This product was the most affordable, it came on time, the packaging was secure, and the ring is sturdy. I was able to use it with minimal effort. It worked great for my cake, as I forgot to take a photo before I took off the ring, but it came up over the bottom two layers and held everything together until it was time to serve. Because the ring is changeable, cake can get between the metal layers, so you have to clean it. The ring size adjustment can be accomplished with the help of the clamp, but it requires you to hold it just right, which earns it a solid 4 stars. The seller is my biggest pet peeve. The seller will bombard you with emails after you buy the product, trying to get you to review it. It makes me nervous that the product isn't really any good and I don't understand why they are trying so hard. I think it's a good cake ring for an amateur baker like myself, and it's worthy of a review on its own merits, not because the seller is pushy.

It was frustrating.

The mold served its purpose well and the cake turned out perfectly. I bought a mold that will allow me to make the size of cake I want, rather than having to go out and find a pan. I am very happy with the outcome of my purchase, it was a great investment, well constructed, easy to use, and easy to clean.

I was worried that the circle might not be round when I adjusted the diameter for bigger cakes. I masked a seven inch and 10 inch cake and the clear and sharp edges spoke for themselves. The cake ring should have sheets inside. It works well for taller cakes when used with acetate sheets. Highly recommend it for its ease of use and hassle free cleaning.

👤Outstanding! I am asked to make carrot cake for a lot of people. The biggest problem with this cake is it is very sticky. When I make it in metal pans, I have to line it with wax paper and then peel it off when it is done, because I don't want the cake to tear. They popped right out of the pans after I oiled them and greased them. They were small enough. I could keep them in the fridge for a day or two until I frosted the cake. Perfect! It is easy to clean and flawless results. They are a little deeper than traditional cake pans, which resulted in a great depth for the layers. I love these!

I was about to ignore the smell when I noticed that the packaging had 2 labels. The country of origin is not revealed in the bottom of the pictures, but I read the original label to find it to be from China. I found this deception to be concerning with a food prep product, because of all the deceptive business practice from the majority of Chinese Companies. I wish Amazon would make it compulsory for all vendors and products to be labeled with the Country of Origin so that customers can make well informed purchases and not have to look for it themselves. The item is being returned. I don't recommend this product.

The only mistake I made was not baking the cake in a backwards "4" so that I could flip the pan over after it baked and decorated the flat side. It was a challenge to get the 4 out without some tearing, but nothing a little icing couldn't patch up. I used the correct amount of cake mix. There was little batter around the inserts and it was easy to trim away after baking. The cake pan is a must have for bakers. I would give this to someone I knew loved to bake and didn't have one. I wish I'd discovered it sooner.

Remember to tap down the chocolate so you don't get bubbles, and then paint the eyes and ears with colored white chocolate before pouring the base color. Be very careful unmolding it. One of my bunnies cracked when the filling wasn't thick enough. I am very happy with my mold. I didn't think they came out so well.

If you put it on it's side, it will be destroyed. Let it cool down completely. 8. Add a crumb coat to the cake before adding frosting.

I made the cake using the recipe in the little instruction book that I found after I got the bleeding under control. The grandkids loved it. I don't think I can recommend this pan. Nordic Ware needs to make a safer version.

I need to buy a better organize for the tips.
