Best Baking Organization Containers

👤No matter how I try, it's not airtight. Not leak-proof. A piece of rubber fails to seal. When they are sealed, I can pull the lid off. Pain in the ass to wash. The lid is crooked and doesn't fit. They are all-around terrible. Send them back.

👤I love these. I cook with lots of nuts, grains and flours. I am buying a second set of fridge drawers to hold nuts, flours, and other items. It's easy to take lids apart. So you don't rust the springs which are good quality. Take a look at your storage space. The shorter ones will fit in most normal cabinets.

👤Don't get them. When you wash them, the lids hold water. Everything is hand wash. You are not buying something to destroy food with water and humidity. Hello flour and mold!

The canisters seem to be working. You might have a problem if you need 2 of the large size. Hopefully by the time you read this, they will either correct the photo or put the sizes shown in your order.

👤I like these. I was able to organize my pantry. These are my favorite air tight containers. The twist on top is very simple. They do get some water in the lid, but it's nothing to give less stars over. They are worth it.

👤I bought the large set of the round ones because it was half the price of the square ones. It's perfect for my baking supplies. It is impossible to get all the water out of the tops when you clean them, because there is water in between and inside. Is anyone else stressed about this?

👤The 10-piece square airtight food storage containers are made in China. Two of the different size containers are in this set. All of the containers have a 5” square top and are stackable. The 4 quart size weighs 1.6oz and is 11.875” tall, while the 2.5 quart size weighs 14.6oz and is 9.25′′ tall. It is easy to clean and install the gasket on the lid. The handle has an arrow on it. It is easy to turn the handle to make sure there is a tight seal. One of my pet peeves is a container that has a hard to use lid. I like the lids on this set. Amazon's 10-piece square airtight food storage containers are easy to use and clean.

👤This is a great caddy for all of the Tupperware lids that disappear like socks in a laundry room. I was able to fit a few into it. It comes with separators to separate different sizes of lids and a bin to hold previous bins. The company is a small women-owned business, which I am always happy to support.

👤I found it rather flimsy and cheap, but it was easy to put together. The individual dividers are very flexible. They are not tall enough. When you have enough lids stacked in each slot, it works well, but when there are only a few, they fall over. If you over pack 1 the divider will just bend and move into the next section. The next version should have thicker dividers in the slots in the bottom. The whole thing needs to be about an inch and a half taller to work correctly.

👤I wish I had taken a picture of this cabinet before it collapsed. It was easy to put together and it works great. I am not afraid to open this cabinet.

👤This product does what it is supposed to do. I took my nightmare lid drawer and turned it into a usable storage space in 15 minutes. The dividers were easy to install. Slowly but surely, I am getting my kitchen under control, and this has given me a huge leap closer.

👤My search was for products by 'Joseph Joseph', a company that I enjoy. I didn't check and buy because it seemed like a good idea. It does give a place to hold up plastic lids, but it's not a good idea to put them in a drawer. I still use a drawer because this item is not stable. Others pull the lid out or the whole holder is pulled with it. If you can pull out the lids other than the first ones, it's because the shelf above is high. It became annoying after a while. Maybe in a drawer.

👤When it comes to the neatness of my cabinets and pantry, I am obsessive. I've been looking for a long time at how to store all of those containers. It would take me 5 minutes to find the container that I pulled out. Not anymore. I have sorted the lids by size, shape and color in my new YouCopia StoraLid. Why didn't I find this product sooner? I can't believe how easy it is to save space in my food container cabinet, and I can find matching lids quickly. This product is very good.

👤The canisters are very thin and fragile. The item arrived quickly and looked great. One of the canisters on my counter top was lightly grabbed. The canister shattered when bumped as one would with normal use. There were chia seeds everywhere and a glass well. These aren't necessarily cheap, so I expected better quality. I wouldn't recommend it. I will be looking for an alternative set of canisters because I think the others will eventually shatter as well.

👤They feel a little more fragile at the top. I knocked it into something hard the other day and it didn't crack, so I'm not as worried about them breaking anymore. I don't have children in my home so that might be something to think about. The lid is tight. My labels look great on them. 👤I thought I was getting 3 jars with a 50oz capacity each. No. The containers have a total capacity of 50oz. I fit 1.5 packages of pasta in one jar. It was very disappointing. I re-read the listing to make sure it wasn't my fault that it was in a confusing or vague way. I was very disappointed with the product I received. I am using jars that are not what I wanted, but they are easier to use than returning them.

👤The clasp snapped the glass when I closed it, now I only have two. The clasps are difficult to close and keep going crooked, savesay I wanted them for my counter.

👤The importance of sturdy bails is something anyone who uses this type of glass jar knows. The jar's lid is always on one side when you open it. You have to position the lid to flip it closed. It's flimsy and you have to pay attention not to bend the bail. They're ok for decorative purposes, but not practical for everyday use so I will be returning them and sticking with Bormioli Rocco Jars.

The wire hinges and closure are easy to use, but heavy gauge wire should hold up over time. When the jar is opened, the gasket stays in place because it seals tightly. 👤I am happy with the first set and ordering two more as I live in the Caribbean where all food needs to be kept in a container. The sea air and bugs are problematic. These are well packaged, handsome, stackable, easy to open and close, and arrive with attractive black labels and a white pen, making my kitchen more user friendly. I found a top in pieces several months after purchase. Then, another and another. I ordered 3 sets of 21 containers and tops and they are great at keeping nuts and powders fresh. I was not upset with the quality of the products until 4, 5 and six tops collapsed in the same manner. Disappointing. Next time, I will buy another brand. If you don't live near the sea and salt air, the tops won't collapse. Most of the foods are only accessed monthly and four are accessed every week. Out of 21 tops, 16 have self destructed. I am very disappointed. Best to you.

👤Love these. I finally pushed the button and purchased the organizers for my pantry and cabinets. I did a lot of research. This can be overwhelming if you like me. I had to purchase a few types of kits and additional sizes in a couple of brands to get the job done. Here is what I found to be the best. It's pretty close but different size options and personal preferences. I have a few sets of all of these brands and they work for me, hope this helps.

👤I ordered a 7 piece set and loved it so much that I ordered another one. I own a tiny apartment kitchen. I need to find a way to store my flours and stuff. The first set was perfect. There are defects in the second set I ordered. The canister cracked when it arrived. I put packing tape on the outside and glue on the inside of the crack. Not excited to have to come up with a fix for a new item. There is a black spec in one of the containers from my second set. Not a big deal. It got into the plastic during manufacturing. I don't think it's a bug in the bottom of the container, I just have to remember that it's there. The containers in all of these are the best priced. It's the most bang for the buck. Will make your pantry and cabinets look nicer. Even though my second set was not as good as the first, I still recommend it. I would return the second set and get a new one, but that would be a hassle and I really wanted to get my cabinets organized like yesterday! I didn't want to have to send it back and look at the boxes again. I will cut my losses.

I searched the internet for something that would keep my pantry items out. I ordered them on the spot after finding them with great reviews. I called a pest control service and scheduled an appointment to have them come spray my house while I waited for them. These arrived. I put my new sugars and spices in the containers. I had some ice cream and put my bowl in the sink. I woke up to a lot of ants. I was in full panic because our pest control guy wasn't coming until the next day. I couldn't believe I was so stupid. I cleaned my counter again. Everything in my cabinets was untouched when I opened them. The ants did not approach the cabinet. They couldn't smell the sugar. The containers are life saving. If we have flood waters again, I'm no longer worried. They are very easy to use. I am so thankful for the amazing product made by OXO.

I was told to contact the manufacturer. Don't waste your time getting this product, because if it's faulty, Amazon won't stand behind it.

👤I bought these about a month ago to organize my pantry. They look nice and seem to be sturdy, but they are advertised as being air tight. The sugar formed into a brick and the cereals were not fresh after a couple weeks. The freshness of sugar and cereals in their original opened bags is more important than the freshness of these containers. You would expect these to work for $100. The seal is so weak that I can easily pull the lid off after pressing the button. It looks like it might be a fairly common occurrence, but I think mine are malfunctioning.

👤It was arrived in a timely manner. Storage containers from OXO are great. The seal works well and protects items. The container size of the brown sugar is the biggest issue with this set. I don't know what bags of brown sugar they are putting in there, but the ones available in my area barely fit, leaving no room or space for the clay piece to keep the brown sugar moist and not hardened. The container should have been half the size of the containers. It should have been like the 2 quart size. This set would have been perfect if not for that.

👤I bought these because I couldn't afford the more expensive containers that I got free from the store promotion. These were almost identical. The containers are perfect for my lunch back as they are snap-tight and seal well, and you can even bring soup with you. I microwaved something for two minutes, and one of the covers was warped. If they are dishwasher safe, two minutes shouldn't be enough to ruin one of these covers. Not a burn/melt issue either, because I wasn't in contact with the food. It was the perfect size for my insulated lunch bag and an ideal full meal container. They are great glass containers, and compare to the better Lumiarc, but the covers don't compare at all.

👤The lids are the problem. They are very difficult to clip on. I had to bang a clip on the counter top to make sure there was no food in it. The only way to clip the lids on securely is to put them on in a specific manner, which involves turning it and trying to clip all sides with each turn until it is the correct way. If it is square, the clips should fit securely on top of the lid, even if it is rectangular, as long as the lid is able to fit on and clip with no problem. It is ridiculous. I don't know if I've explained the problem so everyone understands what I'm talking about, but if it's not clear please, don't buy this brand. The company needs to redo the lids.

👤The containers were disappointing. 1. They are smaller than I had expected. 2. It took a full 5 minutes to close one of these containers, and even after being used for several days, they still are difficult to snap shut. 3. They don't keep things fresh and moist because you can't burp them.

The compartments are great for storing my spices, noodles, and baking items. I use the baking things to hold chocolate chip bags, food coloring, other chips, yeast packets, and cookie bags. I used this to organize the snack portion of my pantry. My husband and daughter would leave things in my pantry. They can see what's available if they keep things organized. I save money because they can see that I still have some of it. The only thing that would make this better is if it came with a slide rack. I'm short, blessing and curse, but I don't feel like I would be picked on. I will definitely be buying more of these in the future.
