Brand: Wynboop

👤The product is likely to be in the $5 range. The color is the only good part. Does that matter if it stays in a drawer? Nope! It was very flimsy, louder than my old school vitamix blender. The fact that low speed is impossible is the worst part. Beware of all the one button mixers. If you put it on high, it will go all over your kitchen and outfit, and you can't take it out without turning it off. This product dooms you.

👤Will hold a charge for about 5 minutes. Send it back.

👤I found a cord that worked, but it did not have a package with it.

👤This isn't a KitchenAid mixer, but it works well if you don't expect much from it. I have a KitchenAid hand mixer and stand mixer, but they are in storage, because I am in a longterm temporary living situation. I got this little guy because I was tired of hand whipping cream and needed something cheap, small, light, and easy to transport. I have made a number of things, including whipped vats of cream, a couple of cakes, and a couple of meringues. I had no issues with the battery charge, and I really like the little foot/stand it has. You need a bigger bowl for those with splatter issues. I didn't notice anything different than any other mixer. The green is a pretty color. I would have liked to have purchased it sooner.

👤Even though I charged it hard to get it to work, it doesn't charge or run all the time.

👤When trying to shut it off, the speed increases each time you press the on of button. That can make a mess. Make sure you use a bigger bowl. The button is placed well and the handle is comfortable.

👤The low speed works well for what I need.

👤The mixer doesn't come with a cable to charge it.

2. Hamilton Beach 62682RZ Mixer Snap

Hamilton Beach 62682RZ Mixer Snap

Kitchen sieves are suitable for cooking, whisking, beating and stirring. You can adjust the kitchen mixer to fit any baking recipe with 6 speeds. The hand mixer has 250 watt peak power. The bowl rest feature allows you to rest the hand mixer over the bowl, so drips don't get all over your countertop. Attachments that are versatile: The traditional beaters and whisk are included in the kitchen mixer. The hand mixer has a snap-on storage case.

Brand: Hamilton Beach

👤This is not a smart purchase. I read reviews when I make purchases on Amazon, but rarely write them myself. You can see that the coating on the two blender heads is coming off in the close up photo I have uploaded. I noticed something shiny inside the cookie when I was eating it. I traced my steps to figure out what it was, and this hand mixer was the culprit. I'm pretty sure eating metal coating isn't good for you. The mixer attachment should be made out of steel, not chrome, as it's a kitchen appliance that's coming in contact with food and liquids. The whisker that comes with this is made of STAINLESS, and I'll continue to use that without any problems, because the manufacturer just tried to save some money by making it out to be made of STAINLESS. I only used the mixer once and used cookie dough inside a bowl. The chrome coating on the bowl came off because of the rubbing of the heads against it. It's not cool and should be taken off the market by Amazon.

👤The little mixer from Hamilton Beach exceeds my expectations. I like it because it serves my baking needs and doesn't take up a lot of space in my kitchen cabinet. I mix the ingredients to make cakes, brownies, muffins, waffles, pancakes, cookies, and dough for different breads. It works like a charm. It has 6 speeds and a burst button that adds a speed boost. It's easy to clean, and the best part is that the cord store makes it look neat and easy to use. The attachment and bin clicks on to the mixer itself for storage. It has a design at the end that makes it easier to put the mixer on the bowl. I thought it was pretty neat, and it keeps the bowl from tipping over and spilling everything. The tetris battle that I always lose is the reason for the attachment and cord to store together. You have to apply pressure to close the container. I haven't. I'm afraid I might break it, but for now the order that seems to do the trick is beater and whisk together then other beater across, pushed all the way down, cord and click. This hand mixer is a no-brainer for the price and function. It has been 6 months since I got my mixer and it is still working. Practice makes perfect, and now I don't have to keep all the cords. I have mixed batter for many things. The little mixer goes the extra mile. I am happy to use it.

👤The mixer had a broken case. No big deal. The product stopped working after 5 months. Hamilton Beach was contacted to replace a mixer. They said they would replace for free, but first they had to pay $11.49 for shipping and handling. The replacement of the mixer is not free because they are asking the consumer to pay for a new one, and that's why I wouldn't pay them. The first one only lasted 5 months, so why would I pay for another one? Don't buy from this manufacturer and go with another that will stand behind their products, they will last more than 5 mos.

Brand: Kitchenaid

👤My wife bakes a lot so I bought this mixer. She was using hand mixers. The load would burn out if the motors couldn't handle it. She was impressed with the power of the motor of the mixer, it was easy to get through the thick cookie dough. The spot welds at the tip that join the two pieces of beater broke after the third time they were used. She used them for another 6 months and then the weld at the base of the beater broke and it was useless. Kitchenaid makes a good mixer, but their beaters are garbage. The beaters that I bought for the $10 Proctor Silex mixer are made better and more durable. The mixer is awesome, but the beaters need work.

👤A hand-mixer with a slow speed is finally here. My mom has a mixer from when she was a teenager. When it's on the slowest setting, it slowly incorporates the dry ingredients. Every modern mixer that I'd bought had such high speeds that even the low one would blow the flour out of the bowl, making a huge mess. Higher speeds and the boost in power were not needed. It was frustrating for me to use this because I never found a bowl tall enough to hold everything inside. The mixer's setting is slow enough to be useful. I can mix the wet and dry ingredients with ease. I've only used this a few times so far, but I'm very pleased with the results. It is a pretty color and balances well when you need to set it down. When I looked at the manual, I was a bit sad to see that other models came with extra attachments, however after looking up, it seems that those extra attachments are compatible with this mixer. Since these beaters can be used for most things, I was reassured that this was the right model for me, since I might as well not pay for the extra attachments unless I need them in the future.

👤Not a good product. I've returned two of them. KitchenAid is no longer a quality product. I will not rely on their name again in the future. The mixer is not loud. It has a variety of speeds. They have a lot of pretty colors. The beaters are very flimsy. The beaters are not stable on two orders of the same model. Again, a feeling of low quality.

👤This thing couldn't make butter. It's really under-powered. Everyone had mashed potatoes the first time they tried it. The thing was going to burn up. I was the jacka** because it was a gift.

👤I bought this for my son and his bride. I used it when I went down for their wedding first person to use it. I ended up whipping cream for a dessert with their Ninja. I'm not in a position to arrange a return, but I would if I could. I apologized to them and told them to get rid of it. I will buy them another mixer since this is a worthless pile of plastic. I never thought I'd have to say that about a product. You can save yourself some trouble and disappointment by buying another hand mixer.

4. BLACK DECKER Lightweight Mixer MX1500W

BLACK DECKER Lightweight Mixer MX1500W

The design of silver and red is sturdy. The dimensions are 7.2 x 4.3 x 3 inches. 5 feet is the length of the cable. 5 speeds and a power boost. The mixer has an ergonomics grip for comfortable operation. The bowl rest is designed to sit on the edge of the bowl or on the counter. The parts are dishwasher safe.

Brand: Black+decker

👤The box says to wash your hands after each use.

👤I noticed my beaters were rusted after 2 years of light use.

👤The lowest speed on most other mixers seems to be the same as the lowest speed on this mixer, so the slowest speed could be slower by 1/2 - 1/3. I wish someone would come out with a mixer that was like the old days, where low was high and there was a difference between all levels. I don't need 10 levels where 6 of them are the same. I'd be happy with 4 levels with variation in speed between them. I wouldn't use it. I would prefer the beaters to have blades. I suppose it was clear what was included.

👤The last mixer I bought was 20 years old. This one is not very good. The beaters are larger than a standard metal clothes hanger and are very thin. I tried the beaters from my previous hand mixer, but the motor could not handle the extra weight. The blades fit. This is the worst B&D tool I have ever purchased. It is useless.

👤The lightweight makes a difference. I like my stand-mixer the best, but sometimes you need an extra mixer. The mixer is so light that my arms don't get sore, and the power-fullness surprised me.

👤The tongs are difficult to remove. It made a recipe with almost 3 cups of nuts, oatmeal, chocolate chips, flour and all the rest. I have had issues with this recipe using the regular, flat tongs, but these skinny, fast tongs are a clear winner. The last mixer I had had skinny tongs, but it was not as fast as this one. When I am done mixing, I have to take the mixer off because it feels as if I will accidentally switch it back on when I get the tongs out. I usually bring the mixer over to my husband to help him pull the tongs out, because he likes to help. I would rather do it myself.

👤This is the best mixer I have ever owned. It does a great job at all speeds, even though it is lightweight. The blades are easy to clean. The mixer is on the counter and does not fall over. I have arthritis in my hands, so it's hard for me to work a mixer, but this hand mixer has made it easier for me to do so. My hands do not hurt. This mixer has 2 thumbs up.

👤Black and Decker has a good reputation. I was expecting it to be a little bit stronger. The beaters are not as easy to use as other mixers. It does its job. I wouldn't return it. I don't think it's the quality of the name that makes it special.

👤It does the trick, but it's not cheap and the cord is stiff, which makes it hard to rest the mixer upright. The machine will fall over if you set the cord wrong. I use this a lot and need to rest it often. I notice the speeds change on their own, you could lose a power deal if you mix on high. I checked the power boost button, but I am not pressing it. I should have read that I prefer a push button release for the beaters, but I just assumed they all came that way, I have never had one where I have to manually pull the beaters off the machine.

Brand: Redmond

👤The mixer is fast and fast. The cake mixer is on the kitchen counter. You need to be very strong to remove the beaters. I can't release them by pressing the button. My husband had to remove them. I have it packaged for a return. I wanted other shoppers to know my experience.

👤I looked at the reviews and saw that they were great, but now I see people complaining about the number one setting being on five. This is terrible if you want to be covered in whatever you are mixing. I wish I could return it, it's the first time I've used it, and I wish I'd known what a waste of money it was. Any suggestions for a mixer that runs fast?

👤The speed is the only thing I like about this mixer. I knew it would be difficult to start, but it is. It serves my needs but wouldn't purchase it again and wouldn't recommend it.

👤I need a new hand mixer. Black Friday mixers were cheap. I bought a new house and felt like I needed some new kitchen items. I saw this one because I told the hubs. Red! Wow! Let's try it, I like it, had some goof reviews. The size of the box was great. It has 2 sets of mixers. It was used to make mashed potatoes. I would recommend this product if it had a case that held the attachment.

👤The low speed was too high for me. It is pretty powerful and well made. It's a little heavy. It depends on what you are using it for and whether you would like it or not. I need a stand mixer for small jobs.

👤It's a powerful mixer. After moving to the US, we were challenged to find a powerful kitchen appliance, but that seems to have been the case. It looks great with appliances in the same color. The button is bad. Some people might find out how it works and press it. I need to press it with both hands to get the beater tool out. We do liquid mixing in the kitchen sink because the beater tool seems to have a slight defect. It sprinkles some stuff around. We used to have a Kenwood mixer back home, but it didn't have that peculiarity.

👤The mixer is a good value. I like the power of hand mixers. I bake a lot of cakes and cookies. Stand mixer for bread. The beaters are too short. The batter for the cake and cookie dough makes a mess. Many reviews said the eject button was hard to use. The beaters drop out well if you press down at the top half of the apparatus. The middle will be a challenge. Hope this helps you! The beaters attach to the plastic parts and that is what causes the mixer to fail. It's so frustrating.

👤The mixer was well built and powerful. The fastest speed is too fast. I couldn't slow it down fast enough.

Brand: Wepsen

👤I liked the option that came with other things, I wanted a handheld cake mixer. My favorite items were the additional ones. It comes with 7 mixing bowls and I have many different sizes. There is a I had a Betty Crocker, but it is made out of plastic, so I could not measure hot liquids. There are 2 types of mixing parts and 10 different speed speeds.

👤The bowls have held up well. The mixer is missing a few settings, but it works fine. I would recommend it for the right price. The product is pretty good upon inspection. I have no comments on longevity because it just arrived. There is a The measuring cups, bowls, and spoons are very sturdy and I expect them to live. The mixer seems to not work on the first few settings. I'm pretty pleased with what we got.

👤The hand mixer is difficult to use. The low speed is almost as fast as the highest speed. The flour and dry ingredients are everywhere. I wish I hadn't bought this.

👤The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because the motor on the mixer burnt out. I was not happy with this because it happened when I was making a cake for my daughter. Bowls, measuring cups, and measuring spoons are great. The product was great.

👤You would think that the lowest speed would be slower than it is, because it is 7 speeds. I wouldn't buy it again. The metal bowls, measuring cups and spoons are what make this set worth the price. The mixer has 7 speeds, but they are all the same speed. The metal bowls and measuring cups and spoons are the only things worth anything. The mixer is not sanitary.

👤I have to update my review. I tried using the bowls for a fourth time after washing them and they still left a black oily mess on my hands. I don't know what is happening but I don't want to buy it. When I found this set, I was looking for a mixer. I thought this was a good deal because I could use the bowls. The bowls are sturdy. Even though I washed the bowls before use, I found an oily black substance under the lip of all the bowls and it was MzE I had to wash them again. I'm not sure if it was normal for bowls to be oiled. Have no idea. The mixer is terrible. It's small and hard to mix anything. It is loud. I used it to mix cake batter and it slowed down considerably even on the highest speed. The mixer emitted a terrible smokey smell after two uses. I'm not sure if I should use it again or just chalk it up to a loss. If you are looking for nice bowls and measuring cups, this is an ok set. If you only need the mixer, I would pick a different one.

7. VonShef 5 Speed Hand Mixer Accessories

The dimensions are 7.2 x 4.3 x 3 inches. 5 feet is the length of the cable.

Brand: Vonshef

👤I chose this mixer because of its good price point and it's attachment which is STAINLESS STEEL. I was very impressed with the product as a whole. The mixer is light and compact, which makes it easier to manage and store. The first speed is slow, unlike most mixers I have used in my life. Imagine mixing liquids without splattering. It operates at half the noise level of my old one. I can't say enough good things about it.

👤I need a hand mixer to make seven minute frosting, and a few other times when my Kitchen Aid stand mixer is already doing something else. The instruction booklet was for this product. It says you have to stop the mixer after 5 minutes. It won't work for me. Information about how long you can run the thing is not provided online. I'm on my second Kitchen Aid stand mixer after 40 years of baking, so I'll give their hand mixer a try even though it has those skinny little wire beaters. This one is leaving.

👤The mixer is cheap. The beaters started to rust after a few uses. The motor was burning out and it was struggling from the beginning. The beaters broke after less than 10 uses. Total waste of money!

👤I had a 220 watt hand mixer for 15 years and it did faithful service. I ordered this VonShef because I might not be in the US for very long and so should get something cheap and basic. Even at max, it gets up to half the speed of my old machine, but it's 888-282-0465. It smells! I will probably send it back because it is a piece of rubbish.

👤The first time I ordered this, there were no beaters in the box. They sent a new one. It made a big popping sound when I used it to whip cream. I thought it blew something. A big black powdery substance was shot out the bottom of the counter and into the whipped cream. There were broken pieces when I turned it off. I have never ordered anything from this company before and will not do so in the future.

👤I was going on a trip and wanted to make a cherry pie-cake. I needed to bring my own mixer because my host didn't have one. I didn't need to read the instructions to bake because this little hand mixer was easy to assemble. I used the mixer to mix the butter and sugar. It made the mixture creamy. I added 3 eggs and 3 cups of flour and it worked out. It was easy to clean up. Great product!

👤Fantastic mixer. The price and quality are great. There is a The beaters are made of steel. The VonShef Electric Mixer is a must have.

👤So far, so good. I have been using the electric hand mixer a lot and I am very pleased with it. It came with the beaters, hooks and whisk. I've used it for muffins, bread and cheesecake. There were no complaints about the different types of batter. The product is a great price.

Brand: Hamilton Beach

👤Not as seen on the picture. The picture has a kneading attachment. The attachment came in the pictures, which was the only reason I bought this mixer. Very disappointed. Wasted time and money.

👤It was a Christmas gift. The mixer was junk when it was in the box. It makes a loud noise and a burning smell when I turn it on. I was told I would have to go through Hamilton Beach when I tried to return via Amazon. I was told I could get a new mixer if I paid $11.49 for shipping. If the replacement didn't work, it would have to be shipped back and the replacement would have to be paid for. Hamilton Beach refused to waive shipping on a DEFECTIVE product that I have only used 5 times while Amazon skirted the issue with dates despite this being a product that was opened as a Christmas gift less than 2 months ago. There was a half star option for both of you.

👤A mixer that has a slow speed that doesn't throw everything out of the bowl is finally a thing. This is my 3rd try, with the other two having had 3 speeds, so I can really enjoy this one. It is still within reason, so I'm happy.

👤I bought this hand mixer to replace an old one that I bought a long time ago for less than $10 I liked that hand mixer. I owned it for many years and never had a problem with it. I wouldn't have replaced it if it weren't for the fact that the plug was accidentally submerged in cooking oil. I decided to upgrade to the Hamilton Beach mixer that had more speed options because I didn't want to risk a fire hazard. I liked the snap on this mixer because I was constantly looking for my beater attachment and I wanted it with me. I have to say that it is ok, not spectacular, after using it a few times. The carrying case is convenient. It's good for combining ingredients at a slow speed. I like that it comes with a whisk attachment, it's heavier than my previous mixer, and it's tiring my hand sooner than I would like. The front of the mixer has a dusting of cocoa powder or cinnamon on it. * The beaters are too close together, which makes it harder to remove the batter from the mixer, so I prefer the less expensive mixer I had before. I might consider buying something else.

👤I wanted a hand held mixer that would allow me to quickly mix and blend cakes and icing. The mixer did nothing of the sort. The blades are advertised as being quick to fall out. This product is garbage and you should not spend your money on it.

👤I bought this as a replacement for a high end mixer that had great reviews. The mixer cannot hold a candle to this one. The high end mixer was highly rated even though it was only a 3-speed. Well... I used it 3 times and bought it. This is the one to replace it. ! Power is powerful. I like the storage feature of the beater. Highly recommended.

Brand: Maryya

👤When my old hand mixer stopped working, I bought this one from the box, it was much lighter than my old one, and it was great for me since I have rotator cuff problems with my shoulders. I fell in love with the speed and power of this mixer, it blew my old one away mixed up meringue and whipped creams for pies in half the time. The attachment storage container that the mixer sits on is a great alternative to looking through drawers for utensils. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to anyone.

👤I ordered this unit to be used for a stand mixer for three months. I was very disappointed for two reasons. The unit is advertised as strong and has a "Turbo" feature. The problem is that it has two speeds. A low speed is needed when incorporating butter into a flour mixture. Light batter or butter can be used in flour mixes at the lowest speed. Real problem for cooks, some may want the speed. The body is pretty. The counter is rounded back corners so it can't rest on it. It can be rolled over to either side. It looks pretty but problematic. I'm not sure if I'll get it back as these are design issues and not faulty. It looks pretty, but not the cord. Fast but not useful. Sorry, can't recommend.

👤The blender sounded like a nice little hand blender, but there was no low setting. It has numbers one to five. You can't do anything low because the one beats a medium for cake mixing. You cannot blend butter and sugar without the sugar spilling all over the place. The video is slow. It's too late to return it and I wouldn't recommend it.

👤The first time I used this mixer, I realized that it was too rounded and I couldn't stand it if I wanted to add more ingredients. It's just getting used to a different design. The mixer is a good value for what it costs, it is light enough to be used comfortably, and sturdy enough to handle the job.

👤The low setting is manageable despite the fact that other reviews have implicated it. It sits on top of the unit because the plastic containers don't snap to it. It works great and has enough gusto to mix whatever I need in my home kitchen. Great purchase.

👤This is a great mixer and it is cheap. I have had more expensive mixers, but this really does the job for less money. I convinced one of my friends to purchase a product that I was very pleased with. It is easy to use and cost-effective.

👤I was hesitant to buy this product as it didn't have a lot of reviews, but all of them were 5 stars. The listing didn't have any warranty information. I was impressed with the customer service responses and the 3 year warranty that the seller offered. I decided to try it. I am a very light user, but I was impressed by how light and comfortable this mixer is. If the storage case would lock with the mixer, the only improvement would be the same. I have no complaints so far. I would recommend this product.

👤The rubber on the beaters is coming off, but I love the mixer. It's dangerous to have plastic in food. I contacted the company and they couldn't send me new beaters. The Hamilton mixer lasted 18 years without any issues. This mixer is expensive. I wouldn't buy a Breville mixer.

👤I contacted the seller and Breville to replace the part that was faulty. Neither was helpful. The rubber began to wear down after a month. Shame on you Breville! I had to trim off some of the black rubber on the beaters because I didn't want them to detach and get mixed in with my cake batter. I believe in spending the little extra for quality products, I wish the rubber around the beaters lasted a little more than a few months, the light and ease of changing speeds make this hand mixer wonderful to use. I will be contacting the seller or Breville and updating my rating after they reply.

👤Terrible. I am an avid baker. The beaters are not good. Replacements were sent. It arrived bent. Next one snapped in half. I had to throw a few batters and waste all of the ingredients because rubber peels off. Customer service is not good. The replacement beaters are no longer in stock. The whole mixer feels like a waste. I need to mail the current one back. I don't have time to go to the post office so I ordered this on Amazon. No thanks, Breville!

👤I really like this mixer. I used the double whisks instead of my old mixer to make my meringue. It's easy to operate, just move the wheel forward. I like the pause button because it allows me to add more sugar to my egg whites and then just press the pause button again to start again. I was worried the mixer would be heavy. I didn't notice it was heavy. I'm 61 years old and have some arm weakness. The rubber on the beaters worried me. I was hesitant to purchase this mixer because it looked cumbersome to use, but seeing them in person, I can see that they won't interfere with mixing, as they fit like a glove and glide easily along the surface of the bowl. I researched the 3 main companies and found that Breville has the highest wattage off all the mixers. I was ecstatic when I saw that Breville had a thumb wheel that was easy to use, because the buttons were hard to push, and I returned the Kitchen Aid mixer because it was hard to push. The mixer looks better than the website image. I was impressed with the box. The beaters and attachment are well made, and they are also nice. I'm happy with it so far.

👤I am a fan of Breville products, but this mixer doesn't meet their usual standards. The beaters have begun to peel off after 15 uses. I wouldn't have bought it if I had it to do over. Very disappointed.

11. Cuisinart HM 90BCS Advantage 9 Speed Handheld

Cuisinart HM 90BCS Advantage 9 Speed Handheld

Also, note: Before using the User Refer Manual on Technical Specification, be sure to read it. The Power Advantage Plus 9-speed hand mixer has 220 watt of power with automatic feedback and SmoothStart feature that eliminates splattering. The one-step power switch has a 9-speed display. Easy to use button, 1-touch speed control, dishwasher safe parts, and easy to store away. The included items are beaters, chef's whisk, dough hooks, spatula, instruction/recipe book and a sturdy snap-on case to store mixer and accessories. Refer to the user manual for questions surrounding warranty policies and the product is free.

Brand: Cuisinart

👤The manufacturer's photos showing the accessories nicely fitting below the mixer in the clear plastic container have been altered to hide the fact that the electrical cord must also share that same space. It's almost impossible to fit both cords and accessories in a storage container. The marketing department at Cuisinart had an electrical cord in their photos. I would not have spent my money on a plastic container if I had known the truth. The mixer works.

👤I love this mixer. The container that came with the mixer was not something I agreed with.

👤The mixer broke in 38 days. The gears will no longer hold one of the beaters and I will no longer be able to beat soft butter and sugar with it. Absolutely junk! I had to pay a huge fee for a mixer that lasted less than 6 weeks because I had to pay $10 shipping for a new one. Don't waste your money.

👤I can quote from their email. Thank you for your inquiry. If you have provided the information, your unit is within the warranty period and can be replaced. Shipping and processing fees are not included in our warranty. The shipping and processing fees for your new unit will be $10, based on your specific product. We want you to cover the cost of shipping the unit to Cuisinart. You should use a traceable insured delivery service. What do you get? You have to pay to have a mixer fixed if it breaks within months. No thanks to you.

👤I purchased this item on Amazon. I only use it occasionally for baking or mashed potatoes in the house. I used a Hamilton Beach mixer for 25 years without incident. It has more power and speed than my old model, but it has stopped working after less than 5 years of use. While whipping potatoes, the motor slowed down to a near stop, and then sped up to a speed much higher than the normal top speed. I stopped using it after it smelled like something was burning inside. The item is brand new. I'm not happy with the length of time this item worked, as well as the "3 year limited warranty." I will replace it with another brand.

👤I have owned the KA 9 speed hand mixer for over a year and recently purchased the 7 speed from Bed Bath and Beyond with their coupon. I thought it would be helpful if people were trying to figure out which one they wanted to buy. I think the best hand mixers are both of them. I can only prove that part by buying the Cuisinart. The first speed on the Ka is slower than on the Cuisinart. You have to remember that with the Cuisinart it starts off quicker when you just turn it on and it slows down, so hold it out of the bowl before you use it in the batter. The KA dough hooks tend to make a better bread or pizza dough than the other dough hooks, so I don't know why, maybe it's me? I don't know if the shape of the dough hooks, the dough hooks on the Ka and the ones on the cuisinart matter. The KA tends to work better for me in heavier dough. The KA has 9 speeds and the Cuisnart has 7. I haven't used the full speeds on either mixer. I tried to make whip cream with the balloon whisks, but they seem worthless to me. The regular beaters on both of them work better. I think the KA is cheaper online than on TV, but I usually use Amazon. They are good to work with in case of problems. I was able to use the 20% off coupon they always send in the mail to save on the Cuisinart 7 speed, the same as the 9 speed online here, which cost $59.00. I like the fact that I can go to the store and look at something first before I buy it. I think it works better with a heavier dough than it does with a quieter one. The 9 speed that they sell is very powerful and the 7 speed that I have is just as powerful. I got the KA in a beautiful silver color and I love it. The KA is more expensive, so I tend to go to the Cuart for less hassle, if my batter is heavier. I don't know if lonegevity means the Ka has a powerful dc motor, but those who know motors can tell more than I can. I hope this review helps someone decide.
