They come in a box with seals on it. The package comes open during shipping because the box ends and seals aren't large enough to hold the weight of the paper. I realized the issue when the second product came with the box ends open and seals broken, due to the weight of the paper moving in the box during shipping. When the plastic package is loose in the Amazon box, it can tear and open the paper inside the box, exposing it to the outside of the shipping box. I kept the second shipment because I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it again. The second issue was quality. Food sticks to this more than regular paper you can buy at the grocery store. It was frustrating to discover that the meringues stuck to the paper and crumbled when I tried to remove them, even though I had purchased this to use when I bake them. To make sure it wasn't just a bad bunch of meringues, I lined 1 baking sheet with a roll of regular store-bought parchment paper, and 1 baking sheet with the Hiware sheet, and spread the batter between them. The store-bought paper was not the only thing stuck to the Hiware. The price, the fact that it's precut, and the fact that it's flat are the only good things about this product. The bad outweighs the good because it gets messed up in shipping and doesn't work as it should. Not recommended.
👤I took a chance on an off brand product because my usual brand was not available. The performance of this paper has not been affected by the thinner paper. Thin sheets are even easier to work with and take up less space in the trash. The sheets are very easy to work with because they are flat, not rolling up on the edges. I was worried about the one size but so far these have been large enough for every job. I cut them with scissors. I could overlap 2 if I needed a bigger sheet, but that hasn't been necessary yet. Finding the right place to store the box was the only downside. It wouldn't fit in the same spot as a roll. I chose a lower cabinet with the box against the wall. It's easy to grab a single sheet and slide it up and out, it takes little space, and cabinet height has to be adequate, at least a few inches higher than the sheets are long. It seems like a good quality and convenient alternative to what I have been using. I'll buy them again.
