👤There were a lot of mixed reviews. I was nervous when I bought this but I didn't want to pay more than my competitor. I have been making bagels and bread loaves for at least a month. The mixer is great. I saw a lot of reviews that said it didn't rub the edge or get all of the ingredients. You don't want it to happen. Over time the motor wears out and the bowl is damaged. I have made 15 batches of bagels and 10 loaves of bread and have not had to stop the machine to mix the ingredients. Dough is very difficult to mix and this one has no issues. It is large. For those wondering, this is a full size mixer. People said that the materials are cheap and the pivot snapped. Incorrect use. The thing is made of metal. This isn't a cheap mixer. I can see how some have snapped this if you rock the head back and let it slam open and shut. It is not fragile either. I am pretty sure it is from people carelessly opening it and closing it. The bowl is large enough for full and double batches and the mixing attachment is coated so they are easy to clean. Don't let the negative reviews scare you. This has been one of the better mixers I have purchased in the past.
👤I had this machine for two weeks and I loved it. I have owned several brands of stand mixers and always follow the manufacturer's recommended settings. I take care of my equipment. I called Cuisinart to get a shipping label for the repair of the motor after it started whining and the head became stiff. They said I would get my mixer back working in 3-6 weeks. I was fine with a refurbished unit if it worked. The package was dropped off after 4 weeks. I didn't get a call or email saying something had been shipped. I was home. It was not stolen. I would have never known that the package was taken if I hadn't been home. The item I received after 4 weeks of waiting was damaged so badly that it couldn't hold speed on a 1 and was making a loud grinding noise. I was told to send the unit in again and wait 3-6 weeks. The agent warned me that they couldn't guarantee the next one would be any better and that they wouldn't send a new one. The agent said they were sorry, but they don't have contact with the warehouse, so they assume the refurbished unit sent would have worked fine. They can't say why it's not and how the next unit will operate. Conair, the company that owns Cuisinart, has a strict company policy against sending out new stand mixers. Stand mixers are not allowed to be replaced with new ones under warranty. I was told by several agents that even if I had multiple broken mixers shipped, they wouldn't send a new one to make sure I got a working mixer. I was told that the warranty is deducted every 3-6 weeks. Depending on the shipment time, a second send in would take up to 12 weeks. They had a mixer, but it's still against my coverage. It is assumed that other replacement worked. It will take another 3-6 weeks to rinse and repeat. The only other option I was given was a line of credit at Cuisinart for the amount I paid with Amazon to purchase one over the phone at Cuisinart for full price. I would have to pay the price difference plus taxes and the shortened warranty period would still apply. Currently, Cuisinart charges $199. I paid for it on Amazon. In a call with an Amazon agent, Cuisinart confirmed this. They wouldn't budge on price or send a new mixer under warranty. I bought the Asurion protection with this item. Even if they weren't cooperating, Asurion couldn't step in until the entire warranty had expired. The protection plan is 2 years and the warranty is 3 years. I didn't know Asurion had a policy. I called Cuisinart many times. I had one of their agents laugh at me multiple times when I called about a broken replacement, and when I wanted an update during the 4 week period. I was hung up on. The agents were more interested in playing with each other than paying attention to their job. I waited on the phone for 45 minutes and was told to email their customer service because they couldn't help me over the phone. It was worse to email Cuisinart. It took over a week for a badly written response to be sent, and I am positive it was a bot. Each representative said they couldn't help me because they couldn't see my history. I had to repeat what I had said the first time I called. I reached out to Amazon Customer Service in desperation. They were able to resolve the issue within a day. It's going to be returned without a fee. My normal return period had ended because I had this mixer for so long. Amazon was very kind to back me up after I spoke with Cuisinart. They helped me get my Asurion protection refunded. I'm not sure if they did this because I bought it through them or because I used my Amazon credit card, but I'm very grateful. Thank you for your AMAZON customer service! You went above the call of duty to help. Thank you so much! If anyone got to the bottom of the long review and is still looking for a mixer, try Bosch. It's more money, but what a wonderful mixer. Their customer service is top notch. It's also made in Europe and here in the U.S.

👤I thought the mixer was good, but it turns out it's not. I was wondering why the mixer is light, but I realized it was made with plastic. The mixer can't evenly mix. It's not worth the money. It's poor made and design. Returned the product.
👤I like the size of the bowl, but it is flimsy and not a good quality bowl. The housing is made of plastic. When I tried to mix a box cake mix, the beater left a lot of dry ingredients around the bowl and on the bottom. I had to mix it myself. You get what you pay for. This one is leaving. I got a different machine from everyone else who gave a good review. Maybe it's okay for a 10 year old to learn.
👤I should have known better to buy a mixer for under $200. It was thought that this would help us speed up our batches by being able to triple them as opposed to only tripling them. The beater doesn't come close enough to the sides or bottom of the bowl to properly mix. Their customer service was quick but they said all their products are this way and they can't help us.
👤I've wanted a stand mixer for a long time. I'm trying to make this one work for me. It is disappointing so far. The sides and bottom of the bowl are where the attachment is not allowed. It was put on the second to highest speed to cream softened butter with sugar and eggs, and still had some results. I cannot close the top with the splash guard on because it does not fit properly. I can't use the splash guard. The top is bulky, and I can't watch ingredients being mixed because there is only a small gap between the top and the edge of the bowl. This doesn't mean that the attachments are in the space. They are rotating around the middle. I have to lift the bulky top to get to the sides and bottom of the bowl. I'm considering returning the mixer. I am starting to believe that it is not lack of experience on my end, but rather poor quality that is at fault.
👤Everything else is good, but the large bowl is easy to clean. The large bowl of the mixer is described as powerful enough to mix large batches of dough. I was looking forward to making many batches of cakes and cookies. I had to keep mixing by hand since the attachment on the bowl doesn't reach the sides or bottom of the bowl. It was useless for making cookie dough. The mixer shut itself off when the paddle wouldn't turn the dough. The dough didn't mix when I tried it with the dough hook. The dough was pushed to the side of the bowl after it made a well. The bowl shield doesn't fit properly so the mixer won't lock down and jump around since it's not locked. As long as you mix everything on the first speed, the shield isn't really needed. It would be a good mixer for someone else but not for me. I will return it.
KitchenAid stand mixers have the same mixing action. The tilt-up head design of the mixer makes it better than the 2-beater stand mixer. Baking with ease: mix thick batters and doughs with a powerful motor and you can bake with ease. The bowl coverage is complete. No work was needed. Excellent results can be achieved by mixing hands-free. The mixing rotates the beaters around the bowl. The mix includes splash guard, dough hook, whisk and flat beater. To clean the stand mixer, wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge. Go from a slow stir to a fast mix with exact control at each setting. The guide at the top of the mixer lets you know which speed to use. The KitchenAid trademark does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by KitchenAid or Whirlpool properties.
👤I am an avid cookie baker and my kitchen appliance died. I needed a mixer for the holidays, but I was unhappy about that. I can make 12 batches of cookies and 2 batches of bread in a day. I was impressed with the overall appearance of this thing. The chances of getting flour in the assembly are low because it appears to be well covered. The mixer will be more difficult to service. The assembly is lighter because it feels like plastic. The top of the mixer has a speed guide. There are cups on the bottom that keep it from rattling. The head lift is a mechanical button, not a fan, especially with chocolate chips, because it can get a bit tight. I can only do one batches of cookies at a time, which is lousy, but workable. It came with a guard, which was great, and saved me hours of cleaning. I like this machine more than my kitchenaid, and I hope it gets more traction in the market.
👤I bought this for my wife because I thought Hamilton Beach would be a cheaper brand. After reading reviews, I decided to go with KitchenAid. There were many good reviews, but also some negative ones that included the plastic hinges breaking so that the mixer couldn't be lowered into the bowl and snapped to stay down. This happened after the fifth use. My wife made some peanut putter cookies. The mixer is being held down. She heard a loud snap, the unit started shuddering, and the mixer came apart in two separate pieces. The white cord held everything together. The metal pieces were upright. We are still in the warranty period and hope the manufacturer will replace this unit with a more sturdy one. I will update this review once I hear from the manufacturer.
👤I've never owned a stand up mixer, but with the costs of Kitchenaid mixers, I've been hesitant. I tried it because of the good reviews and the better price. I've made cinnamon rolls and challah bread. The dough hook made kneading easier. The fan is big, like the cups on the bottom. The bowl is easy to clean and slippery.
👤I am very disappointed in this product. It seems like it doesn't seem to be that durable. The mixer was shaking violently when I tried to mix it up. The shield guard is useless. It has a small opening in the middle of the room to add ingredients. I had to stop the mixer and tilt the head to make sure the beater was not in the way when I wanted to add more ingredients. The bowl is small at the top. You only get one bowl. You can't use a regular bowl in my cooking and baking needs. I couldn't find them online. The mixer wouldn't start. The thing won't go when I mix a receipt. I tried to plug it back in, but it wouldn't work. I will be returning a product that doesn't work. It was a disappointment.

👤Unless you want a thing that vibrates your countertop, don't buy this. Doesn't mix your ingredients. It doesn't come anywhere near the bottom of the cup.
👤The container shows a picture that makes you think it has standered paddles. It is a little round thing. The picture makes the mixer look bigger than it is. The only thing we like about it is its color, that's why we gave it a one.
👤There is a reason why it is so cheap. It doesn't mix well at all. Returned it. If you are a serious milkshake maker, spend the extra money and get a Hamilton Beach. My kids use peanut butter and cookie pieces, but it didn't mix well.
👤I was unsure if it would do the job after reading some reviews. I was happy to see that the mixing disk is made of metal, and the motor has plenty of power. It works well and looks good.
👤I had an old Farberware that I wanted to replace. The new one is easier to use than the old one. The cup would come off if you didn't get it right. You can move it up and down by pressing a button. It's very easy to clean by wiping it off or putting water in the glass. It makes a good thick shake for my diet shake.
👤This is great! It was simple to use and made a great shake. It is mostly made from plastic, but not a problem for me. It's not the best if you make a lot of shakes at once, but it's great for a small family or couple. The back has a switch that controls the speed. Then you put the cup in and it turns on. I had to wiggle my cup for a short time to get it smooth, but I think that is normal. It is great for what it is.
👤It does what it's supposed to do. There is no way to remove the mixing blade for cleaning. The button to raise and lower the head is not where I would expect it to be. That's just me. I find that it makes nice shakes when I use it frequently. I believe that thick shakes have more ice cream. It makes nice shakes if you put enough ice cream in the cup. One thing. It would be great to have a second cup to clean the mixer.
👤The mixer plate came off when I used it. It was very cheap. Very light. The color is beautiful.
👤This is like a child's machine. The spinning thing is too small to mix ice cream. We end up with a lot of milk. I can't ship back as I don't have the packaging.
👤If you want to make a milkshake with milk and ice cream, you need a cheap weak motor. If you only do syrup and milk, it will work because ice cream can't handle it. My blender is 10 times better than it was a few years ago, and can make ice cream, frozen fruit, and shakes, if you want to, because it's a cheap weak motor inside.

👤I did a lot of research. I had a budget. My husband wanted to bless me with a new mixer, but he said he couldn't get me a Kitchen Aid at this point. The challenge was accepted. I didn't know we had other options besides a Kitchen Aid. I am very happy with this model. My Aucma handles my mixing needs. It is light weight. My husband was impressed with the splash guard. It is easy to disassemble. The parts are easy to clean. I know when I forget to plug it in because of the turn dial. My husband was impressed with how quiet it is. I waited a few months to make sure my love was lasting. It fits under my cabinets when not in use. This product is very good.
👤I was looking for a quality food mixer to replace my handheld one because I was tired of holding it for too long. Big brand mixers are always more expensive. I looked at this and it fits my budget. I believe I made the right choice after several baking projects. The food mixer is built with quality in mind. Sturdy materials are expected to last longer. The motor is very powerful and you could hear it in the video I took. The control is easy to use. The parts are easy to clean. I don't want to pay for other brands that have fancy features, as I rarely use them. I'll be happy to try it out for more baking projects.
👤It was easy to clean and the speed settings were great. The only complaint I have is that only 4.5-5 quarts of the mixing bowl is usable, as the mixer attachment goes down into the bowl leaving some of the top of the bowl unusable. It can easily handle a few lbs of thick dough. The price is definitely unbeatable. I had a small issue with the mixing bowl handle, support was quick and I was fixed right away. I was surprised to see how professional they were, even though they were cheap.
👤I was excited to get this mixer. Quiet and stable. Everything about the mixer was great, until I washed the beater in the dish washer, which was chrome or stainless steel, at least in appearance. The metal underneath bled black and looked like lead. I don't recommend the purchase because it's not selling.
👤I've always wanted a mixer for the bakery. I was scared off by those expensive mixers in stores. The perfect solution is this guy. It has all the functions I need from those expensive ones. It has three beaters from light duty to heavy duty. The speed can be adjusted. The speed knob is cool with a blue backlight. I like how easy it is to use. Plug in and turn the knob. It's all over. There was no chance to make a mistake. I can bake with it because it's a 600W+ machine. It's the right power for a family. Just tilt the head and open the bowl. It's easy to clean. When this monster is running, you can hear something but it's not unpleasant. It love it!

Dough Hook, Whisk and Flat Beater are included. The three Attachments are dishwasher safe. The use of the Kitchenaid Trademark does not imply any association with or endorsement of Kitchenaid or Whirlpool Properties.
👤I don't like to review things until we own them for a long time. We purchased this gift as a present and it ended up being duplicated. We already own a KitchenAid so I held on to it thinking it would be a good Christmas gift, but was surprised when I opened it a few weeks later. I tell people that if they need a KitchenAid, they already know it, and if they don't, I'd buy one of these. It's smaller, easier to store, and a bit quieter, probably due to being smaller. It has the same action as a KitchenAid. It costs less. It has been able to handle the stiffest of doughs and stickiest of batters. The KitchenAid bowl is narrow and tall, which means you have to stop the mixer and tilt the head to get to the sides of the bowl, but this is only mildly annoying. The KitchenAid paddle mixer is metal while the plastic one hasn't presented any problems. I've had no trouble making dough in the Hamilton Beach, even though the KitchenAid dough hook seems more substantial. Attachments don't support it. If I just need to mix something, 80% of the time, I'm getting out the Hamilton Beach mixer and not the KitchenAid. The KitchenAid doesn't offer any advantages for basic mixing duty. I'll pull out the KitchenAid if I need to grind meat. If I want to make pasta, I prefer the Hamilton Beach. The reason I compare it to KitchenAid is because they seem to be the standard when it comes to stand mixers, but if you're just mixing cakes, cookies, bread, etc., give this model a serious look, it's been great so far.
👤I don't want to invest in a stand mixer. They are very expensive. My son spent a fortune on one for his girlfriend. I need to make my own things if I want to be a gluten free person. I can't make decent breads without a mixer. After a lot of looking at different brands. I chose this one. I am very happy with this mixer. It works well. I have to use a lot of stiff recipes. The mixer can do the job. I rely on reviews to make purchases. If you find my work helpful to you, please click yes for me. Thank you! Feel free to ask any question.
👤Black soot is coming off the dough blade. We would have eaten it mixed into the dough if we had not noticed. Don't buy this product.
👤This is the third mixer that I've purchased from Amazon. The first Bodum stand mixer worked well until it broke. The second model, a two beater model, has survived, but as much as I wanted to like it, I found that it just didn't mix well and required me to move the bowl manually and otherwise fiddle with it constantly. I knew it was time to replace the Sunbeam when I found myself reverting to using an ancient hand mixer. The Hamilton Beach was put through its paces today. I made a bunch of bread dough with 5 cups of flour. The upper limit of the mixers capacity was definitely reached here. The motor overheated when the dough was finished. I thought I had broken it. The mixer recovered in the time it took me to wash the dishes. I made half a dozen reverse-creamed cup cakes. The mixer performed well and didn't need a lot of bowl scrapers. I made half a bunch of ermine frosting and it was the same as before. The last thing I made was yeast rolls. I used the dough hook instead of the flat beater and the dough came together quickly. So far, so good. I'm not too worried about how long this mixer will last because of the low price and the four- year product protection that I bought for it. It was inexpensive and I wish it had a bigger capacity. I have used a friend's Kitchen Aid on a number of occasions, and I would say that the Hamilton Beach is a bit better at this price point.
The design of silver and red is sturdy. The dimensions are 7.2 x 4.3 x 3 inches. 5 feet is the length of the cable. 5 speeds and a power boost. The mixer has an ergonomics grip for comfortable operation. The bowl rest is designed to sit on the edge of the bowl or on the counter. The parts are dishwasher safe.
👤The box says to wash your hands after each use.
👤I noticed my beaters were rusted after 2 years of light use.
👤The lowest speed on most other mixers seems to be the same as the lowest speed on this mixer, so the slowest speed could be slower by 1/2 - 1/3. I wish someone would come out with a mixer that was like the old days, where low was high and there was a difference between all levels. I don't need 10 levels where 6 of them are the same. I'd be happy with 4 levels with variation in speed between them. I wouldn't use it. I would prefer the beaters to have blades. I suppose it was clear what was included.
👤The last mixer I bought was 20 years old. This one is not very good. The beaters are larger than a standard metal clothes hanger and are very thin. I tried the beaters from my previous hand mixer, but the motor could not handle the extra weight. The blades fit. This is the worst B&D tool I have ever purchased. It is useless.
👤The lightweight makes a difference. I like my stand-mixer the best, but sometimes you need an extra mixer. The mixer is so light that my arms don't get sore, and the power-fullness surprised me.
👤The tongs are difficult to remove. It made a recipe with almost 3 cups of nuts, oatmeal, chocolate chips, flour and all the rest. I have had issues with this recipe using the regular, flat tongs, but these skinny, fast tongs are a clear winner. The last mixer I had had skinny tongs, but it was not as fast as this one. When I am done mixing, I have to take the mixer off because it feels as if I will accidentally switch it back on when I get the tongs out. I usually bring the mixer over to my husband to help him pull the tongs out, because he likes to help. I would rather do it myself.
👤This is the best mixer I have ever owned. It does a great job at all speeds, even though it is lightweight. The blades are easy to clean. The mixer is on the counter and does not fall over. I have arthritis in my hands, so it's hard for me to work a mixer, but this hand mixer has made it easier for me to do so. My hands do not hurt. This mixer has 2 thumbs up.
👤Black and Decker has a good reputation. I was expecting it to be a little bit stronger. The beaters are not as easy to use as other mixers. It does its job. I wouldn't return it. I don't think it's the quality of the name that makes it special.
👤It does the trick, but it's not cheap and the cord is stiff, which makes it hard to rest the mixer upright. The machine will fall over if you set the cord wrong. I use this a lot and need to rest it often. I notice the speeds change on their own, you could lose a power deal if you mix on high. I checked the power boost button, but I am not pressing it. I should have read that I prefer a push button release for the beaters, but I just assumed they all came that way, I have never had one where I have to manually pull the beaters off the machine.

👤I was looking at the KitchenAid mixers for a long time but stumbled upon these killer dupe mixers. The cost savings were obvious after comparing technical specifications. It's flawless and I've been using it for 2 months. Don't hesitate on this purchase. It's a great quality, powerful mixer that doesn't heat up on challenging mixes, and has a shield so you don't get hit with flour bombs while mixing. A number.
👤I like the product. It's easy to set up, work with and clean. The video has flour for bread. It took almost 30 days to get to me.
👤The mixer is easy to use. I use it to stir cake and flour. It is said that it can stir the meat, but I have not used it. It has three mixing heads that need to be replaced. It gave us a lot of strength and time.
👤The kitchenaid was too heavy and awkward for me. I gave my daughter my kitchenaid because this was the better one for me. I live in this cusimax. For simple jobs it is perfect, and it fits my kitchen much better. I love how everything comes on and off. It was difficult to remove the heavy equipment.
👤I bought this mixer because I love baking. My co-workers love me because I use it so much. The attachments are easy to clean. It mixes well even in the bottom and sides. It's not that expensive. It gets the job done.
👤We use it every day since we got it a year ago and it works as we expected.
👤The mixer is a great value. It is easy to use, and seems to be durable. There are cups on the bottom to keep it upright. The controls are easy to use. There is a button on the top of the mixer that can be unlocked to take the bowl out. I have beaten eggs and mixer dough. I think this is a good idea.
👤I have been using this product for a while. It is a better mixer than the one I bought before. The design is great. It is easy to install and clean. Also, user-friendly! My mother is also able to use this. I am very satisfied with this product.
👤The machine works well, but the finish on the paddle doesn't stay on it. My mom noticed silver particles in the cookies after making them all day. The paddle left grey stuff all over our hands after it came off. I think all the cookies need to be thrown away. The picture attached shows the paddle is almost black or dark gray after being used. It was a long day of work down the drain. It's great to get a return for both machines, but be aware.
👤The mixer has all the features of a stand mixer in red. If you did it by hand, it would take 20 minutes to prepare sandwich bread dough. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a heavy duty mixer.
If you received a faulty item or have questions, please contact them. They will try to help you and give you the best service. Two-in-one. The lightweight hand mixer can easily be detached from the base to tackle any baking recipe. You can mix with ease, because the kitchen mixer has a peak power of 295 watt and 6 speeds, plus Quick burst. The bowl rest feature allows the hand mixer to sit on the edge of the bowl to eliminate messy drips. The bowl can be changed for thorough mixing. The bowl is large enough to fit into your dishwasher, and it comes with a hand and stand mixer. The kitchen mixer set has many different attachments.
👤I write good reviews about products I buy, use, and wear. I wanted a budget version for a cooking class, but I was not ready to buy a Kitchenaid because of the price, so I got this one. The quality of the beaters was not great, the mixer was loud and messy, and the flour was all over the place. I had to use my old hand mixer because I couldn't remove it from the stand. The bowl was the only thing that I liked and I returned it because it was useless.
👤It is supposed to be a stand mixer. You don't learn anything until you open it and read the manual, and that's because you're not supposed to use the dough hooks while using it as a stand mixer. You're supposed to hold the mixer in one hand and a bowl of dough in the other, and use it to knead the dough without either one being wrenched, or dropped, to the floor because bread dough is very stiff. It was useless. I own a hand mixer.
👤I only used the mixer twice to make pizza dough. When the switch is on, the mixer gets warm. I expected more from this brand and will be requesting a refund. I don't recommend this product.
👤I noticed a few annoying problems when I used this for the first time. I had to remove the bowl and use it as a hand mixer because it didn't seem to want to rotate the way I needed it. The attachment didn't want to stay in the correct position. When I tried to make a frosting with it, it began to emit a burning plastic smell, and shot out a few puffs of smoke. I immediately turned it off and went back to my old mixer. I bought this as a starting stand mixer for my home bakery business, and have a few other Hamilton Beach products I've been very pleased with. It's going back and I'm very disappointed.
👤Make sure to check your mixer pieces. I was washing mine and the metal was falling off of it. Thankfully I checked before I used it. I tried this mixer out to see if it was worth it, and it was crazy. I tried it on some cake batter and it was crazy and smelled like burning electrical... save yourself the time and money. It isn't worth it.
👤We knew that the mixer would be returned when we took it out of the box. The beaters were small and flimsy and the whole thing was made out of plastic. We decided to try it out. It was confirmed that we would send it back. The cake batter never got fully mixed, and the beaters did not reach to the outside of the bowl. Amazon has an easy return policy.
👤The product is pretty good. It is missing a way to lock the bowl in place. It spins with the mixer. When you turn your back on it, it speeds up and flings whatever you were mixing in a beautiful circle pattern all around your kitchen. It's hard to clean under the spinning wheel. The mixer part works well.

👤I am running out of space in my kitchen and I have three separate appliances, a mixer, blender and a large manual meat grinder, and I was looking to replace all of them with one appliance. I looked at a lot, but I found this one, which was exactly what I was looking for, and I could not believe my eyes. I have never seen a mixer with a blender attached to it. Everything about this mixer is high end. The mixer has a large motor and a bowl that is large. The mixer attachment are easy to push on and push off, and they stay on even through the most rugged mixing. The splash plate seals well when it comes down, where my other one always had gaps. I was amazed at how well this one kept everything in the mixing bowl. Everything here uses the motor speed dial, and all of them have an incremented increase in speed. The blender is made of glass. It can blend down my fruit into liquid when it's on speed six. The other thing about the blender is that the top pops off, the bottom screws off, and that is something that my other blender does not do. The meat grinder is a big upgrade for me. This one grinds meat quickly. I do a lot of veal and lamp. It is fun to use this one, where it works so well that I don't want to stop. The meat grinder is easy to clean. The plate, blade, and gear all come out with a screw on the front knob, and I just throw them into the dishwasher, without any harm done. This is the best multiple appliance I have ever seen and I am very happy with the purchase.
👤Last month, the KitchenAid decided to go to the great kitchen in the sky. I didn't want to buy another one at that price because it was a wedding gift. I think that's correct. The all-in-one mixer takes the cake. I was impressed by how easy it was to do. I didn't have to look at the booklet to figure out where everything went. I thought the lock/unlock made the mixer stronger. It's very user friendly. The splash guard is useful when you're working with flour, and the cups on the bottom make sure this thing never budges, whether I'm making a margarita in the back or processing some deer steak in the front. The mixer is a boss. It has handled my sourdough loaf, chocolate chip pumpkin cookies, and homemade meringue. The motor is not loud and it doesn't feel like an airplane is taking off in the kitchen with you. It's easy to take everything apart and clean it up. It's a good thing that there's a tilt head feature that can remove the bowl. That's right.
👤I wanted to use all the attachments before I posted a review. The base has cups that work well. I have made bread that didn't move even though it was heavy. The mixer is a lot less messy with the lid on. The dough hook isn't stick to a point, and hasn't caused me any issues getting it clean again. The large whisk is shaped to reach the bottom of the bowl for evenly mixing and incorporating air into the ingredients. The paddle is non stick and can reach the bottom of the bowl. The sides need to be removed like any stand mixer, but I won't hold that against the mixer as it's a normal issue. I expected the blender to be light in weight. It's made of thick glass. The bottom doesn't come apart for cleaning. I put ice cubes in it and it handles them well. If you want a Vitamix style blender, this one isn't that powerful, but it still does a great job. The meat grinder was my favorite part. The parts are heavy duty metal and come apart for easy cleaning, that pressed me as I was unpacking it. I'm trying to eat healthier, and recently discovered I love the flavor of ground chicken, and have mostly replaced ground beef with it. The meat grinder allows me to control what is in my meat and to season it however I want. I can make ham, chicken, or bologna salad in less time than it takes me to do it by hand. I am very impressed with what it costs. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a KitchenAid mixer.
