👤I have used the Kizen instant read thermometer for a few months and have mixed results. It is easy to use the thermometer. It's easy to clean. The magnetic backing makes it easy to stick places and not have to reach to find it. The Kizen instant read thermometer is not at all "instant" or even fast, which is a problem for me. I wanted a very fast temperature. I was able to get quick readings while holding the door open. I like to cook with heat and smoke so I picked the Kizen because it claims to read in less than 2 seconds. The Thermometer climbs slowly for a short time before giving a reading. Watching it climb and then probing different areas in the meat, or different pieces of meat, really is a killer. If I have to probe 5 times and it takes 7 seconds per probe, I have the smoker door open for more than half a minute. I had hoped that the door would open for a third of the time I had bought it, but if it took just a few seconds, I would have the door open for a third of the time. I'll continue to use open pan grilling but I'm going to be looking for something else.

The seller hasn't responded to multiple requests, so much for their promised response to emails.
👤It was put in the bottom of my pot. It seems to work well for my pot. It has a dome to it and is not perfect. I thought it would be a problem. The jars stayed in place despite the slope of the dome, because I did a half-pint of half-pint. The jars are not tipping because of the tighter mesh surface. I want it to have four feet on it, but so far it has not tipped from the weight of the jars, so I want to make extra feet for it with screws nuts and washers in between the feet. I ordered the 13 and it is true to size.

I wasn't going to look for a half sheet box to return the product. I just print out a slip and drop the product off at a facility. I threw out the pan because it was not an option. It was sad that it didn't work out and that a replacement was hard.

The micro-grooves make them fit into channels which can only be cleaned one at a time with the corner of a rag or brush, and they serve as perfect spots for oils and grease to pool and bake on. You end up cleaning the pan one square inch at a time. You're left with a non-stick surface over the raised 50% of the pan and the other 50% of the pan has burnt oil in it, which sticks like hell. I stick a silicone baking mat in it for anyone who has already purchased it. For everyone else, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you can find the cheapest pan, you can buy the mats. They are easy to clean.

👤I usually bake bacon in the oven, but when the old baking rack fell off, I went looking for a new one. After about a month of use, I can say that I am completely satisfied with them. The most annoying thing about my previous baking racks was the fact that they were dirty after I baked bacon. My previous rack had a grid of wires and bacon that got stuck in the corners. The lack of a grid, the greater distance between wires, and the thicker wires make cleaning them easy. I don't think the rack loses much strength, although I'm not sure if it would support a half-sheet-sized fruitcake or roast, I imagine most cakes.

I am too steep for my budget. The owner of the Thermapen wrote a review about the differences between the Thermapen and the thermopro. They said their performance was the same. I went with the ThermoPro because of the price difference. I wasn't disappointed. It works great to read meat temperatures and hot oil temperatures. I would recommend it to anyone.

The fundamental cheapness of the product overcame my careful handling of it. Don't pay more and get a unit that won't break. When I tried to uninstall the probe, it didn't work. There are big numbers on the display.

It's pretty pathetic that both of them only lasted three months. It's not worth the money.

I can't say if that would work because I don't have a baking sheet. When I saw a good price on these, I ordered them because I wanted a non-aluminum baking sheet/pan. They are of a thick metal and are difficult to lift if something delicate is on them. They're not as strong as my old one. WearEver aluminum pans are heavy enough to not "twitch" in a hot place. The oven is 232C. Oh my gosh! They are light enough to pick them up and keep hold of them, which is important if you're like me and experience those momentary losses of grip strength. I only use them with the top surface covered in paper, and I keep the bottom surface covered in paper for storage. I only have to wash them with a sponge, but that has kept them clean. I use one pan toshove the paper down into the other, so the sides are also covered. I am not an "avid baker". So, sorry. I don't have any relevant experience that would allow me to comment on how smooth they would be if they were sprayed with oil, rubbed with butter, or cooked directly on the metal. If I do that, I'll try to remember to write an additional statement about how easy it is to clean the grids if they're soaked for a while. Hooray! It's never a good idea to stand these pans after washing them at an angle that water can get trapped inside the "rolls". -

I split the turkey into two parts, one white and the other dark, and put them on turkey roasts. I didn't stuff them. Each roast is 3.68 pounds. I slid the roll into the net after rolling them in a board. It was an easy fit and the netting could still stretch. I was happy with this size since it was easy to slide these roast in with the method I used. It would have been more of a challenge to use a smaller size. The roasts are 2 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 wide, with plenty of stretch left for something larger. I split the turkey in half because we are a small family, but I am confident that the whole turkey would fit in the net. This is the first time I have ordered nets and I can see that this size would be perfect for a stuffed pork roast. It would be too big for a stuffed pork tenderloin. I plan to order a smaller size for that because it is so much easier to tie a piece of meat in a smaller size. I am very happy with the quality of the netting and I think it is a must have in my kitchen. It is worth the price.

I can't believe I've wasted decades tying string manually. I believe the largest size will work for even your smaller meats, as long as you keep cotton tight and can expand. If you keep it simple and push meat into net by pushing a funnel through it, it's easy to do.
