👤My wife bakes a lot so I bought this mixer. She was using hand mixers. The load would burn out if the motors couldn't handle it. She was impressed with the power of the motor of the mixer, it was easy to get through the thick cookie dough. The spot welds at the tip that join the two pieces of beater broke after the third time they were used. She used them for another 6 months and then the weld at the base of the beater broke and it was useless. Kitchenaid makes a good mixer, but their beaters are garbage. The beaters that I bought for the $10 Proctor Silex mixer are made better and more durable. The mixer is awesome, but the beaters need work.

👤A hand-mixer with a slow speed is finally here. My mom has a mixer from when she was a teenager. When it's on the slowest setting, it slowly incorporates the dry ingredients. Every modern mixer that I'd bought had such high speeds that even the low one would blow the flour out of the bowl, making a huge mess. Higher speeds and the boost in power were not needed. It was frustrating for me to use this because I never found a bowl tall enough to hold everything inside. The mixer's setting is slow enough to be useful. I can mix the wet and dry ingredients with ease. I've only used this a few times so far, but I'm very pleased with the results. It is a pretty color and balances well when you need to set it down. When I looked at the manual, I was a bit sad to see that other models came with extra attachments, however after looking up, it seems that those extra attachments are compatible with this mixer. Since these beaters can be used for most things, I was reassured that this was the right model for me, since I might as well not pay for the extra attachments unless I need them in the future.

👤Not a good product. I've returned two of them. KitchenAid is no longer a quality product. I will not rely on their name again in the future. The mixer is not loud. It has a variety of speeds. They have a lot of pretty colors. The beaters are very flimsy. The beaters are not stable on two orders of the same model. Again, a feeling of low quality.

👤This thing couldn't make butter. It's really under-powered. Everyone had mashed potatoes the first time they tried it. The thing was going to burn up. I was the jacka** because it was a gift.

👤I bought this for my son and his bride. I used it when I went down for their wedding first person to use it. I ended up whipping cream for a dessert with their Ninja. I'm not in a position to arrange a return, but I would if I could. I apologized to them and told them to get rid of it. I will buy them another mixer since this is a worthless pile of plastic. I never thought I'd have to say that about a product. You can save yourself some trouble and disappointment by buying another hand mixer.

KitchenAid KHM7210ER 7 Speed Digital Accessories

Refer to the user manual for questions surrounding warranty policies and the product is free. Combine ingredients at speed one for slowly stirring in ingredients, speed four for mashing potatoes, and speed seven for beating egg whites and whipping meringue. The Soft Start feature helps to prevent ingredients from splattering. You can approach ingredients from any angle if you lock the cord on the left or right side of the mixer. The round cord is easy to clean. The handle has a soft grip. The single-handed press of a button can be used to remove any accessory from the hand mixer.

👤I should have read the previous negative reviews. I gave it a try. The non-collared beater wobbled badly every time it was turned on. Like - Horribly. If you were to get hit by a wobbly beater flying off, the motor has such poor power that it is unlikely you would notice. I planned to retire from the hand mixer I have been using for 20 years. The piece where the beaters attach oddly seemed to be very thin plastic, and I didn't know how the body would hold up. So disappointed! I expected better quality from Kitchenaid. The return was handled quickly by Amazon. Now is the best time to buy a Cuisinart model.

👤I bought a mixer for my wife. I was happy to know that KitchenAid is a good brand, but after opening the product, we were disappointed. The attachment was not balanced. We will definitely be sending it back because we can make do with little issues when buying new things. One of the two attachment made the mixer shift and vibrate in your hand while running, because it was so bent. It would be great to get the product right the first time.

👤I like KitchenAid. I would have liked to have grabbed one with a bit more color pop. It's easy to use and works great. It's a bit heavy, but it's more durable than the flimsy off brand ones. Highly recommended. The seller arrived in no time. If you think my review was helpful, please click below. Let me know if you have any questions and I can answer them for you.

👤OK, but not great. It starts out slow but it's too hard to get to top speed. If you hit the increase button six times, you have to shut it off again. I prefer a switch that allows me to move quickly. It doesn't have a high top speed. I thought it wouldn't get the job done. The mashed potatoes were fine. It's not sure how well it would do on thick. Everything comes apart easily. I returned the worthless model I ordered because it was cheaper. I spent twice as much on this one, but I didn't think it was worth as much. If it was the first one I ordered, I would have returned it but it is a keeper now. The first one did not do the job well.

👤Even though the reviews said it was quiet, I was still amazed. It is easy to handle and does an excellent job of mixing my cake and muffin batter. If I wanted to make bread or something more than cakes or muffins, I would use the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer, which is wonderful. I have arthritis in my hands and wrists. I was worried that the mixer would be too heavy and awkward to use. Not at all. The hand mixer is inexpensive.

👤After years of using my old hand mixer, I decided to change it. I decided to get the Kitchen Aid after reading the reviews. I loved it the first time I used it. The new beaters are great, they cream on low. I have it set up so I can grab it when I need it. I didn't know why I waited so long to change my mixer. This makes my baking so much easier, and enjoyable, without batter whipping out of the bowl with my old mixer.

Brand: Kitchenaid

👤This was a gift. I'm certain that these have been refurbished. There were fingerprints on the mixer from the sealed box and a small dent in the bowl. They don't advertise that they are reconditioning. There's nothing wrong with getting a refurbished mixer, but you should let people make the decision for themselves.

👤I bought this over a month ago and it was quick to get hot and noisy, I didn't want to replace it because it was a hassle I didn't want to deal with, but then I decided to go ahead and replace it because it turned out to be a faulty one What are the odds of that happening? I had no idea that the head that spins, cracked, and deposited metal in my dough, was the same one I had unboxed. The brand that I'm excited to add to my kitchen, which has a solid reputation, turns out to be faulty twice. I don't want to try a third time, I don't want the mixer anymore.

👤The mixer is very good. You all know that. The purpose of this review is to help people who are confused between Ice Blue and Aqua Sky. I saw Ice Blue at Target. I couldn't find Aqua Sky in person, so I tried to figure out which online pictures were accurate. There weren't many real life pictures to look at. I ordered Aqua Sky. It's perfect for me. The best way to describe the difference between the two colors is here. ICE Blue is very bright and airy. There is a touch of green. It's gorgeous. Aqua Sky is a dark turquoise. The color of the stones in Native American jewelry is similar to this. I think it's more of a country blue/green than Ice Blue. Like a jar. I have included a picture of it next to the actual Ball jar. I put a baby blue cup and a light mint green plate in the other photo so you can see how the shade of Aqua Sky falls in between the two. One picture with flash and one without. I hope this will help people who are confused about what shades look like and which is best for their kitchen.

👤I had to clean the bowl for 45 minutes with a baking soda solution to make sure there was no leftover mess from KitchenAid's polishing process. I think that they should be the ones to change their polishing process since this is such a high cost product and I don't want to risk ruining my food. I find it disappointing that the company isn't fixing the issue.

👤4.5 stars. I prefer to give credit where credit is due rather than short change a product, but just keep in mind there are a few drawbacks to this mixer. This sucker is very dangerous. Most of us have seen these mixers around for a long time, but it was probably just me that didn't realize that all kitchenmaid stand mixers are not created equal. Different models have different capacities, speeds and effectiveness. I wanted to wait to write this review until I had explored this machine more, because it's such a big investment. The product has proven to be strong now that I have used it. We have a small kitchen and so it gets moved around a lot, this hasn't resulted in any sort of loosen or wiggling which is important when you have that dough hook running at top speed. The heft of the sword can make it a double edge sword. If you have trouble lifting things or have arthritis, be sure to keep this on a mobile kitchen cart or give it a permanent countertop space to avoid having to lift it from a bottom cabinet which can be a chore. It is nice to be able to toss something into the mixer and walk away to get the other ingredients without having to babysit a bowl. I like working with doughs or honey. The sizes of the attachments are 888-282-0465 and are easy to put on and take off. The rubber sided mixer attachment is the only one that can be used without having to angle a separate spatula into the mixer, I would be open to forgoing some of the other attachment in order to have this one right. It would be great if you could install add-ons to the drawer that would not slam, that way the head of this mixer would be protected. The blue color of this mixer is dreamy. It's beautiful and a bit novel, but still easy to match to other kitchen products out there. I think this piece of equipment is a great investment for anyone who likes to cook or bake, and I really do love it. This model is sturdy enough to teach the little ones and is great for families. The machine is great, but it's half star because of the lack of slow-down mechanism for the head and the lack of spatula on the mixer attachment. There are pros and cons. It is built to last, easy to use, and does not slow down when dealing with difficult foods. There are some things that are CONS: It's not bad for an investment piece, but the Spatula Mixer Attachment isn't included, so it's not necessary to remove the bowl often. There are tips. If you have a mixer nearby, check out TJ Maxx and Marshalls, they have attachment on sale for 60 percent off the selling price. If you're working with dough, watch out for it coiling up your dough hook and into the gears if you're not careful. The best way to get into the attachment holder and metal pieces in the head of the mixer is to use a metal blemish extractor. It is not as strong as a toothpick, which can break and get caught in the gears. Did my review help you? I hope so! If you have a question, use the comments section below.

Brand: Kitchenaid

👤I got this as a gift for Christmas and I just wanted to use it for the first time. It sounds like it's coming apart in the front of the machine. If we had used it right away, my return period would have gone back in a second. It only does it when there is a load. We made frosting which is low load so I'm afraid what it would do if we tried to make bread dough. I still have buyers remorse. This makes less dough than my 6 quart mixer. The bowl has higher sides and less surface area than the 6 quart blades. You try to make a larger amount and it makes a mess. If you're looking for a higher capacity than your existing kitchen aid, I recommend looking elsewhere. We have gone back to our 6 quart and it has become a paperweight in our house and we are hoping to resell it. Update 4/6/18... It's getting louder. Did some cookie dough. I thought it was going to fall apart.

👤I was excited to find the commercial version of the KitchenAid mixer. I was confused by the lack of power, smell and clicking noise when I first used the mixer. It was only a matter of time before the unit stopped working and the smell kept coming back. After being left overnight, I thought it was due to overheating, but it never fired back up. It is on its way back in less than 3 weeks.

👤I have used this twice and it is the same model as the professional 600. The pro 600 lasted 4 years. That's it. I was intrigued by the reviews about the people who purchased the commercial model that was previously used by the 600 pro model. I make on average. Pizza dough is 20 ounces per week. I am concerned because I saw this skip a little toward the end of the process. The 600 model is more Quiet than this one. The 600 was so loud. I hope that I don't regret this purchase in 4 years. The mixer is sputtering when making 60 ounces of pizza dough. I lowered the rating of this Commercial mixer to a 3 star rating.

👤This is a car for bakers. I have used Kitchen Aids in my kitchen for decades. They groaned and labored with heavy doughs, even though they are sturdy. If they got hot, I would let them rest. I have been looking for a machine that was larger and had a motor that matched. This has all that and more. I am very happy with this machine. I can do triple loaf recipes without taxing the motor or overflowing the bowl, and this is quieter than my older smaller machines. The whip is big gun quality, the hook is spiral, and the paddle is the same. The flip up opening is a nice touch and a change from having to remove it. I have kept my smaller mixer because it's too big for some jobs. It's nice to have choices when you cook and bake, but you could use it for smaller jobs. This would be it if I had one. I almost gave up on Kitchen Aid to get a bigger machine. The 6-7 quart mixers that have come out in the last few years are not going to be able to handle the bigger batches. This doesn't heat up, doesn't groan, is a workhorse and I don't mean a quarter horse, I mean a large horse and graceful.

👤I received a 4.5 quart KitchenAid mixer last week. It is something my husband does. I've been wanting for a while. My husband does a lot of baking. The package was well packaged and received in excellent condition. We haven't used a mixer in a while, but I believe in Kitchenaid products and I am giving the mixer four stars because it looks great. If you wash the bowl in warm soapy water, it will not remove the polishing from the bowl. If you only wash with this method, your first batches will probably be ruined. The batter has a black substance in it. I called Kitchenaid and was told that polishing is a problem. I was told to make a paste with baking soda, salt, and lemon juice and scrub the bowl again. I used baking soda and lemon juice to give it a good scrub and it is fine now.

👤The power cable and base were dirty when I received it.

👤I've been wanting a mixer for a long time. I went to a lot of stores to find a decent priced mixer. Every store I went to was too expensive for me. I looked on Amazon and found this baby at a 180 + tax. A friend of mine is a baker. I listened and am so thankful. I have already made chocolate chip cookies and they turned out great. When you receive your mixer, there will be a registration form and instructions to register online. You will get 25% off on the purchase of appliances to attach your mixer if you do it. I can make zucchini noodles with the spiralizer for less than the posted price. I love this mixer. I can finally make whatever I want and I can make a cake for my family member's birthday. It comes with three different accessories for mixing.

👤Not any more! I owned one of these for 25 years or so, and I made many cookies and loaves of bread. I have all of the ingredients for pasta and sausage. I love it! There is a Like all of us, it died. The ceremony was peaceful. I bought another one. The times are changing. Good thing they have laurals to rest upon, at least until we figure it out. You know the little thingy that holds the attachment in? Nope. No more. The attachment makes noise when it rattles around on the spindle. There is a The pleasant whirl of the motor? Nope, grating sound now. There is a The lock that holds the head in place while you work? That doesn't fit either. When mixing my dough this morning, it has a sloppy fit and makes more noises than I want. bam, ba They have forgotten about quality and the reason I came to them in the first place. There is a The last place. I'll be moving to one of their competitors, hoping to hear quality again.

Brand: Betry

👤The KitchenAid that I replaced only lasted about a year. There is a Looking for the best value and biggest size. I like the handle on this one. I love this appliance. The finish is bright and shiny. It is in my kitchen. This is the most powerful mixer I have ever used and I have owned many stand mixers. It makes potatoes easy to cook. It takes every lump out of cake batter. The machine is firmly in place because of the strong cups. It is easy to operate. The different attachment interchanges smoothly. It operates quieter than the model it replaced. It has a large capacity but is designed to maximize space. I was surprised by the quality of this mixer. It is an amazing value. I am going to give one to my aunt as a gift. It was nicely boxed.

👤I've wanted a real stand mixer for 25 years. One with beaters for dough, a deep bowl, and the ability to get other attachments. Those of us who don't get to have big weddings, don't get these kinds of cool gifts at our wedding and somehow, a $200 mixer never made it to the budget, are not the only ones. I said yes after this one came along. I didn't know the rules of a fancy mixer. I learned quickly that there is no instruction book in our package. Wow. Wow! I usually make frosting from scratch, but I wanted to make sugar cookies. If the butter wasn't pre softened, forget it. The motor was going to burn out. In my video, you can see that it was easy to make a creamy batter with two sticks of butter. I am happy. Everything is easy to clean up. The package contains a standing mixer, Dough Hook, Wire Whip, and Pouring Shield. The weight is 7.06LB/ 3.2KG and the dimensions are 13.98 x 11.30 x 8.82 inches.

👤I'm an older person who used to cook in the kitchen using whisks, beating by hand and even using a hand mixer. It's easy to make food from scratch with this stand mixer, it's a game-changer for those like me who love to make food from scratch. I love watching cooking videos of people using a name brand stand mixer that doesn't have a splash cover, and I think that's great. The motor is strong enough to keep the attachment moving even through bread dough, and the different attachments make it easy to mix up a lot of anything. I think the beige or champagne color is pretty and is a beautiful workhorse.

👤The mixer is very light. I was a bit worried about how it would work. The bread was handled well by the mixer, but I wasn't happy with the feet. I think this product would benefit from having those removed and having a flat bottom like kitchen aids do. I'll have to make some modifications to the bottom of the mixer to make it more stable, because my mixer tended to walk a bit when working dough.

7. Zuccie Tilt Head Electric Dishwasher Safe Attachments

Zuccie Tilt Head Electric Dishwasher Safe Attachments

The single-handed press of a button can be used to remove any accessory from the hand mixer. The Zuccie electric stand mixer uses a motor and rated voltage in line with kitchen appliance design. The electric mixer mimics an arm to perfectly knead dough for a more delicate food texture than other traditional machines. The kitchen cake mixer has a 10-speed rotation control range from fast to slow to handle a variety of ingredients. Knead bread dough or whipping cream when you are mixing wet and dry ingredients. The stand mixer has strong vacuum pressure suction cups on the bottom that help keep it on the counter. The low noise of the machine will not affect other people. The bowl of the kitchen electric mixer has enough capacity to mix enough dough to fit in two bowls at a time, which will save you time and money when you need to make dough for Christmas, Halloween, family day and other occasions. If you're not satisfied, you can easily and quickly contact their friendly customer support. Quality related issues from the date of purchase are covered by the 1 year warranty.

Brand: Zuccie

👤A nice stand mixer. Comes with a wire whip, beater, and dough hook. A large bowl and rubber spatula. The cups on the bottom hold it in place, and they grip it when you set it down. There is a lot of speed and power. It has a dial that adjusts the speeds from 1 to 10, and a pulse if you turn the knob backwards. It's easy to change out the attachment. This is also a great price. I was impressed with the quality. It's going to a girl at Christmas.

👤The stand mixer works well. The large size makes it great for larger portioned recipes, and the multiple attachment and accessories make it great for many other uses. It's nice and sleek, and it's not loud when running. The base is secured in place with the help of the cups. I'm very impressed and I'm looking forward to using it again and again.

👤The mixer wouldn't power on. Send it back. I decided to try it out after the second one came. I wanted the capacity to be increased so I could bake more cookies. The bowl size is more accommodating than the power of the machine is. It just stopped working. The power went off for a few minutes, but came back on again. The machine needs the cups as it mixes. Not a very strong machine. For a secondary unit.

👤Have been learning how to cook. The more I learn, the more I need. The mixer is on my list. I was surprised by the quality when I got it. It seems like it's very expensive. I can't imagine paying that much. Even though I am a beginner for baking, I can handle it. The most important thing is not difficult to clean.

👤I like using the Zuccie stand mixer. I can make dough for many things, including bread, pasta, cookies, and a cake. It is easy to make whipped cream. I like that this mixer is easy to use and clean in the dishwasher.

👤I don't want to spend a lot of money on a KitchenAid mixer, so I looked for a cheaper alternative. The mixer has a good amount of force to stay in place. The large bowl is easy to clean. The motor can be stopped to prevent it from overheating. A good mixer.

👤The capacity of 8.5QT is very suitable for our big family and the operation is very simple. My family was very satisfied with the delicious bread I made with the help of this stand mixer.

👤I think it is worth it, for the price I paid. It does not compare to Kitchenaid Mixers because of the price difference. The Zuccie mixer does a good job of basic cooking, but if someone were to start a bakery or put a lot of mixing stress on it, it would not be able to take it.

8. KitchenAid KGM Metal Grain Attachment

KitchenAid KGM Metal Grain Attachment

The capacity of adjustment. Most tables and boards are 1/2” to 2” thick. The rubber protects your surfaces and prevents the grain grinder from slipping. Low-Moisture Grains are Grinds. From Coarse to Fine.

Brand: Kitchenaid

👤I wanted a Kitchen Aid grain mill for a long time and I wanted to love it. I used it with my kitchen aid mixer. It was too much work for my pro to use this mill with a Kitchen Aid mixer. After reading all the instructions, I set about getting the red fife wheat berries grounded. It was very slow but it turned out to be a beautiful flour. The instructions state that the mixer should cool for 45 minutes between batches if you grind more than 10 cups of berries. She had to knead dough too because it took over three hours to ground six cups. The all metal mill became hot to touch as my mixers motor became hot to touch. Pot holders were used to detach the mill. After just two cups of grinding, I shut the mixer down and cooled it down for 45 minutes. I wanted to make six loaves of bread. If you want a constant supply of freshly baked bread, you need five loaves of dough. I bought six cups of flour from the store. The mill is beautifully built, solid all metal, and opens the box and makes your heart pound with joy and anticipation, but it's not good. I think it is too much work for the motor. I'm afraid to use it again. I love my mixer so much that I threaten it's lifespan for six cups of flour. The grain mill overheated while I was making the tanzhong bread rue, and I had to make it myself. The motor was burning. I was shocked because the instructions said to grind no more than 10 cups. I touched my mixer and the mill hot. I took the grain mill apart and put it in the oven. I thought it must be a problem with my mixer. Nothing. The pro series mixer does not work well with milling grain because it is hard on the motor. After grinding two cup batches of red fife wheat berries, I cooled my mixer down for 45 minutes. I ground six cups of flour. It took seven hours to make the bread dough. The bread was made yesterday by the mixer. It was a lot of work for the 600 watt professional series. The grain mill threatened to kill my motor yesterday, but I have more mixer than I need in my kitchen. If you don't have a pro series mixer, you should not even consider this attachment. Kitchen Aid should make that point very clear. It would be better to grind flour one day and make whatever you want the next. But sit on top of the mixer and grind in two cup batches. The Kitchen Aid pasta attachment, pasta roller, meat grinder, shredder/slicer attachment are all great. I am going back to the grain mill with a heavy heart. I wanted the mill to work.

👤This mill is perfect for the person who wants to make a couple pounds of flour a week and already owns a kitchen aid. artisan? I'm so excited. I was using King Arthur flour before this, and after baking bread from hard red winter wheat? Completely blows away the store-bought stuff. I was surprised how good it was. There is more to the bread than just its appearance. I can't go back after using up what I have. I will probably never buy flour again. How well does the mill work? It's pretty good for the price if you already have a real kitchenaid. If you want a fine flour and are using a hard wheat, you should mill it about 2 to 3 times. If you want something coarse for bread, 1 or 2 runs through. You will need to run it through the mill more than once for most flour. Dealbreaker for me? No. Is this important to the average person? No. It's not perfect, but you have to be realistic for about $100. If you want a small commercial mill, you should pay $2-$3k. For a typical baking enthusiast who is going through a few pounds a week? This is adequate. It takes no time at all to run it on a real kitchen aid. The flour was criticized because it kind of drifts about a bit. My solution was to put my bowl on top of something that was sturdy. You need a real KitchenAid for this, I have a Pro Line motor. It's probably okay if you have the Commercial motor. Is it an artisan? Forget it. One of the other powered mills is a good option.

Brand: Hamilton Beach

👤I write good reviews about products I buy, use, and wear. I wanted a budget version for a cooking class, but I was not ready to buy a Kitchenaid because of the price, so I got this one. The quality of the beaters was not great, the mixer was loud and messy, and the flour was all over the place. I had to use my old hand mixer because I couldn't remove it from the stand. The bowl was the only thing that I liked and I returned it because it was useless.

👤It is supposed to be a stand mixer. You don't learn anything until you open it and read the manual, and that's because you're not supposed to use the dough hooks while using it as a stand mixer. You're supposed to hold the mixer in one hand and a bowl of dough in the other, and use it to knead the dough without either one being wrenched, or dropped, to the floor because bread dough is very stiff. It was useless. I own a hand mixer.

👤I only used the mixer twice to make pizza dough. When the switch is on, the mixer gets warm. I expected more from this brand and will be requesting a refund. I don't recommend this product.

👤I noticed a few annoying problems when I used this for the first time. I had to remove the bowl and use it as a hand mixer because it didn't seem to want to rotate the way I needed it. The attachment didn't want to stay in the correct position. When I tried to make a frosting with it, it began to emit a burning plastic smell, and shot out a few puffs of smoke. I immediately turned it off and went back to my old mixer. I bought this as a starting stand mixer for my home bakery business, and have a few other Hamilton Beach products I've been very pleased with. It's going back and I'm very disappointed.

👤Make sure to check your mixer pieces. I was washing mine and the metal was falling off of it. Thankfully I checked before I used it. I tried this mixer out to see if it was worth it, and it was crazy. I tried it on some cake batter and it was crazy and smelled like burning electrical... save yourself the time and money. It isn't worth it.

👤We knew that the mixer would be returned when we took it out of the box. The beaters were small and flimsy and the whole thing was made out of plastic. We decided to try it out. It was confirmed that we would send it back. The cake batter never got fully mixed, and the beaters did not reach to the outside of the bowl. Amazon has an easy return policy.

👤The product is pretty good. It is missing a way to lock the bowl in place. It spins with the mixer. When you turn your back on it, it speeds up and flings whatever you were mixing in a beautiful circle pattern all around your kitchen. It's hard to clean under the spinning wheel. The mixer part works well.

👤I was attracted to this kitchen mixer because of its one-star comment, which accused it of having a false description and made me almost afraid to buy it. There is a It's the most functional and affordable product I've ever seen, and I don't need to buy all the accessories separately. I decided to try the machine and leave a comment. The first 1-star comment I saw was unfair. I got a big mixing bowl instead of a small one, and all the accessories I was looking forward to. The accessories look good. If they're dishwasher safe, that would be icing on the cake. Some magazines and websites don't recommend judging a food mixer by its power. There is a difference between the rated power and the actual working power in your home. I'm sure this mixer works well. This is an attractive mixer that performs well, and is an excellent value for money. The other $300 branded mixers are more expensive.

👤False advertising! It is a 9 and a half quart mixer. It is not. The max capacity of the bowl is 8 quarts. If you have 6 quart usage, you're lucky if you're low down inside the bowl. The dough is smashed up against the shield, which is embedded inside the attachment spring, and then it goes up inside the attachment housing. Absolutely disgusted by the lies of this ad. It's cheap and flimsy. All plastic here. The pictures show how much bowl capacity is lost if the beater housing unit is placed in a different location. This bowl is claimed to be 9.5 quarts, when it really doesn't hold 8 quarts. What a waste of money.

👤Each time I write this, it gets deleted. The machine I bought was the worst I have ever bought.

👤The mixer is very powerful. The large bowl makes it easy to double or triple recipes. I don't have to keep stopping the mixing action because it's very powerful. The mixer doesn't slide around because the cups on the bottom stay on my countertops. It is light and easy to use on my wrists and arms. Comes with a lot of useful things. I don't like the fact that the beaters come off to easy if I raise it to add ingredients. I can live with that. I highly recommend it. I will get my money out of it if it lasts a couple months. It is going strong and there are no signs of quitting. I would buy another one. It came very fast.

👤It was packaged well. I loved the price and the attachment. haven't used it yet. Great customer service and fast shipping! I used the mixing part and it was just as good as my expensive one. Can't wait to try the other attachments.

👤I was hesitant to buy this after reading some bad reviews. I am very happy with this mixer. The name brand mixer seems to struggle with dough. The mixer handles the dough well. I made 4 batches of bread with it. I am impressed. The bread is great, and the mixer did not have a problem. I worry about the pull of energy because I live off-grid. The machine did not have much energy. I need to use the rest of the attachments. I think this mixer is very good.

👤Don't buy this. It's an unsafe product. The jar comes out when the motor is running. I was so disappointed with Kitchen Aid. I have given them a chance before. The dough hook is white. When the bowl starts to come out, it's so dangerous that you should not buy this. Very frightening.

👤We bought this mixer after reading great reviews on Amazon. The first mixer we got worked on was great for the first 2 months, until one day, while preparing bread dough, the bowl came off and flew around the mixer, causing someone to get hurt. We were very happy to hear that KitchenAid would replace the mixer for free. We got a new mixer about a week later and started using it again. When we used the mixer to make bagels, the bowl wouldn't stay in place and started to fly around the mixer again, we were surprised. Kitchen Aid support is sending us another mixer. If this is a recurring issue, we will have to replace parts at our own cost, because they only provide a one year warranty. This is a very expensive appliance. KitchenAid should provide better quality than what we got. If you love making bread, you should think about buying a mixer that is strong enough to make bread dough, since it seems this mixer just doesn't hold up to the expectations. We are very disappointed with this mixer, we hope the replacement will be better, and we don't have to worry about it again after the warranty period is over. This is very dangerous and we have attached a video showing what is happening to the mixer.

👤Please don't buy a kitchen aid here. Save yourself and your loved ones and buy them from the best place to buy them. If it breaks, anyplace that cares about its customers is willing to help or exchange it. I have only had it for a couple of weeks and it won't turn on. I was making pie filling for Thanksgiving pies last week and it sounded like the motor was about to run out of gas, but of course not that loud. I wanted to save anyone I could from the trouble I'm fixing.

👤If you bake breads frequently, this is the best mixer for you to use, it is powerful and efficient, and kneed your bread as fast as possible, only use speed 1 and 2 when kneading a dough, I have made bread with this machine 3 times a week from Jan 2017). I make whipped cream in less than 4 minutes with my kitchenAid, and I am sure that it will last for years. I dropped a star because my dough hook came with some scratches and minor imperfections on it, and second my first dough in this mixer got grayish color from the bowl even though I had washed it with soap before making my first dough in it. I was a little upset because they should have written this information in the manual. How should I know that I have to wash my bowl? If you have read the review then you know what to do and I highly recommend kitchenAid mixer to all my friends.
