Best Baking Measuring Cups and Spoons Set Cute

👤Unless you need metal ones, these are great measuring cups. They go through the dishwasher with a small chance of getting rust. They have raised plastic numbers for the measurements that won't rub off. Water won't be pooling anywhere because the rubber grips are securely fastened to the handles. The handle is made of plastic and not rubber. The storage loop is used to make hard plastic. The spoons are built to last a long time. There are some negatives to consider. If you don't like short handles, look elsewhere. The rubber grip makes them manageable, even though I am not a fan. While they are designed to stand upright, they are heavy compared to measuring cups that are squared off at the bottom. The handle is too heavy to tip over when empty. There is little change in tipping once you've filled it. These are cup shaped and taller than the traditional metal measuring cups. If you have shallow drawers, it might be difficult to fit them. You might be a bit anxious about banging the 1 cup size against a bowl or skillet to get the contents out. I've never felt the need to be careful around these cups.

👤This is a good product, but needs some improvement. The sizes are not the same as the rest of the measuring cups, so you can clearly identify them. The cups don't have a spout on them to make pouring out liquids easier, and it can be a bit messy if you aren't careful. The hole in the end isn't big enough to allow you to pick out only one cup or spoon, so you have to take them all off the ring to do it. I shouldn't have had to drill out the hole to make it bigger. I purchased a set of Betty Crocker measuring spoons and cups from Dollar Tree, but they had holes that were wide enough to allow you to select the spoon you wanted and remove it from The Ring, there was no different color writing on the spoon. I had to take a sharpie marker and go over the measurements because I bought the white spoons and cups from the dollar store. I use a black Sharpie marker. If you're looking to invest in a set of measuring spoons and cups, take my advice and make sure that the hole in the cop is bigger than the ring that they are retained by, so you can take one off. I know what to look for when I need measuring cups and spoons, but this product has some small flaws that bother me, but it is a good product.

👤I bought these for the spoons because it's hard to find 2 and 1 1/2 measures, which I often use. The spoon part is made of brittle plastic and would break if handled. The spoon handles are made of aluminum and are etched in both American and metric units. The cups have long handles that are up to 5 1/2 inches long. The length of the cup is 9 inches. The cups are made of thick plastic and have engraved measures in American and metric. I think this set would be great for cat or dog food, since the long handles make it easy to reach down into a bag or container, but I don't think it's practical for baking.

I thought engraved numbers would be the way to go because the painted measurements have been washed away. The engraving is very faint and hard to read. The engraving depth is so shallow that after a few uses, it would wear away. Returned for a reason.

👤The handles were punched out of steel, but they didn't bother to clean up the edges, so there is a lot of rough and small parts that are Sharp to the hands. I'm printing on my label maker. I'm going to clean the edges with my wire wheels.

👤Wow. I've owned many types of measuring spoons, but these are the best I've ever seen. They are made of a high caliber steel, which is much stronger than plastic or aluminum measuring spoons. They look great in my hands. The set comes with a ring that can be pinched open to release the individual spoons, if you so desire, and a picture of how to do this is on the box the set comes in. This set of measuring spoons has six different sizes and is very handy. They have a slim shape which can slide into narrow spice jars, unlike round measuring spoons. The measuring spoons would make a great gift. Each spoon is encased in a plastic wrapper to prevent scratching during shipping, and they come in an attractive box.

👤The spoons are not accurate. The cut was incorrect and therefore the hold was less than it should be. The 1/6th of an inch is too large. The spoons I bought were accurate. The Spring Chef and 1EasyLife feel cheap and easy to bend, but the Spring Chef bends more easily. I requested a return for the spoons. Doesn't make sense to have spoons that aren't accurate. Follow up... Customer service is awesome and wants to go above and beyond to make the customer happy. I was given a full refund and have changed my star rating to a 4.

I have noticed only two minor negative points, neither of which have anything to do with the actual measuring spoons, since I purchased them. Ignore them until you've had a chance to use the product and realize that it is very good and deserves a five-star review. There are two more The ring that holds the spoons together is not good. The weight of the other spoons pulls the ring open and the spoons you're not using fall free, when you use one of the spoons that's connected to the ring. That's okay. Either swap out the ring for something better or keep the spoons separate. The ring is a minor point, but they're a great product.

👤The measurements seem to be off. I used my older measuring spoons to measure the volume of each new spoon. I did not do this in a scientific way. I filled my old spoons with water to see if they would fill the same measurement as the new spoons. Each spoon had to have more liquid to fit in the rim. These will return.

👤These cups are rough approximations of US measurements. The 1 cup is printed on the cup as being 1 cup and 250 liters. The problem is that the cup is 236 liters. The metric measurement is larger than the US measurement, so if you check it, you'll see it's not the US measurement. The measuring cups and spoons have a problem. You can't get correct measurements using these cups.

The metal for the handles and spoons should be thinner. The metal is stamped from a sheet, leaving a sharp edge that would be appreciated, but the time taken to do so would make them more expensive. If you are already considering something nicer, keep in mind why you would choose one over the other.

👤I've had these for decades and they were purchased to replace the dented and dinged cups. Un packed them and was surprised by the weight. They feel good and sturdy. I put them in the dishwasher before I put them in the washer because they've never been used and they're already rusting. The grade is not high. I don't think they will last long as the spot welds start to rust.
