Best Baking Mats Silicone for Baking Sheets 8 X 11

👤The oiling of the pans solved my time-crunching dilemma. I forget to oil the pans before putting them in the oven, and they end up being stucky failures. The piping guide marks are heavenly because the cookies no longer expand and stick together like they used to. I pressed a foil sheet underneath the pan that I didn't have, and it bakes just fine.

👤This is helpful and I got it as a beginner. The mats are great, they are easy to clean and include a snapping bracelet type thing to roll and store. I just lay a piece of paper over the mat and see the lines through it, because I usually have extra batter after just 2 mats of shells. I have never had a piping bag like this before, but they seem really good quality, and I use a plastic bag with the corner cut off instead. I have used one of them 4 times and expected the end to tear it. It has held up. It came with 2 bags. I have a backup. The only thing I don't like is that the one included is small and takes a long time to pipe from.

👤I don't understand why customers give this a rating of 1 or 2 stars. I couldn't wait to use them. I made 4 dozen lemon cookies. The circles were the first thing that I liked. I was able to get a dozen on the sheet. There are more cookies per batches. They slid off the sheets without a problem. No sticking what you will. The ease of cleaning was the third thing. I rolled them with a rubber band and they were done. I read a review that said the quality was poor. Excellent quality. It's a great value, easy and can't ask for anything else. This item is worth every penny. There was no more parchment paper.

👤These are quite good baking mats. I baked the mats for 15 minutes at 400 degrees on each side to allow any chemicals to release. There was smoke. This is a normal occurrence. As I use them, I have not seen any smoke develop. These are working well.

I never had this kind of experience with Silicone products. It would not be a problem if we assumed. There is no email address for the company on Amazon. How can this be an Amazon Choice when it is flawed?

I use them daily and they look the same as when I bought them. You need these if you dehydrate liquids.

A great decision! We read reviews of similar brands. Some people had concerns about the smells or the painted trim rubbing off. Don't you like food neurotics? We have never experienced any of these issues with our use of both brands of mats. We wash them, dry them, and put them away for the next use. These baking mats work for us all the time. The brand of silicone mat performs the same as the former Silpat mats at about 1/3 the cost. You'll be happy to check them out for yourself.

👤I would not be without them for non-stick baking and having 3 means more production in less time for less money. These mats are indispensable in other ways. When I want a safe cutting board, I put one on a countertop, table, butcher block, synthetic, or wood, big and thick or small and thin, and lay it on top of one of these mats. No sliding, creeping or slipping on the cutting board! The cutting boards stick to each other. Safety, speed and frustration are gone! I put one on the bottom of a transport box if I have to drive a large baked item or pot or pan of product from one location to another. I have a reliable work surface when I arrive for finishing. You can put a pie pan over the dough and flip it over to eliminate the worry of tearing, which is always a concern when doing GF baking. A breeze to clean. It can be rolled, banded or stacked. A lifesaver in an active home kitchen is a real asset.

They protect my pans from wear and tear, and they've allowed me to cut down/eliminate aluminum foil. I don't like cleaning them, it's a pain. I've had success washing them in the dishwasher if you can prop them up just right so they get cleaned and dried from all angles.

👤These Bright Kitchen Silicone Dehydrator sheets are a good buy. They fit the Excalibur perfectly and make it easy to remove dried fruit from the sheets. Should have purchased them sooner. They are thick and go straight into the dishwasher. I wrap them with Saran wrap when not in use. This keeps them compact and ready to use. The Excalibur's plastic sheets are not meant for dehydrating fruits like strawberries, bananas, and sprouted grains. Who knew? My first attempt at eating fruit was terrible. It was very difficult to remove them from the net holes. Cleaning the nets was a job. I have pictures of how easy it is to remove the bananas. We are the same deal. It was dried into the net. It's as simple as putting the mats in the dishwasher. Adding time to drying is insignificant, but it is more than made up for by being able to dehydrate the fruit and grains period. I was ecstatic about these mats. I'm going to make fruit leathers for hiking, fishing, and work snacks. There are a lot of sprouted Spelt grains going right now. I just discovered the possibilities with my new mats. My Excalibur and mats make it easy to eat healthy. You will not be disappointed.

👤I like these. Someone was recommended on a channel. I had heard of this type of product before, but I was not impressed. I used aluminum foil to line baking sheets. Constantly using it and wasting money. These mats are a game-changer. I use them the same way I used foil. I roast vegetables on cookie sheets, make fries on cookie sheets, or cook anything else in the oven. You can rinse them or use a soft sponge. I mean quickly. I put them in a dish towel to dry and then they will be dry in the morning. It is a great thing to have. I recommend these to anyone that uses an oven.

👤They do their job. They've started to oxidize even when sitting on top of a baking sheet inside a Breville with a max of 450 convection. Not from cooking. They are harder to clean than other silicone. They still feel greasy after a number of different cleaning methods. We have other sheets that are clean and dry, but not these.

I love that they help protect my baking sheets by helping food slide off the non stick surface. It is also very convenient to just wipe them clean or put them in the top shelf of the dishwasher. You can cut off 1/3 of the paper towel roll to use as a holder, and just roll up the mats and slip inside the ring for easy storage of the mats in a drawer. I highly recommend them. We use these mats almost daily and I have had them for almost a year. They look brand new. I have not had any issues with mats becoming worn or staining. I use them to cook most items at up to 450 degrees but have not had any issues with them so far. I drape them over my cups in the top rack of the dishwasher and then when dry roll them up and slip a napkin ring or rings cut from and empty paper towel roll into a drawer so they fit easily into a drawer. These things are fantastic and have paid for themselves many times over in the superior non stick surface, ease of clean up and the cost of parchment paper and or aluminum foil I used prior to discovering them.

One reviewer stated that these are not good for use above 400 degrees F. The mat was smoking when I opened the oven after putting it in the oven. This was the mat itself, no oils or anything applied to it. I changed my review to one star and will be requesting a refund from Amazon. This is a danger. I've been trying to reduce my carbon footprint so I was looking for an eco-friendly alternative to aluminum foil to line my baking sheets. The mats were the ticket. They fit perfectly on my baking trays. These are even better than aluminum foil because I don't have to use oil to make them non-stick! I can cook even better. I will recommend this to my friends.
