb recipe. The clean-up was easy and the seasoning pan worked. will be using for many more bread baking I use a sheet pan underneath the holes at the bottom for the small run-outs.

I go by the description. Don't order another if you need two. The lids are not sealed. They snap on. I think it's a good value for the money. The October update says that the lids are not good. Break at corners.

👤The containers looked nice, but the lid cracked in 3 places 35 days after I bought them.

👤I have used standard metal loaf pans that eventually rust, silicone molds that work well but are small, and finally this glass loaf pan, which is a tradeoff of flexibility vs strength. I bake cakes in these pans and have been impressed with the glass type. You can see how the bake is going around the edges, rather than just the top. I don't know what the lids are for. The instructions don't say that the lids don't come with a separate seal, so the company needs to look at them. It is possible that this is due to a change in manufacture or design, and possibly due to the factory being located outside of the company so that they don't check changes. I recommend this glass loaf pan for baking loaf-shaped cakes.

👤I got these because of the two pack and lids, and I don't regret it at all. They provided a nice bake on my bread and didn't break like other brands pics show. The small handles are not a problem, they are wonderful. Before putting them in the over, I recommend washing them and letting them get to room temp.

One pan fell from my hand and landed on the counter. There were no cracks. There was no chips. It is a solid set. Pans are dishwasher safe. I wash them.

👤I was looking for something that was easy to clean. Most of the bake products items that I have used are non-stick, but the problem with non-stick is scratches that can be caused when removing the item from it and may have the problem of layer mixed with food while baking. I used the glass one to avoid that and it worked perfectly. I was able to bake anything that I wanted and it was very easy to clean and no longer bothered me with scratches. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for easy handling and cleaning without causing food damage.

👤If I am careful, these will make meat loaves. I had a new Alcan brand aluminum loaf pan that I was able to use many times before tossing. I noticed they were lighter when I got them. The old Alcan weighed.6oz more than these. 1/3 less aluminum is used per pan. They will take care of themselves.

These pans are great for gifts because you don't need to return dishware. The perfect size for a loaf of bread. These are an alternative to your traditional loaf pan. I am now baking banana bread for everyone thanks to these wonderful bananas.

👤These are perfect for making breads and treats to give away. The first sweet breads I made in them came out better than my regular, non-disposable pans, which was one of the reasons I bought them in the first place, so I could just leave. Will be buying again.

👤If I use about 1/3 of my normal recipe, these will work. They are long enough and wide enough but shorter than a loaf pan from my local store. Grease may spill over if I overfill them. I will note that they would probably be okay. Fresh breads would become heavy with sourdough, if breads don't rise tall.

👤During the dry winter months, I put these on top of my radiators to fill them with water. I thought they would be easy to misplace the rest of the year. After two weeks, they all started to develop holes. If you use them as disposable bakeware, they are probably fine, but be aware that they are flimsy.

👤This is the right product for a loaf pan. Please read. I removed the product from the oven because it did not have the ends for grips. As a result, I ended up with 2nd / 3rd degree burns on my ankle as I lost the grip on the lower pan. Before buying another product, look at the lower pan. The depth of the pans is important. My kids called it a meat bar because it was so narrow. This product has all of the features, including safe lifting, depth for real meat loaf, no sides on the lift-segment, and proper slicing. If you bought this one, I would feel better.

👤I have had a number of 2 part meat loaf pans that allow the grease to trickle from the loaf into the pan below. The concept works well, I make killer meatloaf! I have had to replace the pan every couple of years because it starts to rust. I only buy items that are dishwasher safe and the pans I have had in the past weren't. I was impressed with how well this one came through the dishwasher. So far, so good! My limited cabinet space allowed me to fit my previous pan well. The pans were clean. The new one has wings that make it easier to remove the loaf from the pan, but the pan takes up more space than before.

👤I didn't like my meatloaf because the grease on the bottom of my pan made it greasy. I wanted a pan that could drain grease. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this pan, I wasn't expecting much but it was cheap. The pan is large and can hold a 2 pound loaf of meat, and it has a lift out component with holes in the bottom that allow grease to drain into the loan pan below. It's very easy to slice the cooked meat. The pan is easy to clean. The grease issue is gone and it cooks the meat thoroughly. I would like to see more space between the bottom of the pan and the insert. I've made 10 meatloaves with it and I'm very happy with it.

👤I am quite satisfied with the product after a number of uses. I love that there is room for the fats. The tray can be used to slide onto a plate for presentation. I use a spoon to run along the sides. This does not happen after a couple uses. I have left it in the sink for the night. Even though I won't need it, stock up on a few extra.

There were 25 of them. This is 50 pieces. 50 usable pans is not what it is. This makes each pan about $1 which is double of what I thought I was paying and a bit much to pay for very small pans. Just a heads up. You should read the fine print. There are 25 pans with 25 lids. Not 50 pans in total. If you like the quantity and price, go for it. They look strong enough to bake small loaves of bread.
