I give this a 3-star rating for a perfect instant pot fit, but will continue searching for the right material. I would like to revisit my previous review. When cooking oatmeal in a pot-in-pot within the instant pot, you need to let the oatmeal stay in the warm position for about 5 minutes after cooking to collect the water. The oatmeal did not stick in the pot after I did this. I didn't give myself time to experiment before writing my previous review.

I received the bowl I ordered from Bed Bath & Beyond. Their packing slip was included in the box. The price tag is in the bottom, which is more than $10 less than I paid. 👤I tried to like the bowls, but I was too excited to. I find myself saying words that I shouldn't say every time. These are bowls. I mix a lot. I bake for my family frequently. The first set I ordered had a defect in the black base grip part. I ordered another set after sending them back. The issue is here. The bowls are large. At the top, they flare outward. This is a poor design for a number of reasons. The wide brim is bad for cracking eggs. There is a thin spot near the pour spout that is okay for this task, but don't pay attention to it anywhere else. The bowls are a tad too shallow and a tad too wide, but probably the culprit is the outward flare at the top. The flour goes everywhere when I mix it. The sides should be straight up. I find it hard to be so careful, but inevitably whatever I am mixing ends up spilling out several times. It's too frustrating. The flared brim and an inch too shallow are the only problems with these bowls.

I've previously had issues with other sellers on Amazon for appliances, but this time they didn't have dents or damage. I needed a free 1 year warranty on the mixer since I didn't buy the one from Amazon. I used it for baking bread because I didn't have any missing parts and it was very strong and easy to clean. I always wanted a mixer and kitchen aid was out of budget, but this mixer is almost a steal for the price. If you are a baker like me, you'll need this mixer and you'll be happy you bought it.
👤Update. Accidentally ran one of the attachment through the dishwasher and it is now black and has a black powdery mess around it. I don't think it's safe to eat it anymore. It is difficult with thick dough. Don't run anything through the dishwasher, I love the mixer. I love that it is not too heavy for the elderly or children. It is sturdy, and does not smell like burning plastic, but it does have a new smell which wears off in less than a minute. It comes with the attachment, which I don't think many competitors do anymore, or at least not for less than double or triple the price. It is easy to use, even though the video shows the volume and ease of use. Moms know the convenience of anything that you can do with one hand, and this is it minus a few seconds here and there to put the attachment on and to close it. I'm excited to have this thing. I'll be sure to update here as well if anything goes wrong, I'd hate to lead people on to a bad product.

I'm worried that it will break the spring and pop up suddenly if I crank it up to three, because the neck starts bouncing up and down with a thick gummy dough. I hold the top down to make sure it doesn't snap when it gets really crazy. It's not bad for a first time mixer, it's just not as strong or durable as I hoped for, but for the price, it's great for lighter cooking, like pancake dough, eggs or other liquids that need mixing. If you want a stand mixer for pasta or dough, you might want to spend a bit more for something with a stronger neck. Is that what it is?

👤I have to update my review. I tried using the bowls for a fourth time after washing them and they still left a black oily mess on my hands. I don't know what is happening but I don't want to buy it. Even though I washed the bowls before use, I found an oily black substance under the lip of all the bowls and it was MzE I had to wash them again. I'm not sure if it was normal for bowls to be oiled. Have no idea. The mixer is terrible. It's small and hard to mix anything. It is loud. I used it to mix cake batter and it slowed down considerably even on the highest speed. The mixer emitted a terrible smokey smell after two uses. I'm not sure if I should use it again or just chalk it up to a loss. If you are looking for nice bowls and measuring cups, this is an ok set. If you only need the mixer, I would pick a different one.
