It is easy to think that you didn't receive enough lids, but before you become irritated, see item #1. The care that was given in the packaging is only surpassed by the care that the seller provides to the customer. 1. It is very easy to determine if you have been shorted when you count the lids, because the lids are notorious for sticking together. They are stuck together most of the time. The seller provides a link to a video on how to separate them without damaging them. 2. The tins were wrapped in bubble wrap to protect them from damage. There is a Just in case! 3. The seller will give you two extra tins and lids if there was damage. You read that right. You get 22 pans and 22 lids. They give you contact information in the event that something isn't right. This business will see me as a repeat customer because of all this.

👤I was going to give this five stars, but it didn't show up as described. I used all of them for quick bread loaves. The shipment had missing plastic lids. I double checked to make sure I didn't double up on a lid because they are thin. Customers loved that they were sealed so they could take them home. I wrapped the rest with plastic. Baking inside the aluminum containers was simple, just sprayed with canola oil, filled 1/2 with batter, and baked at 350F for about 25 minutes.

Why are the two stars? I paid more to get the mini-loaf pans. The pans don't fit the lids. There is no way to get a good connection because the lids are smaller. I used foil to throw them away. When I buy more, I won't mess with the lids.

I am using them to keep different colored pens separated and each pan is at least half to half full of colored pens for my art work. Ben spills out a lot of the pens when I try to pick up a pan full of pins from my drawer. It was just an idea I had to keep my pens readily available. I am still upset that the ad was misleading and that the pans are flimsy.

👤I like the size of these pans. They are more narrow than the average home loaf pan. I think there is more sandwich sized. It allows for more slices per loaf and I love using it for quick breads. I have a couple of pictures of my old loaf pan for comparison. The loaf of banana bread in the new pan is a normal loaf recipe, and it only fills the pan about halfway. Everything I've made so far has turned out perfect, because I adjust cooking time. If you wanted a taller loaf or more serving, you could probably double the recipe in one pan.

Maybe all 10 of them make a lot of bread? I missed the window while I was out of town. They seem sturdy enough and I haven't used them yet, so I can't attest to the actual quality. If you want to have a dinner party with 10 people, you can bake individual loafs of bread.

👤I used the 5 x 10 inch Calphalon loaf pans for the first time today. I wanted a loaf pan that was larger than the one I had, and this pan is actually 5" x 10". I made a wonderful oatmeal with additional grains. The sides and bottom were all brown. The pan was clean after the bread slipped out. No oil was used in the pan. Some of the reviews said the corner seams were hard to clean and held food. This may be true for a loaf of bread, but it doesn't seem to be an issue. Would definitely recommend.

I usually bake more than one loaf at a time, so I needed more than one pan, but I don't know if that's possible with these. We use a pan from Caphalon for brownies and loaf pans. It will last a long time. I have had my pans for a decade and they look new.

👤The pan was easy to bake in. I don't need to lower the oven temperature for bread loaves because it works great. The inside four corners are not tight. They have small gaps in the pan that make it hard to clean the corners with a brush, and water gets in and I can wash the pan without damaging it. I'm a little worried about food or water being trapped in there and possibly becoming a mold problem or rust. It works, but doesn't like the corners.

I bought these a year ago, but just used them again tonight, and was motivated to give a good word for them. The December 9, 2015 update is here. These things are great. I have made all sorts of loafs with just a bit of Pam and nothing sticks. They are a good value. You'll need to convince me that they do a better job than the higher priced pans will. Same deal on January 20, 2019. They bake things evenly in these pans, and haven't had anything stick in them. The pans are showing some signs of wear. It's great when something does it well.
